Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe clinical category of "difficult" adolescents has become ubiquitous in public action in France since the early 2000s. In this thesis, we explore this success as a case-study for contemporary changes in the social treatment of youth deviancy. We use two sets of empirical data: genealogical analysis drawn from a documentary corpus and ethnographic fieldwork conducted in an inter-professional network designed to treat difficult adolescents. We produce a clinical anthropology of mental health, relying on a framework based upon social constructivism tempered with interactionism and pragmatism. The category of difficult adolescents is organised by clinical expertise on subjectivity, inspired b\ psychoanalysis while distancing itself from psychiatry. It allows professionals in charge of youth to define, publicise and solve an emerging problem: new uncertainties in the public management of violent and deviant youth. It depicts a residual, interstitial population, located between the various institutions treating youth deviancy. Such a margin is fostered by the specialisation of these institutions and by the poor coordination capacities of local authorities and policy makers. This category operates by an extreme biographical personalisation. It reassigns adolescents to a profile of institutional treatment and makes professional intervention: meaningful. It coordinates various institutions, while preserving their specialisation. It solves the anomic dilemma of vulnerability versus dangerousness, protection versus autonomy, and care versus control. This clinical expertise has a unique ability in building consensus, insuring a pervasive and coercive moral authority. However, the ethical and social stakes in the care-givers' trouble and the cultural and political relativity of violence fall beyond this clinical scope. Thus clinical expertise performs care, which is both an affective experience and an attitude, embodying contemporary forms of public action

Der volle Inhalt der Quelle@This research focuses on twenty-five adolescents who have been placed in a children's community home. The concept of narcissistic identity vulnerability is making operational with three notions of problematicy, systematicy and reactivity, in an essentially economic and psychodynamic perspective. They enable us to offer each adolescent an etiological, structural and risk diagnosis. We use a battery including: WAIS-R, Rorschach's projective test, Life Line and Genogram, the Family Test and its adaptation to an analysis of adolescents' representation of the institution. The results confirm the clinical interest of the concept of narcissistic identity vulnerability, particularly as we can integrate the physical, cognitive and behavioural dimensions, making it possible to take the complexity of the biopsychosocial functioning of the subject into account. The etiological, structural and risk diagnosis opens up interesting possibilities for clinical expertise as concerns juvenile offenders
Vasile, Jennifer. „Crise de l'autorité et processus de radicalisation chez des adolescents et post- adolescents en France“. Electronic Thesis or Diss., Bourgogne Franche-Comté, 2023. http://www.theses.fr/2023UBFCH041.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis doctoral thesis focuses on the psychological and identity trajectories of adolescents and post-adolescents affected by the phenomenon of radicalization. The main objective of this thesis is to refine and broaden our understanding of the complex dynamics and individual and collective vulnerabilities that underlie the phenomenon of radicalization among adolescents and post-adolescents. The research is based on a psychodynamic approach that seeks to explore both individual and contextual aspects, shedding light on the multidimensional complexity of radicalization. The research methodology integrates three distinct qualitative studies to gather diverse perspectives. All studies were conducted using semi-structured interviews. The first study includes a thematic analysis of the trajectories of young individuals affected by the radicalization phenomenon and their families' perspectives on it. The second study focuses on the thematic analysis of the discourse of professionals confronted with the phenomenon of radicalization in their daily work. This study aims to enhance the overall understanding of radicalization. The last study reports an in-depth case study analysis of the journey of a young individual affected by radicalization. This study allows a more precise exploration of the underlying psychological, social, and identity dynamics, providing insights into the unseen forces that can push an individual towards radical paths. The results of this research show a link between the crisis of authority and the phenomenon of radicalization. They highlight that the radicalization of adolescents and post-adolescents goes beyond mere adherence to an extreme ideology; it is also a revealing symptom of deep vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities are tied to societal, familial, and individual dynamics characterized by a symbolic deficiency and a crisis of authority. The findings emphasize the need to rethink the structures of authority, taking into account the impact of transgenerational traumas and prompting deep reflection on the potential influence of media in the alienation of young people. It is a call for empathy, ethics, humanity, dialogue, and a critical and constructive analysis of the unseen forces shaping young people's identification in our hypermodern society

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleMental health issues are common in adolescents and can have a lasting negative impact ontheir overall health. Several risk factors for depressive symptoms in this population are wellknown, such as being a girl or being bullied. School connectedness appears to be a protective factor in adolescents’ depressive symptoms. However, its positive impact among vulnerable groups remains unknown. This master’s thesis has three distinct objectives. The first one isto assess the influence of school connectedness on depressive symptoms among adolescents. The second is to see if its influence varies among vulnerable groups, such as girls, victims of bullying and those who combine these two vulnerabilities. The third is to examine the hypothetical relative impact whether public health interventions aimed at increasing school connectedness, eliminating bullying or eliminating the gender gap could achieve on significant depressive symptoms based on the associations found above. To answer these questions, datafrom COMPASS-Quebec’s 2017-2018 cohort of 17,367 students from 37 high schools in Eastern Quebec were used ( Chapter 1). The results suggest that the students’ reported school connectedness has a protective influence on their depressive symptoms and its influence appears evengreater among young people cumulating vulnerabilities, such as bullied girls. However, evenwith the highest school connectedness scores, this influence may not be sufficient in the mostat-risk students for depressive symptoms.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis study was completed in Hungary between 2014 and 2017. Hungary is considered a transit country for asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors. While the country's borders were strictly controlled during the communist era, asylum seekers began arriving in the country in the post-communist period and from the early 2000's, the number of asylum seekers has increased considerably. A parallel trend can be observed in the number of whom are hosted by Hungary. This research aims to identify how young refugees, most of whom arrived as accompanied minors, form their pathways of resilience in the difficult political context of Hungary. Trauma and resilience served as conceptual frameworks for this study, wich begins with a theoretical-clinical overview of aforementioned concepts. Thes are also challenged in the study. The author attempts to define the notion of resilience in the specific context of refuge. Given the fact that very little is known about the psychological wellbeing of young refugees in Hungary, this research qualifies as an exploratory study. For this reason, a Grounded Theory approach was use to gain data inductively from the analysis of 13 interviews, wich were completed with young refugees between the ages of 18 and 24. Furthermore, the study includes field studies and interviews completed with professionals working in the sector, as well as the summary of the participatory observation the autor took part in during the refugees crisis in Hungary [...]
Spriet, Andras. „Adolescents sujets à la précarité, à la violence et au danger; et psychothérapie institutionnelle“. Thesis, Sorbonne Paris Cité, 2017. http://www.theses.fr/2017USPCC078.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleOur study concerns the precariousness, danger and violence among adolescents in the Hatikva neighborhood, situated in the southern suburbs of Tel Aviv in Israel; and the care provided for these adolescents by the Beit Ham institution by means of institutional psychotherapy. Here, precariousness rules over the daily life of the adolescent, who is yet a child: here, the child and the adolescent are confronted with precariousness in the most basic of domains, be it that of nutrition, play, development, family and societal climate, protection, space, and relationships. It is thus this relation of basic, structuring, cross-signifying relation, between whole and part, between necessity and legitimacy, which Is lacking or which is too insufficient to allow the verbal exteriorization of the adolescent’s own speech and demands, and thereby constitute support and remedy. Hence, our difficulty: violence and danger among adolescents are linked to the precariousness of the relationships. So it is this basic ”relationship of connection” (J. Lacan), this structuring cross-signifying relation between an utterance and the act of uttering itself, between “signifying material” (J. Lacan) and sense, between the existing organisation and a non-operating presence. Which makes it that numerous adolescents and children are confronted with a matching difficulty between physical and social space, with a psychic and social vagrancy, and with a difficulty to draw on and to resort to external support in order to face the ever-present violence and danger in their living environment. But in this case, it is this “political space” (H. Arendt), this relational space, this “significance of participation” (L. Lavelle) that are to be seriously questioned; or this “decisive cultural step” (S. Freud). But the situation is a critical one because the potential danger is very high for many of these children and adolescents. It is thus politics that these adolescents are directly calling out to, along with us: either the reliability of this guarantee of a common space for all, the right to a housing project, the right to acceptance and protection; or these fundamental, non-negotiable politics for the presence of a child or an adolescent in the world, that is to say, in this relational space, this connective space – cross-signifying – basic and structuring. What about this political existence of an adolescent and a child, whose unawareness is taken as expression, when the political prejudice, the “symbolic misery” (P.-L. Assoun) that so many children are confronted with in this region, no longer allow for this existential solidarity between a presence in the world and in the physical space, relationship and structure, or even this basic cross-signifying relation between presence and participation, between unity and continuity?
Dris-Valette, Martine. „Recherche sur le raisonnement argumentatif chez l'adolescent“. Paris 5, 1989. http://www.theses.fr/1989PA05H050.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleWithin the framework of the study of written discourse, we have studied the development of argumentative discourse among 12 to 18 years old adolescents at shool. We have used the interest for detective novels and we have asked the subjects to explain why, among a list of clues, someone seemed more guilty than others. The objects of discourse i. E. The clues, the expression of logical relations and modalisation have been taken in account. They allow to evaluate each text as to the part of narration, description or argumentation. It appears that adolescents are not necessarily able to go beyond narration when setting up argumentative discourses ; but, when they have received specific teaching, and especially the youngest, they seem to argument more efficiently. In fact, most of their difficulties probably lay in the way they use and construct the significance of the objects of discourse

The author explores this as yet unexploited data on writing and creation in adolescence. Her research focuses on: -the economic dimension of writing and the blockages in adolescent subjectivization. -the bodily dimension and the meaning of the search for certain environnemental modes necessary to the adolescent for the act of writing. -the narcissistic dimension and the transformation of the destination of idealization and sublimation particulary evident in post-adolescence
Guay, Karianne. „Adaptation cognitive chez les adolescents ayant subi la maltraitance“. Doctoral thesis, Université Laval, 2021. http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11794/69030.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe developmental impacts of childhood maltreatment are widely documented in scientific literature. On the cognitive level, some children are found to be hypervigilant in regards to signals associated with a potential danger, which can lead to a privileged allocation of attention toward those stimuli. Such an attentional bias allows a quick threat detection in order to adapt oneself in an adverse environment. It can, in turn, unnecessarily capture attention in a security context. However, the actual state of knowledge remains limited regarding the manifestation of this phenomenon during the juvenile period more specifically. Therefore, the aim of the present thesis is to verify whether an attentional bias towards threatening stimuli persists among adolescents who have experienced maltreatment. 79 adolescents (48 girls) aged 12 to 17 are recruited in the Quebec City region to form a group of 39 youths who have a history of maltreatment and a comparative group of 40 teenage controls. They perform an attentional blink (AB) task which measure the correct identification of characteristics from target faces (T1 and T2) introduced into a rapid serial presentation of neutral faces. In line with the hypothesis that task-relevant threatening stimuli should have a facilitating effect on performance, a first empirical chapter shows that an angry T2, presented in a resource-constrained situation, appears to automatically redirect attention to the stimulus. This attentional capture effect then takes the form of a cognitive competence in the two groups of adolescents. On the other hand, a threatening expression that is not relevant to process - as when identifying the gender of an angry T1 is rather required - seems to divert attention from the other characteristics of this stimulus. Under these circumstances, attentional capture results in a cognitive difficulty that impedes the processing of the targeted information for all participants. The undifferentiated results between groups mainly point out the absence of attentional bias specific to participants exposed to maltreatment. A second empirical chapter thus proposes a quantitative approach allowing to test the existence of an attentional bias differently while deepening comprehension of the AB task data. Parameters based on the Signal Detection Theory reveal that adolescents of the maltreatment group are more likely to report having seen a T2 when it was in fact absent in comparison with the control group. Such a tendency is accompanied by a decision-making strategy of a more liberal nature than participants not exposed to maltreatment, which is effectively known to increase susceptibility to false alarm errors or the number of incidental detections. Nevertheless, these almost significant differences between groups remain independent of the negative valence of previously treated T1, thus confirming the absence of attentional bias among the adolescents who experienced maltreatment. This being, exploratory correlations with the psychiatric symptoms scales of the Child Behavior Checklist open up on some clinical elements to v consider with regard to the results, notably participants' level of impulsivity/inhibition. The thesis conclusions imply a possible extinction of the threat-related attentional bias observed among children with a history of maltreatment. Impacts of this discovery are integrated with knowledge about the maturation of cognitive and behavioral regulatory mechanisms during puberty. A processoriented evaluation approach is encouraged with a view of enhancing clinical benefits from experimental research.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis thesis articulates around a monograph. In a first time, the course that drove to research is exposed, followed by the methodological and theoretical reasons of the choice. It is about understanding the role of past and present pictures in the construction of the identity. The formulated hypothesis is that the construction of identity implies pore and more between immediate identification reference marks (relations neighnouring, family story, anecdotes) and the mediatized identification reference marks (tales, narrations, photos, movies), the vivid and resonant universes. What conscious and unconscious work can an individual produce in relation to these universes ? What joints take place with his own vivid and resonant mental productions ? These questions guide the survey made from the narration for a young man, Richard, descended of working families, in the Pays Haut lorrain (North East of France). The choice of the place and the individual rests on the established fact of a reference mark distress in this sector of industrial culture, immigration and social movments. The new generations tempt to rebuilt this inheritance by the slant of the movies and the audiovisual. The cartoon Goldorak marked his childhood, playing the role of an envelope allowing him to face the changes of adolescence and the separation of his parents. The grandmother's narrations, objects of the great grandfather contributed to the enrollment in the maternal lineage. He is taken in the father's quest, and his entrance in the paternal lineage occurs through the belonging to a gang. It's the writing of a movie script in which he is the character of Rambo that allows him to move away from this painful period of his life. Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe aim of this thesis is to study possible psychopathological features of amblyope adolescents put into care into homes. The study concerns the relationship between the researcher psychologist and the young amblyope and is treated at two level : an approach to the psychological behaviour of the adolescent put into care : a socioculturel approach. One conception : "the organic amblyopia", one concept : "adolescence", are delimited with reference to the last twenty years' theories. By regarding the amblyope's visual deficiency, not as a handicap but as a way of being, amblyopia is considered as " a certain way of seeing" and the amblyope adolescent as "a certain way of being". The development of this chain of thougt both documentary and bibvliographical analysis leads to the following hypothesis : "there is no specific psychopathology of the amblyope adolescent taken into care, due solely to amblyopia". This hypothesis is built up by use of a approach consisting of questionaries and interviews and is made more accurate by clinical study of several cases.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research both theoretical and experimental is an attempt to demonstrate particular relations between cognitive processes and analysis procedures of linguistic structures. Psychological activities of comprehension and metalinguistic analysis is the main subject of this work. Starting from the study of language acquisition in connection with psychological development according to the theories of Wallon, Piaget and Bruner, this research compares linguistic analyses of relative clause sentences with experimental results of genetic psycholinguistics concerning this structure. The first three experiments conducted at primary school level demonstrate the following results: total comprehension of relative sentences around the age of 11; from 6 to 15, the better understanding of right embedded "que" and self-embedded "qui" structures; around 11, the understanding of relative pronouns as connectives and anaphoric pronouns; the existence of specific psycholinguistic analytical strategies genetically organized in local relations around 9, in generalized relations from 11 onwards. Experiment IV of syntactical transformation appears to be quite difficult: 35% of subjects only at the age of 15 are able to produce all the correct transformations of the four different types of relative sentences. These results give evidence for belated acquisition of metalinguistic abilities. They suggest the analysis of complex linguistic structure is in relation with the great stages of psychological development. To conclude, an attempt is made to reformulate all the results according to major concepts of developmental psychology. The importance of child language study is then discussed in accordance to recent developments in social siences

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleObjectives-The consequence of Psychological Distress (PD) on brain function is poorly understood, though PD caused by adverse life events (ALE) is known to contribute to anxio-depressive vulnerability. Given the rising incidence of anxio-depressive disorders beginning in early adolescence, we investigated the influence of PD on frontal-limbic networks implicated in anxio-depressive pathophysiology, using a social threat paradigm, in 14-year-old adolescents. Method-Six hundred and eighty five 14-year-old adolescents with no psychiatric diagnosis were included in the study from the Imagen database of 2,223 young adolescents recruited in community schools. Participants underwent functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging while viewing angry and neutral faces. Lifetime PD and ALE were assessed using a life-event dimensional questionnaire. The correlations between lifetime PD and ALE scores and neural response during angry faces processing were investigated using SPM8. In an additional exploratory analysis, the relation between lifetime PD and ALE and the occurrence of anxio-depressive disorders two years after the inclusion was investigated. Results-Lifetime PD correlated positively with lateral orbitofrontal and insula responses during angry faces processing. Lifetime PD scores correlated with the probabilities of meeting Generalized Anxiety Disorder or Major Depressive Disorder criteria at follow-up. Conclusion-This is the first report of a relation between PD, a vulnerability factor for anxio-depressive disorders, and neural response related to social threat processing in regions implicated in self-awareness and emotional regulation in healthy adolescents

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleHow does the disabled-from-birth teenager faces the puberty upheaval and its unprecedented nature? How do his narcissistic bases, set up with the ell of the initial trauma, reorganize? As a clinical psychologist following handicaped teenagers and their families, I theorized a number of characteristic stakes. On one hand, the handicaped teenager elaborates various arrangements aiming at the resumption of a work on time congealed from birth. He positions in the chain of the generations in spite of an altered psychic transmission, and he parts from his parents although the links were inaugurated under traumatogenes auspices. On the other hand, the teenager carries out a work aiming at the seizure of his otherness; he accomodates into a " fourth dimension " which founds the feeling of existence of the individual, and the obstinacy of his identity. To do so, he has to articulate psychic and factual realities, without exclusively submitting himself to the threatening materialism of his infirmity. Therefore, the teenager faces the idea of destiny, and takes a stand on his handicap experienced either as a punishment to undergo, or an accident to overcome. He also relies on valid and/or handicaped peers to appropriate his difference. Finally in this process of subjectivation, he adopts singular drive positions concerning masochism and shame, and also uses the positions toward love as a privileged leverage of this appropriation. Recent developments in society, especially in the treatment of loss and destructivity help to explain the current increase of scarification among adolescents

Our first hypothesis claims that there are eight different types of decalages and generalisations which make up a developmental sequence. Our second hypothesis deals with the recursive nature of this succession during the development of cognitive activity. We will test these assumptions with the aid of an operational test constiting of a panel of a hundred subjects aged between five and fifteen years old. Our results seem to confirm the existence of a recursive succession of the first five types of decalages and generalisations

Starting from this, our thesis aims at the analysis of these problems examined under their various peculiar aspects: - in a first part, assuming the hypothesis that these subjects are utterly unable to present a true image of themselves nor a coherent and distinct one of other people, we have devoted our efforts to define the modalities of the ways they perceive their own self. - then, we have tried to analyse the relations they keep up with their closest immigrated friends, these latter included in the meaning of the word "we". -finally, taking into account their characteristic ambiguous relationships with their equals, french as well as moroccan, we have taken a special interest in the way they identify themselves to both

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe aim of this thesis is to give an account of the uneasiness of young adults who were seeking political asylum in France. Since their childhood, these young people have to deal with a certain numbers of traumatic, narcissistic experiences: a series of events which attest that they had to bear neglects, abandonments, break-ups and disappointments which are responsible for objectal and/or narcissistic losses which grief was problematic. They were confronted with the total collapse of infantile strength, in other words, an early loss of (imaginary or real) object: the problem of mother’s desertion. We can observe a few difficulties inherent to the process of individualization, characteristic of adolescence. They are likely to generate personalities similar to the affects considered as typical of pathological limit states and associated traumatic losses liable to provoke depressive symptoms

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleFor this research, we have made a double approach : comparative and clinical. On the whole, the results show an important link between a good self-valorization and the school success of the children (either divorced or united parents). However the divorce increases the difference of valorization between good and bad pupils. If they fail at school, the children of divorced parents declare a weak self-esteem, give depreciated self-images through the drawings of the family, and show difficulties to lead and succeed enterprises in the projective test dpi. These children valorize the mother more than the father. But if they succeed at school, the children of divorced parents show a good self-image and have also a valorized image of both parents. In conclusion, self-valorization and parental images are widely influenced by the school results, highly prised in our society. The child of divorced parents, is more vulnerable and if he fails at school he tends to feel more deeply the parents' unsatisfaction as a loss of love. That determines for much the self-valorization

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn the study of adolescence (12-18 years), particularly with regard to its pathological, behavioural, and relational aspects, as these can be observed in a psychiatric clinical practice, the "crisis" appears as a possible explanation of the phenomenon. A transdisciplinary, multifocal approach to this notion of "crisis", according to intrapsychical, interpersonal and transpersonal points of view makes it possible to move from concept to representation, and the process which arise leads to an exploration of the "framework" as a condition of emergence of the phenomenon. Is there any link between the two notions of "crisis" and "framework", and is there any model whereby these two notions can be seen into relationship ?. In an attempt to answer these questions, the reader is offered an inventory of the different therapeutical models which can be used to approach pathologies related to adolescence. It appears, from this inventory supported by some clinical observations, that questions about "transfer", "countertransfer", and "narcissism" are highly specific to therapeutical relationship with patients

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleRisk-taking behaviours of young people are issues that need to be addressed. Understanding their origins could prevent them from wide spreading. Consequently, this thesis focused on the psychological factors of vulnerability to alcohol use and subclinical eating disorders amongst young people. More specifically, we examined the influences of parental attachment, personality characteristics and alexithymia on these risk-taking behaviours through different models. Three studies have been carried out. The first one aimed to assess the role of the parental attachment and self-concept in alcohol use of adolescents (N = 245). The second one identified direct and indirect effects of parental attachment, personality characteristics and alexithymia on alcohol use and subclinical eating disorders amongst a sample of student athletes (N = 434). The third study emphasized the direct and indirect relationships between parental attachment, personality facets, alexithymia and subclinical eating disorders amongst a sample of elite athletes (N = 275). The findings provided evidence that risk-taking behaviours of young people were linked with an insecure parental attachment and difficulties in identifying and describing their feelings. Alcohol use was related to low conscientiousness whereas subclinical eating disorders were related to high neuroticism. Insecure parental attachment influenced alcohol use through its influence on conscientiousness and difficulties in identifying one’s feelings. Finally insecure attachment influenced subclinical eating disorders through high neuroticism, and specifically high impulsivity amongst elite athletes.Key words: alcohol use, subclinical eating disorders, parental attachment, alexithymia, personality factors, adolescents, student athletes, elite athletes

This thesis aims to understand the experience of bereaved teenagers who are in a resilience process. Interest for the animating question of this research was born out of a clinical experiment conducted in a palliative care unit. The on-site meeting of children and adolescents who were more often than not left to cope by themselves was the most important inspiration for this study, whose main objective is to give voice to the experience of youth in order for them to contribute as much in the elaboration of knowledge in the field, as in the transformation of professional social work practices. The study presents a description and interpretation of the story of six youth, each facing the death of a parent or a sibling, in an attempt to uncover the meaning of this experience in their lives. It examines the resilience trajectories of these youth, who continue to move forward with their lives despite the distress brought on by loss. Beyond looking at the experience of bereaved teenagers, the thesis proposes to explore their coping strategies and to identify the resources in their environment that contributed in supporting them during their grief. Using a qualitative perspective, it makes use of a biographical method inspired by the phenomenological approach. In light of the evidence gathered during individual interviews and group discussions, phenomenological self-narratives were written with the youth, giving shape to an initial formulation of the speech elements and both written and visual content constituting each individual narrative. It is thus with the narrative, an exemplary reflexive and interpretive activity in the context of intersubjectivity, that comprehension of the experience was refined over time. Evidence of both singular and common dimensions emerge from the narratives and their interpretation. To better understand his or her experience, each youth begins by reflecting on the context of the death of his/her family member. Constants are observed, notably in initial reactions: chock, disbelief, denial, guilt, and apprehension for the future. Youth also enumerate coping strategies, related sometimes to the loss of the loved one and sometimes to reconstructing their lives, opposite poles of their grief between which they constantly vacillate. In that respect, the narrative interpretation alternates distancing, calming, and finally, integration strategies. Youth also mention family, friends, school and professional resources that strengthened their journey, while also describing with remarkable openness, the obstacles that might have appeared. Examples of these include some harmful relationships where intimidation occurred with respect to the bereavement. Youth also know how to express their expectations of the resources around them, for example: a constant presence from their friends, generous gestures, or the need for specialized bereavement training for educational stakeholders or in clinical environments. Lastly, it is because of the strategies put in place and of the resources that support them that youth learn to get used to their new life as well as to their own vulnerability, and then engage in new paths, finding different ways of fulfilling themselves, recovering and reinventing themselves, thus being able to make the hardship a truly transformative experience. Their voice, to our greater benefit, leads to support strategies for youth and their loved ones suffering bereavement, and to tangible intervention possibilities, conducive to renewing perspective on the phenomenon.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis thesis consists of three parts and results from a study of juvenile delinquency and the question of the object. Based on the construction of the subject from childhood to adolescence, the first part shows that the impasses and blockages between one phase and another of the child's emotional development may unleash deviant behaviour in adolescence, moment of rupture with the child-type bond. The second part is centered on the question of the object : the object found in external reality will support the wagers of the psychic object, the construction of which, over the course of the child's life, is found to be inadequate in the delinquent adolescent. The third and last part is based on the two intersecting axes of this study : the questions of the subject and of the object. Regarding delinquent behaviour, the adolescent attempts both to prove an existence which he doubts and to test a primitive relationship with the object. The may be aggravated by both the investment in objects in external reality found in the discourse of the post-modern society, and by the responses offered to the question of delinquency. A clinical history of delinquency from childhood to adolescence illustrates certain arguments constructed in the text
