The work try to familiarize the users with information systems in contemporary business and show the greates weakness in the implementation of information systems in enterprises. The issue of implementation is addressed in the work from all sides and angles. First, the implementation process itself analyzed and its parts. The following are general methods applicable to software development and evaluated their use in the implementation process. In addition to the implementation process is part of the work given to the management. In the work is discusses how to look at the company's management can influence the implementation process. Another problem to be solved are the key factors influencing the course and success of implementation. In addition of these factors are mentioned the most important risks affecting various stages of implementation. Based on these risks are created by three specific scenarios which could arise in individual cases of emergency. Gradually, readers are drawn into the issue and during the actual implementation in real practice. The individual parts are reminded of the most significant weaknesses or places that none of the parties should not be underestimated. In addition to the actual weaknesses of the implementation process are discussed and two basic Casework across the entire spectrum of companies. At the conclusion of the implementation process is displayed in a graphic sketch, where the individual problems of implementation are shown in the very way the implementation process. The reader can better imagine the implementation process, including the sequence of steps. Complete implementation issue is addressed in the work of all views of interested parties. So your company owner will find thinking about the implementation, or project manager who deals with the issue. The work is based on the author's years of experience in information systems implementations themselves.

Podrobněji rozebírá historické formování EMU a institucionální rámec rozhodovacího procesu ECB, které zásadním způsobem ovlivňují preference členů Rady guvernérů ECB. Preference ECB jako celku jsou popsány pomocí Barrova-Gordonova modelu, preference jednotlivých členů Rady guvernérů ECB představují žádoucí úrokové sazby počítané pomocí Taylorova pravidla.

The theoretical background of this work is based on Schumpeter's theory of economic cycle and the rationalisation for state intervention in the market research, development and innovation. Consequently is described the general background, which is based on the Seventh Framework Program and the definitions contained in the Frascati manual, and the Oslo manual. The analytical part consists of a sub-analysis, which focus on legislative and institucional framework in the Czech Republic and the expenditure, human resources and outputs of research and development. The sub-analysis is supplemented by comparisons with the position of Finland and the European Union. Part of the analytical section is an overview of programs to support research, development and innovation activities. Subsequently, the entire analytical part is summarized with the SWOT analysis. In conclusion of this work are outlined possible solutions to streamline the existing system in the Czech Republic in research, development and innovation.

This thesis deals with a complex analysis and prediction of foreign exchange markets. It uses advanced artificial intelligence methods, namely neural networks and chaos theory. It introduces unconventional approaches and methods of each of these areas, compares them and uses on a real problem. The core of this thesis is a comparison of several prediction models based on completely different principles and underlying theories. The outcome is then a selection of the most appropriate prediction model called NAR + H. The model is evaluated according to several criteria, the pros and cons are discussed and approximate expected profitability and risk are calculated. All analytical, prediction and partial algorithms are implemented in Matlab development environment and form a unified library of all used functions and scripts. It also may be considered as a secondary main outcome of the thesis.

This diploma thesis named Current Technology Trends in Film Distribution and Their Development aims to provide a comprehensive overview of video, audio and other technologies currently used in film distribution. In the introductory chapter it summarizes the history of digitalization and its impact on the discussed technologies. The work then analyzes them from different perspectives: explains their technical principles, describes their evolution, focuses on their use from the perspective of filmmakers, producers, distributors and exhibitors, discusses their financial aspects and lastly focuses on their significance within home entertainment. In one chapter it also analyzes the use of discussed technologies in the Czech film industry. Finally the thesis reflects on the future of technology in cinematography and also determines directions that in the author's opinion cinematography will take from a technological point of view.

Practical part defines the economic and econometric models, both of which are used for quantification of the dependence of consumer loans on various macroeconomical indicators in the Czech Republic. This thesis describes the origins of film-noir genre, historical context of classic noir era as well as the influence of its film predecessors, emphasising the tradition of german expressionism. Each single aspect creating the characteristic film-noir look is analysed and described in detail, and illustrated using film stills containing such aspect. Following text summarises reasons and circumstances of the end of this classic era. The second part of my thesis is dedicated to the utilization of this noir aspects in later films all the way up to the present times. This master thesis, Analysis and Influences of Fundamental news on Gold Prices deals with macroeconomic variables that drive the price of gold. This paper is divided into three chapters: Possible investment forms in gold, Fundamental analysis of commodities, and lastly Analysis of impact of strong economies and their influence on gold prices. In the first chapter, emphasis is put on the Efficient Market Theory that plays an important role in success or failure of investment strategies such as technical and fundamental analysis. The second chapter illustrates the Commitment of Traders (COT) report and how it is used as a tool to predict the movement of gold prices. This chapter also discusses other large drivers effecting gold prices such as financial and geopolitical stability, inflation, interest rates, Central Banking operations, the value of the US dollar, and other influences. The final chapter analyzes the impact of announced fundamental news in the United States, China, and Europe on the price of gold. The empirical part of this paper analysis the impact of announced fundamental news in United States, China and Europe on gold prices. With the use of the linear regression method, we can test whether the macroeconomic variables significantly influence the return on gold investments immediately after their announcement, or over long periods of time. If this new public data was calculated into gold prices directly, investors would not be able to achieve additional returns by using fundamental analysis. The major findings are summed up at the end of the last chapter.

This brings important causes in the political dimension, were the anarchy at the global level translates into erosion of the role of state sovereignty and creation of world economy inefficiencies. Qualitatively new system of global governance, governance at multiple levels and a regulative sub-system emerge, which the World Trade Organisation is a main example of. To reach an effective solution, it is essential to introduce a reform. The central methodological bases are systems theory and neo-liberal internationalism of this analysis.

The aim of this thesis is to define nominal and real convergence within the area of the European Union and to assess its development on the example of the Czech and Slovak Republics. This dissertation is divided into three integrated sections. The theoretical part analyses basic economic concepts related to the issue of convergence and stability of joint economic units. The topics covered include the Maastricht criteria, their relevance, currentness and possible conflict between nominal and real convergence with the accession of new countries, then the theory of optimum currency area (OCA), theory of endogeneity and exogeneity and the linkage on fiscal policy and fiscal discipline in the environment of the European Union and the eurozone. Special attention is focused on the development of fiscal policy following from the establishment of the Stability and Growth Pact, including its reforms and recent changes in the form of the Euro Plus Pact and the Fiscal Convention. To satisfy the need for quantitative evaluation of given hypotheses, the second (empirical and analytical) part offers two self-constructed indices - the index of real convergence and fiscal discipline index. Based on these indices, relationship between the performance criteria of nominal and the real economy is monitored in the evaluated cohort. The last part of this work is dedicated to synthesis and application of findings from the previous sections upon which conclusions and recommendations for possible entry of the Czech Republic into the euro area are made.

This Thesis focuses on Insolvency. The work begins with determination of basic terms relevant to Insolvency. Further it describes the importance of Capital Structure and claims for company assets and the importance of debt financing. Financial analysis is important for the prediction of bankruptcy in the future. There are references to the basic methods of financial analysis, the most significant ratio indicators and some models for the prediciton of bankruptcy (Altman's Z-score, Neumaier's Index IN05, Kralicek's quick test). Theory Approach is an important microeconomic theory connected with insolvency. The next part of the work focuses on Theory Approach problems - relationships between the lender and the borrower (principal and agent), information asymmetry, soft and hard budget constraint. The work is also focused on a Czech bankruptcy legal form. It also references the purpose and goals of the bankruptcy law, rescue culture, development and the new Czech Bankruptcy Act and the insolvency process. The next part of the work investigates trends of insolvency in the USA , Europe and the Czech Republic in context of the world economic crisis. After that a case study follows. The goal of the case study is to describe the bankruptcy of a real Czech company and resume for the issues which were mentioned in the theoretical part of the Thesis. The company which is analysed in this case study is Oděvní podnik, a.s.. During the insolvency process, it used the new bankruptcy act-reorganization. The case study involves analysis of the causes of bankruptcy, financial analysis (the trends in balance sheet and profit and loss report, ratio indicators calculation and application of credibility and bankruptcy models) with the purpose of finding out if it was possible to predict the bankruptcy of Oděvní podnik, a.s.. The next part of the case study describes the insolvency processes which have run till this time with focus on the chosen problems of the Theory Approach.

The principal objective of research is to analyze the long-standing conflict and explore the possibility to apply one of the most famous political science's theories, the author of which is Dutch political scientist A. Lijphart, currently on situation in Northern Ireland. This conflict lasting for many decades culminated in the 60s of the last century accompanied by violent and bloody clashes between opposing groups. Actors led by British government tried to solve this situation through the introduction the principle of power-sharing. This research offers an analyses of this conflict and also his changes in time, but also different actors and transformation of their attitudes, which were the reason of the movement from violent and armed conflict to the peaceful solution. The thesis analyzes the possibilities of application of the fictional worlds theory as a possible basis for a different literary-theoretical approach to the study of literary texts. Not being a mere literature research, the thesis inquires into issues which are necessarily connected with the fictional worlds theory and which have been so far rarely dealt with, if discussed at all. It contributes to the discussion on advantages and drawbacks of the mimetic approach and of the fiction theory, it analyzes the possible applicability of the fictional worlds theory in literary history, it attempts to determine the correlation between the Seymour Chatman's textual types and the fiction theory nomenclature, and last but not least the thesis deals with the possibilities of this theory in the fictional worlds of lyrical poetry. This diploma thesis deals with a development of the socioeconomic cleavage in the party systems of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland in 2006 - 2012. At the beginning the theory of cleavages by S. Rokkan and S. M. Lipset and the enlargement to post-communist countries of Klaus von Beyme, are presented. There are also mentioned concepts of other authors. The thesis tries to answer a few questions. Firstly, what form did this line have in the monitored period (transformation line vs. classical socioeconomic line). Secondly, how big was an impact on the political right-left orientation of the political parties, and thirdly, how significant was this line for the party-political system of selected countries in this period. There is also a brief development of the party system after 1989 as well as the ideological profiles of parliamentary parties given in each chapter focused on particular country. One part of it deals also with the economic and social climate in the monitored period. Then the work is based mainly on the analysis of party's agenda, with an emphasis on the socioeconomic line.

In this thesis, the metastable states are studied. The work focuses on a theoretical model of one or two metastable states decaying into a continuum of states which is bounded from below. We examine the time evolution of such systems and how it is affected by the energy of the metastable state(s) and by the position of the poles of the scattering matrix in the complex plane. We also look closely at the spectral line shape. Numerical integration of a system of differential equations is used for solving the problem of the time evolution and spectral line shape while Freshbach-Fano projection operator formalism is used for finding the position of the poles. The results are compared with first order perturbation theory and with semi-analytical formula obtained from adiabatic elimination of the continuum. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to an application of the model on neon-helium-neon cluster. 1

In the beginning this thesis deals with the theory of the exchange rate, its quotations, significance of its economic effect and ultimately the parity rate of interest, which is divided into a covered and an uncovered interest parity. It is followed by the methodology, which includes formulas and procedures used to achieve the aim. The most important part is the practical part, which deals with the general presentation of selected countries (Czech Republic, Republic of Poland, Hungary, Republic of Croatia and Romania) in terms of significant macroeconomic indicators and also shows the development of the exchange rates and interest rates in those countries. Subsequently, the thesis focuses on the verification of the uncovered interest parity by means of a graphical analysis, a regression analysis and a paired t-test. In view of results of these methods the conclusion was reached, that the theory has not been proven. The last two chapters describe the differences between the results of the selected countries and the possible reasons for the failure of the uncovered interest rate parity.

This research is exploring the theory of Ken Wilber, Michael Washburn and Stanislav Grof also paying attention to the main disagreement among them regarding the confusion of prepersonal and transpersonal spheres of consciousness. This disagreement is further elaborated in an effort to find a conclusion and to seek for an integrative theory. The theories are compared with regard to the findings about psychedelic experience. The psychedelic experience is psychologically elaborated with emphasis on the current scientific knowledge in the field and their embedding in the context of the developmental theories of consciousness taking the effort of unravelling the pre/trans fallacy and the clinical implications into account. The aim of the thesis is to capture an evolution of views on advertising in economics in order to integrate the mentioned phenomenon into economic theory of consumption. Analyses of advertising emerge with the assumption of imperfect competition. Being potential fragments of advertising theory contributions in the field of interest are systematized in an individual chapter continued with a discussion on space and conditions that would enable an integration of advertising into economic theory of consumption. Based on Eichner criteria of scientific theory a comparison of neoclassical, institutional, post-Keynesian and behavioural attitudes to advertising is carried on. The attitudes differ according to ontology and epistemology that determine standard headings and consequently also potential integration of advertising. The integration seems to be acceptable only for mainstream (neoclassical) economics, hence it fulfils both fundamental and sufficient criteria of scientific theory, while for alternative economics preference evolution represents a difficulty that cannot fulfil coherency test, i. e. fundamental criteria of scientific theory.

This thesis aims at the development of the Czech asylum policy from the year 2000 to the year 2016. Asylum policy is an area that isn't in the center of the public concern for most of the time and only few actors take part in this policy. However, we can say that currently, because of the events such as the refugee crisis, the asylum policy is becoming a very ongoing topic and plays a crucial role in the public discourse. For this and other reason, in this thesis I am researching the development of asylum policy, explanation and description of changes that have happened. The development of asylum policy in the period is analyzed first the terms of practical changes, that are caused by the legislative or important events. This consists of the identification of particular periods, as well as their characteristic features. The analysis is also made in the theoretical perspective: Punctuated Equilibrium Theory (PET) and frame theory are used. The PET is suitable for explaining changes in the policy process, that can possibly occur after long periods of stability. Framing is an important feature of the PET. For the purpose of this thesis, framing is also used as a method of analysis of the negotiations in the parliamentary debates that concern the legislative of the asylum policy. The diploma work is focused on the development and analysis of plywood material reinforced by means of synthetic fibers, namely on its mechanical properties in a three – point bend in compliance with the CSN EN 310 Standard in comparison with the conventional plywood. At first, the mechanical properties of the material were simulated with the aid of a computer-aided model on the basis of the classical laminate theory and then compared to the real measured values. In addition to it, the influence of preloaded fibers on the mechanical properties of the composite was examined. To preload the fibers, two simple fixtures were manufactured. The analysis of variance and the Tukey’s test of multiple comparison demonstrated important differences in the resistance and rigidity of the plywood material both with the reinforcement and without it. The highest resistance proved the plywood samples without any reinforcement (at an average of 153.9 MPa), the highest rigidity was achieved in samples with reinforcement without any preloading (at an average of 29374.4 MPa).

The first part of this thesis sums up ideas, which the author had published in his essays. These ideas are mostly focused on the relationship between the class structure of current western societies and economic policy preferred by the governments. The next part is dedicated to Charles Wright Mills, his sociological method, his contribution to sociology of 50th as well as his heritage for current sociological thinking. Three idea streams, which can be used for supplementing Mills' point of view, are explained: public choice economy (mainly its version of Gordon Tullock), new class theory and theory of business innovation. New typology of business innovation is developed in this part. The core of this thesis consist in discussion of Mills' propositions about the growth of bureaucratic organizations, birth of white collars as a massive social class and its impact on social structure, economic development and political development of western societies.
