General rules
The general rules for referencing a newspaper article in IEEE Style are similar to the rules for citing a journal article. The difference consists in the fact that the full date of publication of newspaper (if available) is given instead of just the month and the year.
Bibliographic reference template:
Author(s), “Article title,” Newspaper Article, volume, issue, p(p). pages, date of publication.
For the specifics of giving authors’ names in IEEE Style, see this article.
