This thesis describes education of teachers at elementary school with a view of legal regulation in this issue. Main attention is given on issues of qualification with concrete research at elementary school in Horní Slavkov. Main goal of my work was to define the status of qualification at the school and to compare it with average values in region and whole republic. Then I tried to find possibilities how to gain qualification for teachers in region and I suggested possible improvements. As method I used the analysis of data and questionnaire survey. In the thesis there are chapters about methods of education, remuneration of teachers and planned ganges in this issue. At the end I suggested some recommendations how to provide qualified staff at school.

This thesis has the subtitle Conceptional cooperation between elementary schools and cultural institutions in Prague. It focuses not only on the theatrical field, but also on other types of institutions such as galleries, music ensembles and libraries in order to gain insight into the situation of programs for schools that contribute to the education of the youngest generation of visitors. It aims to map the situation of cultural education in Prague and to put it into the context of the Czech Republic and Europe. Further, the work examines motivation or vice versa barriers of the implementation of educational programs from the point of view of cultural institutions and schools respectively. This is done on the basis of background research, interviews and studies of the constitutional documents. The first part deals with the nuances of terminology related to the education of children in the field of arts and culture, and summarizes the conceptual documents, which work with the term cultural education. Work continues with the summary of the way-out of the current state of cultural education. There are described the most common types of programs for schools, the role of the lector in the institution and different possibilities for the implementation of such programs due to operating conditions. The second part is devoted to a comparison of outcomes from interviews with eight representatives of Prague's cultural institutions and five teachers from elementary schools. Finally the two examples of good practice from abroad are introduced as well as two examples of projects in Prague and their potential for future development.

This diploma thesis deals with the history of the Primary Music School of Jindřich Jindřich in Cheb in the years 1918-1990. Using mainly German written archive sources maps how the school worked between the First World War and the Second World War and also during the Second World War, when the Cheb region became part of the Nazi German. With the information from the chronicles the thesis tries to reconstruct the history of the music school after the Second World War - after the transfer of the German population, the Czech music school was the only music education institute in Cheb, which was later called the Folk Music School of Jindřich Jindřich. The thesis focuses on the operation of this educational organization from various points of view. Apart from the development of the number of students and teachers it pays also attention to the problems (e.g. space, finance, etc.) which they had to deal with in this period of time.

The Ph.D. thesis Reflection of the Framework Educational Program for Basic Schools of Art in Czech Elementary Art Education deals with current development of pedagogical reform and its implication in lessons of music theory at basic schools of art. Based on the research, current pedagogical reform helped to define content and scope of work in lessons of music theory. This thesis deals with the topic of inclusion and perception of inclusive education by teachers at primary schools. The aim is to explore opinions, attitudes of teachers, their experience and experience in relation to inclusive education, which has been implemented in the Czech Republic since 1st September 2016. The theoretical part describes the history and current concept of inclusive education on the basis of school documents, so far elaborated expert studies and other specialised literature. The theoretical part also introduces pupils with special educational needs. There is also a chapter devoted to school assistants. The practical part introduces the description and evaluation of the research. The research is carried out by means of a qualitative survey approach, namely using the method of semi-structured interviews with teachers from the 1st and 2nd grade of primary schools. Subsequently, the content analysis of the data is used and the interviews are transcribed and analysed so that they can be evaluated and the results processed. Results are compared in steps. n the discussion there will be a comparison of my acquired knowledge and knowledge of Czech experts and also the influence of teachers having a special pedagogy degree working with pupils who have special educational needs. Finally, there is an interview with a teacher who works in a special school as a representative of a different view of inclusive education.

This thesisi deals with the inclusive education of children, pupils and students with special educational needs in the current elementary school. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are defined terms as inclusion and inclusive education, pupils with special educational needs, assistant teacher, school advisory facilities. I have tried to clarify inclusive education and summarize the conditions that are important for the integration of pupils with special educational needs in primary school. As a goal in the practical part, I have set the specification of the advantages or disadvantages of inclusive education in a particular case at school that is engaged in this form of education. The class of celected school, where incorporated nine pupils are educated according to an individual education plan, is described in more detail. Supporting investigation, guided interview technique is shown in the next section of inclusive education from the perspective of legal representatives - mothers of pupils with special educational needs. The day-to-day part of our lives are media, which make for distribution of information, offer us some products and have an important impact on our every day activity. It is more and more evident, that everybody should have some kind of medial literacy that becomes one of the most important competence. Its insertion was institucionalized under the name of Mass media education which takes shape of independent learning subject or of one part of the others. 88 Within the reform's efforts, the Mass media education was included in Framework education program for basic education as cross-sectional topic. Based on this educational program, schools had to work out their own special program until September of 2007. The first target of Mass media education is to draw up the functioning of medial texts, to explain how they participate in generating of meanings and mainly to make clear the activity of media organizations and institutions. The second target is to discribe how the public accept some medial products, technologies, institutions and how this public, being every day in contact with media, makes its own significations. In October and in November the empirical survey took place and its aim was to find out teacher's attitudes towards Media education and to make clear how they managed with its integration.

The aim of the thesis was to find out how the quality of inclusive education is achieved in conditions of the primary school with small classes conditions. Identify the most common barriers to the implementation of inclusive education to primary school from the point of view of teachers and teacher assistant. Find out which factors have the influence in the inclusion process from point of view of teachers. It has been developed the case study of the student with physical impairment who is study at primary school with small class conditions. Research has shown that the quality of inclusive education at primary school with small class conditions is achieved by creating a stimulating and motivating scope. Presented Diploma Thesis deals with the topic of Barriers in the Education Process of Vietnamese Pupils in a Selected Primary School. At the theoretical level the work deals with the teaching process and its factors. It also deals with the barriers in the teaching process. The aim of the work is to find out whether the teachers of the selected school perceive any barriers when teaching Vietnamese students and to propose recommendations that would help to minimize or even eliminate the identified barriers in practice. The aim of the work was achieved in the practical part of the work on the basis of a qualitative research survey during which teachers of the selected primary school having experience with the education of Vietnamese students were addressed. It was found that among the most frequently mentioned barriers in the teaching of Vietnamese students belongs the language barrier. Among the cultural barriers teachers mention pupils' non-verbal expressions. They may be incorrectly given the wrong meanings. At the same time teachers don't describe cultural barriers as striking as the language barrier. The Diploma Thesis represents teachers' approach to the inclusion, and the inclusive education in a common primary school. The theoretical part provides information about the basic legislation in the field of inclusion, and explains terms such as integration, inclusion, inclusive education. It focuses on the supportive arrangements for pupils with special educational needs, and analyses specifics of inclusive settings in the concrete school. The practical part describes the research. The aim of the research was to point out the teachers' attitude towards the inclusion and to evaluate their experience with the inclusive settings at the concrete school. The research reveals positive as well as negative opinions. It also summarises difficulties regarding the inclusive education. This diploma thesis is focused on self-evaluation in terms of the merged organizations pre- primary and primary education within scope of problematic of school management. The target of this thesis was mapping the progress of self-evaluation processes of merged organizations and define the rate of continuity of self-evaluation between pre-primary and primary education. In the theoretical part thesis deals with study of present knowledge of this topic in professional literature and research studies, annual reports of Czech School Inspectorate and anchoring of topic in statutory norms of Czech republic. It briefly describes the self-evaluation in the context of the general (corporate) management and self-evaluation of foreign schools. In empirical part is worked with informations collected by structured interviews, analysis of inspection and anual reports of selected sample of the merged organizations pre-primary and primary education, analysis of annual reports of the Czech School Inspectorate and the data obtained from the questionnaire survey. Problematika vzdělávání dětí-cizinců1 v základních školách je pro české školství relativně novým tématem. Území, které dnes tvoří Českou republiku, bylo totiž i přes svou polohu ve středu Evropy po dlouhou dobu ve srovnání sjiným i zeměmi národnostně i rasově relativně homogenní. Bylo to dáno specifickým historickým vývojem zejména po druhé světové válce. Zatímco v roce 1930 se k české národnosti hlásilo na území České republiky jen 70% obyvatel, v roce 1950 již celých 95 /o (Čaněk, 2003). Postupně po sobě následující Holocaust, odsun sudetských Nemcu, nasledne uzavření hranic v totalitním režimu a konečně rozpad Československa zemi národnostně homogenizoval. The thesis examines the Cambodian basic primary education, particularly concerning the problems of financial accessibility and teacher's quality. After describing the historical context, the author analyses available evidence on the current situation of the Cambodian primary education as well as measures undertaken for its improvement. The empirical part examines twelve semi-structured interviews with informants with a diverse background (NGO workers experienced in the area, elementary and lower secondary teachers, and recent students). The research confirmed the importance of the problem of teachers' quality also related to their low education. Problem of informal payments restricting access to education for some pupils was not completely confirmed. Although these problems have remained - both according to informants and literature - the critical challenges of Cambodian education, the findings suggest that recent years have witnessed notable improvements in both these areas. This diploma thesis deals with the situation of emerging private elementary schools in the Czech Republic. As this is a new phenomenon, only recognised in the past few years, there is little detailed evidence that would provide the necessary information about these schools; such as what kind of schools are registered and why they were created. This paper aim is to identify and describe the main types of these schools and understand their functions. The first part is to comprehend the shift in education and stress out the influence and role of new actors. This is achieved through providing the different perspectives on education and through description of supply and demand for education. This new phenomenon is also supported by the Theory of Exit, Voice & Loyalty which explains behaviour of private school's initiators and founders. The diploma thesis deals with the work of teaching assistant working with pupils with disabilities at the common primary school. Within the framework of the inclusive education the number of pupils with disabilities is increasing and in the result increase also the teaching assistent in the primary school. Work with teaching assistant is in the beginning for many schools but there are still various problems. This topic is relevant today and it is discussed in both academic field and general public. The aim of this diploma thesis is to define the work of the teaching assistants at the primary school and the partial aim is to find out how the teaching assistants perceive their profession or what they would change. To meet these goals, qualitative research methods were used, especially semi-structured interviews together with the information from the respondent's demographic survey. The interviews were processed using note- based coding and for obtained data analytical induction was used. The result of the research is an overview of the activities of the assistant teacher and teamwork of teachers and other professional staff. This thesis deals with analysis of the Framework Educational Program for Elementary Education (FEP EE) and finding means to meet the objectives of FEP EE in art education which leads to a concept of seventh grade curriculum. Thesis also reflects the author's personal approach to the formulation of the contents of the curriculum. The theoretical part focuses on examining the FEP EE and finding means to meet objectives in the form of curriculum concept for the seventh grade. The findings of the theoretical part is complemented by comparison of curricular documents for art subjects of Czech Republic and Great Britain. The empirical part describes the procedures for defining the curriculum concept. It includes transmission analysis of the FEP EE objectives to the content of the curriculum, which is based primarily on teaching practice. The thesis dealt with the basic elements of gymnastics in nursery schools in relation to education teachers. The aim of the study was to determine whether education kindergarten teachers in physical education, acquired at secondary pedagogical schools and faculties, is sufficient for quality management of physical activities and specifically gymnastic activities in nursery schools. The paper used two research methods: analysis of educational programs teaching schools from internet sources and interview teachers of kindergartens. The research was divided into three thematic areas. In the first part was analyzed curricula for secondary school teachers and teaching faculties devoted to physical education, has been found to the current state of education in this area. The second was investigated by questionnaire method glance graduates on their education in physical education. Emphasis was placed on their particular experience and personal opinion. The third area is also through the questionnaire dealt with the application of acquired knowledge and skills of teachers in practice. The thesis focuses on art education of adults, more specifically on art education of adults at basic art schools in Prague and Central Bohemia. The thesis discusses the low frequency of exploiting of this kind of education and its reasons and presents suggestions to broaden education of adults at basic art schools. Theoretical part of the thesis defines leisure education of adults at the beginning and continues with definition of cultural and aesthetic education of adults, while it focuses on art and music education. The final chapter of theoretical part describes basic art schools and their associations. Statistical and other data connected to edult education at basic art schools in Prague and Central Bohemia are analysed in analytical part of the thesis. The research is completed with a questionnaire inquiry and is followed by suggestions for more frequent exploiting of adult education at basic art schools. This master's thesis maps the current state of Czech primary schools in the times when the standards defined in the document "Systém budování finanční gramotnosti na základních a středních školách" were implemented into RVP and subsequently into ŠVP as well. The theoretical part describes the issue of financial literacy and progress of the aforementioned implementation into RVP. The next chapter is focused on the first large survey of financial literacy PISA 2012 which was under the auspices of OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development). The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with analysis of learning materials which are available to help improve financial literacy. I used method of didactic test in my research and its methodology and analysis are described in another part of this thesis.

The topic of the thesis is the role of the teacher's assistant in inclusive education from the perspective of a teacher at elementary school. The aim is to find out how teachers perceive the position of teacher's assistant in the education of pupils with special educational needs. The theoretic part deals with basic and inclusive education, including relevant legislation, support measures, defining the position of teacher's assistant, his / her competences, job description and possibilities of cooperation with the class teacher. The empirical part analyzes interviews with class teachers who teach a pupil with special educational needs and thanks to they can cooperate with teacher assistants. Everything is complemented with findings from the observation of the activities of the teacher's assistant in the given class. At the end of the thesis, research questions are answered and some suggestions are defined. The research shows that the teacher's assistant is a necessary support in the classroom especially for pupils with mental disabilities.

The dissertation introduces the knowledge of the child's ontogenetic development in the early school age and at the beginning of pubescence in connection with a musical development. It also deals with the emotional importance of music in the child's personal development. The following part is devoted to music education at primary schools, their aims, historical context and the current position of music education in the Czech curriculum together with foreign influences. The third chapter focuses on the ongoing structure of music education given in the study programmes for the teaching qualification at the national pedagogical faculties in the Czech Republic. The research part scrutinizes the contemporary situation of music education at primary schools from teachers' point of view and with regards to their undergraduate training. The research concentrates on the experience of teachers who have undergone undergraduate training in the last decade. The aim is also to find out how the situation is perceived by university music lecturers who train future teachers. The questionnaire survey and interviews reveal problems in music education at the elementary schools and also in undergraduate training at pedagogical faculties.

Sweden is known as immigration country for a few decades already, but the number of immigrants has rapidly grown during the last years making Sweden one of the European countries with the greatest share of immigrants on total population. In opposite, Czechia is far behind traditional immigrant countries with its number of newcomers, but after joining the European Union, the country has transformed from emigrant to transit and later even to immigrant state with the greatest number of newcomers among Central European states. With immigration, the issue of new minorities and their relation with the majority of society have appeared. The policy of education plays a crucial role in this issue because it has the potential to form society and affect all generations including immigrants. This master's thesis focuses on the teaching of financial literacy at lower secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The main goal was to characterize and evaluate a selection of internet based programs that specialize in financial literacy in order to gain insight on how the users view the issue at hand and how they interact with these programs. The thesis employs a qualitative research method. The first section is devoted to the theoretical introduction to finance, its definition, characteristics and the components of financial literacy. A special focus was also put on the development of financial literacy in the Czech Republic and the main documents in which it is grounded. The need for implementation of financial literacy into secondary schools' curriculums was based on surveys about the level of financial literacy among students and public. This thesis is a comparative study, which compare two selected countries, Finland and the Czech Republic in the organization of basic education. The benchmark of equity has been chosen as a comparative criterion. This criterion was further divided into single indicators. The key indicator in this respect was the selectivity of educational systems. For this reason, the thesis presents especially the form and the extent of differentiation of students by each level of basic education in both chosen counties and try to find the number of children who are educated in them. The results of comparative analysis showed that five educational programs with different degree of quality exist in the Czech Republic, while there are only two types of schools in Finland. Finland has used the differentiation of pupils in schools, even in clases in much smaller scale in comparison with the Czech Republic. In Finland, there are no classes with extended teaching of some subjects. The next difference between selected countries is about the age when the students start to be selectived. The students are not differentionated before 16-years in Finland. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of gallery and museum educating. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical ones. The theoretical part, which is defined on the basis of the processing of professional resources, focuses on the connection of gallery and museum educating with the curricular documents of primary schools. A substantial part is devoted to the benefits of a three-phase educational model. Emphasis is then placed on the constructivist approach in teaching and the discursive field of art and its application in teaching. The practical part focuses on the verification of the three-phase model in practice. The results of the work are proposals and implementations of two educational programs and their interconnection with the expected outcomes according to the Framework Educational Program. This thesis is dealing with the way of verification of the fulfilment of expected outputs of primary education in the thematic unit of organic chemistry. Based on the gradual evaluation of the reform of the Czech educational system, requirements to formulate the outputs more specifically have emerged and led to the initiation of the primary education standards. In the theoretical section the need of the preparation of the standards for the natural science studies is justified, further the methodology of the illustrative tasks output for the thematic unit of organic chemistry is decribed. In the practical section the way of verification of suggested illustrative tasks is explained, as well as the evaluation of the results of the verification and resume of the comments of primary school teachers participating in the research. The conclusion presumably suggests the necessity of revision of the framing educational program (RVP) of primary education for the science subjects and also shows further work options in this sphere, namely creating other illustrative tasks.1

Title: Analysis of the observance of the objectives of school physical education at primary school graduates. Objectives: The main purpose of this work was to analyze the knowledges, skills and level of physical abilities and attitudes of the 9th year of primary school graduates pursuant to the proposed standards for physical education developed according to the modified RVP ZV. Methods: To collect and successive evaluation of the data was used a questionnaire survey. A total of one hundred and forty students were interviewed, where seventy students were from Písek and seventy students from České Budějovice. Further, their physical education teachers were interviewed. Results: The results of the analysis don't correspond to the expectation that the students have sufficient knowledge of the activities influencing their health and physical education skills. The theoretical part is divided into chapters which deal with the definition of mild mental disability and its classification, the description of pupils with mild mental disabilities in school age, the specific needs within the education of pupils with mild mental disabilities, the issue of integration, the valid legislature concerning these pupils and most importantly with the supporting measures which are provided for these pupils. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to find out which supporting measures are provided for pupils with mild mental disabilities in common primary schools and how are these measures put into practice. To gather the required information, the method of a semi-structured interview with selected teachers and the staff of school consulting centers has been used. To further specify the acquired data, the analysis of pupil documentation (mainly individual education plans) has been carried out. This diploma thesis is focused on primary education in India with own empirical case study of the village of Mulbeck in the region of Ladakh in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Author explored the role of education in the lives of local residents and the function of the Spring Dales Public School in the specific context of the local cultural and natural environment. Own field research was realized through the author's stay in the village as a volunteer placement organized by an NGO Brontosauři in the Himalayas that supports the Spring Dale Public School. The collection of data took place during July 2017. The author conducted 31 semi-structured interviews with various local agents who are directly or indirectly involved in the school functioning. The interviews were analyzed using qualitative research methods. The findings from interviews suggested that both the access and perceived importance of education has change significantly, while it is not only considered as a major factor of a quality employment but of the general development of Mulbeck. This is related to structural changes in employment with more people looking for a work in the tertiary sector. The number of immigrants has been increasing in the Czech Republic. Along with adult immigrants come also their children and this causes an increase of foreigners in Czech schools. In this diploma thesis it is examined, in what way Prague primary schools cope with the increase of children foreigners in their classrooms. Through interviews and questionnaire survey it is observed what opinions and beliefs are taken by representatives of primary schools in Prague on the issue of foreigners in education, whether they have any specific conceptions that focus on helping foreigners with integration into the Czech school system and at the same time into the majority society. Considering the fact that the process of integration is complicated and during the process a number of obstacles usually occur, it depends not only on the activities of each particular school, but also on the degree of support from the state, and on a child-foreigner himself and on his family, whether the process of integration will eventually be successful or not.
