Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe discourse produced in a guided tour stems from different communicative modalities which include the visit assisted by a socio-technical device and the visit guided by an education and visitor service officer. These two modalities show common characteristics of a guided tour; they also offer significant differences. These differences allow us to compile a corpus divided according to its modalities of production and the languages: written text by professionals of the tourism sector, in French and in Spanish. Several issues arise such as the genre taxonomy of the discourse linked to the specific field studied, the unit of the text segmentation which has to free itself from the scriptural or oral feature of the text production, the textual categorisation and indexation of the studied genre. Indeed, the characterisation parameter value must introduce an essential prototype in order to categorise and index the texts of the studied genres. Therefore, as a sign of social praxis, this research suits the text linguistic and discourse analysis theoretical framework. In addition, the selected methodology enlarges this theoretical background to the post-Gricean linguistics of contribution which allows to define the contribution as the unit of textual segmentation. Furthermore, the quantitative analysis of a selected text compilation is rooted in the discourse analysis and corpus linguistic approaches. The method followed here, which introduces textual segmentation rules such as qualitative manual annotation and quantitative analysis suggests structural patterns of each considered genre. Beyond the notable interest of categorising new specialized discourses, this investigation introduces a new analytical method. On the one hand, the methodological framework is the source of a segmentation, annotation, and indexation software development. On the other hand, it is the source of an application development recommending new modalities of guided tours where the priority is given to the elaboration of the discourse

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleDrawing on a collaborative ethnographic research conducted between 2017 and 2019 with the Pekuakamiulnuatsh First Nation (Mashteuiatsh, Quebec, Canada), this doctoral thesis examines the processes and strategies for the promotion of nehlueun, the ancestral language of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh, in the context of Mashteuiatsh touristic activities. The aim of this sociolinguistic study is to explore, from a critical, ethnographic, and materialistic perspective, the socio-political, economic, ideological, and identity stakes of language value production within the realm of Indigenous tourism, connecting it with issues of colonialism and linguistic reclamation.Like other Indigenous peoples in Canada and beyond, the Pekuakamiulnuatsh began their journey towards self-determination and governmental autonomy in the 1970s, following the global movements for the recognition of indigenous rights. Engaged in a process of political recognition, the Pekuakamiulnuatsh have had to objectify the criteria establishing their identity as a distinct people, as well as position themselves as economic partners to interact with the State. In this context, nehlueun emerged in Pekuakamiulnuatsh political discourse as an identity symbol and a central tool in the First Nation's political and cultural affirmation, undergoing sustained collective mobilization for its reclamation since the mid-1980s. Parallel to this, the Pekuakamiulnuatsh have developed a touristic sector to demystify and share ilnu culture, thus asserting their cultural recognition through the economic market. By creating a space for the valorization of ilnu cultural resources, tourism in Mashteuiatsh has gradually evolved as an alternative site for the valorization of nehlueun for some community stakeholders, seeing it as a testament to identity and collective authenticity. This newfound inclusion of a locally-reclaimed indigenous language on the market sparks debates and presents challenges, reflecting both the tensions arising from the language's status and the position of certain (neo)speakers within the community, as well as tensions posed by economic market valuation logics, rooted in forms of commodification and perceptions of linguistic and cultural authenticity linked to nation-states.By analyzing the discourses and strategies of tourism and reclamation stakeholders, regional tourist associations, and tourists regarding the value of nehlueun, the analyses of this research account for the significance of raciolinguistic categorizations, cultural hegemony, and Eurocentric linguistic ideologies in the symbolic and economic (de)valorization processes of nehlueun. The analyses show that indigenous tourism actors negotiate both their autonomy and the value of their linguistic resources and identities in continuous dialogue – confrontation or alignment – with these ideologies. This research offers a contribution to the understanding of the coloniality of processes of linguistic (de)valorization as well as raciolinguistic dynamics in the realm of tourism, especially in Indigenous tourism, a field hitherto scarcely explored by sociolinguistics. It also lays the groundwork for considering the intricate implementation of a collaborative and decolonial ethnographic sociolinguistics and the sociolinguist's role within such a framework

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe purpose of this thesis is: (i) establish predictive maps on ore deposits, (ii) select a subset of descriptive features that effectively contribute to the building of these predictive maps, (iii) identify and interpret dependencies between the selected features, (iv) place the features into a hierarchy that indicates their importance. A real-life data of Geographical Information System provided by the French geological survey (BRGM) have been used in the accomplished experiments. In order to establish predictive maps, we have used neural network ensemble which is a very successful technique where outputs of a set of separately trained neural network are combined to form one unified prediction. This technique generates several predictive maps following the used aggregation function. In addition, to understand domain data, we have focused on selecting a subset of relevant features. We have proposed an improvement of existing features selection techniques that are based on the principle of Optimal Brain Damage (OBD) as well as those of Optimal Brain Surgeon (OBS) and Mutual Information (MI). We have also proposed novel solutions to understand data that combine ensemble feature selection approach with either concept lattices or statistic techniques. The latter solutions help discovering all relevant features and organizing them into hierarchy according to their concurrencies in the selected subsets of features. Moreover, we have addressed the problem of clustering-based analysis of data provided with multiple labels. The proposed approach uses new measures that extend the scope of the recall and precision measures in information retrieval (IR) to the processing of multi-label data. Experiments have been carried out on data pertaining to geographical information system and documentary system have highlighted the accuracy of our approach for knowledge extraction
Agabalian, Grigory. „Suffixation en -ISME et construction d'un sens valorisationnel“. Electronic Thesis or Diss., Université Paris Cité, 2019. http://www.theses.fr/2019UNIP5167.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis dissertation is a study of the valorizational sense constructed by the suffixation in -ISME in French. That sense consists in a valorization of what the base represents (for instance POPULISME has the valorizational sense 'valorization of what PEUPLE represents') and is essentially that of the nouns of doctrines, theories, religions, movements and some nouns of attitudes formed by the suffixation in -ISME. The aim of the dissertation is to offer a model of description for that sense. After having established some necessary theoretical bases and reviewed former research, I develop different hypotheses about the valorizational sense. Thus, I champion the following ideas: 1) the valorizational sense is constructed in a context of rivalry opposing what the base represents to something else, 2) the suffixation in -ISME allows to turn discourses into nouns, 3) the nouns with the valorizational sense don't form a semantic class, 4) two types of valorizational sense exist (modal and attitudinal), 5) the base can represent either the object or the agent of valorization and 5) any noun ending with the segment -isme can formally be interpreted with a valorizational sense
Henriquez, Jesus. „De l’anonymat à la valorisation des langues indigènes : Le cas de la langue Tol et de la culture Tolpan dans la Montagne de la Fleur au Honduras“. Thesis, Saint-Etienne, 2014. http://www.theses.fr/2014STET2198/document.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research develops within the linguistic community Tolpán in The Flower Mountain in Honduras. Its purpose is to describe the sociolinguistic situation by identifying signs of threat or danger to the Tol language, or conversely of vitality for the future of this language. For the last three years we have been involved in an investigation that through interviews and empirical observations has lead to the following results: Tol is a language that is still alive, the transmission mechanism is generational, representations of the speakers about their language are positive, Tol is regarded as a representative feature of their culture, which is organized around a strong living collective imagination. However, we have also identified some elements that do not sustained the perpetuation of this language: the invasion of its physical area by the Spanish language area, nonverbal behavior that paradoxically denies the discourse of tol speakers, and asymmetrical communication exchanges, among others. This picture evokes a situation of diglossia, where Tol language is Spanish- language dominated and the dominant language. We take responsibility to say that tol is seriously threatened despite some evidence in its favor in order to revitalize the language, some urgent measures could be taken: tol schooling, recognition to official status, and community integration of Tol as equal to other Honduran languages in the social, political, cultural and economic field as a whole. This study could have not been possible without the collaboration of the Tolpan mediators, the help of friends who in the area of their possibilities, and the love and passion they share for languages have lent a helping hand and to whom I gratefully thank
