The aim of the thesis is to analyse in a society has, the introduction of INMEX quality management system according to ISO standards and to suggest possible approaches to improve the position of the company on the market has INMEX. The work is divided into two main parts. In the first part of the work deals with the conditions for doing business in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to establish a methodology of work and clarify with the help of literature theoretical background on the basis of this work was developed. Here is explained the very concept of quality management, the individual stages of its introduction and strategic analysis tool. In the second part of the work are given essential information about the company, a description of the situation in the company and, consequently, an analysis was made of the current situation of the company has strategic analyses, INMEX. Based on these results and the analyses of strategic research is built by the SWOT analysis. In the end it was described how to download ISO standards in society and what are the INMEX has positives and negatives for the company. The work suggests the possibility of differentiation of society, which should lead to an increase in the competitiveness of the company. If the implementation of this strategy should be to increase the satisfaction of customers as owners of the company.

The subject of my diploma thesis is the preparation of the organization KOPY TRUCK s. r. o. to the re-certification ISO 9001. The thesis analyses the fulfilment of requirements of the quality management system in the place, identifies strengths and weaknesses in the system and makes recommendations. The main aim of my thesis is the suggestion of applicable and real solution of shortcomings which will lead to the constant improvement. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter defines the subject of quality and introduces the development of quality management systems to the present. The second chapter informs about the technical standardization, ISO 9000 and the requirements of ISO 9001:2009. The structure of the standard is reflected in the practical part of the thesis. The third chapter presents information about the organization KOPY TRUCK s. r. o. and analyses strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats through the SWOT analysis. The following chapter evaluates and discusses about the fulfilment of the requirements of ISO 9001 in the organization. At the end of the individual articles of standards there are presented changes, recommendations and implemented solutions. The last chapter summarizes the compliance of standards in the organization and identifies the main benefits of the thesis. After the review of the requirements of ISO 9001, there was found that the company meets the requirements. These recommendations will help to develop a quality management system and contribute to the improvement of the company.

Museums are service-oriented information systems that provide access to information bearing materials contained in the museum's collections. Within museum environments, the primary vehicle for quality assurance and public accountability is the accreditation process of the American Association of Museums (AAM). Norbert Wiener founded the field of cybernetics, employing concepts of information feedback as a mechanism for system modification and control. W. Edwards Deming applied Wiener's principles to management theory, initiating the wave of change in manufacturing industries from production-driven to quality-driven systems. Today, the principles are embodied in the ISO 9000 International Standards for quality management systems (QMS), a globally-recognized set of standards, widely employed as a vehicle of quality management in manufacturing and service industries. The International Organization for Standardization defined a process for QMS registration against ISO 9001 that is similar in purpose to accreditation. This study's goals were to determine the degree of correspondence between elements of ISO 9001 and quality-related activities within museum environments, and to ascertain the relevance of ISO 9001-2000 as a technique of museum evaluation, parallel to accreditation. A content analysis compared museum activities to requirements specified in the ISO 9001-2000 International Standard. The study examined museum environment surrogates which consisted of (a) web sites of nine museum studies programs in the United States and (b) web sites of two museum professional associations, the AAM and the International Council of Museums (ICOM). Data items consisted of terms and phrases from the web sites and the associated context of each item. Affinity grouping of the data produced high degrees of correspondence to the categories and functional subcategories of ISO 9001. Many quality-related activities were found at the operational levels of museum environments, although not integrated as a QMS. If activities were unified as a QMS, the ISO 9001 Standard has potential for application as an evaluative technique in museum environments.

A preocupação com a qualidade e normalização dos serviços de saúde é cada vez maior, verificando-se que, para responder às progressivas exigências dos utentes, aparecem entidades que criam normas universais, as quais pretendem a garantia da qualidade nos serviços de saúde. Contudo, a implementação de um sistema de gestão da qualidade, através da norma ISO 9001, nestas organizações, é um desafio pela dificuldade de avaliação da qualidade dos serviços prestados- cuidados de saúde. Estando presente num hospital profissional como médicos, enfermeiros e gestores, com características culturais que influenciam a forma de encarar a qualidade e a sua monitorização para a existência de uma mudança profunda, quando se implementa uma política de qualidade, é fundamental conhecer a definição da qualidade de cada profissional, membro de uma cultura e, deste modo, a sua postura perante o fenómeno. O presente trabalho tem como objectivos identificar a percepção dos enfermeiros do Hospital Cuf Infante-Santo, relativamente ao sistema de gestão da qualidade, segundo a norma ISO, e, consequentemente, investigar pontos fortes, pontos fracos, ameaças e oportunidades da implementação dessa norma nessa organização hospitalar. Para atingir os objectivos, foi desenvolvido um modelo de análise, onde se considera o relacionamento entre as características da qualidade em saúde, cultura organizacional hospitalar e do sistema da norma ISO, para o desenvolvimento da melhoria contínua na organização. Os dados, para a elaboração desta dissertação, foram recolhidos através de inquérito por questionários aos enfermeiros do Hospital Cuf Infante-Santo, que se encontravam a laborar na organização aquando da implementação da norma ISO, sendo utilizado o método quantitativo e técnicas do estudo qualitativo na análise de dados orientados para o significado das acções. Do trabalho desenvolvido, conclui-se que a percepção relativamente às alterações na qualidade dos cuidados está limitada pelo facto de a maioria dos respondentes não conhecer o sistema de qualidade (Norma ISO 9001), sendo este um dos pontos fracos para a implementação da norma ISO na organização. Deste modo, a situação diagnosticada constitui um alerta para as organizações de saúde, ao implementarem sistemas de gestão da qualidade, potencializarem os pontos fortes identificados, como a orientação dos enfermeiros para o cuidar e para o cliente e, por outro lado, evitar repetir pontos fracos, como o identificado anteriormente, através do envolvimento e formação dos seus colaboradores nas políticas da qualidade. Os enfermeiros preocupam-se com a qualidade, mas referem que não a monitorizam regularmente. Pelo que, esta necessidade com a implementação do sistema de gestão da qualidade, deverá ser corrigida, de modo a que a organização de saúde em estudo caminhe para a excelência. ABSTRACT: The concern with the quality and standardization of health services is increasing, verifying that to respond to the progressiva demands of the users, there appear entities wishing to create universal standards to ensure the quality in health services. However, implementing a quality management service, through ISO 9001 standard, in these organizations, it is a challenge by the difficulties of evaluation in the quality of the provided services - health care. Being present in a hospital professionals such as doctors, nurses and managers, with cultural characteristics that influence the way and method of facing the quality and its monitoring for the existence of a profound change, when a quality policy is implemented, it is fundamental to know the definition of the quality of each and ever professional, member of a culture, and in this way, their posture towards the phenomenon. This present study aims to identify the perceptions of nurses at the Infante-Santo CUF Hospital, relatively to the quality management system, according to the ISO standard, and consequently, investigating strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of the implementation of this standard in that hospital organization. To achieve these aims or objectives, an analysis model was developed, which considers the relationship between the characteristics of the quality of health, hospital organizational culture and the ISO standard system, for the further development of the continuous improvement in the organization. The data for the elaboration of this dissertation was collected through questionnaire surveys done to the nurses at Infante-Santo CUF Hospital, who were working in the organization during the ISO standard implementation, being used the quantity method and techniques of the quality study in the analysis of data orientated to the meaning of actions. The developed research concluded that the perception related to the alterations in the quality of the care is limited by the majority of respondents not knowing the quality system (ISO 9001 standard), being this one of the weaknesses to the implementation of the ISO standard in the organization. Therefore, the diagnosed situation constituted a warning to the health organizations, to implement quality management systems, potentially the identified strengths, such as the orientation of the nurses to the care and to the client, and on the other hand, avoiding the repetition of weaknesses, as previously identified, through the involvement and training of its employees in the quality policies. The nurses are concerned about the quality but they refer that there is no regular monitoring. Thus, this necessity of the implementation of the quality and management system should be corrected, so that the health organization being studied should proceed to excellence.

The goal of my Master's thesis is to evaluate which requirements of the certification standard ČSN EN ISO 9001:2008 and of the quality legislation the organization Alois Hynek meets. The other goal is to create a documentation which is required by the standard ČSN EN ISO 9001:2008 and to suggest which steps need to be taken to meet all of ČSN EN ISO 9001:2008 and legislation requirements. The Master's thesis is divided into two parts -- the theoretical one and the practical one. In the theoretical part I define the term quality and I list approaches of management of quality and laws applicable in quality. In the practical part I mention basic information about the organization Alois Hynek -- its history, products and organizational structure -- and I analyze which requirements of the standard ČSN EN ISO 9001:2008 and of legislation the organization meets and which areas have to be improved. In cases where the organization doesn't meet the requirements I suggest a solution. Documentation required by ČSN EN ISO 9001:2008 is in the attachment of my Master's thesis.

Denna studie är en slutlig undersökning av ett examensarbete som skrevs under hösten 2017 på Mälardalens högskola av två ingenjörsstudenter. Studien berör hur ett fallföretag i framtiden ska kunna genomföra en ISO-certifiering, vilket kommer att ge byggstenar till företaget för hur en implementering skulle kunna genomföras. Med hjälp av ISO-standardens sju grundprinciper – kundfokus, ledarskap, medarbetarnas engagemang, processinriktning, förbättring, faktabaserade beslut och relationshantering – ger det företaget en stabil grund att stå på, samt förutsättningar för att kunna införa ett kvalitetsledningssystem. Studien kommer att besvara problemformuleringen ”Att definiera glappet mellan ISO-standarden och fallföretaget.” Problemformulering är alldeles för övergripande för studiens tidsram och innefattar för stort arbete och har därför delats in i två mindre frågeställningar: 1. Vilka utmaningar ställs små och medelstora företag, såsom Husmuttern, inför vid en implementering av ISO 9001? 2. Hur kan små och medelstora företag hantera utmaningarna att bli ISO-certifierade? Informationen till studien har funnits med hjälp av en litteraturstudie och intervjuer för att få fram de byggstenar fallföretaget behöver inför deras framtida implementering. Litteraturstudien har bland annat bestått av artiklar, böcker och den internationella, officiella standarden ISO 9001:2015 för en ISO-certifiering. Intervjuerna har kvalitativt genomförts med semistrukturerade frågor tillsammans med fallföretagets VD, samt med VD:n på Mektig Technology Group. För att kunna genomföra studien användes en rekommenderad arbetsprocess på fyra steg från handboken ISO 9001 för små och medelstora företag (Bowin, 2002). Studiens teori har tillsammans med fallföretagets nulägesanalys sammanfattats i bland annat den fortsatta rekommendationen att fallföretaget ska påbörja en dokumentation av alla deras arbetsprocesser och policys inom företaget. Ytterligare rekommendationer består av att fallföretaget tar hjälp av extern hjälp, såsom utbildningar och kurser. Extra viktigt, som studien kommit fram till är att en implementering av en ISO-certifiering bör vara väl genomtänkt och planerat då det är både tidskrävande och kostsamt för ett företag att genomföra. En ISO-certifiering är väldigt tidskrävande och därför har endast denna studie kommit med underlag för hur fallföretaget skulle kunna genomföra en ISO-certifiering. Eftersom detta endast är ett underlag behöver fortsatta studier och rekommendationer, som nämnts ovan, genomföras.

Cette recherche s’inscrit dans l’approche évolutionniste de la firme. A travers ses deux parties, conceptuelle et empirique, nous tentons de combler une lacune dans la littérature consacrée à la mise en œuvre des exigences de la norme ISO 9001, à travers les questions suivantes : la norme est-elle un outil de gestion qui a pour objectifs stratégiques, la conformation des pratiques opérationnelles aux exigences introduites (fonction exploitation des bonnes pratiques/standardisation), et l’exploration de nouvelles connaissances et opportunités (fonction d’innovation)? Quelles sont les pratiques d’appropriation de ses exigences adoptées par les gestionnaires qualité pour orienter leur valeur appropriative vers l’une ou l’autre stratégie ? Quelles sont les perturbations qui émergent dans les systèmes d’activités des gestionnaires suite à l’application de nouvelles règles de travail ? Quels sont les apprentissages et les innovations induites par la mise en œuvre des exigences dans les activités des acteurs ?Afin de répondre à ces questions, nous analysons la norme sous le prisme des éléments qui structurent et dynamisent les outils de gestion : un artefact formé par des connaissances expertes scientifiques et techniques encodées sous forme d’exigences à appliquer ; une philosophie gestionnaire qui interprète et instrumentalise ces exigences par des pratiques de management de la qualité ; et une vision réductrice des connaissances pratiques et relationnelles, nécessaires au changement et évolution des routines dans l’entreprise. A travers le modèle du système d’activité - qui soutient que la connaissance évolue constamment dans la pratique - nous avons mené notre étude empirique auprès de douze gestionnaires qualité des entreprises du secteur agro-alimentaire.Nos résultats montrent que les pratiques d’appropriation de la norme, ont une double fonctions : l’assurance qualité par la codification et la standardisation des bonnes pratiques opérationnelles, et l’exploration des opportunités aptes à valoriser les compétences organistaionnelles. Les perturbations ou conflits qui émergent lors de l’application des nouvelles règles, sont liées au caractère paradoxal des exigences de la norme (formaliser l’informel ; allier conformation et créativité ; imposer des règles élaborées loin de leurs lieux d’application), et au style managérial en place (directif ou participatif). Ces pratiques génèrent trois formes d’apprentissage : individuel ou opérationnel, collectif et organisationnel. Ces apprentissages permettent des innovations d’exploitation, c’est à dire fondées sur les connaissances codifiées (compétences maîtrisées) par l’entreprise et transformées par de nouvelles valeurs.L’étude empirique montre que les pratiques d’appropriation de la norme sont des pratiques de gestion de trois connaissances : expertes, opérationnelles et relationnelles, orientées vers l’évolution des routines. Elles dynamisent le cycle de d’amélioration continue de la qualité par acquisition, identification, codification et valorisation des connaissances organisationnelles. Ce cycle inscrit davantage la norme comme un outil de valorisation des compétences internes, qu’un moyen de contrôle et d’assurance qualité.Mots clés : Norme ISO 9001, outil de gestion, gestion de connaissances, appropriation, conformité, innovation
This research is part of the evolutionary theory of the firm. Through its conceptual and empirical studies, we attempt to fill a gap in the literature dedicated to the implementation of ISO 9001 standard requirements, through the following questions: Is this standard a management tool oriented to both the conformation of operational practices to the new quality requirements (exploiting good practices/standardization function) and the exploration of new knowledge and opportunities (innovation function)? What are the practices of appropriation adopted by quality managers to orient the standard value towards one strategy or the other? What are the disturbances that emerge in the managers' activity systems during the implementation process of new standard requirements? What kind of learning and innovations are induced by the implementation of the requirements into organizational practices?To answer these questions, we analyse the structure and dynamics of ISO 9001 through the three elements of management tools: an artefact made of scientific and technical expert knowledge that are encoded in the form of requirements to be applied; a management philosophy that interprets and instruments these requirements by quality management practices; and a reductive vision of the practical and relational knowledge needed to change routines in the company. Using the model of activity system- which argues that knowledge is constantly evolving and expanding through practices - we analysed in the empirical study, the quality management practices of 12 managers in the agro food sector.Our results show that the appropriation practices of the standard have a quality assurance function through the codification and standardization of good practices, as well as a knowledge exploration function able to give new values to organizational competencies. The disturbances that emerge during the implementation of the standard’s requirements are linked to their paradoxical nature (formalizing the informal, combining conformation and creativity, application of rules elaborated far from the work place), and management style (exploitative or participative). These functions generate three forms of learning: individual or operational, collective and organizational. These forms of learning induce exploitative or knowledge based-innovations, grounded on the company’s capabilities with new values.The empirical study shows that the practices of appropriation of the standard requirements are processes of knowledge management oriented to the evolution of routines : expert, operational and relational knowledge. They construct the cycle of continuous quality improvement through the processes of acquisition, identification, codification, and leveraging organizational knoweldge. This cycle place ISO 9001 more as a tool for valuing internal skills, than a tool of quality control and assurance.Key words: ISO 9001 standard, management tool, knowledge management, appropriation, conformation, innovation

Ao longo dos anos, constatou-se que o elevado consumismo e a globalização dos mercados têm influenciado de forma significativa as exigências dos consumidores no que diz respeito à Qualidade e Segurança dos Alimentos. A crescente exigência dos clientes e a preocupação das empresas em garantir a Segurança dos Produtos por si fornecidos e comercializados, conduziu à necessidade das indústrias alimentares se certificarem de acordo com referenciais específicos. Neste sentido surge o objectivo deste trabalho, que consistiu na implementação da norma International Food Standard (IFS), versão 5, numa Indústria de Produtos Pré-Confeccionados e Ultracongelados, e a sua integração com um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade, segundo a NP EN ISO 9001:2008. Para planear e estruturar o Sistema de Gestão de Qualidade e Segurança Alimentar a implementar, foi realizada numa fase inicial do trabalho, após o conhecimento das infra-estruturas e processos de fabrico, bem como a leitura e interpretação do IFS, um levantamento de necessidades da empresa, de forma a dar cumprimento a cada uma dos requisitos da respectiva norma. Com base nessa planificação foi possível estabelecer determinadas práticas a implementar, bem como a actualização e elaboração da documentação associada. Com a implementação do IFS, a empresa fica dotada de um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade e Segurança Alimentar, que facilita a sua integração em Mercados Internacionais, garante uma resposta concreta para a alta Segurança e Qualidade dos Produtos e expectativas dos clientes, permitindo fazer face a grande competitividade dos mercados que se tem verificado nos últimos anos.

Atualmente o Brasil é o país com o maior número de empresas certificadas ISO 9001 na América latina. A Gestão da qualidade e métodos de melhoria contínua como PDCA estão presentes nas empresas e são amplamente aceitos nos sistemas de gestão. As micro, pequenas e médias empresas são de fundamental importância no cenário nacional, uma vez que representam 99% do total de empresas brasileiras. Com o advento da gestão do conhecimento como estratégia de promoção da competitividade assim como os sistema de gestão da qualidade, este trabalho apresentou como ocorre gestão do conhecimento nas atividades de melhoria contínua (PDCA / MASP) em micro e pequenas empresas. Foi objeto do estudo a implantação de um sistema de gestão da qualidade em uma micro empresa, onde identificou-se os pontos críticos de gestão do conhecimento na documentação do sistema de gestão. Também foram avaliadas as contribuições da gestão da qualidade e das ferramentas informatizadas (softwares) para a gestão do conhecimento.
Nowadays Brazil is the country with the most of ISO 9001 certified companies in Latin America. Quality management processes and continuous improvements methods like PDCA are present in these companies and are widely used on management systems. The smallest companies are really important on this background, once they are 99% of the total brazilian companies. With the upcoming knowledge management as a strategy for competition, just like the quality management systems, this work has showed how the knowledge management happens on these small companies inside the continuous improvement activities (PDCA / MASP). The subject of this thesis was the start of a quality management process in a small company, where we’ve seen the knowledge management critical points when creating the management system documentation. Also was evaluated the quality management and the software tools used and its contributions to knowledge management.

ISO 9001 has been world widely implemented in both manufacturing and service organizations. A lot of studies have been conducted to investigate the effects of ISO 9001 implementation on the performance of these organizations. Most of these studies show that ISO 9001 implementation realized positive operational improvements and financial success. Building on the merits of successful implementation of ISO 9001 quality management system in manufacturing and service, educational institutions have been attempted to adopt it in their operations. Even though there are studies relating ISO implementation to education, no research has been done to investigate the effects of ISO 9001 at the individual level. The objective of this research is to investigate the effects of ISO 9001 quality management implementation on the performance of administrators and teachers. The Indonesian vocational education system is selected as a case example as there is a significant number of such institutions in Indonesia that attempt to achieve ISO certification and there is a national need to improve the performance of vocational education. It is a challenge to assess objectively the degree of ISO 9001 implementation in this specific educational context because of the size and diversity. This study relies on survey that measures the respondents' perception. Hence, this study applies a self-reported survey based performance measurement. The questionnaires are developed based on extensive literature review. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLSSEM) has been used to examine the relationships between the different elements of quality management systems, quality culture; administrator and teacher performances. The study is able to examine multiple interrelated dependence and subsequent relationships simultaneously among examined factors such as teacher and administrator performance, existing quality culture and ISO principles; and to incorporate variables that cannot be directly measured, such as leadership, for example. The findings of this study show that ISO 9001 implementation has positive significant effect on the performance of the vocational school administrator and teacher. The study also identifies key influencing elements of the ISO quality management system and examines their direct and indirect relationships with teacher and administrator performances. This study is expected to improve the current practices in implementing ISO and quality culture in any educational settings, specifically in the case of vocational educational system.

Product life cycle perspective, a concept emanating from sustainable product development has gradually emerged as one of the key areas in product design and development. Several studies and research have shown the direct co-relationship between product design, development and manufacturing and its impact on our environment and ecosystem. The need to take these environmental factors into consideration is fundamental and highly prioritized in organizations that seeks to minimize the environmental impact of their operations in our ecosystem and if possible redirect these operations to contribute positively to saving the natural ecosystem. In the latest revision of ISO 14001:2015 standard, the term product life cycle perspective (LCP) has now become a fundamental requirement for organizations to fulfill. The requirement specifies the need for life cycle perspectives to be a significant factor during product design and development. However, the practical challenges of continuously integrating life circle analysis in product design is enormous for companies and organizations. This thesis will look at the challenges confronting ISO 14001 certified product manufacturing companies and allied services in implementing product LCP during product development and design and also the interpretations given by auditors from certification companies concerning how companies implement product LCP in relation to the requirements in ISO 14001:2015 at the product design and development stages.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been facilitating the coordination of industrial standards since 1947 (ISO, 2007), and for many years ISO 9001 has been the most popular standard in the area of quality improvement and management. However many companies face difficulties when implementing it and/or passing the time, a difference between the procedures and the actual processes, which could bring major consequences.

The main purpose of this study is to extend the theory of the process of documentation by analyzing the nature of this gap and its causes, create a model to reduce this problem and justify it by studying our problem consequences.

The research itself follows the model designed. It starts with document research and on-site observations that revealed several improve opportunities for our case company (Alstom Power Sweden). The results show how important the employee involvement and the management encouragement are for the beneficial use of ISO9001. It also demonstrates that the real value of the documented procedures is the findings during the “making of” and its revisions.

Nevertheless, besides analyzing the particular opportunities and giving suggestions for solution, we modeled the vicious cycle that in the general case, organizations might deal with and gave recommendations to break it.

This Master thesis deals with the requirements for the quality of ISO standard compliant pneumatic cylinders, which are machined and assembled by a local manufacturer. According to the philosophy of continuous improvement, this thesis describes the project to decrease the number of air leaks detected by automatic testing machines. The main benefits of the thesis are the improvement of the design of pneumatic cylinders and the improvement of their assembly procedure leading to a reduction in the number of air leaks from pneumatic cylinders on automatic test equipment. It also provides an overview and general procedure for selecting, analyzing, implementing measures and taking further opportunities to improve the quality management system of pneumatic cylinders in the company.

The final issue deals with the introduction of Quality Management Systems in Central Bohemian high schools. The theoretical part describes principles of the Quality Management and more closely presents ISO 9001 standard, EFQM Excellence Model, CAF Model and CQAF Model. The research part determines opinion of school headmasters in Decree No 15/2005 Coll., that specifies requirements for the obligatory self-evaluation of schools. In next chapters through a survey and an analysis of school web pages is examined practice of Quality Management Systems implementation in high schools in Central Bohemia -- current status, awareness of head masters, demand and expectations. The last chapter offers a definite experience with the introduction of Quality Management Systems through additional interviews with school headmasters.

The presented work deals with the quality of education and elaborates upon the implementation of system of quality management ISO 9001 as one of the ways of possible improvement of a process and outcomes of education. Introduction included in the theoretical part is focused on explanation of the concepts of education quality, quality management, quality of a school, quality standards, quality control and quality management models. The subsequent part of the work contains implementation of a quality management system. The following chapter deals with process management as a means of maintaining quality management system. The final chapter of the theoretical part describes cloud computing as the latest and most progressive path of development of quality management. The object of the research is to develop a model of implementation of the quality management system. Actual implementation model build on a previous qualitative research conducted in several schools, performed in a form of a case study. In the appendix part, a number of actual documents are attached in order to better convey the implementation process. The characteristic of enterprises in Knowledge-Economy era is an intangible product taking the place of the traditional tangible product. For enterprise, knowledge is not only one of the traditional resources but also among its most important resources. Knowledge has become the basic of enterprise or personal competitive advantage. So knowledge management will become a core competence in every enterprise. Lots of enterprises carried out the KM project were totally inadequate. The reason apparent doesn’t have an exact goal, inadequate planning, a lack of a certain person responsible and didn’t meet customers needs. Therefore the enterprise was a failure. The ISO 9001:2000 management model is based on “management responsibility”, “resource management”, “process management” and“ measurement, analysis and improvement”. It’s the best BPR (Business Process Reengineering) paradigm which emphasizes a customer-oriented, process management module, continual improvement theory, and specific requirement. This paper integrates the KM and ISO 9001:2000 quality system being put into a KM process (identify, gain, share, store, use, common share and create) and to propose an enterprise to carry out the quality and effectiveness. It will do so, by using the “plan”, “do”, “check” and “action” four stages to purse the organization KM process to make the decision maker (user) acquire the knowledge at the right time and in the right place. It will then advance the organizational competition.

The standard of ISO 9001 continues pursuing the improvements in order to keep up to the trends, fusing with other management systems to make quality management systems better so that the standard can conform to the needs of users since 1987. Untill now, this standard has developed can not only provides a completely quality management system but also testify whether the products and services meet the customers’and the interested parties’ needs. At 2012, ISO published “Annex SL”, which had a brand new high level structure, common form and terminology inside, hoped can eliminate the conflict and contradiction when operated different standards. Lots of standards will revise according to Annex SL, and in order to keep up to the trends, requirements in the clauses also have done lots of modifications. Both of the range of variation and degree of influence were unprecedented. In view of this, this study is aimed to discusses and explains ISO/DIS 9001:2014【Quality management systems-Requirements】, use a comparative study of requirements in ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/DIS 9001:2014, and draw associated diagram of process, structure of detail and related graphics help to explain the new requirements in standard.Hope user can quickly understand and absorb key points and the direction of modify about this new standard. Finally when the “International Standard” (IS) release in the future, Organizations can quickly integrate with it.

This diploma thesis with the title Creation of the integrated system of the quality management on the base of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in the particular firm has the target to develop the proposal of the procedure of the implementation of the system of the environmental management according to the norm ČSN EN ISO 14001 and of the quality management according to the norm ČSN EN ISO 9001 in the company LAMIVEX s.r.o. To reach the target it was necessary to hold a conversation with the senior management and the employees, to observe their every day activities and to make the internal audit. The following step was to elaborate the gained information and to create the documentation according to the norm ČSN EN ISO 14001 and the norm ČSN EN ISO 9001.

This dissertation provides a study of ISO 9001:2000 based quality management in the consulting engineering environment. The motivation for carrying out this study was to assess why an ISO 9001:2000 based quality management system was not operating effectively in a particular consulting engineering company. A brief literature study of the topic of Quality Management is given, as well as an overview of the ISO 9001:2000 standard. A case study is made of the particular consulting engineering company (called ABC Projects as a pseudonym for the sake of confidentiality). The case study presents the results of two questionnaires, one circulated among the employees of the consulting engineering company, and the other circulated among the directors of the Group that owns the company. The case study also contains an assessment of the company’s quality management system at the hand of the ISO 9001:2000 standard. The assessment highlights various aspects of the company’s quality management system that needed to be improved. The case study concludes with a 6-point plan aimed at improving the operational procedures of the company, as well the quality management system used by the company.

O termo qualidade não deixa ninguém indiferente no mundo industrial de hoje. Este termo refere-se a vários conceitos que podem ser encontrados e estudados a partir de um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade. A qualidade e a satisfação dos clientes são o principal objetivo de uma empresa, e com a ajuda de um Sistema de Gestão eficiente, torna-se cada vez mais uma forma de diferenciação das empresas perante os seus clientes. As organizações reconhecem que o caminho para a implementação e certificação de um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade pode ser complexo, ainda assim, cada vez mais é necessário que as empresas implementem esta norma pois a qualidade é fundamental nos dias de hoje. Este estudo teve como objetivo descrever a implementação de um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade numa empresa do setor têxtil. Desta forma, a presente dissertação tem como objetivo estudar se a implementação de um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade, segundo a norma ISO 9001, traz ou não mais-valias à empresa, e quais os seus resultados depois da implementação. No sentido de analisar este impacto foram recolhidos dados antes e depois da implementação a fim de compará-los, e investigar as melhorias desenvolvidas pelo Sistema de Gestão. Através destes resultados pode constatar-se que a norma ISO 9001 trouxe, de facto, melhorias significativas à empresa. Esta norma consegue não só ajudar a empresa a medir os seus problemas como também ajuda a resolver os mesmos. A BeStitch, antes da implementação, não fazia qualquer monitorização e, consequentemente, não traçava objetivos por não ter base de comparação. Depois da implementação da norma, já foi possível à BeStitch fazer monitorizações e assim conseguir quantificar os seus principais problemas.
The term quality doesn’t leave anyone indifferent this days, in the industrial world. It refers to several concepts that can be found and studied from a Quality Management System. Quality and customer satisfaction are the main goal of a company, and with the help of an efficient Management System it becomes increasingly a way of differentiating companies towards their clients. Organizations recognize that the road to implementing and certifying a Quality Management System can be complex, nevertheless, it is necessary for companies to implement this standard, since quality is fundamental today and is a differentiation factor. This study aims to describe the implementation of a Quality Management System in a textile company. In this way, this dissertation aims to study whether the implementation of a Quality Management System, according to ISO 9001, brings value to the company or not, and what are the company results after the implementation. In order to analyze this impact, data were collected before and after the implementation in order to compare them and evaluate the improvements developed by the Management System. Through these results it can be seen that ISO 9001 standard has, in fact, brought significant improvements in to the company. This standard not only helps the company to measure its problems but also helps to solve them. Before implementation, BeStitch did not make any measurements and did not even set goals for not having something to base it on. After the standard implementation, it was already possible for BeStitch to take measurements and thus be able to quantify its main problems.
