The purpose of this research was to explore the status quo campus involvement experiences of the students and their satisfaction with the campuses in a college in north Taiwan, to analyze the dissimilitude between campus involvement experiences and school satisfaction in different campuses with variant personal backgrounds, so as to explore the relationship between students campus involvement and school satisfaction in various campuses of a college of science and technology in north Taiwan. The data were collected by questionnaires, 1290 copies sent out, and the responded ratio was 91.11%, among which 946 copies were effectual. Working as the research instrument, the questionnaire on “The Campus Involvement Experiences of the Students of A College of Science and Technology and Their Satisfaction Towards the School” drawn up basing on related theories and researches was peered with experts validity analysis, using internal consistency validity to verify reliability, in addition to constructing validity with factor analysis. The questionnaire consisted of three parts – the first part is the personal background data; the second is the campus involvement experience, and the third school satisfaction. After using various statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, K. Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and stepwise selection, this research reaches the conclusions as below: 1.The campus involvement experience of the target students and their satisfaction with the school is graded medium. With regard to the campus involvement experience, the students throw themselves more into relationship than into academic studies or activity participation; while the students are most satisfied with the library facilities of the school, and least with living functions involved. As to the rating order of aspects in campus involvement experience, the results of main campus subjects are social integretion(first), academic involvement(second), acativity participation(third) and those of the branch campus are social integretion(first), activity participation (second), academic involvement (third). 2.Students of different backgrounds vary in their campus involvement experience and their satisfaction with the school. With regard to campus involvement experience, students living in dormitories or school club members share more in campus experience; and freshmen are better satisfied with the school attained than juniors are. 3.Students in different campuses or with dissimilar backgrounds differ in their campus involvement experience or satisfaction with the school attained. Male students of branch campuses throw themselves more into activities than female students of the main or branch campuses do; junior students of main or of branch campuses are more satisfied with the school than senior ones are; the students living in dormitories of the branch campuses are more pleased with the school than those non-lodging ones are; non-lodging students of branch campuses are more content than those of the main campuses with campus culture; branch campus students with part-time working experience are more pleased with campus culture than those without it. 4.This research reveals that there is a significant correlation between students campus involvement experience and their satisfaction with the school attained, and the social integration is the best predictor to the satisfaction, the percentage of predicting the variation of dependent variable is 28.6%. In the light of the above conclusions, it is highly expected that this research may invite further studies in the proper authorities and boost campus involvement of the students in different campuses as well as to enrich their satisfaction with the schools.
