Thesis focuses on the voluntary programs implemented in non-governmental organizations working in the social sector, focusing on the integration of foreigners. The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of voluntary programs aimed at the integration of foreigners living in the Czech Republic in the short term. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The objective is theorizing volunteering in the Czech Republic in its essence and forms, to describe the status of foreigners in Czech society and describe social services aimed at integrating foreigners. The survey deals with the society´s points of views on volunteering in the social sector, social services and analysis of accredited and non-accredited volunteer programs aimed at integrating foreigners in the Hradec Kralove region and evaluation of the effectiveness of voluntary programs focused on integration of foreigners in the short term residing in the Hradec Kralove region. The result is a proposal to improve the efficiency of integration of immigrants through social services, especially social services professional counseling and social rehabilitation accompanied by an accredited volunteer program.

relations between residents of the housing estate Cerny Most. The main objective of this
thesis is to determinate, what social relations and interactions are between residents
of Cerny Most and how different are these relations and interactions between
established residents and newcomers.
The research is a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches.
The quantitative part is based on a survey, which is focused on determinates
of neighborhood, for example the residential stability, the resident´s connection to Cerny Most
and spending of free time in the locality depending on location of residence and length
of staying in the location. Research is also focused on neighborly relations and social
interactions between residents of Cerny Most, but also between established residents
and newcomers. Research deals with the satisfaction in the place of residence, quality
of neighborly relations, purposeful meeting of neighbors and involvement in the
community life. The qualitative part is consist of field research, own photographs of the
area and semistructured interviews which help to better understanding to detected
areas. From the survey results, statistic calculations and semistructured interviews is
compile the plastic image of neighborly relations and interactions between the residents
of Cerny Most.

Diploma thesis Enterprise Social Networks - Critical Success Factors is, as its name sug-gests, deals with the area of Enterprise Social Networks, especially implementing into the businesses informatics. Since this is a relatively new technology, terminology, nor the prin-ciples aren't stabilize. That's why I choose target of this thesis to determine what critical factors leading to the success of the implementation Enterprise Social networks into the businesses informatics. These factors I gathered from available literature and published articles by foreign authors, and therefore it was necessary to verify the validity of these factors in the Czech market. The second target of this thesis was the categorization of Crit-ical Success Factors of implementing an Enterprise Social Networks by the Methodology for Adoption and Adaptation of Social Networks. To meet the first target I have to search available works on this topic. Gained Critical Suc-cess Factors I have, by using fusion through cluster analysis, merged into a unique clusters of Critical Success Factors. For them I have found out their relevance in Czech market us-ing questionnaire or interview. To meet the second target, I used the categorization of Enterprise Social Networks, which is described in the Methodology for Adoption and Adaptation of Social Networks. Indi-vidual clusters of Critical Success Factors I have assigned into specific categories using the paired comparisons. The result of this thesis is a collection of 20 unique Critical Success Factors that are accord-ing to the survey identified as relevant in terms of their impact on the success of implemen-tation Enterprise Social Networks into the business informatics. At the same time has been extended Methodology for Adoption and Adaptation of Social Networks by the point of Critical Success Factors view. Chapters 2, 3 and Chapter 4 have interpretative character. Their goals are to identify all the important concepts that appear in this thesis and classify them into context. The second part of Chapter 4 is devoted to research of Critical Success Factors of implementing Enter-prise Social Networks into the business informatics and merging them into unique clusters. Chapter 5 is devoted to verify the relevance of these clusters in the Czech market, and Chapter 6 provides categorization of verified clusters based on Methodology for Adoption and Adaptation of Social Networks.

This diploma thesis deals with a new trend in the corporate sector -- social networks. These in fact have become a phenomenon due to its growing popularity in recent years. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the social networks in a broader context -- especially the analysis of milestones of social networks. Further comparison of selected social networks from the perspective of business alias what options the company offers a social network for your presentation with access to user data (Social CRM). The third part of the aim of this work is to analyze the critical factors in the integration of social networks into the enterprise information system. The work can be divided into the descriptive (Chapters 2-4) and the practical (Chapters 5-6) part. The first part presents the social networks, the concept of Social CRM and basic characteristics of systems integration. The practical part is focused on all those aims. Author of the work receives information primarily from the electronic information resources that are available at University of Economic in Prague and also from various sources that are on the principle of Web 2.0 (Czech and foreign). Finally, the author also receives information from social networks (social networks options). The work serves as a summary and mapping of existing communication channels on the Internet (e-mail, IRC, selected social networks) and summarizes the critical factors in the integration of social networks into the enterprise information system according to the individual project phases.

The doctoral thesis focuses on international coordination of social security systems. It covers both theoretical and practical role of coordination and also brings relevant empirical evidence about impacts of social security coordination on international labour migration. The gravity migration model is used on panel data set for 30 European countries from 1998 to 2007 for empirical evidence. Presented results show positive effect of social security coordination on migration and confirms important role of coordination in European integration policy. Analysis of labour tax cost and how it is influenced by the coordination of social security is also proposed in the thesis. Different migration structures and its tax costs are analyzed for this purpose in 2003 and 2004, the year prior the CR joining the EU and the year after. The results of the analysis did not show any decline of the tax cost in all of the migration structures after the coordination of social security was applied in the CR.

The Effectiveness of Therpay for Drug Addicts and Their Integration within Society The purpose of my thesis "The Effectiveness of Therapy for Drug Addicts and Their Integration in Society" is to elucidate the lifestyles of addicts during different stages of therapy and to help people to understand the problems of drug addicts. The function of the brain can be altered by a number of psycho-active drugs that can influence a person's behavior, conscience, morals and mood. Drug addiction results in an uncontrollable urge to acquire drugs, regardless of the consequences. This behavior leads to a gradual exclusion of the drug addict from society. Re-integration into society must be the goal of treatment. The social exclusion of addicts seriously hampers their attemts to find employment. Many addicts started to use illicit drugs before the age of 18 years. Their education has not been completed and their bonds with their family members have been broken. Health problems caused by drugs, alcohol, a low quality nourishment, often untreated infections, poor hygiene, poor or absent living arrangements are factors that contribute to the exclusion of drug addicts from society. The abstinence from drugs, for longer than three months, creates a precondition for recovery and re-integration into society. However, in the absence of a postive change in attitude of the addict towards society and in the abscence of a social safety net, drug abstinence alone does not represent a reliably positive prognostic indicator. Complex social services that include protected housing, employment, job counselling, out-patient or in-patient psychotherapy, are necessary for successful treatment.

The aim of the diploma thesis is focused on providing a thorough insight into the process of integration of Czechs and Slovacs working in Taiwan in 4 dimensions of integration (structural, cultural, interactive, identificational) from the point of view of the migrants themselves and considering the psychological aspects as well. Another aim is to identify determinants possibly facilitating the whole process, and related obstacles, too. To meet the aims of the thesis, a qualitative research has been conducted on the basis of semi-structured interviews. Twelve interviewees took part in these interviews. The findings from the interviews suggest for example that despite participation in the labour market, the nature of their work experience was sometimes illegal, and therefore problematic. Survey also suggests related key obstacles of their integration process such as language barrier and cultural differences. Attitude of the majority society, access to institutional system and social networks were rather contributory factors. Common elands (Taurotragus oryx) belong between the world's biggest antelopes. The basic social unit is created by several females with offspring, males are joining them only in the breeding period. There is a dominance hierarchy in a herd, which eliminates strong negative conflicts mainly between adult females. Except agonistic interactions, affiliative ones are taken place as well, which have positive impact on relationships in a herd. The aim of this work is t o summarize previous studies dealing with social structure and behaviour of common eland focusing on affiliative, maternal and agonistic interaction in a herd. Experimental part is focused on preferences of females for a choice of the closest companion, if the choice is influenced with age, kinship or maternal state of a female. Data were collected through direct observations of a herd of common elands on a farm Lány using 15 min scans of chosen females. Distances were measured between females and all the other herd members. Selected social behaviour of any two members of a herd was recorded using an all occurrence sampling method. The statistical analysis showed that the most (98,77 %) of interactions were negative, females preferred contactless agonistic interactions, threat and withdrawal. The aim of the thesis was to observe the mutual behavior between dogs in public spaces in Svitavy. A total of 250 pairs of dogs were monitored. I followed various aspects and their effects on the resulting behavior of the monitored dogs. I followed various factors, such as the age of the owner or the dog which first initiated sniffing. The results show that many factors have influenced social interactions, including the sex of the dog, the sex of the owner, or the way in which the dog is guided. I found that most of the other dogs started sniffing adult dogs and that the most sniffing place in all dog categories was the back. Most often, they urged dogs to play small breeds.

The dissertation look into the question what social firm has a impact on the social integration of people with mental diseases. It is divided into theoretical part, profiles of surveyed organizations and practical part. In theoretical parts are offered definitions of the various authors about social integration, social firms, persons with mental illness. Definition of approaching the issue. There are also published theories, which were subsequently verified in the empirical work. Brief profiles of organizations includes two social firms and one sheltered workshop. In empirical part was a qualitative research aimed at answering research questions. They were directed to full the objectives of the work. The main method in this case were semi-structured interviews. Work leads to knowledge, some of which support the theoretical ssumptions about the importance of social integration firm. However, some theoretical knowledge about the importance of social integration, were not confirmed by the results of empirical research. The diploma "Accommodation social services as an instrument of social integration of social excluded people" deals with accommodation social services, focuses on Asylum. There are essential informations about all accommodation social services in the diploma. The diploma mentions concepts of social exclusion, social and culture capital, social integration and equality and equity as theoretical starting point. The diploma examines legal and other documents in the Czech Republic and within the European Union, which relate to the issue of social services for social excluded people. There is an analysis of one particular Asylum. The conceptions of social work had been researched in more detail. The diploma focuses on Asylum users and their unsatisfactory integration to the society. For this research was used the Asylum for men and mothers with children in Děčín town. The diploma mentions the reasons of admission of 17 users, who used the Asylum services in 2009. It analyses their reasons to come to the Asylum. The diploma thesis explores the relation between the processes of segregation and integration through the study of everyday cohabitation and social interaction that takes place in areas of concentrated Russian immigrants in Prague. Given that some locations of Prague have a long experience with the immigration of Russians, this thesis is reflective of the historical development of the Russian immigration to the First Republic, which in some way to helps to understand and explain the processes taking place presently on the unequal social and legal status of Russians, as immigrants from third countries, perceived through migration and integration policies of the Czech Republic. Analysis of the media's discourse shows the negative impact on Russian immigrants in social interactions with the majority, subsequently reducing integration and deepening social inequality. At the beginning, locations with a significant concentration of Russian immigrants are identified and defined by the quantitative research. Next, the daily interaction among Russian immigrants and the Czech majority is examined in selected locations by the qualitative research. This thesis titled "Integration of Homeless People into Czech Society " deals with the process of setting public political agenda and the related homelessness (and social exlusion) control policy in the Czech Republic during 2000-2013. This process falls behind in comparison with other countries or even worse - it is completely missed out. Growing number of social exluded people is the result of these faults. The aim is to evaluate conceptual and strategic approach to the integration of homeless people and to the system of homelessness prevention in social work and public administration. Following methods are used: critical discourse analysis, event analysis of public policies and semi-structured interviews with selected respondents. The main deficiency of the homelessness control policy can be the lack of systematic research strategy at the national level, which manifests itself in ineffective approach to homelessness prevention. Primarily a lack of awareness is also the cause of homelessness prevention. Public education would help to understand the roots of homelessness and to comprehend the possibilities of help. Thesis also compares approaches to homelessness prevention in selected countries during the reviewed period.

A Blue-tongued skink ( Tiliqua gigas) is a rare exotic species which is very popular between breeders. Nevertheless, the social structure of this charismatic skink remains almost unknown. Because of its high aggressive- ness and difficulties connected with study in its natural habitat, experiments based on the odor discrimination looks like a good alternative for its bet- ter understanding. Our results revealed that the reaction on the odor is generally poor and is very individual. We observed the highest response of interest on odors produced throught dorsal parts of skin. The reaction on conspecific's odor did not lead to escape behavior. Behavioral analysis was complemented by morphological analysis of heads in T. gigas and T.scincoides. These species are divided into separate subspecies, which are formed by geographically distinct populations. We wondered whether it is possible to separate these populations by geometric morphometrics and whether this separation is consistent with phylogenetic studies. We found out that if the populations are united in bigger groups based on their congeniality they seem to be distinct according to the head shape. Our results also revealed the monomorphy in head shape. Unfortu- nately, it is very difficult to distinguish between sexes due to the absence of sexual dimorphism....

Se sociální interakcí se člověk potýká celý život, protože bývá odmalička v kontaktu s lidmi, nejdříve jemu blízkými, poté s vrstevníky a učiteli, pak v partě mladých lidí a nakonec jako dospělý v běžném či pracovním životě. Uvědomuji si, jak je důležité pro úspěšný start dítěte do života obecně a do dětského kolektivu konkrétně jeho kladné přijetí rodinou a jakým příkladem jsou mu jeho rodiče. Po získání pocitu jistoty a bezpečí v rodině se dítě postupně osamostatňuje a je schopné navazovat kontakty s dalšími lidmi mimo rodinu, především s vrstevníky. Velmi tedy záleží na úrovni stability a osobní vyrovnanosti každého jedince. Po úvaze nad položenými otázkami jsem dospěla k názoru, že bych měla vychovávat především děti ohleduplné, citlivé, které budou schopny spolupracovat, budou se umět prosadit či přizpůsobit. Míra úspěšnosti dítěte se stává součástí osobní identity a ovlivňuje dětské prožívání i chování. V projevených postojích příslušníků majority vůči romské menšině lze pozorovat širokou škálu často protichůdných tendencí. Od aktivistické rétoriky zapálených bojovníků za práva menšin, přes romanticky laděný obdiv k životnímu stylu Romů, až po rasistické a diskriminační jednání, jehož nositelé řadí všechny Romy do skupiny obtížných a nepřizpůsobivých "spoluobčanů". Soužití Romů a Cechů je stále plné konfliktů a mnoho Romů se následkem neschopnosti zvládnout nároky majoritní společnosti ocitá na okraji. Na okraji pracovního trhu, vzdělávacího systému, ale i městské čtvrti či města, ve kterém dosud žili. Romské rodiny se v posledních patnácti letech často nacházejí v situaci sociálního vyloučení, které je charakterizováno nedostatkem příležitostí stát se součástí společnosti nebo sníženou schopností na tyto příležitosti dosáhnout. In my diploma thesis I deal with the issue of individual planning as an important tool for social integration of seniors after their entering into the residential social services - Retirement Home Třebíč. The issue of population aging and the seniors seeking residential social services becomes an important issue today and it is related to the increasing length of human life. This thesis consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is divided into eleven chapters and includes the basic issues related to the main research question. In the empirical part of the diploma thesis there is the goal stated, which is to chart a setting of the individual planning process in the Retirement Home Třebíč. A qualitative research method was applied for a data collection and a sub-analysis method was chosen to create groups (clumps). The major research question for this thesis was established: "Does the individual planning in the Retirement Home Třebíč serve for social integration of the service users?" To answer the main research question, five specific research questions were defined: 1. Are the physiological needs of the users being fulfilled? 2. Is the clients' need for security being fulfilled? 3. Are the social needs of clients being fulfilled? 4. Is the need of clients' autonomy being fulfilled, 5. Are clients satisfied with the individual planning? The research work itself was conducted in two phases. A preliminary research was performed in the first phase and only then the research itself followed. The resulting data were structured and presented according to the specific research questions. The research showed that the respondents are satisfied with individual planning in the Retirement Home Třebíč. In order for the social integration of service users to be complete, not only social but also physiological needs, the need for security and autonomy of residents' needs should be fulfilled. Only if a full range of needs is fulfilled completely, one can speak of a functioning social integration. The research also revealed that all respondents have a key worker and know her name. They identically also answered the question whether they have an individual plan of care formed for them. It reflects wishes of the user if the provided services of the home allow that. To answer the main research question "Does the individual planning in the Senior Home Třebíč serve for social integration of the service users?" my answer is yes. One of the important areas that affect the individual planning and service users' satisfaction is a mutual communication between the residents and staff of the facility. Their proactive approach is of great importance in all areas assessed. In the interviews, clients also repeatedly praised the friendly atmosphere in the home. This thesis should expand awareness of an individual planning in a retirement home among students, home workers, especially key employees, but also the general public.

5 ABSTRACT This thesis deals with interaction in educational environment, i.e. mutual interaction between two subjects (teachers and students) and their influence on one another during the educational process, with each participant involved in different social roles, which often require different ways of communication. The theoretical part focuses on the general description of teacher's personality, his authority and his role in pedagogical interaction with students, and on pedagogical communication, which forms the most important part of interaction between the teacher and students. The empirical part is an ethnographic study of the Czech language classes at a secondary school in Rokycany. It is a qualitative research that consists of a subjective description of the studied environment. It focuses on monitoring individual interaction genres in the classroom, how the teacher negotiates her role, creates and maintains authority, when, why, and how students communicate, verbally or non-verbally. The analysis is made on the basis of video recordings of individual hours, interviews with teachers, its reflections on students she teaches and reflections of students on their Czech language teacher. The thesis deals with the integration of health and social services for patients with incurable diseases. In the theoretical part I define notions of aging and old age and in connection with that I point out the aspects that the old age and the aging bring. In another area of the theoretical part I explicate the laws and regulations of the Czech Republic relating to the given issue. I also provide a statistical overview of the development of the population, diseases and places of death and in relation to these factors I mention the principles of the palliative care. Using the dogs for the therapeutic purposes is not novelty anyway. Connection to the dog is, vice versa, one of the strongest fixations in the human society. It is know, that many people feel absence of somebody, who they could have a good chat from their joys and troubles of life or only the closeness of some living creature who would love them. Theoretical part of this thesis is focused on explanation of names as zootherapy, canistherapy and recovering actions. One chapter of this part is dedicated the introduction on the Training Centre of Canistherapy called Hafík, o.s. (non-profit civic association). Further, the author concerns explanation of issues with integration and inclusion. The last part of the theoretical section is focused on explanation of the term social skill. Aim of the practical part of thesis is based on describing of researching methods and one is own results of research work. Researching aim of it was describing of the change in the social sphere and social skills of children from the intact society in a course of stay action realization with focus on canistherapy. For realization of the researching part of thesis author chose qualitative way of research. For collection of dates the method of taking part was used. In practice, it was long-termed and systematical observation of children from the intact society directly during their stay action focused on canistherapy. The second used method for collection of the dates was depth interview with the children from the intact society, who took part in the stay action focused on canistherapy. During this interview children were inquired individually in advance prepared, open questions, concerning, above all, their opinion about the handicapped friends, who took part in this stay action together with them. The last method used for collection of the dates in my thesis is the method of structural examination, which was used with the parents of children from the intact society, who took part in the stay action focused on canistherapy. After its ending, among the parents of children, there was realized examination, endeavouring for opinion of them: influence of this stay action to their child. As complementary dates resource, there was used the method of photo documentation. The research was under way in the period from July to September 2012 with the children from intact society, who where participants of the stay action focused on canistherapy and their parents. Camp was arranged with the Training Centre of Canistherapy called Hafík, o.s. (non-profit civic association). Whole of a piece 12 respondents both males and females from the row of the children from intact society took part in this stay action together with 6 parents of them. Results of the researching proved forth coming changes in the social sphere and social skills of the intact children during their stay action focused on canistherapy. The children improved their communication, learnt to establish and keep contact with new people. They became more self-confident, independent and self-sufficient. Further, the children, thanks to the presence of handicapped one´s, have learnt both the correct access to them and the forms of manners with them. At the same time they have got new knowledge about some individual types of disabilities. During the program with present dogs children gained couples of knowledge and skills, concerning with behavior, care and training the dogs. They learnt, how safely and in a responsible way entry to this four-footed friends. Author believes results of her thesis could serve as material for canistherapy in practice and for canistherapy on scientific, researching and educational level too.

The thesis deals with different types of smile of an infant during its early interaction with mother; or more specifically, it focuses on occurrence of smiles during social game routines as compared to other individual interactions, while also mapping the effect of mother's stimulating touch. The predictions were tested on data obtained by a quasi-experimental study, where natural interaction of 32 dyads of mothers with their four-month-old infants was coded for the occurrence and duration of four types of smile (simple, duchenne, play, and duplay), social game routines, and stimulating touch. The results showed the presence of all observed smiles in four-months old infants. Furthermore, there was a significantly higher incidence of all types of smiles during individual interactions as compared to social game routines, and at the same time the association of smiles with mother's stimulating touch was confirmed. Actually different parts of Europe present different kinds of immigration cases. The Central and Eastern Europe first played as a transit of immigrants and then soon became a destination of immigrants mainly for those who come from the former communist countries, such as Ukraine, Vietnamese, Chinese and so on. After 1989, the Central and Eastern European countries (CEECs) became democratized and opened their society to outside world. From this moment, this area became a new destination for Chinese and other peoples' immigration. I use the empirical and comparative methodologies to explore my research problematic. As for the empirical approach, I conduct questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews, and as for the comparative methodology, I compare Chinese and Vietnamese immigrants because of their similar cultural, political and economical backgrounds. The work is complemented by field research that maps the real situation of implementation of minority rights, cultural and political rights in the Czech Republic in relation to international and national standards.
