Foot length and breadth are generally used to determine the correct shoe size. An important question is whether foot length and foot breadth are dependent upon body posture. Therefore, the effect of leaning forward/backward on foot length and breadth is investigated in this study. Seven subjects participated in the experiment in three standing postures; neutral (N), leaning forward (F) en leaning backward (B). The foot pressure was determined and the feet were scanned using a 3D-whole body scanner. Foot length and foot breadth were determined from the scans of the right foot. The centre of gravity (COG) was calculated from the pressure distribution and showed that the COG moved 11 cm forward in posture F and 8 cm backward in posture B. No difference existed between foot length and breadth between the three postures. Thus, it does seem important to standardize the standing posture to determine foot length and breadth reliably. The 3D scans showed some differences in foot shape, however. In position F the forefoot was rotated inwards as compared to B.

Prinášame informáciu o tvorbe novej metódy vývinovej diagnostiky (S-PMV) určenej pre pediatrov, ale aj odborníkov, ktorí pracujú v oblasti včasnej diagnostiky detí do 3 rokov. Ide o pôvodnú slovenskú metódu, ktorá vzniká na základe potreby aktualizovať a štandardizovať postupy vyšetrení na odhaľovanie rizika oneskoreného vývinu a vývinových porúch. Metóda pozostáva zo súboru dotazníkov určených na vyplnenie rodičmi, ktorých položky prešli viacstupňovým výberom a boli konfrontované s anamnézou a s posúdením dieťaťa pediatrom. S-PMV bol overovaný na vzorke 2710 detí, ktorú sme získali v spolupráci so 45 pediatrami v rámci celého Slovenska. The contribution provides information about creating a new method of developmental diagnostics (S-PMV) designed for pediatricians, as well as professionals working in the field of early diagnostics of children under 3 years. This is the original Slovak method which arises from the need to update and standardize procedures for examinations to detect the risk of delayed development and developmental disorders. The method consists of a set of questionnaires designed to be filled by parents, whose items have gone through a multi-stage selection and were confronted with a history and with assessment of a child by pediatrician. S-PMV was tested on a sample of 2,710 children, which we acquired in cooperation with 45 pediatricians within Slovakia.

Visoko obrazovanje važan je segment pripreme za tržište rada svih studenata koji upisujući pojedini fakultet žele steći potrebnu edukaciju za rad u odabranom području. Zemlje Europske Unije, pa tako i Hrvatska, ulažu u razvoj visokog obrazovanja kroz različite operativne programe koji pridonose dostupnosti obrazovanja za sve kategorije građana. Otvorenost visokog obrazovanja svakom članu društva temelj je inkluzivne obrazovne politike Europske Unije. Obrazovne politike postaju područje interesa cijele europske zajednice jer se društvo znanja vidi kao temelj gospodarske konkurentnosti Europe na globalnom tržištu. Cilj je rada ispitati kako stručnjaci koji rade u službama podrške za studente s invaliditetom doživljavaju poštovanje prava na visoko obrazovanje studenata s invaliditetom na Sveučilištu u Zagrebu. Riječ je o kvalitativnom istraživanju provedenom u 2019. godini putem polustrukturiranih intervjua, dok su podaci obrađeni primjenom tematske analize. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 10 stručnjaka koji rade u službama podrške za studente s invaliditetom na Sveučilištu u Zagrebu. Rezultati ukazuju na pozitivne primjere poštovanja prava na visoko obrazovanje, ali identificiraju i postojeće slabe točke koje je potrebno unaprijediti u skladu sa suvremenim postavkama inkluzivnog europskog društva. Promjene u budućnosti potrebne su u područjima standardizacije asistencije i prijevoza, prilagodbe infrastrukture, redovite edukacije nastavnog osoblja, senzibilizacije studenata te u razvoju ljudskih resursa u uredima za studente s invaliditetom.

In the current context of globalisation and development of international investment market along with increasing influence of European Union legislation and activities of professional organisations, there is an urgent need for standardisation and harmonisation of not only valuation procedures but also individual terms, definitions, approaches, methods and requirements for the qualification of valuers. This takes on special importance particularly in the field of real property valuation and market value („the usual price“ according to Czech law) assessment. At present there are three large international organisations contributing significantly to the development of this process through the development of their standards. The main objective of this thesis is standardisation and harmonisation of expert valuation procedure in establishing real property market value (the usual price), particularly in view of international valuation standards, namely IVS, EVS and the Red Book. To achieve this main goal it was necessary to clarify at first several related issues, as proper understanding of the background and context in particular is always an indispensable basis for successful harmonization process. The result of this work is thus both the design of a standard and harmonised procedure carried out by a qualified valuer in establishing the market value (the usual price), and the clarification of related issues, terms, definitions, methods and valuation approaches used in the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as the requirements imposed on the resulting report, etc.. The knowledge and information from this work will thus contribute to the development of the field of forensic engineering both in terms of theory, practice and teaching.

This PhD thesis analyzes the current situation in appraisals of technical infrastructure easements created by the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic in the process of transport infrastructure development. The thesis explains the basic concepts, identifies the relevant legisla-tion and examines the appraising methods used for these easements as described in the literature. It then discusses and critically assesses, based on existing legislation and best practices, the indi-vidual appraising approaches used in expert opinions prepared for the Road and Motorway Di-rectorate of the Czech Republic. Drawing on this assessment, it makes recommendations for a standardized approach for establishing the fair market value of easements and demonstrates its application on a model example.

The article is focused on the definitions of brick masonry expert assessment and brick masonry buildings assessment methodologies. The expert diagnostic procedures include building diagnostics, defects determination, static ensuring and so on. It is also necessary to choose the proper procedure of defects measurement and remediation. It is very important not to neglect the determination of costs. One of the methods that can greatly help in the process of assessing the condition of buildings is the brick masonry defects and faults monitoring with an emphasis on long-term measurements of the cracks shifts of various origin. Cracks are one of the most common disorders appearing in brick masonry buildings. In the article I compare and evaluate monitoring of the most significant cracks appearing during the excavation of Královopolský tunnel situated under Dobrovského street in Brno, where some depressions and inclinations of existing buildings had happened, as well as st. Gothard church in Brno Modřice and some masonry school building in Brno. In these selected cases the methodology of brick masonry expert assessment was verified.

This thesis if focused on performance, especially load testing of information systems. In the first part is defined software quality and reader is provided by fundamentals of software testing. Process of sofware testing is well described here. The rest of the paper is oriented on perfomance testing and it's processes and attributes. Specified are goals and principles of performance testing as well as types of performance tests and their purpose. Defined is load testing methodology including metrics for reliability and efficiency of information systems. Metrics are derived from well known international ISO standard 9126 - Software quality model. Methodology and metrics are validated during load test project on which author of this work participated. One chapter is also devoted to the tools used for load testing automatization. This paper is focused on the testing experts as well as on the other readers who want to acquire information on load testing, software efficiency or generally on testing of software quality.
