Social Work and Human Rights - "The training of Social Workers to defend and realize Human Rights in social intervention” The Global Agenda for Social Work organized a World Congress that took place in June 2022, with the theme "Co-Buildin a New Eco-Social World. Leaving no one Behind!". The goal and purpose of this summit is to create a Global Values Declaration. Faced with this challenge, this text aims to present some pillars of a formative proposal for Social Workers in Portugal as human rights professionals. We put here a set of considerations and proposals on the formation of Social Workers as human rights professionals structured in three parts: Social Work and Human Rights, guiding ethical principles, some theoretical references, methodological strategies such as political and pedagogical challenges, and considerations about Social Work and the next steps to action.

Simplification and necessary reductionism in a model cannot lead to detailed descriptions of social phenomena with all their complexity, but we can obtain useful knowledge from their application both in specific and generic contexts. Human ecosystems, that perform as adaptative complex systems, have features which make it difficult to generate valid models. Amongst them, the emergency phenomena, that presents new characteristics that cannot be explained by the components of the system itself. But without this knowledge derived from modelling, we, as social workers, cannot suggest answers that ignore the structural causes of social problems. Faced with this challenge we propose Agent Based Modelling, as it allows us to study the social processes of human ecosystems and in turn demonstrates new challenges of knowledge and competences that social workers might have.

Employee of any organization starts his/her recognitions from the society that ultimately reach the organization, where he/she earns the livelihood. So, the resiliency of an employee (sales-force of any commercial organization in this study) should be understood on the touch-points of salesemployee with society. On this context, the main purpose of this study is to explore the strategic relationships of social communication, social change, and social engagement of the sales-employees to build the concerned employees’ resiliency. With the descriptive research design, this research-work is intended to study the above said relationship by extensive literature review. Major outcomes of this study refer that social communication in varying level makes the employee of an organization engage with the social activities and simultaneously develop the psychological adjustment of the concerned sales-employee towards social change. Finally, the social engagement and self-accommodation to the social change build the resilient sales-force of the concerned retail organization. A conceptual model is developed that justifies the above outcomes, which is the major contribution or novelty of this study. Thus, the industrial implication of the said outcomes is that any commercial organization should develop the social orientation of their sales-force by developing their social communication continuously, which in turn enables the concerned sales-employees for better adoptability to any social changes, for insulate themselves for adverse social (market) conditions, and for productive social engagement in the marketing orientations. The said causal relationship ultimate give the return to the organization in the form of resilient sales-force. And, social implication refers that the society will be aware of the truth regarding the functioning of sales-functions of organization in the context of social contribution of those organizations.

The article presents an overview of the relationships between higher education institutions, researchers, and social movements in Colombia. Based on a periodisation of the different modes of alignments or gaps between these 3 social actors, the study focuses on two significant experiences of collaborative research between researchers and social movements. First, an experience with peasant movements from the Atlantic Coast led by Orlando Fals Borda from La Rosca Foundation in the 1970s, and which originated Participatory Action Research. Then, a project conducted by the Subjects and New Narratives in Research and Teaching of the Social Sciences research group at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional focused on the systematisation of practices with popular organisations and their inputs to the field of critialc research. Finally, a balance of the current situation of joint research between social movements and collectives of researchers linked to higher education institutions is presented.

Millennials are a technologically sophisticated generation, who have the purchasing power to change the face of retailing. A significant proportion of their shopping is done online and they utilize their social networks while engaging in the shopping process- a current area of interest termed “social commerce”. No single group is better positioned to take advantage of social commerce, and yet, it’s possible that Millennials are participating in social networks and online shopping in order to better define their social identities. This study summarizes data from three years of longitudinal research into the use of social media by Millennials on three platforms: Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. The results show that Millennials prefer to utilize the identity shaping aspects of social media and commerce. We recommend that platforms allow more identity formation in order to increase the likelihood that Millennials not only use the platform, but also make purchases through them.

Poverty or social exclusion programs, under their multiple forms, are of decision makers' concerns at global, European, regional, and local levels. They emerge as the primary objectives of sustainable development strategies. The deepening of economic and social inequalities multiplied the risk of poverty or exclusion for highly vulnerable groups. Monitoring groups at risk of poverty and social marginalization, especially children and youth, is imperative today. Monitoring reports have been included in all country strategies and EU recommendations. In this context, measuring poverty in all its complexity using social indicators defined according to a common methodology at the European level might help identify specific cases of vulnerable persons, and provide effective support measures for groups exposed to the marginalization risk. In Romania, particular attention is paid currently to children, the group most exposed to poverty. Romania is ranked first with the highest percentage of children exposed to poverty or social exclusion, followed by Bulgaria and Greece. Finding social balance in a modern economic system presupposes promoting a highly equitable society with benefits and investments in essential sectors for equality and human development such as education, health, culture, social work, civic and political participation, etc. Sectorial social policies might increase the efficiency of social transfers for poverty or social exclusion reduction in an integrated modern vision. They might also ensure future increases in the quality of life for vulnerable groups or persons. Keywords: social policy; at-risk of poverty rate; at-risk of poverty or social exclusion; persistent poverty; severe material deprivation; economic and social inequality; social transfers. ●●●●● Programele de reducere a sărăciei sau excluziunii sociale sunt prezente în atenția decidenților politici la nivel global, european, regional și local. Ele apar ca obiective majore ale strategiilor de dezvoltare durabilă. Adâncirea masivă din ultima vreme a inegalităților economice și sociale a multiplicat riscul sărăciei sau excluziunii pentru grupurile vulnerabile. Monitorizarea situațiilor grupurilor cu risc de sărăcie și marginalizare socială, mai ales a copiilor și tinerilor, este un imperativ al prezentului. În acest context, măsurarea fenomenului sărăciei, în toată amploarea și complexitatea lui, prin indicatori sociali, clar definiți după o metodologie comună la nivel european, poate ajuta atât la identificarea cazurilor specifice de vulnerabilități cât și la stabilirea unor forme eficiente de sprijin pentru grupurile expuse riscului de marginalizare. În România, o atenție deosebită se îndreaptă cătrecopii, grupul cel mai expus sărăciei, ce a înregistrat pe perioada tranziției o rată ridicată a riscului de sărăcie sau excluziune socială. România se situează în țările membre UE pe primul loc cu procentul cel mai mare de copii expuși riscului de sărăcie sau excluziune socială. Găsirea unui echilibru social în cadrul unui sistem economic modern presupune promovarea unei societăți înalt echitabile, cu beneficii și investiții în sectoare importante pentru egalitate și dezvoltare umană precum educație, sănătate, cultură, asistență socială, participare civică și politică etc.. Politicile sociale sectoriale, doar într-o viziune integrată modernă, pot să crească eficiența transferurilor sociale înreducerea sărăciei sau excluziunii sociale. Ele trebuie să asigure în viitor o creștere a calității vieții și pentru grupuri sau persoane vulnerabile. Tujuan yang ingin dicapaiii dari iipenelitian iiiniii iiadalahi untukii iimengetahuiii iiupayai guru dalam iimengatasiii iikenakalanii pesertaii iididikii iidiii iiSMPii iiIslamii iiKebumenii iikecamatanii sumberejoii iikabupatenii iitanggamus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskripsi kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru dan peserta didik SMP Islam Kebumen, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang digunakan penelitian ini yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa upaya guru di SMP Islam Kebumen dalam mengatasi kenakalan peserta didik telah menggunakan usaha preventif (pencegahan), represif (pembinaan) dan Kuratif (menanggulangi). Selain dengan usaha tersebut guru di SMP Islam juga memberikan punishment (hukuman) kepada peserta didik yang melakukan kenakalan, akan tetapi punishment yang diberikan adalah punishment yang bersifat mendidik, bahwa upaya guru dalam mengatasi kenakalan peserta didik sudah baik akan tetapi perlu ditingkatkan lagi agar peserta didik tidak lagi mengulangi kenakalan-kenakalannya, hal ini terbukti dengan telah diterapkannya program membaca Al-qur’an disetiap pagi sebelum pembelajaran dilaksanakan, dengan adanya program ini diharapkan peserta didik memiliki jiwa al-qur’an yang dapat menjadikan peserta didik berbudi luhur sesuai ajaran Al-qu’an.

Upaya peningkatan mutu atau kualitas sumber daya manusia sangat diperlukan agar mampu bersaing di era globalisasi. Salah satu upaya yang dapat kita lakukan yaitu dengan memenuhi sarana dan prasarana untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran di sekolah yaitu dengan mendirikan perpustakaan sekolah. Perpustakaan sekolah berfungsi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ilmu bagi siswa, masyarakat sekitar atau pengguna jasa perpustakaan yang membutuhkan suatu informasi mengenai ilmu pengetahuan ataupun hal-hal yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah perpustakaan pada SD 9 Negeri 9 Namang sudah bisa dikatakan ideal dan apa saja upaya yang sudah dilakukan SD 9 Namang untuk meningkatkan pengunjung perpustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang bersifat diskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yaitu data yang diperoleh secara langsung dari obyek penelitian dan data sekunder yaitu yang tidak secara langsung diperoleh dari obyek yang diteliti. Adapun data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 9 Namang yaitu perpustakaan SD 9 Namang sudah bisa dikatakan ideal. Hal ini terbukti dari beberapa pertanyaan yang diajukan hampir 75% memiliki jawaban positif untuk menunjukkan perpustakaan yang ideal. Selain itu Kepala sekolah SD 9 Negeri Namang juga selalu berupaya untuk meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung perpustakaan, baik dari segi varian koleksi buku yang didapatkan dari DAK buku maupun menyediakan anggaran untuk buku perpustakaan serta mengumpulkan buku sumbangan dari masyarakat/ wali siswa baik buku bekas ataupun baru. Interior dan sarana prasarana yang ada di dalam perpustakaan juga menjadi perhatian khusus kepala sekolah SD Negeri 9 Namang.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana manajemen konflik dalam menyelesaikan konflik yang terjadi di dalam organisasi RISMA. Dalam penelitian ini akan membahas apa saja langkah-langkah dalam menejemen konflik yang perlu dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan konflik dalam organisasi RISMA, kemudian dalam penelitian ini juga membahas bagaimana peran menejemen konflik dalam menyelesaikan konflik yang ada dalam organisasi RISMA tersebut. Dalam penelitian tersebut metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif hasil dari penelitian tersebut yaitu, terdapat lima langkah-langkah yang di lakukan dalam menejemen konflik untuk menyelesaikan sebuah konflik yaitu Pengenalan Diagnosis, Menyepakati solusi, Pelaksanaan, Evaluasi dan kemudian menejemen konflik memiliki peraan dalam menyelesaikan konflik dalam suatu organisasi rima yaitu, dengan adanya menejemen konflik diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan konflik dengan baik, serta dapat mengatasi masalah dengan langkah-langkah yang benar sehingga konflik yang terjadi dapat dimanfaatkan ke arah produktif bila di kelola secara baik.

Pembelajaran merupakan sebuah proses yang menjadi kunci tercapainya tujuan belajar. Apabila proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan baik maka hasil belajar akan baik.. Agar pembelajaran berjalan dengan baik guru perlu mempersiapkan sumber, media, model, metode dan teknik pembelajaran yang disajikan dalam perangkat pembelajaran. Namun, saat keadaan seperti saat ini yang dilanda pandemi kegiatan belajar mengajar tidak bisa dilaksanakan dengan tatap muka, untuk itu pembelajaran dalam jaringan menjadi suatu pilihan. Melalui pelatihan E-Learning diharapkan guru memiliki kemampuan dan dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan metode e learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan e learning terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan pembelajaran e learning. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru ekonomi di Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 16 orang. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan setelah mengikuti pelatihan e learning terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan metode pembelajaran e learning.
