ABSTRAKSerial Peripheral Interface (SPI) adalah protokol komunikasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai interface komunikasi antara mikrokontroler dengan SD Card. Dengan menerapkan metoda SPI pada data logger berbasis SD Card, maka dapat diketahui karakteristik protokol komunikasi SPI antara mikrokontroler dengan SD Card. SD Card diformat dengan tipe FAT 16, dan data di dalam SD Card berupa sekumpulan paket data sensor yang diambil secara periodik dan disimpan dalam bentuk file dengan format.csv. Berdasarkan format paket data sensor yang dibuat, dapat dihitungwaktu perekaman data yang diperlukan agar kapasitas SD Card terisi penuh oleh data sensor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan,bahwa metoda SPI yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini memiliki sifat akan melakukan pemeriksaan berulang pada pin MISO terhadap command yang dikirimkan oleh mikrokontroler melalui pin MOSI. Proses read/write data pada SD Card data logger memiliki keberhasilan 100%, karena SD Card telah terinisialisasi dalam mode SPI melalui perintah reset dan init SD Card. Komunikasi ini dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan crystal 4 Mhz – 20 Mhz. Untuk pengujian konfigurasi SPI, hanya Independent Slave Configuration yang dapat digunakan pada komunikasi SPI dengan 2 SD card sebagai slave. Kata kunci: Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), Data Logger, SD card, FAT16ABSTRACTSerial Peripheral Interface (SPI) is a communication protocol that can be applied as a communication interface between microcontroller to SD Card. By implementing the SPI method to a data logger based on SD Card, it can be known the characteristics of the SPI communications protocol between microcontroller to SD Card. SD Card formatted in FAT 16 type, and data on the SD Card is the form of sensor data packets collection which be captured periodically and saved in .csv format file. Based on the sensor data packet format is created, it can be calculated recording time data required so that the SD Card capacity completely filled by the sensor data. Research results show, that the SPI method applied in this study has the properties will do repeated testing on MISO pin to the command sent by the microcontroller through the MOSI pin. The read / write data on the SD Card data logger has a 100% success, because the SD Card has been initialized in SPI mode through the reset and init SD Card command. This communication can be established using crystal 4 Mhz - 20 Mhz. In a laser marking system, a laser marking controller should be designed to control several galvanometers through a certain interface using a certain protocol, such as the XY2-100 or SPI. The selection of the protocol depends on the configuration of the laser marking system. Using different protocols makes the controller design provide two types of interfaces. If different protocols have their own physical interfaces, the circuit becomes more complicated. In order to decrease the number of physical interfaces and ensure the protocol compatibility at the same time, two protocol signal generator modules based on FPGA are provided and the output signals of the two modules share the same physical interface, and only one of them can be chosen according to a flag set by users. This design makes the circuit simpler and decreases the design cost.

Public involvement in transportation planning and design has a problematic history. Professionals lack access to a coherent, organized method for communicating with the public, and some important principles of public involvement known to community design professionals are still being discovered by transportation professionals. A protocol, structured public involvement (SPI), is proposed. SPI was designed to ensure that public involvement is meaningful to the professional and the public. Principles of SPI are presented, and a series of steps useful for engaging the general public in a complex design or planning problem is given. SPI is intended to be transparent, accountable, democratic, and efficient. SPI places the use of technology within a public involvement framework built on community design experience. While technology can be useful, it must be placed in a social context. That is, various technologies are used because they can address such problems as lack of access to information, inconvenient and time-consuming meetings, confusing terms and graphics, and one-way communication. Highlights and examples are drawn from practical experience, where SPI protocols have been designed and used to solve problems of route planning, highway design, and transit-oriented development. While each problem set called for a different mix of technical tools, the protocol within which those tools were used was the same, with similar encouraging results. With SPI, public participation is less contentious and more informed, and the professional has information of high quality with which to begin the design process.

Normally, the computer reads, writes and other control operations on the M2 board through the UART protocol. Our goal is to achieve control of the M2 board through the SPI protocol. The specific implementation is to use an M2 board (Master M2) as an intermediary to achieve control of the target M2 board (Slave M2). The communication between the user computer and the Master M2 still uses the UART protocol. The SPI protocol is used between the Master M2 and the Slave M2. The read/write and other operations of the Slave M2 board no longer need to occupy the UART resources of the user's computer, which eliminates the inconvenience of connecting two computers at the same time. In the case where data transmission is required for multiple M2 boards at the same time, a solution for improving efficiency and reducing cost is provided.

In this paper, a novel low-power synchronous preamble data line protocol chip design for serial communication is proposed. The serial communication only uses two wires, chip select (CS) and secure digital (SD), to transmit and receive data between two devices. The proposed protocol aims to use a fewer number of wires for the interface, therefore reducing the complexity as well as the area of the chip design. Moreover, it increases the efficiency through a synchronous serial communication-controlled oscillator. The low-power synchronous preamble data line protocol design was successfully verified using a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) as a master device and a real chip as a slave device. The signals are checked through the use of a logic analyzer. The realized low-power synchronous preamble data line protocol chip design has a gate count of only 5.07 K gates, a low power dissipation of 12 mW, and a chip area of 453,260 μm2 using the Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company (TSMC) 0.18 μm CMOS process. Compared with the three-wire serial peripheral interface (SPI) protocol, the proposed design has the advantages of having a lower cost and a lower power consumption.

Electronic equipment made using old technology or electronic equipment in the entry-level category has not been supported by networking equipment, so for the data communication process, the microcontroller requires interfacing facilities that are in accordance with the electronic equipment used, such as a USB port. With the microcontroller that supports IoT, it allows electronic equipment to communicate over the network. An IoT microcontroller such as the ESP32 is equipped with a WiFi feature but is not equipped with a USB controller feature, while the USB Host max3421e supports the communication process using SPI, so that those two microcontrollers can be used to form an interface using the SPI bus. This interface can be applied to electronic equipment with old technology and entry level electronic equipment for wireless communication. For the needs of making an interface between the ESP32 and max3421e, a software was developed by analyzing the SPI features of the ESP32 and the USB protocol according to the USB device state diagram. The results obtained are the handshake process between systems developed with USB devices in the Low-Speed ​​and Full-Speed ​​categories such as printers, flashdisk, bluetooth mouse and external hard disk, and the device descriptor data of each device tested can be read properly.

We here present a new PLC-POWERLINK industrial solution for Industry 4.0 applications. This technology can help improve both the vertical and horizontal resolutions of the atmosphere. Hyperspectral microwave describes an all-weather sounding that acts just like hyperspectral infrared sounders. In hyperspectral infrared sounders clouds decease the accuracy of the results, this is a big reason hyperspectral microwave are considered necessary. Hyperspectral measurements allow the user to determine the Earth's temperature with vertical resolution exceeding 1km (1093.61 yards). One of the objectives of Hyperspectral Microwave Atmospheric Sounder (HyMAS) is to develop a data system that will store and display the date received. PIC24 data stream will transfer 52 Data plus 16 H/K = 64 channels over Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) at 100 Hz to scan head computer. Serial Peripheral is a synchronous protocol that allows the master device communication with a slave device. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) will be used to display the data received. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) is a type of user interface that allows users to interact with electronic devices using images rather than text commands. The author also develops documentation on how to operate the Explorer 16 development board. An Explorer 16 board can be used to interface with the emulator.

This paper focuses on development of remote data monitoring and recording system in industries. Now a days we are using many Networked embedded systems for monitoring and control the home or industrial devices.These low cost devices are capable of reporting and receiving information in just the same way that computers on a network. The advent of Internet communication standard, TCP/IP, offers significant potential in terms of remote monitoring and management of construction sites using embedded systems. In this paper the design method of low cost system of remote data monitoring, and recording is designed based on ARM. For this a small HTTP SERVER is built in LPC2148 and it is connected with the remote monitoring terminal through Ethernet. The data can be stored in the SD Card via SPI interface. At the same time, for the sake of the versatility, the FAT file system is built in the SD Card. So, an Ethernet-enabled remote data monitoring system with the ability of data recording is built. This design is having advantage of cost-effective, easily realized, stable and reliable transmission. It can be connected to the INTERNET or LAN through TCP/IP protocol. FreeRTOS is used as an operating system running on ARM processor, an industrial grade RTOS for hard time applications. By this design the data is sent without a PC and system favour’s large scale data acquisition system.

On the one hand, tele-communications companies have developed technologies supported the session initiation protocol (SIP), within the first place to re-implement the normal telephony service on the web, infrastructure, thus replacing the expensive circuit-switched network, but also enabling new communication channels like presence sharing and instant messaging. On the opposite hand, communities of open source developers have driven the evolution of open communication tools like e-mail and discussion systems towards the extensible messaging and presence protocol (XMPP). While the 2 worlds have virtually ignored one another for years, basically replicating the identical set of features, recent events within the industry have revealed a stimulating convergence between such technologies that within the near future is probably going to form them integrate. The project “Implementation of gateway between XMPP and SIP” is an effort to review various open source internet multimedia protocols like XMPP, SIP, RTP, MSRP et al. and their implementation into the $64000 environment and studying its actual working. The proposed system provides the features of audio call, and video call together with the features of conferencing, instant messaging, and presence.

To start voice, image, instant messaging, and generally multimedia communication, session communication must begin between two participants. SIP (session initiation protocol) that is an application layer control induces management and terminates this kind of sessions. As far as the independence of SIP from transport layer protocols is concerned, SIP messages can be transferred on a variety of transport layer protocols including TCP or UDP. Mechanism of Retransmission that is embedded in SIP could compensate for the missing packet loss, in case of need. This mechanism is applied when SIP messages are transmitted on an unreliable transmission layer protocol like UDP. Also, while facing SIP proxy with overload, it could cause excessive filling of proxy queue, postpone increase of other contacts, and add to the amount of the proxy overload. In the present work, while using UDP as transport layer protocol, invite retransmission timer (T1) was appropriately regulated and SIP functionality was improved. Therefore, by proposing an adaptive timer of invite message retransmission, attempts were made to improve the time of session initiation and consequently improve the performance. Performance of the proposed SIP was implemented and evaluated by SIPP software in a real network environment and its accuracy and performance were demonstrated.

To ensure a secured communication, many SIP authentication protocols have been proposed. This work provides an overview of the proposed schemes based on elliptic curve cryptography. Those proposed schemes are analyzed in security consideration and the computational cost.</p>

Many of the mobile networks and voice carriers evolved their network from traditional Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM) / Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) to Internet Protocol (IP). Several interworking protocols have appeared for interexchange of Voice traffic between TDM and IP. SIP to ISDN User Part (ISUP) interoperability mechanisms have been devised. But, in spite of all the endeavours of the mobile networks move to the next generation, it will probably take some time for the networks to completely migrate from UMTS to LTE. As both the technologies will coexist, Circuit Switched Fallback (CSFB) and Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (SRVCC) are two of the most preferred options in the interim to switch from 4G to 3G when the coverage is lost. 3G networks rely still on circuit switching. It can be inferred that circuit switched networks piggybacking on ISUP for voice communication will continue. In this paper, we examine the ISUP signalling aspects to optimize the load sharing and streamline the performance of the traditional voice core networks. We will study the dependencies of the Circuit Identification Code (CIC) selection process on ISUP load sharing to derive our conclusions.

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a multimedia signalling protocol that has evolved into a widely adopted communication standard. The integration of SIP into existing IP networks has fostered IP networks becoming a convergence platform for both real-time and non-real-time multimedia communications. This converged platform integrates data, voice, video, presence, messaging, and conference services into a single network that offers new communication experiences for users. The open source community has contributed to SIP adoption through the development of open source software for both SIP clients and servers. In this paper, we provide a survey on open SIP systems that can be built using publically available software. We identify SIP features for service development and programming, services and applications of a SIP-converged platform, and the most important technologies supporting SIP functionalities. We propose an advanced converged IP communication platform that uses SIP for service delivery. The platform supports audio and video calls, along with media services such as audio conferences, voicemail, presence, and instant messaging. Using SIP Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), the platform allows the deployment of advanced integrated services. The platform is implemented with open source software. Architecture components run on standardized hardware with no need for special purpose investments.

Multimedia services are one of the internet needs with high data traffic network count since 2019. Two of the multimedia services, Web Real-Time Communications (WebRTC) and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), have been widely used in applications for conducting video conferencing. The main objective of this research is to analyze network performance by an application with a client-server for audio and video communications developed with WebRTC and SIP protocols. The SIP system uses the FreePBX server, and the softphone application uses Bria. Whereas WebRTC uses JavaScript with servers on Ubuntu using Node.js. The analysis application uses a star topology and runs on a local network using Wi-Fi. After testing, the results show that the throughput, jitter, and packet loss of WebRTC are better than SIP. This result is caused by several factors including the type of codec, the type of platform, and the way of signaling and routing of each protocol.

This paper studies implementation issues of Parlay X “Multimedia Streaming Control” and “Application-driven Quality of Service” web services in the Evolved Packet System (EPS). EPS is defined as evolution of mobile communication networks with broadband radio interface and Internet Protocol (IP) based core. The main signalling protocols in EPS used for multimedia session management and quality of service control are respectively Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Diameter. The functional architecture for third party multimedia streaming control with guaranteed quality of service considers deployment of an application server which exposes web service interfaces toward applications and control protocols toward the network. In a role of mediation functionality, this application server is responsible for the translation between web services interface operations and control protocol messages. In addition, it needs to maintain synchronized state models that reflect both third party application view and protocol view. An approach to automated functional verification of such type of application server providing “Multimedia Streaming Control” and “Application-driven Quality of Service” web service interfaces is suggested. Use cases that illustrate the approach applicability are described.

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a signaling protocol used for establishing and maintaining communication sessions involving two or more participants. SIP was initially designed for voice over IP and multimedia conferencing, and then was extended to support other services such as instant messaging and presence management. Today, SIP is also adopted to be used with 3G wireless networks, thus it becomes an integral protocol for ubiquitous environment. SIP has various methods that support a variety of applications such as subscribing to a service, notification of an event, status update, and location and presence services. However, when it comes to security, the use of wireless and mobile communication technologies and the pervasive nature of this environment introduce higher risks to security than that of the old simple environment. In this paper, we introduce new architecture that implements a new type of access control called usage access control (UCON) to control the access to the SIP-based communication at preconnection, during connection, and postconnection. This will enable prescribers of SIP services to control who can identify their locations to approve or disapprove their subsequent connections, and to also set some parameters to determine whether a certain communication can continue or should terminate.

The subject of the study is multiservice communication network using the concept NGN (Next Generation Network) based on the open network architecture IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem), supporting a wide range services. The basis of this architecture is the IMS core, consisting of a set of specialized modules responsible for various functions for customer service. The purpose of the article is to analyze the existing technical capabilities of the IMS multimedia messaging subsystem and perspective solutions for the functioning of the NGN/IMS network efficiency in providing multimedia service. As the efficiency of the system, the capacity NGN/IMS networks is selected using the signaling system and protocols NGN. The capacity NGN/IMS networks during the establishment of a multimedia session was analyzed and the functional architecture of the IMS multimedia messaging subsystem that determine the interaction NGN signaling systems an protocols was explored. Manage the presentation Triple Play services to subscribers and simultaneously modify the media stream within the session allows the protocol for the initialization of the SIP and Diameter sessions, which are the main IMS signaling protocol. One of the important requirements for the IMS subsystem is the maintenance QoS (Quality of Service). A mathematical model for estimating the quality of communication services using a system GI/G/1/N based on the theory diffusion approximation is proposed. The research presented in this paper is very important for the theory queuing systems, since the article proposes a method for investigating multiservice communication networks with non-Poisson incoming flow and effective results are obtained for NGN/IMS networks. On the basis of the model analytical expressions are obtained, which allow evaluating the performance indicators of the Triple Play service. The proposed mathematical model can be used to solve a wide range of practical problems, including the management multiservice traffic in the process its transmission in multiservice telecommunications networks, taking into account the quality of service classes. Thus, studies NGN/IMS network capacity indicators using SIP protocols are relevant.

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is one of the most common protocols that are used for signaling function in Voice over IP (VoIP) networks. The SIP protocol is very popular because of its flexibility, simplicity, and easy implementation, so it is a target of many attacks. In this paper, we propose a new system to detect the Denial of Service (DoS) attacks (i.e. malformed message and invite flooding) and Spam over Internet Telephony (SPIT) attack in the SIP based VoIP networks using a linear Support Vector Machine with l1 regularization (i.e. l1-SVM) classifier. In our approach, we project the SIP messages into a very high dimensional space using string based n-gram features. Hence, a linear classifier is trained on the top of these features. Our experimental results show that the proposed system detects malformed message, invite flooding, and SPIT attacks with a high accuracy. In addition, the proposed system outperformed other systems significantly in the detection speed.

The current development of Information Communication Technologies (ICT) and the integration of intelligent transport platforms and service systems make it possible to significantly improve road safety and reduce the likelihood of road accidents. However, the delivery of mobile-smart services requires the development of a rather sophisticated infrastructure to support multicast services. The purpose of this scientific article is to analyze the data transmission capabilities for heterogeneous services while ensuring road safety. The paper deals with the tasks of evaluating the possibilities of integrating such mobile services into the infrastructure of motor vehicles. Measuring bandwidth by enabling multicast services on the base of Ad-hoc wireless networks becomes an important task. The demonstrated results illustrate the capabilities of wireless networks by simulating these services in a transport service generating environment. The paper demonstrates that high-quality heterogeneous services require new wireless network interaction protocols, such as a session initiation protocol (SIP), GPRS functionality, routing protocols, and channel access to provide a large number of supportive service components.

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) has been recently one of the more popular applications in Internet technology. It benefits lower cost of equipment, operation, and better integration with data applications than voice communications over telephone networks. However, the voice packets delivered over the Internet are not protected. The session initiation protocol (SIP) is widely used signaling protocol that controls communications on the Internet, typically using hypertext transport protocol (HTTP) digest authentication, which is vulnerable to many forms of attacks. This paper proposes a new secure authentication and key agreement scheme based on Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA) and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) named (ECDSA). Security analysis demonstrates that the proposed scheme can resist various attacks and it can be applied to authenticate the users with different SIP domains.

The result achieved is a system of VoIP with SIP and Asterisk software which has functions of PBX to provide additional facilities such as VoIP which is a plus for the company and customers. After implemented, the VoIP system and billing features are found work well.

PBX is a telephone communication connection device that is commonly used in buildings that require a telephone connection. However, some PBX products cannot be directly connected to analog telephones, so they require a module called an S2 module. S2 module can converts the port on the PBX to an FXS port that can be connected to an analog phone. Apart from PBX, there is ITG which can be used as telephone line communication. However, ITG already has an FXS port so it does not require additional modules. In Indonesia, there are standard provisions for the use of analog telephone communication devices which have been regulated in SNI for analog telephones. This research examines analog telephone communication devices according to SNI in Indonesia. The results of this test show the TA400 and MyPBX Standard at the impedance value when the on-hook state gets an average value of 64 K?, when the off-hook condition averages a value of 343 ?, the AC voltage test when the call comes on average gets a value of 343 ?. a value of 60 VAC, which means that it meets the SNI standard.

The micro-mobility is an important aspect in mobile communications, where the applications are anywhere and used anytime. One of the problems of micro-mobility is the hand-off latency. In this paper, we analyse two solutions for IP micro-mobility by means of a general taxonomy. The first one is based on the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP), which allows the dynamic address configuration of an association. The second one is based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), which is the most popular protocol for multimedia communications over IP networks. We show that for the SCTP solution, there is room for further optimisations of the hand-off latency by adding slight changes to the protocol. However, as full end-to-end solution, SCTP is not able to handle simultaneous movement of hosts, whose probability in general cannot be neglected. On the other hand, the SIP can handle both single and simultaneous movements cases, although the hand-off latency can increase with respect to the SCTP solution. We show that for a correct and fast hand-off, the SIP server should be statefull.

Wireless technologies have evolved very rapidly in recent years. In the future, operators will need to enable users to use communication services independently of access technologies, so they will have to support seamless handovers in heterogeneous networks. In this paper we present a novel adaptive congestion aware SIP based procedure for handover in heterogeneous networks. In the proposed algorithm the handover decision is based in addition to signal strength, also on target network congestion status, which is tested during the conversation. As SIP protocol was used, the proposed procedure is independent of access technologies. For performance evaluation of proposed procedure we developed a purpose‑built simulation model. The results show that the use of the proposed adaptive procedure significantly improves the QoE of VoIP users, compared to reference scenario, in which only signal strength was used as the trigger for handover decision.

TCP\IP protocol can be connected to various computer data networks in the world. This protocol increasingly exists and is needed so that many parties develop it to vote through this protocol. Voice Over Internet Protocol technology is the answer to that desire. This technology is able to convert analog voice (human voice) into data packets then through public internet data networks and private intranet data packets are passed, so that communication can occur. With VoIP communication costs can be reduced so that it can reduce investment costs and conversations (cost saving) or even up to 100% free. VoIP implementation can be done by designing a wireless VoIP network (cable) using 3CXSystemPhone software as a PBX. In this scientific work the software used is 3CXSystemPhone 11.0, where SIP is a VoIP server which is a freeware software, in its application only requires one PC server and several PC clients (2 for example) that are connected to each other
