Penelitian ini tentang berbagi pengetahuan (knowledge sharing) staf pepustakaan di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lancang Kuning yang berlokasi di Pekan Baru, Riau. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran bagaimana knowledge sharing staf perpustakaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dipilih dengan menggunakan sampel jenuh yaitu seluruh jumlah tenaga perpustakaan di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lancang Kuning, sebanyak 8 (delapan) orang. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa staf perpustakaan di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lancang Kuning belum semua paham akan kegiatan berbagi pengetahuan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari jawaban para informan. Kebanyakan yang paham adalah staf perpustakaan yang berlatar belakang ilmu perpustakaan. Staf perpustakaan di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lancang Kuning sebagian sudah melakukan kegiatan knowledge sharing. Kegiatan ini berupa pemberian motivasi pimpinan ke staf perpustakaan agar lebih bersemangat bekerja. Staf perpustakaan mulai dapat mencari pemecahan masalah dengan solusi kreatif. Sebagian staf perpustakaan jika menemukan masalah mencari solusinya melalui internet atau bertanya pada yang lebih ahli dalam permalasahan tersebut. Staf perpustakaan sudah mulai mampu menyerap pengetahuan yang didapatkan, meskipun masih tergantung dari pengetahuan yang diserap sebelumnya. Informasi yang dibagikan staf perpustakaan didapat dari internal maupun eksternal. Informasi atau pengetahuan sering disampaikan staf perpustakaan pada rapat bulanan. Strategies for Building Creative and Innovative Human Resources through Knowledge Sharing at UPT Lancang Kuning University Library. This research concerns knowledge sharing of library staff at UPT Lancang Kuning University Library in Pekan Baru, Riau. The study aimed to find out an overview of how knowledge-sharing library staff. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected using saturated samples, namely the entire number of library staff at UPT Lancang Kuning University Library, as many as 8 (eight) people. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that UPT Lancang Kuning University Library staff did not all understand knowledge-sharing activities. This can be seen from the answers of the informants. Most of those who understand are library staff with library science backgrounds. Some library staff at UPT Lancang Kuning University Library have carried out knowledge-sharing activities. This activity is in the form of providing leadership motivation to library staff to be more enthusiastic about working. Library staff began to be able to find solutions to problems with creative solutions. If they find a problem, some library staff find a solution online or ask someone more expert. Library staff have begun to be able to absorb the knowledge gained, although it still depends on the knowledge absorbed before. Information shared by library staff is obtained from internal and external. Information or knowledge is often conveyed by library staff at monthly meetings.

Staff scheduling is a <span lang="EN-US">combinatorics optimization problem and companies face this complex task on daily basis in constructing a schedule fitting all conditions. In a courier distribution center, staffs are assigned to work in processes of a continuous workflow. Staffs have varying work ability for each process. Instead of generating staff schedule instinctively, it is an advantage to optimize staff’s schedule by measuring the performance of each staff. An optimized schedule improves the operation’s efficiency and fully utilize staffs’ work ability, hence, minimizing the cost. This paper proposed evolutionary algorithm, namely genetic algorithm as the solution to courier center staff scheduling. Based on the result, the produced schedule can reduce up to 30% of the staff in schedule while not affecting operation workflow. The cut down on number of working staffs could amount to a substantial reduction of operation cost every month. The generated schedule is significantly customized and take less time to complete an operation. Although the proposed solution is specific to the use case of a courier distribution center, it is however, potentially a generalize model for the logistics industry, introducing a more effective staff scheduling system to cope with the industry’s ever-rising demands.</span>

<em>One big concern towards staff competency level is by doing a comprehensive research, every organization should know how its real staff competency level, its related factor, and also the impact of competency level towards staff performance. In this research result, the variable of education background does not affect the competency level. Meanwhile working experience variable has positive relationship towards competency level. Moreover, it is proven that there is a significant difference in competency level between staffs who have ever joined trainings and those who have never joined trainings. While staffs who have office administrative and secretarial education background have better competency level compared to those who do not have similar education background. The research result shows that office administrative staff’s competency significantly affects staffs’ performance. This research is expected to be able to give exact description on how far the staff competency level of Satya Wacana Christian University administrative staffs, also to identify the related factors towards staff competency level and its relationship with their working performance. The result is expected to give contributions to human resources management of Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW) in developing and improving the human resources quality especially administrative staff of UKSW.</em>

Dalam pelaksanaan pada efektivitas manajemen staff ketarunaan di Akademi Maritim Nusantara Banjarmasin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis bagaimana manajemen staff ketarunaan berjalan, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, serta menyarankan langkah-langkah perbaikan yang diperlukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen staff ketarunaan di Akademi Maritim Nusantara Banjarmasin memiliki beberapa kelemahan dalam proses pengelolaannya. Tantangan utama termasuk kurangnya standar operasional yang jelas, kurangnya pelatihan yang memadai, dan kurangnya sistem penghargaan yang memotivasi. Ketidakefektifan manajemen staff ketarunaan ini dapat berdampak negatif pada kinerja staf dan kemajuan akademik mahasiswa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penulis merekomendasikan beberapa langkah perbaikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen staff ketarunaan di Akademi Maritim Nusantara Banjarmasin. Rekomendasi tersebut meliputi penyusunan standar operasional yang jelas dan komprehensif, peningkatan pelatihan untuk staf dan calon staf, serta pengenalan sistem penghargaan yang mendorong kinerja yang lebih baik. ABSTRACK In implementing the effectiveness of cadet staff management at the Nusantara Maritime Academy, Banjarmasin. The aim of this research is to evaluate and analyze how cadet staff management works, identify the challenges faced, and suggest necessary improvement steps. The research results show that the management of cadet staff at the Banjarmasin Nusantara Maritime Academy has several weaknesses in the management process. Key challenges include a lack of clear operational standards, a lack of adequate training, and a lack of a motivating reward system. Ineffective management of cadet staff can have a negative impact on staff performance and student academic progress. Based on the research results, the author recommends several corrective steps to increase the effectiveness of cadet staff management at the Nusantara Maritime Academy, Banjarmasin. These recommendations include establishing clear and comprehensive operational standards, improving training for staff and prospective staff, and introducing a reward system that encourages better performance.

The emphasis on schools to promote pupils’ emotional well-being (EWB) has taken prominence in Government initiatives over the last 10 years. Initially focused within primary education, more recent publications have drawn attention to pupils’ EWB within secondary education, as well as the promotion of teaching staffs’ EWB. The prevalence of occupational stress and its negative impact upon teaching staffs’ EWB is increasing. There has been little exploration into the views of teaching staff and pupils concerning the implementation of EWB initiatives and the associated impact on teaching staffs’ daily practice and their own EWB.This paper is based on, and includes, extracts from research carried out during initial Educational Psychology doctoral training at the University of Sheffield (Salter, 2010). This research used a grounded theory (GT) methodological approach. Category themes emerged that outlined psychosocial processes involved in the whole school promotion of pupils and teaching staffs’ EWB in one secondary school. This paper presents a summary of themes arising from the research: the stressors teaching staff face and the impact on their EWB; benefits and barriers that staff experience when promoting pupils’ EWB; examples of current practice which promote teaching staffs’ EWB; and the role of the Educational Psychologist (EP) in supporting teaching staff EWB. All of these are grounded within the sampled views and experiences of pupils, teaching staff and EPs.Recommendations are made for EPs and secondary schools regarding the implementation and implications of associated systems which promote the EWB of teaching staff.

Abstract: Performance of Staff/Employees During Online Learning for the 2019-2021This study aims to determine the performance of UIN Alauddin Makassar staff. This study uses a qualitative method whose data collection techniques use primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents containing several questions to be answered by respondents through the google form application to assess the performance of staff/employees during online learning. Based on the results of the analysis/research, it shows that most of the respondents rate the performance of the staff/employees of UIN Alauddin Makassar in the high category, namely 83% because as many as 76 people assess the performance of the staff/employees of UIN Alauddin Makassar in the high category. However, there are also respondents who rate the performance of the staff/employees of UIN Alauddin Makassar as being in the medium category with a percentage of 15% because there are 14 respondents who assess the performance of the staff/employees of UIN Alauddin Makassar in the medium category.Abstrak: Kinerja Staf/Pegawai Selama Pembelajaran Online Tahun 2019-2021Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja staf/pegawai UIN Alauddin Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan data primer dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yang berisi beberapa pertanyaan untuk dijawab oleh responden melalui aplikasi google form untuk menilai kinerja staf/pegawai selama pembelajaran online. Berdasarkan hasil analisis/penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden menilai kinerja staf/pegawai UIN Alauddin Makassar berada pada kategori tinggi yakni 83% karena sebanyak 76 orang yang menilai kinerja staf/pegawai UIN Alauddin Makassar pada kategori tinggi. Meskipun demikian ada juga responden menilai kinerja staf/pegawai UIN Alauddin Makassar berada pada kategori sedang dengan jumlah persentase 15% karenaada 14 rang responden yang menilai kinerja staf/pegawai UIN Alauddin Makassar berada pada kategori sedang.

Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh staf administrasi dan Tenaga Ahli anggota DPR RI Fraksi PKS (periode 2019-2024) yang menemukan 100 orang staf. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 80 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dengan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja staf PKS DPR RI (Periode 2019-2024), terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja staf PKS DPR RI (Periode 2019-2024),Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan transformasional, Komitmen organisasi, Kinerja karyawan This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment to the performance of PKS DPR RI staff (2019-2024 Period). The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a causal approach. The population in this study was all administrative staff and Expert Staff members of the DPR RI PKS Faction (2019-2024 period) totaling 100 staff. The samples used were 80 samples. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership and organizational commitment on the performance of the DPR RI PKS staff (2019-2024 period), there was a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership on the performance of the DPR RI PKS staff (2019-2024 period), and positive and significant influence of organizational commitment on the performance of PKS DPR RI staff. Stomatitis often occurs in elderly at nursing home. They need nursing home staff assistance to maintain their dental and oral health. Therefore, nursing home staff need dental health education. Lecture or discussion methods, which are more effective to improve knowledge, attitude and skill of nursing home staff was the purpose of this research. The research design was quasi-experiment research and pretest-posttest with control group. The sample was 42 nursing home staffs and 74 elderlies, divided into two groups, consisted of 18 nursing home staffs and 33 elderlies using lecture method. Another group consisted of 24 nursing home staffs and 41 elderlies using discussion method. Validity was tested with product moment. Questionnaire of knowledge, attitude and skill correlation was 0.4725 0.6853; 0.47720.6962 and 0.31000.4916. Reliability test with Alpha Cronbach was 0.9292; 0.9273; 0.792. Research result was lecture and discussion methods were effective to improve knowledge, attitude and skill of nursing home staff to increase elderlys dental hygiene. The research concludes that discussion method is effective to improve knowledge while lecture is more effective to improve attitude and skill of nursing home staff.

This paper deals with the history of first Russian newspaper in Shanghai: Russian section of «Shanghai Gazette». With a detailed analysis of this newspaper, I have succeeded in identifying five editorial staffs of the Russian section: the first SocialRevolutionary staff, the Bolshevik staff, the White Army staff, the second SocialRevolutionary staff and the Monarchic staff. The author concluded that the editorial staffs of Russian section don’t follow a policy of the Editor-in-chief Chen Youren, colleague of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. At that time the members of Kuomintang couldn’t clearly know about the political situation of Russia, and from 1918 to 1920 there were very few people in China who knew the Russian and could translate Russian articles into Chinese. This is why the Editor-in-chief Chen Youren hadn’t notice that there were a large number of anti-Bolshevik elements in his Kuomintang newspaper.

The objective of this research has to study the effect of job satisfaction, motivation and organizational commitment on performance or the board of expert staff members of parliament, The research was conducted in Jakarta, and The data had been analyzed using path analysis. The population of this research were 91 person of expert staffs in the Parliament. The questionares of this research had been testing on the 40 expert staff. Therefore by simple randomly. Abstract There is a small but growing literature on the staffs working in national parliaments. These are mostly single-country studies studying one role that staff can play or one principal that they serve. Our contribution provides a comprehensive measurement instrument of the role of parliamentary staff, which takes into account organisational diversity within and between parliaments. We recognise four types of staff that may be present to a greater or lesser extent in different parliaments, which have different principals (PPG staff, personal staff, plenary or committee staff). These different staffs can play different roles (information broker, advisor, ghostwriter, compromise facilitator and marketeer). We apply this typology to the Dutch lower house and find out how different types of staff combine multiple roles in practice.
