The article is devoted to the main problems in overcoming the gaps in women’s rights and establishing the principle of equality of the sexes in Russia in the 19th and 20th century. Historically, the legal status of women in Russia covered only marriage, family and inheritance relations. However, during the period covered by this article, the legislator ensured the political rights of women and recognized women as independent subjects of public law. The problem of the legal status of women in Russia has recently acquired not only theoretical, but also practical significance. The study of this problem was carried out relying not only on scientific articles, but also on legal sources and historical documents, such as the Collection of laws and orders of the government of Saint-Petersburg, Decree of the Provisional Government of July 20 1917 etc. The author comes to the conclusion that the evolutionary path of women’s rights in Russia had its own identity, while taking into account the experience and legislative practice of other countries.

The subject of this study is the organization of the National Women's Council in Russia at the beginning of the XX century. The study was conducted using a gender approach in history (historical feminology). In addition, the problems under consideration were studied using the methods of source studies, mainly internal criticism of historical sources. The source base of the article was made up of both documentary (legislation and materials of women's congresses and organizations) and narrative sources. First of all, these are the documents of the A.I. Filosofov Foundation: draft charters of women's organizations, letters of petition, responses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and others. Of considerable interest is also the women's periodical press, which published reports and resolutions of women's congresses, memorable articles about representatives of the women's movement. The scientific novelty of the research lies both in the inclusion of new source complexes into scientific circulation, and in the reconstruction of the process of creating the All-Russian Women's Council, an organization that was seen as the coordinating center of the Russian women's movement. As a result of the analysis of sources and historiography, the authors came to the conclusion that at the beginning of the XX century the women's movement in Russia focused on the struggle for civil and political rights, for which it was necessary to unite the maximum possible number of women who aspired to equality. For this purpose, along with the creation of women's organizations and the publication of regular periodicals, women's congresses are beginning to be held. The First All-Russian Women's Congress for the first time raised the issue of creating a National Women's Council to unite all women's societies and organizations. Attempts to create the organization continued for 20 years, but were crowned with success only in 1917. However, Russian feminism has not been able to create an international organization. Despite the progressive nature of the activities of women's movement activists, the civil war in Russia interrupted the work of the organization.

Nuriyeva, Irada. „31 March Genocide Committed by the “Oppressed Armenian People” Against Azerbaijanis on the Way of Realizing the Dream of “Great Armenia”“. Metafizika Journal 7, Nr. 1 (15.03.2024): 132–47. http://dx.doi.org/10.33864/2617-751x.2024.v7.i1.132-147.

Annotation:
The policy of genocide carried out by Armenian nationalists against Azerbaijanis has a history of more than 200 years. The goal of this insidious policy was the expulsion of Azerbaijani people from their historical lands and the creation of a mythical state of “Great Armenia” in these territories. On March 31, 1918, under the leadership of the Dashnaktsutyun party with the help of the Red Army of Soviet Russia, the Azerbaijani population of Baku was subjected to genocide. The corpses of 57 Muslim women, whose ears and noses were cut off, and their bellies were torn open, were found in one of the neighborhoods in Baku. Armenians threw people alive into water wells, burning ovens, and oil wells, ripped apart pregnant women's bellies with bayonets, killed children with bayonets, nailed babies to walls, raped women, young girls, and old women. They hung men upside down by their legs, cut them in half with swords, crucified some of them on wooden beds, wrapped them in carpets and rugs and burned them alive, cut off people's hands and feet, and forced them to eat their own flesh under bayonets. Wild Armenian gangs burned Muslim clerics in the fire of bonfires lit from the Koran, the holy book of Islam. This was the true face of the Armenian nationalists who loudly shouted about “self-determination”, “autonomy” and “genocide”. The cruelty of Andranik, who made “necklaces” from children’s eyes, and other Armenians, knew no bounds. In March 1918, up to 20 thousand Azerbaijanians in Baku, and in 1917-1920 on the territory of Azerbaijan, more than 400 thousand Azerbaijani people were subjected to “genocide” by the Armenians. As the world ignores these atrocities, they are increasing.

Annotation:
The article considers the integrating context of scandalous and trendy literary collections Zemlya (20 books, 1908–1917) using gender optics. The theme of sex and gender, the philosophical reflection on femininity by the male authors of the collections are represented via the image of the “new” woman, which is central and forms the internal context. The analysis of the literary works is complemented by the examination of the reviews written by the critics of the Silver Age. The reevaluation of moral and religious values in the works of the authors of Zemlya (L. Andreyev, A. Kuprin, M. Artsybashev, V. Vinnichenko, N. Krasheninnikov, E. Chirikov) influenced by the ideas of V. Solovyov, F. Nietzsche, and K. Marx is reflected in the hyperbolization or subversion of the normative concepts of femininity: a woman is either idolized as the incarnation of the Eternal Feminine, the Virgin savior of the world, or is reduced to the position of a female predator, which is guided only by sexual instinct. Of particular interest are images of rebel women: “intelligent” prostitutes and revolutionary superwomen.
