Abstract:
Chinese citrus fly, Bactrocera minax is a destructive and univoltine pest of citrus fruits. Geographical altitudinal gradients as well as prevailing climate affect the biology and ecology of insect. Hence, this study aimed to ascertain the effect of altitude on the adult emergence and morphological variations in various ecological settings of Ramechhap district of Nepal from February to June 2021 in citrus orchard. Six altitude ranges were selected in 50 m distance from 1200 to 1500 m above sea level (masl), ranging from 1201-1250 masl, 1251-1300 masl, 1301-1350 masl, 1351-1400 masl, 1401-1450 masl and 1451-1500 masl. The peak adult emergence periods were the 2nd, 3rd, 4th week of April in 1201-1250 masl, 1251-1300 masl, 1301-1350 masl, respectively, followed by 1st, 2nd and 3rd week of May in 1351-1400 masl, 1401-1450 masl, 1451-1500 masl, respectively. Morphometrics of Chinese citrus fly such as weight, length and width of pupa and adult were almost similar to the species collected in various altitudes. The average body length of male Chinese citrus fly adult was 11.58± 0.112 mm while female was 15.57± 0.076 mm. The average wingspan of male was 20.71± 0.285 mm while that of female was 23.14± 0.156 mm. The longevity of adult Chinese citrus fly species increased with increase in altitude. This information could be useful to design an appropriate management plan of Chinese citrus fly in various altitudinal gradients of Nepal.

Abstract:
The refractory HEAs block material was prepared by powder sintering, using an equal atomic proportion of mixed TiZrNbMoV and NbTiAlTaV metal powder raw materials. The phase was analyzed, using an XRD. The microstructure of the specimen was observed, employing a scanning electron microscope, and the compressive strength of the specimen was measured, using an electronic universal testing machine. The results showed that the bulk cubic alloy structure was obtained by sintering at 1300 °C and 30 MPa for 4 h, and a small amount of complex metal compounds were contained. According to the pore distribution, the formed microstructure can be divided into dense and porous zones. At a compression rate of 10−4s−1, the yield strengths of TiZrNbMoV and NbTiAlTaV alloys are 1201 and 700 MPa, respectively.

Abstract:
Currently, G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) constitute a significant group of membrane-bound receptors representing more than 30% of therapeutic targets. Fluorine is commonly used in designing highly active biological compounds, as evidenced by the steadily increasing number of drugs by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Herein, we identified and analyzed 898 target-based F-containing isomeric analog sets for SAR analysis in the ChEMBL database—FiSAR sets active against 33 different aminergic GPCRs comprising a total of 2163 fluorinated (1201 unique) compounds. We found 30 FiSAR sets contain activity cliffs (ACs), defined as pairs of structurally similar compounds showing significant differences in affinity (≥50-fold change), where the change of fluorine position may lead up to a 1300-fold change in potency. The analysis of matched molecular pair (MMP) networks indicated that the fluorination of aromatic rings showed no clear trend toward a positive or negative effect on affinity. Additionally, we propose an in silico workflow (including induced-fit docking, molecular dynamics, quantum polarized ligand docking, and binding free energy calculations based on the Generalized-Born Surface-Area (GBSA) model) to score the fluorine positions in the molecule.

Single crystals of Ca15(CBN)6(C2)2F2 were obtained by the reaction of graphite, hexagonal BN and CaF2 with an excess of distilled Ca metal in silica-jacketed Ta ampoules at 1300 K. The title compound is transparent red and crystallizes isopointal to Ca15(CBN)6(C2)2O adopting the cubic space group Ia 3̄d (no. 230, Z = 8) with the cell parameter a = 1653.6(4) pm. Its vibrational spectra are compared with IR and Raman data of similar compounds from the literature and with the newly measured Raman spectra of Ca5(BC2)(C2)Cl3 and Ca9(BC2)2Cl8.

De etiologia incerta, a síndrome acomete ambos os sexos e os sintomas apresentados podem facilmente ser confundidos com outras desordens que atingem a região de cabeça e pescoço, como os Distúrbios da Articulação Temporomandibular, neuralgia do trigêmeo, dor miofacial, entre outras.Material e MétodosEstudo transversal, Aprovado pelo comitê de ética local que consistiu na análise de radiografias panorâmicas e prontuários de 1300 pacientes atendidos no Ambulatório de Cirurgia e Traumatologia Buco Maxilo Facial da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco até o ano de 2015, aprovado pelo comitê de ética local.ResultadosForam estudados 1201 prontuários e radiografias de pacientes na qual correlacionou-se significativa relação da presença da síndrome e as DTMs, contribuindo com o correto diagnóstico e posterior tratamento de ambas as condições. Em sua maioria eram mulheres com 44 anos e o tipo de calcificação mais presente foi a forma completa em ambos os sexos, seguido da forma parcial, de contorno e nodular.ConclusãoA partir desse estudo pode-se correlacionar que pacientes diagnosticados com DTM, são suspeitos em potencial para desenvolver a Síndrome de Eagle, visto que a calcificação e alongamento faz-se presente com maiores porcentagens que em pessoas sem DTM.

AbstractTo determine the characteristics of air leakage concerning a “Y” type ventilation in gob-side entry retaining with roof cutting, pressure relief, and the law of a resulted gas accumulation (GA), research is conducted by employing the CFD simulation incorporated with the gauged parameters of working face (WF) mining to analyze the air leakage of “Y” type ventilation. For this purpose, the 1201 fully mechanized coal mining face in the south Wu mining location of the Daxing coal mine is taken as an illustrative example to study the air leakage in the “Y” type ventilation. So, the gas concentration (GC) issue surpassing the limit in the upper corner of the goaf was simulated. The results show that the goaf is formed into an open space when roof cutting and pressure relief technology along the goaf is implemented. The air pressure at the upper corner of the WF would be the lowest, which is only 1.12 Pa. The airflow of air leakage under a pressure difference would move from the gob-side entry retaining to the goaf. Moreover, the simulation of mine ventilation indicates that the volume of air leakage positively correlates with the length of gob-side entry retaining. When the WF is advanced 500 m ahead, the maximum volume of air leakage would reach 247 m3/min within the range of 500–1300 m, and then the rate of air leakage gradually would decrease. When the WF is advanced at 1300 m, the air leakage would become the smallest, which is 175 m3/min. When gas control is under consideration, the effect of gas extraction would be best with the buried pipe whose depth and diameter are set to 4.0 m and 400 mm, respectively. So, the GC in the upper corner would become 0.37%. After the high-level borehole with a 120 mm diameter is mined, the GC in the deep goaf decreased to 3.52%, and the GC at the upper corner became further reduced to 0.21%. While the high-level borehole gas is extracted by employing the extraction system of the high-concentration gas, the extraction system of low-concentration gas is utilized to extract the upper corner gas of the WF, thus, the problem of gas overrun was resolved satisfactorily. During the recovery period of the mining, the GC at each gauging point was less than 0.8%, which effectively guided the secure production in the Daxing coal mine and provided a theoretical foundation to control gas overrun during the mining process.

El crecimiento minero en nuestro país ha sufrido cambios significativos con respecto a la producción de metales preciosos tales como cobre, oro y plata, lo cual ha significado que empresas de gran envergadura inviertan en proyectos mineros que han dejado bien posicionado el nombre de nuestro país logrando que se convierta en uno de los principales proveedores de oro y cobre en el mundo, actualmente ocupa el sexto lugar en la lista de proveedores de este metal a nivel mundial. Si hablamos de Cajamarca, en esta ciudad se concentra la mayor producción de oro en el Perú ver figura.1; haciendo tentativa cualquier tipo de inversión extranjera referida a este rubro. A todo esto se le debe agregar la subida lineal que ha experimentado el precio del oro en los últimos años (ver Tabla 1), manteniendo ganancias muy por encima de los capitales invertidos, pero esto trae consigo que las grandes plantas de procesamiento de mineral demanden altos costos de mantención y por otro lado las normativas vigentes en nuestro país hacen que el cuidado del medio ambiente y la operación minera se hallan convertido en aliados, ya que se ha establecido desde mi punto de vista una relación ganar-ganar donde se debe invertir no solo en la extracción del metal precioso si no en mantener y preservar el medio ambiente a fin de poder mantener relaciones estratégicas con las comunidades y gobiernos locales. Minera Yanacocha gracias a su poder de adquisición facilita el desarrollo e implementación de proyectos tecnológicos de mejoramiento técnico en cualquiera de sus distintos procesos productivos, generando así iniciativa y desarrollo profesional entre sus empleados haciendo atractivo el uso de cualquier tecnología de vanguardia para obtener mayor rentabilidad y mayores utilidades. Finalmente reflejará una buena gestión de los recursos y preservación de los activos de la compañía.
