This thesis is focused on gamification and practical testing in internal training of new-hired employees. The main objective was to introduce gamification as a term and show how gamification can help with internal training of new-hired employees. In the theoretical part games and their meanings are defined. Then it is necessary to describe gamification itself with historical evolution and used player types. To understand principles of gamification and player's motivation, game elements and mechanism are defined. Selected examples of gamification divided by fields of applications are at the end of the theoretical part. Practical part describes the gamification environment of tool New Hire Orientation made by MindTickle and practical application of testing at H1.cz. Conclusion contains results and suggested recommendations for H1.cz and for MindTickle.

Today's information society is changing dramatically along with the evolution of technology, which influences our perception of every aspect related to ICT greatly. New wave of social networks changes not only the nature our perception of the internet, but also the very basics of social interaction. Some of these phenomena were described in Norbert Wiener's definition of information ethics in 1954. Another phenomenon, very actual for researched field, is described in Alienation Theories by sociocybernetics expert R. F. Geyer. The objective of this study is to analyze sociocybernetics and its possible impacts on fileds of sociology and psychology, as well as digestedly compile fragments of interactive media and social networks, which can be directly linked to negative sociological and psychological effects. The study involves the overview, comparison and issues of rating systems as well as their application in countries of EU. The study also involves trends related to ICT and the internet in czech environment. This section is based on combination of results of long-term sociological study created by Doc. The presented study focuses on online social media and possibilities of their use in human resource management. The aim of the study is to define recommendations for a more effective application of social media and their tools in HR management, based on an analysis of social media tools and evaluation of results of a research carried out among Czech organizations. The study also attempts to identify the potential use of individual online social media in the respective HR activities. The study consists of a theoretical and an analytical part. The theoretical part first describes social media as a whole and then presents a description of the most common social networking services. The analytical part comprises three chapters. One chapter includes an analysis of social media tools and their potential use in the respective HR activities, while another chapter contains a description and analysis of the results of a research examining the use of social media in HR practice of Czech organizations. The final chapter presents a comparison of the outputs of both analyses. Recommendations for a more effective use of social media in HR practice are then defined based on this comparison. The outcomes of this comparison include the finding that practical use is in accordance with the defined potential only in the case of LinkedIn, which is by far the most used social networking service in Czech organizations. Facebook is the second; however, the extent to which it is used does not fully match the possibilities it offers. This also holds for other social media, particularly in terms of their use for recruitment and HR marketing, the most suitable HR activity for social media. The recommendations defined for using social media in HR practice of Czech organizations therefore mainly include greater diversification of the range of these tools used in recruitment and HR marketing, leading to addressing different types of job candidates and to better employer branding, and screening job candidates on various social networking services, using as many resources as possible.

The thesis deals with the theme of modern board games and the interactions of a small social group. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part provides an introduction to the theory of play as such with a more detailed understanding of two play concepts. I also deal with the definition of board games and the differences between classical and modern board games. I devote more space to the modern board games with emphasis on three aspects, namely the social dimension of the play, the existence of the board as a meaningful game space and specific game material. The theory also includes the introduction of a method Interaction Process Analysis of F. Bales and a selected typology of group roles that are both used in the empirical part of the thesis. The introductory section presents definitions of related terms, explains the vagueness of the concept of the game on the social networks and presents several possible partitions of these games. Finally, it mentions the development of the phenomenon, whose existence is evident only in the 21st century. The middle part reflects the perception of games on social networks in the perspective of current research in the world and displays a range of gaming using the current statistics. The goal of this thesis was to study early social games in natural interaction between mother and child of 4 month age. Infant's affectivity and gaze orientation as a sign of participation was coded. We also observed how can mother and infant influence the social game routine. We examined mother's warm sensitivity and infant's temperament as a variables potentiallz influenced the social game interaction. Fifty five dyads participated in the present study when infants were four months old. Social games were analyzed in natural mother-infant interaction and identified on the given criterions. To assess maternal warm sensivity Materna Affect Attunement was used. Mother's evaluated infant's temperament on fourteen scales of IBQ-R. The results indicate that social games are an inherent part of mother-infant interactions in infant's 4 months of age, and their occurance is influenced by temperament. This dissertation examines the impact of playing video games on social relationships. The main goal of the research is to find out how relationships differ between gamers and non-gamers. The quality of relationships is examined via Furman's and Buhrmester's Network of relationship inventory. The values are compared according to the gaming status. Apart from the basic groups I compared some other groups such as online and offline gamers, men and women or gamers who prefer playing alone and players who play with their friends. According to the inventory findings the relationship qualities of gamers and non-gamers do not differ significantly. Comparison of some other groups brought some interesting relationship differences among groups of men and women and, also, a correlation between the increasing average game time and decreasing quality of relationship with family members was observed.

This work uncovers perceptions of the Czech society concerning cultural and social role of a digital entertainment (computer games and videogames) as a relatively new interactive media form. The author tries to verify validity of a presumption that the digital entertainment is an object of a cultural stigma that was formed by combination of various factors which are closely specified in the work. According to the author, present perception of the digital entertaiment in society is formed by a media panic that repeated itself regularly in the course of history. Amongst other significant determinants one can find certain stereotypical viewes, efforts of a ruling class to sustain status quo and struggle of various social groups over cultural dominance which leads to hierarchization of cultural tastes. Suggested cultural stigmatisation of the digital entertainment probably leads to a social stigmatisation of players, who submit to social pressures and often adapt their behaviour to general tastes. Glitch is becoming an important topic both in popular culture and academia. In 2012, Disney cast a glitch as a major character in its movie homage to arcade video games Wreck-It Ralph. More and more studies about glitch are emerging across various disciplines, from media studies to aesthetics. So far, researchers were focusing mostly on theoretical and technological aspects of the glitch. This Master's thesis aims to analyze the "everyday" glitch and the roles it plays in the video game culture, conducting a qualitative content analysis of online discussion forums of three recent hit video games: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic. The first part of the thesis reviews the literature connected to the glitch and explains its connection to similar scientific concepts: error, noise and emergence. Aims: The aim is to assess the effect of the two-month program using games and activities in the nature of social relationships in a group of adolescents. Methods: The research group consisted of 17 girls aged 13 and 14 years. The girls were divided into two groups. The group intervention program completed a two-month ski lessons with additional features activities and games in the winter nature. In the control group ran a classic ski training. Social relations in the group were assessed based on the survey using sociometric rating method Class compass, preferential methods of recording and sociometric questions. Results: In the group with the program based on the method class compass was recorded 27 positive choices regarding sympathy and influence in the first polling, 23 in the second and 30 in the third. The point value of mutual sympathy by preferential entry fell from 461 to 419 points and third interviews increased again to 450 points. For the first sociometric questions of social cohesion index value decreased from 0.81 to 0.67 and 0.31, the second was an increase of 0.28 to 0.58, and then drop to 0.33. The author is reviewing the research that E. Kuruczová demonstrated in her diploma thesis called The effect of social organization of games on the orientation in their moral dimension. The main goal of the diploma thesis Kuruczová developed another contribution to Piaget's theory of the development of moral reasoning of school-age children. Piaget's empirical data suggested that social organizations could influence orientation in their moral dimensions. Kuruczová found that in her 180 children from one school (aged 1st - 9th grade) the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game King of Deer Hunters (organized as a competition) performs ahead of the development of orientation in the moral dimension of the game Hot Potato (organized as a collaboration). Furthermore, in the research, children of Kuruczová think about the stories of unjust play situations organized by "Mrs. Teacher". Even the youngest and unoriented did not argue the evaluation of the situation as a fair authority of the teacher - which, according to Piaget's theory, could assume the key role of the criterion of obedience of authority in the heteronomous understanding of the criteria of moral evaluation. The present diploma thesis with the title 'The whole camp game as a means of gaining children knowledge and skills' focuses on the elaboration of games as a completion in summer camps for children. It deals mainly with educational components and the acquisition of social behaviour conveyed by these games. The thesis is split into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is focused on the theory of whole camp games. It also deals with motivation, which is important for the ability to remember a fact. The games are presented as an inseparable part of the summer camps, last but not least affecting the pattern of learning. The empirical part is divided into several chapters. The first chapter contains a description of whole camp game under the motto of 'time machine', which were realized in a summer camp in 2010, organized by the STROM P.B.m. association. This study explores how the only public TV channel designated for children in the Czech Republic approaches on a children's audience and how it communicates with a child and adult viewers. The primary research of this study has a qualitative nature. The case study was used, the data were analyzed thematically. In the study, several interviews were conducted with the key television staff responsible for communication. Research based on a literature review found that television workes view the viewer as an active audience. They create content which is to be edutainment. ČT :D follows world trends and uses the latest technologies, including social networks, to communicate with the child's viewer. However, social networks ČT :D does not consider to be the key means of communicating with child viewers due to the age of its target group. Within the paradigms that dominate the discourse of approaching to the child's viewer, social constructivism was found out.

This diploma thesis named Digital Communication of the Czech Olympic Team at the 2018 Winter Olympics deals with the communication of the Czech Olympic Committee, focusing on social media profiles - the Czech Olympic Team, which the Czech Olympic Committee manages and communicates through them to the target audience. The diploma thesis analyzes communication specifically during the XXIII. Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea and focuses on communication on Instagram and YouTube. The theoretical part outlines the history of the Olympic Games, explains the basic concepts of marketing and PR and the connection of these disciplines to sports and social networks. The analytical part explains the functioning of the Czech Olympic Committee and analyzes the communication on Instagram and YouTube during the Olympics. The analysis was partly based on data from the Czech Olympic production and partly my own research and analysis of posts from the period under review. To the analysis are added findings from a structured interview with the head of digital communication and is followed up with recommendations for future communication of this association.

For my thesis I chose a topic related to the use and limits of the Internet for pupils of primary school in their free time, because I think that this issue is not given sufficient attention. The aim of my work, based on content analysis of literature and other sources and on the research among pupils, is to formulate risks associated with the use of the Internet by pupils of younger school age. Chapters of my thesis provide the readers to the issue of risk phenomena associated with the use of the Internet, which can affect mental and physical health of children. Readers will also find a chapter focused on existing projects dealing with the issue of Internet safety. And last but not least, the work is focused on the possibility of the use and safety of the sites mostly visited by children that resulted from the research. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether pigs exhibit laterality in social behavior, especially the laterality of rotational movements in game behavior and social interactions. We aimed also to explore how this laterality is influenced by other factors, especially the possibilities of playful behavior in ontogenesis, personality and others social and non-social factors. Alternatively, whether the degree of laterality determined varies depending on the social situation (game / aggression) and whether is influenced by the litter. I have investigated this behavior for 64 pigs in 16 litters from videotapes of their social behavior. For each pig, I recorded the playing element and the preferential side. For individual game elements I did not find any preference for rotation at the population level and only a slight tendency for individual laterality. For social game elements, I have shown a weak population tendency to prefer left side, but only for a group of more playing pigs. The thesis represents image of female characters and their development in the popular TV series Game of Thrones. Based on qualitative analysis in this thesis it is being examined how visual image, personal characteristics and interaction within society are presented and developed on example of several female characters in these TV series. Seven women were observed in all already aired episodes of seasons 1 to 7. As a strategy of qualitative analysis grounded theory method was chosen, which helped to produce generalized categories and sub-categories of phenomena which characters have in common. In further chapters of this thesis interpretation of categories could be found with illustrations from analyzed episodes. Other important part of this thesis is the chapter, in which trends in characters' transformation and development in frames of mentioned categories are being identified.

The thesis is based on the analysis of the selected plays with the focus on socially engaged and socio-critical themes. This thesis defines the basic line of development of the socially engaged drama that begins with the work of naturalistic writers Émile Zola and the Goncourt brothers, continues in the form of Henry Becque's playwrights and the authors grouped around Andre Antoine's Théâtre Libre, especially Jean Jullien and his theory of "live theatre", and results in the definition of Eugène Brieux's, François de Curel's and partly Octava Mirbeaua's drama. The opposite character of French theatre and drama at the turn of the 19th and 20th century is described as the counterpart to this line. The topic of this diploma thesis is Interaction between parent and child with autistic spectrum disorder. The theoretical part is about mental development neurotypical preschool child and child with ASD, focused on social skills, speech and play. Emphasis is placed on reciprocity in parent-child socio-communication interaction. Next chapter is devoted to the specifics of raising a child with ASD. Empirical part contains qualitative research to investigate individual variability in social-communication behaviour in dyadic interaction parent-child with ASD. Videos were taken from which the socio-reciprocal skills, frequency and quality of interactions and initiation of contact on the part of the child and its response to parental initiation were analysed. Special attention was paid to making eye contact. The output of the thesis is practical recommendations for mothers, detailed qualitative analyses of observed interactions and a more detailed description of the socio-communicative behaviour of children with PAS. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of corporate social responsibility in connection with employment selection by generation Y also known as Millenials. According to the quantitative and qualitative research, suggested recommendations for companies are made on finding out how CSR is perceived by potential employees, and to what extent it affects their employment decisions. Based on the research, the author concludes that more educated respondents have a higher awareness of CSR and that corporate social responsibility is more important in the selection of employment among respondents with higher gross incomes. Also, the choice of work for a more socially responsible company at the price of a lower wage depends on the respondent's education and the respondent's gross monthly income. Research suggests that CSR is an important factor in job selection and companies should focus on the activities associated with it.

The thesis deals with different types of smile of an infant during its early interaction with mother; or more specifically, it focuses on occurrence of smiles during social game routines as compared to other individual interactions, while also mapping the effect of mother's stimulating touch. The predictions were tested on data obtained by a quasi-experimental study, where natural interaction of 32 dyads of mothers with their four-month-old infants was coded for the occurrence and duration of four types of smile (simple, duchenne, play, and duplay), social game routines, and stimulating touch. The results showed the presence of all observed smiles in four-months old infants. Furthermore, there was a significantly higher incidence of all types of smiles during individual interactions as compared to social game routines, and at the same time the association of smiles with mother's stimulating touch was confirmed. This thesis aims for a global view on the whole issue of recess and the concept of the structure of the school day. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and a research. The main ideas behind the thesis include introducing the characteristics of the disorder known as Asperger syndrome, searching for help for individuals with this disability, looking at their engagement in society, and also helping teachers prevent and deal with existing conflicts. The thesis deals with the issue of singletons. Its main question is directed to the childhood of singletons and its importance for the whole life of a human. It wonders whether the childhood of singletons affects humans in adulthood, or in which areas and which way. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and part of the research. In the first part basic terms are defined which constitute the basis for the second part of the work. The research part of the work is more extensive and forms the core of the thesis. It is a qualitative research. Biographical design, specifically the realistic biography, has been used as the most appropriate research plan. First, three interviews were made and processed - depth probes of the respondents who grew up as the singletons. The analysis of the probes divided the interview into three stages: childhood upbringing, the upbringing of their own children and self-education. From macroanalytical perspective it assesses the strategies of protestant minorities used to resist the disciplining efforts of the absolutist state. The confessional homogeneity, economic background and social stratification of Protestants in Eastern Bohemia and Haut-Languedoc differed. Yet, the contrasting comparison opens up the way to analyse the divergent resistance strategies. Further, the thesis examines the existence and nature of attempts to simplify the religious doctrine and to modify the liturgy undertaken by the lay and ordained priests and the worshippers.
