The core of leadership consists of the influence the leader has over the workforce and the concept of power is to work as a propellant regarding his or hers influence. It thus applies that the leader utilise the power to influence the workforce to work towards the organisation's goals. For the leader to achieve the above and at the same time strive to retain proficient labour it is vital that he or she can enable organisational commitment among the employees. The aim of the study is therefore to analyse how a leader within a consulting firm uses his or her power in order to generate organisational commitment. The study is intended to convey a deep and thorough understanding regarding its aim, therefore we applied a case study design with a qualitative research strategy and a deductive approach. Furthermore, the study intends to examine a specific case company from which the study's primary data has been obtained through interviews with the company’s employees, the company's president and the owner. To be able to present the reader with a deeper understanding regarding the study’s problem discussion a theoretical framework, which addresses the study's main concepts and describes other relevant concepts appropriate to the subject has been developed. We could not based on the study’s conclusions distinguish between which powerbase that benefits which form of organisational commitment. However, it is clear that the case company applies two forms of power bases, knowledge - and the positioning base of power which, in the selected case company collectively promotes three forms of commitment, affective, normative and calculating commitment. Since the case company’s employees are comprised by a majority of men, it would be interesting if further research investigated whether the above-mentioned power bases promotes other forms of commitment in a consultancy with a majority of women employed.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleSätra is a district in Gävle municipality in Sweden, which was built during the Million Programme. When Sätra was built, many of the buildings were standardised for cost effectiveness. The district has today a bad reputation with crime problems and citizens who feel unsafe, particularly the women. The aim of this study is to find out if the standardization has negatively affected the perceived safety of Sätra’s female inhabitants. The objective is to bring forth a suggestion on how Sätra can improve the perceived safety of the area, and to create a design proposal on how these areas can improve through physical design. To accomplish this objective a multi method have been applied. The first method was site analysis on the study area, which of three were carried through two on during daytime and one during the evening. A survey was also sent out to habitants of Sätra to collect their opinions on the matter. They also had to answer how safe or unsafe they felt on different picked out places to analyse which components the unsafe areas have in common. This data was also used to make a heat map, and crime statistics data was collected from the police to make a heat map. These two heat maps were later compared. Lastly, a design proposal was brought forth. The response rate of the survey was 48 women out of 61 responses. Therefore, the survey does not completely represent what everyone of Sätra’s residents think. However, thanks to earlier research and the help of an expert in the subject the results could be validated. Factors that affect the perceived safety are lighting, sightlines, natural surveillance, reputation, image, maintenance, and human activity. Sätra has several factors that plays into the lack of perceived safety, but lighting, maintenance, sightlines, and a strengthened community is what is missing the most. Reputation is also an influential factor, which with the help of a strengthened image and stronger community in the district can improve the perceived safety. There are many different factors playing in to perceived safety and actual safety that are hard to answer in a bachelor thesis. However, the most evident conclusion to draw from this study is that Sätra Centrum and its neighbouring residential areas need maintenance, improved lighting, and a reinforced community and image.

Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med nio personer från olika yrkesområden inom den aktuella kommunen där alla upplevde sin fysiska och psykiska hälsa som mycket god. Fem kategorier framkom efter en kvalitativ forskningsansats, dessa var rikt socialt liv, god livsstil, stöd i familjen, goda arbetsvillkor och tidigare traumatisk upplevelse. Ett övergripande tema framkom vilket omfattade personlighetens betydelse och upplevelse av lycka samt att leva i nuet. Helheten som omfattade de intervjuades livsstil, deras personlighet och goda relationer samt att de trivdes med sig själva och hade en närvaro i nuet, trots svårigheter, gjorde att de kände sig lyckliga. Det skulle vara mycket intressant att genomföra en studie med inriktning på upplevelse av lycka.

It is the auditor that decides when an expertshould be included and how great of impact the experts work willhave on the audit. Meanwhile the auditor’s duty is to deliver qualityassured information to stakeholders and it is the auditor that willdecide when adequate audit quality is achieved. The question ishow the auditor experiences the influence on audit quality whenthey include experts in their work? Purpose: The purpose of the study is to explain how the auditors experiencethe influence on audit quality when they include experts in theirwork. Method: This study has mainly a quantitative method where surveys havebeen sent to auditors to obtain answers to the study’s purpose. Toget a deeper understanding of the experts work has a qualitativefeasibility study with interviews been conducted. Conclusion: Our results indicate that auditors feel that audit quality will behigher when the experts are used in the audit. The results from ourfirst regression model suggests that when the experts get moreleeway/influence auditors experience that audit the quality will behigher. Audit quality is also affected slightly by the extent towhich auditors are taking the help of experts. Accountants whotake the help of experts to a greater extent perceive that auditquality will be higher. The result from our second regression modelindicates that it’s only the expert's influence that leads to higheraudit quality. Our results indicate that, according to auditors isworth spending time and resources on experts when they contributeto higher quality audits.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleDuring 2020, Sweden's e-commerce has seen an increase in sales of almost 40percent since the previous year. The reason for can be derived from thepandemic. This leads to greater demands being placed on e-commerce not onlyin the capacity and handling of goods but also on the website's generaladaptation and their buying process. Something that can influence and helpmeet these requirements is user experience and user engagement. The purposeof this study was to investigate how it is possible to influence the commitmentof the user and thereby increase the user experience in e-commerce. Previousresearch shows that user experience and user engagement have a greaterimpact on e-commerce than previously thought. User engagement is a conceptthat has a high degree of interpretation and is today a phenomenon that is stilltrying to be defined. The concept itself is context-based and to identify thesefactors, the starting point has been a framework that was considered mostappropriate for this study. Survey methods used in this study were qualitativeinterviews with observations. These methods were considered suitable forfinding out the user's subjective views as well as the user's own experiences ofperceived commitment and its process. Three main concepts were chosen fromthe framework before the empirical data collection. These concepts aremotivation, enticement and influence. The concepts in turn had subcategoriesthat fall under the main concept. Under motivation; needs, flexibility and trustcould be identified as motivating factors that get the user involved. Underenticement; navigation, categorization and appearance could be identified asaesthetic factors that affect the user's involvement in e-commerce. Lastly,under influence; positive and negative experiences could be identified asinfluencing factors for the use of an e-commerce website. What the study canconclude is that motivation together with enticement and influence areconcepts that can contribute to an increased user engagement, which in turnaffects the user experience. It emerged that a good user experience is acontributing factor to an increased user engagement, but an increased userengagement does not have to indicate that a good user experience exists.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe purpose of our study is to investigate men's and women's experiences of their psychosocial work environment. To fulfil our purpose and our questions the following research question were formulated “Is there any difference between men and women's experience of stress, bullying, sexual harassment, social support, management support and autonomy in their work environment?” The study has been conducted via our web survey on social media, Facebook and LinkedIn. Our method has been of a quantitative nature and implemented with 112 respondents. To get as many answers as possible, we have shared the questionnaire publicly and via messenger with friends who could take part of it. The reason why this material is used in this study is that it can contribute to an understanding of the respondents' experience of stress, bullying, social support, manager support, sexual harassment, autonomy, influence and self-control, and to be able to compare differences between men and women in these aspects. The result showed that in some cases there are differences between men and women. However, the result showed that there were no significant gender differences. This suggests that further research should continue to investigate gender differences regarding stress, bullying, sexual harassment, social support, managerial support, autonomy, influence and self-control, since the result can be interpreted as being that generalizing conclusions in this regard cannot be drawn at this time.
