Abstract:
An important component of the image of a modern enterprise is the quality and environmental friendliness of products. International standard ISO 14001:2015 specifies requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to improve the environmental performance of its activities. The spread of the application of ISO 14000 standards in Russian enterprises is hampered by a number of problems: improper planning of the development and implementation of the quality management system, low involvement of the company's management and personnel in the development and implementation of the quality management system. The implementation of ISO 14000 standards in livestock organizations is possible if the criteria are met: the land plot is removed from large cities and industrial zones, the livestock of farm animals meets the standards, the size of the land plot meets the standards for keeping farm animals. It is advisable to organize a quality management system department in the organizational structure of the SRO "Association of Peasant (Farm) Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives of the Perm Territory" for comprehensive support and coordination of the activities of agricultural organizations in the region.

Abstract:
Food waste has become a challenging global issue due to its inefficient management, particularly in low and middle-income countries. Among food waste items, fruit peel waste (FPW) is generated in enormous quantities, especially from juice vendors, resulting in arduous tasks for waste management personnel and authorities. However, considering the nutrient and digestible content of organic wastes, in this study four types of FPW (pineapple: PA; sweet lemon: SL; kinnow: KN; and pomegranate: PG) were investigated for their potential use within biogas production, using conventional and electro-assisted anaerobic reactors (CAR and EAR). In addition, the FPW digestate obtained after the biogas production experiments was considered as a soil bio-fertilizer under radish (Raphanussativus L. cv. Pusa Himani) cultivation. In the results, all four types of FPW had digestible organic fractions, as revealed from physicochemical and proximate analysis. However, PA-based FPW yielded the maximum biogas (1422.76 ± 3.10 mL/62.21 ± 0.13% CH4) using the EAR system, compared to all other FPW. Overall, the decreasing order of biogas yield obtained from FPW was observed as PA > PG > SL > KN. The kinetic analysis of the biogas production process showed that the modified Gompertz model best fitted in terms of coefficient of determination (R2 > 0.99) to predict cumulative biogas production (y), lag phase (λ), and specific biogas production rate (µm). Moreover, fertilizer application of spent FPW digestate obtained after biogas production significantly improved the arable soil properties (p < 0.05). Further, KN-based FPW digestate mixing showed maximum improvement in radish plant height (36.50 ± 0.82 cm), plant spread (70.80 ± 3.79 cm2), number of leaves (16.12 ± 0.05), fresh weight of leaves (158.08 ± 2.85 g/plant), fruit yield (140.10 ± 2.13 g/plant), and fruit length (25.05 ± 0.15 cm). Thus, this study suggests an efficient method of FPW management through biogas and crop production.

Lexén, Sofia, and Sofie Trulsson. ""Vi kallar dem huvudfotingar" : Hur vårdpersonal kan stödja personer med utmattningssyndrom." Thesis, Högskolan Väst, Avdelningen för omvårdnad - avancerad nivå, 2019. http://urn.kb.se/resolve?urn=urn:nbn:se:hv:diva-14010.

Full text
Abstract:
Background: Stress-related ill-health including exhaustion syndrome is increasing sharply. Exhaustion syndrome means a human suffering for the affected and a burden for our society. There is no scientific evidence yet for how people with exhaustion syndrome should be treated. Aim: To investigate how healthcare professionals can support people with exhaustion syndrome. Method: Semi-structured interviews were conducted. The selection consisted of seven healthcare providers who all worked with people with exhaustion syndrome. The data was analyzed with a qualitative content analysis with an inductive approach. Result: What the informants described as support for people with exhaustion syndrome was to provide a care based on the person's needs, to work to strengthen the patient's own abilities, to provide the opportunity for a conscious presence, to create a balance between activity and rest and to give the patient knowledge. Conclusion: Healthcare professionals can support people with exhaustion syndrome by providing a care based on the person's conditions and disease phase. The supportive efforts must be person-centered and have the purpose of providing knowledge and tools on how the person can handle their illness. Cooperation between professions is important. To include the psychiatric nurse and / or the district nurse in the care of these persons would be beneficial as in many cases nursing is a missing factor.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with the men's names found in selected Welsh, Cornish and Breton sources between 400 and 1400AD. The selected sources for the three areas are as follows: for Wales, Welsh Genealogies and Early Welsh Genealogical Tracts, edited by Peter Bartrum; the published Rolls of the 1292 Lay Subsidy; the Black Book ofSt. Davids, 1326; the Dyffryn Clwyd Court Rolls 1292-1 422; the Book of Llandaf, and the Marginalia in the Lichfield Gospels. For Cornwall the source is the Bodmin Manumissions, and for Brittany the sources are: the cartularies of Redon, Quimperle, Landevennec, and Quimper. For all three countries the inscriptions are discussed. The Welsh section is divided into pre- and post-I JOO periods; rankings are provided for the names in the post-II 00 sources and the results from the different sources are compared. This provides information regarding the comparative popularity of names in use in Wales 1100-1400. The process of Anglicisation in Wales can be measured in the use of borrowed names. The contemporary records are compared with Welsh Genealogies to assess the reliability with which names are recorded in WG. The geographical distribution of the names is also considered. The pre-II 00 section compares first the names and constituent elements in WG and the Book of Llandaf, and then compares the names and elements in these sources to those in the Lichfield Gospels Marginalia and the inscriptions. The names and elements found in the Breton and Cornish names are compared both with the Welsh evidence and with each other. The conclusion details the elements used in men's names in the three different areas, and shows which are held in common by two or more ofthe three areas, and which are exclusive to one area.

Full text
Abstract:
Study of materials used on building yards is a way to know the methods chosen by the builders and the evolution of the economy in eastern normandy from the middle of the 14th to the 16th century. The part played by the wood was the most important because it was as well a building material as a fuel for preparation of lime, plaster, tiles and iron, especially at the end of the 15th century with the use of blast-furnace. The penury of woods is perhaps the principal cause of the growth of prices occuring in the first third of the 16th century. Besides, exhaustive study of works done by the different workers involved directly or not on the building yards makes us see the consequences of the labour shortage in Normandy at this time. Despite the fact that workers had polyvalent activities overlaping the ones of other professions, there was no closing of trades before the end of the 15th century. At the same time, in Rouen, there was no concentration of professions in some area of the town but their location was justified by security reasons and proximity of employers. The book of the trade of plombers confirms this late closing of norman trades compared to others regions such as Flanders or Burgundy

Abstract:
This thesis examines Rogier Van Der Weyden's two unique fifteenth century Crucifixions, The Crucified Christ Between the Virgin and Saint John and The Diptych of the Crucifixion, in light of Carthusian beliefs, practices and relevant devotional texts. The specific text used to support this examination is the Vita Christi by Ludolph of Saxony, which in part deals specifically with the Hours of the Passion. Ludolph's text is given visual form in Rogier's paintings and supports the assertion that Rogier and Ludolph were connected by a shared belief and worldview. Key aspects of Rogier's life, supported by original documentation- familial ties, associates, patrons, use of finances, and his close involvement with the Carthusians-- support this assertion. Other models of connections of belief, evidenced through artist's work, are corroborated in the work of Grunewald, Sluter and Durer.

Abstract:
AbstractThe paper delves into manuscript sources connected with various disputations held at Prague University from around 1390 to 1420 and singles out a set of hitherto unknown quaestiones dealing with the nature of the human intellect and its relation to the body. Prague disputations from around 1400 arguably offer a unique vantage point on late medieval anthropological issues, since they encompass an entanglement of numerous doctrinal influences from Buridanian De anima commentaries to John Wyclif’s theories. The paper delineates several conceptual tensions regarding the nature of the intellect, e.g., between materialism (entailed by the emphasis on the intellect’s inherence in the body) and personal immortality. It presents several strategies Prague masters employed to overcome these tensions. For example, an anonymous participant of the 1409 quodlibet develops the Buridanian distinction between the rationally demonstrable materialist tendency and the indemonstrable “catholic truth” about the intellect both inhering in and separable from the body. On the other hand, Wyclif’s adherents (Jacob of Mies and another anonymous master) postulate an immortal spirit hypostatically united to each human being beside the human soul educed from the potency of the matter. Yet, the boundaries between the doctrinal standpoints in question seem permeable, whereby a rigid definition of antagonistic groups in late medieval Prague intellectual milieu (e.g., Buridanians vs Wycliffites) is rendered ineffective.

Abstract:
The first chapter examines how in 1400 Gower oversaw and ultimately withdrew his last ambitious project, the Trentham manuscript (British Library MS Additional MS 59495) conceived for the recently crowned Henry IV. I show that the Trentham manuscript remained in Gower’s possession at the monastery of St Mary Overy in Southwark, where he lived and died. It started out as a trilingual collection for the king, offering the new ruler robust advice on foreign policy, yet Gower chose not to present this work, instead withdrawing from public life. Henrici Quarti primi, the final poem in this manuscript, which I argue is written in Gower’s own hand, features the poet’s most personal self. The trilingual Trentham manuscript, just as Gower’s trilingual tomb in Southwark Cathedral, is an indexical work, explained only through recourse to Gower himself.

Abstract:
Abstract Trinidad and Tobago has the oldest petroleum industry in the world. The activities of this industry have historically impacted the environment and newly drafted environmental rules and regulations of Trinidad and Tobago will require sound environmental management systems by all operating companies in the industry. In order to meet the challenges of these new regulations, the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (Petrotrin) is currently pursuing the development and implementation of an Environmental Management System within its Exploration and Production operations in accordance with the ISO 14001 Standard. This project was initiated in October 1999, and is expected to terminate in December 2001 with international certification. Petrotrin, realizing the competitive advantages that can result from the integration of an Environmental Management System into its operating systems, has placed the implementation of the EMS as a company strategic goal. The project was categorized into three main stages: Development, Implementation and Audit/Certification. To date, the Development Stage has been completed and the implementation stage initiated, with the following successes: • Allocation of manpower resources in the formation of the Steering and Executive Management Committees, and an EMS Project Team; • Training of project personnel in ISO 14001/10/11/12 Standards; • Revision of the company Environmental Policy statement; • Conducting the Gap Analysis Study; • Development of the Implementation Plan based on the results of the Gap Analysis; • Initiated the development of the EMS manual and drafted initial procedures as outlined in the Implementation Plan; • Collection and analysis of data for identification of Significant Environmental Aspects and impacts for Exploration and Production activities. The Development and Implementation of an Environmental Management System in accordance with the world renowned ISO 14001 is expected to derive many benefits to Petrotrin such as reduced operating costs, improved financial performance, increased access to markets, improved environmental performance, improved community relations, improved customer relations and employee involvement and education.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a developing affluent nation. The leaders of the UAE announced the pursuit of peaceful nuclear power in 2008 and by the end of the following year established its Nuclear Energy Program Implementing Organization (the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC)), Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR), and ordered four APR-1400 pressurized water reactors from the Korean Electric Power Company (KEPCO). Nuclear Engineering programs were initiated soon afterwards at Khalifa University for graduate students and the University of Sharjah for undergraduate students. The technical workforce including nuclear power plant local operators and chemistry and radiation protection personnel was established by ENEC and the Institute of Applied Technology as an inaugural program of Abu Dhabi Polytechnic (AD Poly) in 2011. This paper describes the development of the dual education and training program at AD Poly, the experience of the initial cohorts who conducted their training at the APR-1400 units at the Shin Kori Nuclear Power Plant in Korea, and the current program between the AD Poly Abu Dhabi campus and the new Barakah Nuclear Power Plant based on lessons learned from the earlier years.

Abstract:
The Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (Petrotrin) has developed and implemented a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management Audit System of its Exploration and Production, and Refining and Marketing Strategic Business Units. The main objective of this internal company audit was to determine the missing ‘gaps’ or elements from the current HSE Management System and to recommend alternate HSE Management System elements to create a more efficient Management System. The audit checklists and results effectively listed the observations, problems, and compliance issues, as well as corrective actions for improvement in accordance with the ISO 14001 and HSE Guidelines of the Exploration and Production Forum and 29CFR 1910.119 - Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals, Standards as well as the Company HSE key strategic directions including: • 100% compliance with local Environmental and Safety Regulations; • Targets of zero accidents and oil spills; and • Certification HSE Management Systems, for all Company operations. Senior personnel or drivers of the management systems within the Company were interviewed using this structured approach. The results from this company wide internal audit revealed that generally the overall HSE Management Strategies have been developed, but are not fully implemented, although they are formalized in the Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Policies of the Company. HSE is undoubtedly regarded as a priority issue within Petrotrin’s operations, however there is the need to improve the documentation of formalized HSE Management System Procedures, thereby improving the enforcement and maintenance of the management system.

Abstract:
Abstract A digital solution for the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) management system has lately become almost a must for any progressive company, especially the one that strives to take on, pass and maintain third-party certifications (such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001). However, its selection may be a complicated process balancing interests of field workers, executives, procurement, IT, safety/environmental/risk managers and training personnel. The process of selection of the QHSE digital solution starts with defining the scope of the project and its sponsors, stakeholders, resources and budget (most likely estimated, at initial stage). The next step is building of a list of requirements of a desired solution based on feedback from business. It will be followed by research of available solutions on the market and/or in-house capabilities to develop one. Three to five vendors with solutions best conforming to the defined requirements will be requested to do presentations of their capabilities, followed by proof-of-concept for 2-3 top candidates, leading to a selection of a winner. Despite the process described here being very straightforward, there may be pitfalls caused by complex interplay of interests of different disciplines and divisions within the company. The most important conclusions addressing these pitfalls are: It is unlikely that you will find one vendor, whose solution will become the best fit for all disciplines comprised by your management system (quality, occupational health, safety and environmental). An early decision needs to be made (most likely at the executive level) if you would go with a One Solution (Best-of-Suite) or different specialized software (Best-of-Breed) approaches. You need to get a very good idea of various QHSE-related software currently being used in your company at local or division levels. If the decision is made to switch to a new comprehensive digital solution on a global level, you will need to get a buy-in from local/division users before making this switch. Finally, you need to ensure that all stakeholders and interested parties are involved in (or at least informed of) the selection process and agree on its scope.

Abstract:
Violence against women, which is accepted as a violation of human right in Turkey and in whole world for many years, causes physical and mental harms by practicing all kind of personal and collective behavior including force and pressure. Femicides have increased 1400% in the last seven years and one of every three women is subjected to violence. It is doubtful that in international law; Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and Council of Europe Convention and in additional to this in national law; The 1982 Constitution and The Law to Protect Family and Prevent Violence Against Women can provide effective guarantee to protect the place of woman in Turkish Society or not? Despite all of the legislative regulations, the violence against women in Turkey increasingly goes on. For this reason it is crucial to evaluate the articles no 5th, 10th, 17th, 41st and 90th of Constitution which compose the legal basis for preventing violence against women. Republic of Turkey’s founding philosophy bases on equality of women and men, which means equal rights for every single citizen. To end this violence against women; can be achieve only through provide this equality legally and defacto, and also, apply social state’s principles in real life. Because in social states, struggling against this violence should be accepted as government’s policy. The state should be in cooperation with all women's organizations and provide training for related trade bodies.

Abstract:
The objective of the present work was to develop an optimization method for the prediction of the behavior of coals or coal blends in utility boilers, in order to specify the performance and pollutant emissions during the firing. Two methods have been used to study the performance of single coals or coal blends in power station boilers (1) experimental tests, where the coal/blend was fired in either a power station or in a test rig, and (2) use of coal combustion computational fluid dynamic (CFD). Here we will discuss both methods. We present experimental results, for 575 MWe tangentially-fired Combustion Engineering boilers of Israel Electric Corporation and 50 kWth test rig of Ben-Gurion University, that show the control of NOx and carbon content in fly ash (LOI). In addition to the experimental measurements we also established a large data base using a CFD code for a large spectrum of operational conditions. Validation of CFD results was made by comparison with both test rig and full-scale boilers measurements. Only after ensuring that good fit was obtained between experimental measurements and CFD results, was CFD used to establish the data base for coals/blends at a large spectrum of operational conditions. In some cases CFD was run for coals/blends never burned in the boiler, but burned in the test rig. The data obtained, experimental, showed that with tuning and modified nozzles NOx was considerably reduced: from 1200 to 570 mg/dNm3 @ 6% O2 for South African coal at full load. At partial loads NOx emission dropped from 1400 to about 800 mg/dNm3 @ 6% O2. High volatile coals, such as Colombian and Indonesian, firing led to additional NOx reduction to around 400 mg/dNm3 @ 6% O2 at full load. A very large data base was obtained in this effort and brought us to the idea of extending it by using a neural network algorithm [1]. We used these data as a base for the development of a code based on neural network and a mathematical optimization algorithm. The code was primarily intended for use by the plant personnel for better tuning coal-fired boilers to reduce NOx and minimize heat rate. The neural network develops non-linear mapping functions between the outputs of NOx, heat rate, LOI, etc. and the controllable boiler input parameters. The mapping functions are then analyzed by the mathematical optimization algorithm and optimal boiler operating condition are identified. Further, based on networks and a mathematical optimization algorithm we found a proper Adaro and KPC (Indonesian coals) blend and operation condition that led to NOx emission reduction less than 400 mg/dnm3 in a 575 MWe tangentially firing unit with a conventional firing system. This result was verified in experimentally in the boiler. The results presented in this work clearly show that the developed method for reduction emission and performance optimization is available and capable to achieve operational or environmental goals.

"Advanced Intervention Technology Platform Provides Increased Capability Enabling Efficient High-Volume Wellbore Cleanout Solutions on Electric Line." Abstract:
Abstract Electric line deployed well intervention technologies are continuing to grow in use and relevance, this is due to the value provided by a highly efficient and effective means of intervention. It is light on equipment, personnel and logistics, is controlled and precise in its in-well execution, and is less obtrusive to the wellbore, the reservoir and the environment. These valuable characteristics are making electric line deployed solutions the preferred choice of customers for many interventions, whether that be for addressing new well completion, old well rejuvenation or repair, or eventual plug and abandon (P&A) operational scope. Preference is also increasing with those customers who are keen to push the boundaries of these technologies to leverage their beneficial impact across a broader range of intervention operations. Often, the tasks or workscope assigned to electric line deployed intervention technologies are reserved for what would be considered the lighter end of the spectrum, for example, low volume debris cleanout, small component milling and low force tool manipulation. However, as full system-based intervention technology platforms are developed, incorporating advanced interconnected technology components, the magnitude of what can be achieved has expanded electric line intervention solutions into the realms of work scope previously reserved for heavier methods, like coiled tubing or drill pipe based. That, coupled with the efficient and precise execution and inherently light footprint that electric line deployed intervention brings, is adding to the increased interest in expanding its use. Two recent electric line deployed wellbore cleanout operations carried out on the Norwegian Continental Shelf involving high volumes of debris demonstrate the advantages this advanced intervention technology platform has enabled, the scalability of its performance, and why it is challenging the traditional thinking and perception of what is possible on electric line. In the case operation 1, extensive volumes of produced sand had accumulated in a large mono-bore completion preventing the execution of a required P&A operation. In case operation 2, the well had significant Barium Sulphate (BaSO4) scale deposits over much of its length, which prevented well access for a required gas lift valve (GLV) change out. In both these cases, efficient and effective electric line deployed remediation was possible due to the increased performance, in-well task visibility and real-time task control provided by the advanced electric line intervention technology platform that was utilised. Attempting both these cases was strongly encouraged by the customer, leading a one team approach. For case operation 1, high speed tractor conveyance speeds of over 26 meters/minute were achieved on this multi-run operation. Instrumentation provided real-time indication of collection chambers being full, ensuring minimal time on depth during collection. Consistent high volume recovery rates of 100% were achieved on all but one of the collection runs, with a total of 1400 liters of sand debris being collected, clearing 280 meters of wellbore, at an average of 140 liters per 24 hours. For case operation 2, over 2000 meters of hard scale was milled, at a rate of penetration (ROP) of 44 meters/hour, on average, re-establishing access for required electric line intervention runs and the subsequent change out of the leaking GLV to restore the integrity of the well, enabling it to be put back on line and resume production. Record breaking achievements regarding the volume of debris removed and depth intervals cleaned via the intervention technology platform were made in both cases.
