Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThree major results can be drawn from this research : 1) the characteristics of technical objects depend of the mode by which they were designed and developed. Technology designed by a consortium will be different to equivalent technology designed by the firm alone. 2) The nature and the intensity of the competition are influenced by the characteristics of technical objects. Information and communication technologies in particular are subjected to increasing returns to adoption. It is necessary to manage the latter, in particular by choosing the right first users. 3) Strategic management of technology implies a precise description of technologies in competition. The research has led to the constitution of such a repertoire. Thanks to this description, the manager can determine the level of compatibility and substitutability of his technology. Enterprises can influence the qualification of there products and thereby influence the competition by competing in a field in which they have a strategic advantage

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleTo maintain durably an activity during twenty-three years doesn't act as itself but it takes to know how to model together : though and action, control and learning, stability and change. The elaboration of a strategy, by a SME, follows a process of its own that is adapted to its technological and organizationel capacities but it must also be connected to the opportunities seized by the manager.Based one's argument on the case study of a small cooperative cellar, we illustrate the elaboration process of a strategy. We retain the story line of the manager who served as chairman of the board of directors of the cooperative and also as managing director of this small firm. We shall see that this functional originality allowed the organization to combine innovation and sustainability on all fields of activity. This helped it to continue the development of its wine industry, in spite of the functional problems or the evolutions of his Market. To study "the innovation being made" has brought to the foreground one after the other the events-keys, which shaped the corporate policy led from 1988 to 2011, and allowed to highlight the role of the actors at the heart of the process of strategic Learning

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe work presented in this thesis aims to implement a fleet of robots to explore an open and crowded environment. The objective is to propose strategies allowing the robots to be autonomous in the calculation of decentralized policies and in the implementation of their tasks. The expected solution should allow each robot to act without being affected by any loss of communication. A set of points to visit should be allocated between the robots whenever it is necessary and communication is possible. As a first step, we proposed an architecture based on a topological representation of the environment to generate maps of low density. The aim is to reduce planification calculation costs by reducing the useful information and ensure that the assumptions respect the structural capacities of the robots in a real environment. The second contribution proposes an aproximate solution that helps in solving, during a mission, a problem that is similar to a stochastic traveling salesman. The solution is to decompose a multi-goal Markov decision process to overcome the limitation of the number of considered goals. Finally, distributing the resolution over several robots requires defining protocols to quickly allocate the set of goals. The proposed solution converges rapidly through successive simultaneous rounds of auctions based on an individual assessment of correlated preferences on the objectives. The experiments aim to evaluate statistically the quality of the solutions produced and the ability to deal, online, with problems of real size. These experiments are used to validate the proposed approaches in multi-robot frameworks
Belbachir, Assia. „A cooperative architecture for target localization using underwater vehicles“. Thesis, Toulouse, INPT, 2011. http://www.theses.fr/2011INPT0009/document.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThere is a growing research interest in Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), due to the need for increasing our knowledge about the deep sea and understanding the effects the human way of life has on it. This need has pushed the development of new technologies to design more efficient and more autonomous underwater vehicles. Autonomy refers, in the context of this thesis, to the “decisional autonomy”, i.e. the capability of taking decisions, in uncertain, varying and unknown environments. A more recent concern in AUV area is to consider a fleet of vehicles (AUV, ASV, etc). Indeed, multiple vehicles with heterogeneous capabilities have several advantages over a single vehicle system, and in particular the potential to accomplish tasks faster and better than a single vehicle. Underwater target localization using several AUVs (Autonomous Underwater Vehicles) is a challenging issue. A systematic and exhaustive coverage strategy is not efficient in term of exploration time: it can be improved by making the AUVs share their information and cooperate to optimize their motions. The contribution of this thesis is the definition of an architecture that integrates such a strategy that adapts each vehicle motions according to its and others’ sensory information. Communication points are required to make underwater vehicles exchange information : for that purpose the system involves one ASV (Autonomous Surface Vehicle), that helps the AUVs re-localize and exchange data, and two AUVs that adapt their strategy according to gathered information, while satisfying the associated communication constraints. Each AUV is endowed with a sensor that estimates its distance with respect to targets, and cooperates with others to explore an area with the help of an ASV. To provide the required autonomy to these vehicles, we build upon an existing system (T-REX) with additional components, which provides an embedded planning and execution control framework. Simulation results are carried out to evaluate the proposed architecture and adaptive exploration strategy

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleVehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) allow sharing different kinds of data between vehicles in a collaborative way. In this thesis, we are particularly interested in road safety applications, designed for the exchange of information on road traffic and conditions. This kind of applications have strict Quality of Service (QoS) requirements, as data must be routed thoroughly and without any delays so for assuring the timely delivery of useful information to the drivers. In this context, data routing must face several issues raised by the high mobility and dispersion of vehicles, inadequate or completely lacking infrastructure, a variable network density, network saturation due to the large of information to deliver, and the size of the geographical areas to cover. Indeed, the problem of data dissemination in VANETs is non-trivial, and several research challenges must be solved in order to provide an efficient, collaborative, and reliable support for road safety applications. Specifically, we will address the problem of collaborative data dissemination through the following three questions: “How to perform data dissemination?”, “When should we do it?”, and “What must be disseminated?” We have provided answers to these questions through the three contributions of this thesis. Our first contribution is an efficient dissemination strategy, specifically tailored to the importance of the exchanged information as well as its lifespan, which is able to avoid the intensive dissemination process that generates network congestion and data redundancy. We confirm our statements and validate the performance of our solution by modeling it using a discrete-time Markov chain, which demonstrates the number of necessary retransmissions for all concerned vehicles to receive information. Moreover, we performed extensive simulations that show a reduction of up to 90% of redundant messages with respect to message flooding dissemination strategies. Next, in order to further improve the road safety message dissemination process, we propose a communications channel access scheduler, which aims at reducing the number of collisions caused by IEEE 802.11p/1609.4 multi-channel synchronizations, and thus improving the data reception rate. We base our solution on the optimal stopping theory, which chooses the right moment to send information by balancing the channel occupancy rate, the data delivery efficiency, and the maximum deferment delay tolerated by the information. To this end, we formulate the optimal stopping theory through a Markov decision process (MDP). We show through simulation-based evaluations an improvement of the reception rate of up to 25% and a reduction of up to 47% of message losses. Finally, after being interested in the quantitative aspect of network performance, we centered our efforts on improving the reliability of the dissemination process, which is obtained by motivating vehicles to cooperate and evicting malicious vehicles from the process. To this end, we propose a trust model inspired on signaling games, which are a type of dynamic Bayesian games. Through the use of our model, equilibrium is achieved, thus resulting in a fast and low-cost vehicle self-selection process. We define the parameters of our trust model through a discrete-time Markov chain model. To the best of our knowledge, our solution is the only existing solution that tackles the negative effects introduced by the presence of both malicious and selfish vehicles in a VANET. We evaluated the performance of our solution by modeling it using a Markov chain, and a set of simulations. Our results show that up to 100% of malicious vehicles are evicted while keeping a high cooperation rate, thus achieving an improvement of 42% when compared to other similar solutions
Roux, Benoît. „The evolution of cooperatives : an organizational perspective“. Thesis, Lille 1, 2015. http://www.theses.fr/2015LIL12018.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleCooperatives are often considered as organizational alternatives to traditional firms. However, the relationship between the cooperative and its members tend to evolve so as to generate tensions. Our dissertation aims at explaining why this relationship evolves. Relying on transaction cost economics, we describe the cooperative relationship as stemming from the choice by the cooperative members to govern a transaction collectively. The cooperative as a full-fledge organization emerges as a consequence of this governance choice. Then, relying on the “old” institutionalism, we explain that this cooperative organization institutionalizes so much as to drift from its original goals. As a consequence it is concerned with its self-maintenance and needs to secure the governance choice of its members upon which it relies to exist. It does so by leveraging the characteristics of the members’ transaction’s governance. We empirically confront our theoretical address studying two embedded cases: an agricultural cooperative and a retailer cooperative. Relying on the thematic analysis of 57 interviews, we confirm our theoretical propositions and argue the governance of the cooperative members’ transaction evolves because of the institutional drift of the cooperative. The consequences of this drift are strategic to the cooperative members. A number of contributions are derived from our theoretical and empirical address both in the literature on cooperatives and the literature on the analysis of institutions
