Le cancer demeure aujourd'hui la principale peur des français. Le cancer est donc aujourd'hui un problème majeur de santé publique. Malheureusement, les traitements actuels restent encore trop souvent impuissants ou trop lourds par rapport au produit national brut de nombreux pays. L'utilisation de la photochimiothérapie ou Photodynamic therapy (PDT) dans le traitement des tumeurs malignes suscite actuellement de grands espoirs. Cette méthode physico-chimique est basée sur l'action combinée d'un médicament non toxique injecté par voie générale au patient et de la lumière visible délivrée localement au niveau de la tumeur. Le rayonnement va activer la substance sensible fixée préférentiellement sur les cellules cancéreuses et provoquer la mort des cellules tumorales en libérant des espèces radicalaires toxiques. Cependant, l'utilisation de ces photosensibilisants pose un problème de photosensibilité cutanée pouvant durer plusieurs mois, nécessitant de la part du patient une attention particulière vis-à-vis de l'exposition à la lumière solaire. Au cours de cette thèse nous avons réalisé l'évaluation préclinique d'une diphénylchlorine (SIM03) comparée à une molécule de référence en photochimiothérapie la meta-tétrahydroxyphényle chlorine (rn- THPC) et à une autre diphénylchlorine, le SIM01. SIM03 est porteuse de deux phényles au lieu de quatre sur une chlorine, à la différence du SIM01 ces phényles ne possèdent chacun qu'une liaison OH au lieu de deux. L'objectif de ce travail était d'acquérir l'argumentaire préclinique spécifique, à partir de l'analyse de SIM03, pour la définition d'un photosensibilisant ayant une pharmacocinétique rapide. L'étude pharmacocinétique in vitro-a. Permis de mettre en évidence une pharmacocinétique plus rapide de SIM03 comparée aux deux autres photosensibilisants (m-THPC et SIM01) dans les mêmes conditions. En effet SIM03 est fortement présent dans les cellules dès 1 h d'incubation où il atteint son niveau maximal. In vivo, en revanche vingt-quatre heures après injection, SIM03 décroît rapidement dans tous les tissus, pour atteindre un niveau proche de celui obtenu avec. Les témoins après 336 h. Cependant, le SIM01 possède une propriété importante par rapport au m-THPC et au SIM03 puisqu'il n'est plus détectable au niveau de la peau 144 h après injection (donnée importante en terme de photosensibilité cutanée). Une étude d'élimination, de cinétique et de biodistribution en HPLC et en fluorescence est nécessaire pour vérifier la présence potentielle de produits métaboliques pour le SIM03 et le SIM01. En HPLC, nous détectons pour le SIM01 un nouveau composé présent dans quelques tissus (foie, vésicule biliaire et selles), qui pourrait être un métabolite du SIM01, L'apparition d'un tel pic avec le SIM03 n'a pu être vérifiée pour les concentrations testées quel que soit l'organe. Concernant la cinétique de nos molécules, les observations en HPLC et la détection en fluorescence in vivo donnent des résultats comparables. Les profils cinétiques du SIM01 sont soit comparables soit plus rapides que ceux du SIM03, et le SIM01 est en général beaucoup plus rapidement éliminé que le SIM03 au niveau du foie, des selles, des reins et de là vessie. Les profils cinétiques sont similaires, à l'exception de la rate. Les deux techniques utilisées devraient être considérées comme complémentaires plutôt qu'exclusives. En ce qui concerne le maximum d'efficacité en terme de réduction de tumeur après traitement pour le SIM03, celui-ci est obtenu pour un délai compris entre 3 h et 12 h entre l'injection et l'irradiation, selon l'intensité d'irradiation. Sa forte absorption dans le rouge prédispose cette molécule à un large champ d'indications photochimiothérapiques. Le SIM03 absorbe dans l'UV et le visible avec un maximum d'absorption à 650 nm et une fluorescence à 650 nm. C'est un agent photosensible très efficace avec un mode d'action comparable à celui de m-THPC et du SIM01 mais avec une pharmacocinétique plus rapide que m-THPC et nettement moins favorable que SIM01. Son efficacité tant sur nos modèles in vitro qu'in vivo fait de ce produit un photosensibilisant intéressant. Par ailleurs, notre travail a permis de compléter l'étude préclinique du SIM01, un agent photosensible très prometteur pour la PDT.

The topic of this thesis is the design and realization of a modular Data concentrator for various types of measurements in diverse conditions. The device conception, basic principles, design and functionality are described herein. Also, the lightweight protocol design for radio communication, standardized XML format for data storage and cloud usage are described. The electrical design of the device as well as the design of the printed circuit board was made using the Eagle Autodesk electronic design automation software (Eagle Autodesk EDA). The control software written in C/C++ for a target microcontroller (ESP32-WROOM-32) is based on a FreeRTOS platform and ESP-IDF framework. An IDE for managing this software is Visual Studio Code with PlatformIO extension. Selected and used Cloud Platform is ThingSpeak from Mathworks, which uses certain components from Matlab platform.

After opening theoretic information about models, discrete and continuous simulations, computer technologies for systems modeling and individual phases of simulation process, there follows a case study, which demonstrates using of three software products for simulation modeling -- SIMUL8, Simprocess and Powersim Studio. Created models, experiments with them and given results, including well-arranged tabular comparison of mentioned computer programs according to defined criteria, point out strengths and weaknesses of each software. Simultaneously, data for selection of an appropriate program are presented, depending on a sphere type, which is simulation modeling to be applied on.

The issue of the work is use of simulation methods in real situation. First part of thesis belongs to explanation of warehouse technologies and simulation techniques used in the work. Follows a transformation of real enterprise warehouse to computer simulation model. The main part is focused on experiments on this model which solves real problems in this warehouse. Target of first experiment is to find solutions to shorten the waiting time of trucks. This is accomplished by series of experiments, which are compared and the best solution is selected. Another three experiments contains future or hypothetical situations in the warehouse. On the basis of the simulation results future steps and preparations are proposed.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and optimize production processes in a company which produces plastic components for the automotive industry. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes basic knowledge of business process simulation and addresses the reasons for making use of dynamic simulation as a tool for eliminating dissipation and supporting decision making. The main focus is an analysis of the current situation and identifies the problems in the company. For the purpose of optimization, a simulation model was created using Simul8, by the Simul8 Corporation. The model was made in accordance with the methodology described in the theoretical part of this thesis. It was used to examine the efficiency of proposed versions of the production schedule, in light of its impact on storage capacity and service level.

The aim of this work is to simulate and to try to predict a distribution strategy by opening the northern highway in the Czech Republic based on the current traffic flows and existing trends. The speedway R35 will be after the completion of all platforms the northern backbone route connecting Bohemia and Moravia. With an overall length of 260 km it will be the longest Czech speedway. Another attraction of this highway is the connection of four regional cities and six strokes crossing the motorway network. The prediction of traffic volume will have a task to reveal the simulation model of overt and covert traffic flows, including the approximate volumes of traffic. The author assumes that the completion of the R35 between Mohelnice and eastern Bohemia will have a strategic importance not only for relieving highway D1, but also due to the conversion of the distribution strategy in the whole country, including new opportunities for the construction of distribution centers strategically located.

Simulation models are used to analyse company processes. The purpose is to create a model in simulation software that will represent the behaviour of the company. Options to improve the current situation are investigated by observation of the studied system and subsequent experimenting with the model. This work deals with the situation in the company, which focuses on lease and service of working platforms. New headquarters is being built to provide better services and changes in offer of leased working platforms are being considered. Model of the company is created in software SIMUL8. Next step is to perform simulation experiment and summarize the results. Input values are adjusted according to these results, which leads to a more favorable solution. The aim of this work is to optimize the working capacity and improve the structure of offer of leased working platforms.

This diploma thesis deals with security in the hospital enviroment. The work creates a new evacuation plan for large-monoblock Hospital for adults in FN Motol. Evacuation plan covers all activities of the announcement of evacuation after the removal of the last patient from the hospital. For developed evacuation plan at workcompiled four simulation models in SIMUL8. With these models, theevacuation plan and tested models provide a quantitative value, according to which it can better prepare for possible evacuation. This thesis has fulfilled its purpose -- was created functional evacuation plan, and simulation models provide additional information as to which should be ensured smoother running of the evacuation.

This diploma thesis deals with the solution to a real situation that occurred at Nemocnice Na Františku in Prague. The problem is solved by using a computer simulation in SIMUL8 simulation program. At the beginning I describe the theoretical foundations that are afterwards used as a basis for the main practical part. The main subject of the work is a simulation of an operation of the hospital outpatient department. The hospital management decided to change the system for handling patients operations. I have created simulation models for particular workday and weekend means of patients serving operations. The created simulation models and their outputs are evaluated in the final part of the thesis and will serve as a basis for making reorganization decisions in the hospital. The provided advice for hospital management fulfills the goal of this thesis.

The diploma thesis deals with simulation of manufacturing of the order for production of 50 pieces of radial fans RFC 200 in company ALTEKO, Inc. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether it is under current conditions feasible to complete the order and deliver goods to customer in time. The order also includes selection of appropriate engine supplier using the methods of multicriteria evaluation of alternatives. The objective of the first three chapters is to familiarize reader with theoretical basis of multiple criteria decision making, simulation models and project management. The fourth part describes the concept of simulation program Simul8. The fifth part provides information about the company ALTEKO, its history and current business running. In the last chapter theoretical knowledge is used to real problem by using the most important tool simulation of manufacturing process. In the simulation current state of the manufacturing process is explored and proposals how to eliminate weak bottle necks of the process using the experimenting with the model. Based on the obtained results the possible solutions which should be helpful for improvement of company´s processes even in case that the order is completed in time will be proposed.

Aim of this thesis is to analyze the current situation, to identify bottlenecks and to propose improvements to the department of acquisitions in the selected financial company, which is an important part of the Czech market and which desire not to be named. In the first part of my thesis is provided to the reader a theoretical basis necessary to understand the following text. Then I create simulation models for individual teams, which take part in the mentioned department. These models are based only on average and total values. That is why in the next section, there is described the work to bring them closer to reality with shifts of administrators and the variable number of entities, which are processed throughout the day. Based on the analysis of calculated values, I propose two methods of redistribution of actions to reduce the number of employees and to increase their efficiency.

Simulation is an advanced tool to capture and simplify a complex system and it allows to track the effects of changes in it to function of the entire system. The aim of the thesis was to model the current function of the system and monitor the effects of changes by experiments with the model in order to find a new and better solution. In this thesis, the running of the client workplace of Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna ČR was monitored and the simulation was based on real data from May 2012. The simulation was performed using the software Simul8. The results of the base case show that the system leads to accumulation of entities and long time spent in the queue. Within experimenting with the model there were created 8 scenarios that modify some parts of the system. Firstly the results of the scenarios were compared to the base case and then they were compared with each other. The scenario that was chosen as the best, was better in most of parameters compared to the base case. The parameter with the worst value in the base case - time spent queuing for a normal counter - has improved by 62 % in the new scenario. This scenario was chosen as a new and better solution for the current system.

O objetivo deste trabalho passa pelo desenvolvimento de um modelo de simulação energético em que seja permitido analisar padrões de consumo de uma linha de produção industrial que fabrica fibra de madeira. Este modelo foi desenvolvido num software denominado de simul8. Este software permite a criação de modelos de simulação por eventos discretos, muitas vezes utilizado na simulação de filas de espera em call centers ou para melhoria dos layouts de processos produtivos. Nesta dissertação a abordagem foi diferente, pelo que foi necessário recorrer a programação em visual logic para se conseguir integrar os fluxos energéticos no software. Para a obtenção do resultado final foram recolhidos e tratados alguns dados que posteriormente foram introduzidos em Excel. Uma vez que o simul8 permite uma comunicação sincrónica com o Excel, foi possível enviar os dados para o simul8 e posteriormente, após a simulação, enviar os resultados para Excel. No final foram criados vários gráficos de consumo que podem servir como ferramenta para reconhecer alguns padrões de consumo e identificar possíveis fontes de problemas de consumos energéticos nos processos produtivos.
The objective of this work is the development of an energy simulation model that allows to analyze consumption patterns of a fiberboard production line. This model was developed with a software called SIMUL8. This software allows the creation of simulation models of discrete events, often used in the simulation of the behavior queues in call centers or improving production processes layouts. In this thesis the approach was different, so it was necessary to resort to programming in visual logic to successfully integrate the energy flows in the software. To achieve the final purposes of this thesis it was collected and processed some data which were subsequently introduced in Excel. SIMUL8 allows synchronous communication with Excel, so there is possibility to export Excel data to SIMUL8 and, after the simulation, import the results to Excel. At the end it will be created multiple consumption graphs that will serve as a tool to recognize some consumption patterns and identify possible sources of energy consumption problems in production processes.

A simulação é uma ferramenta que pode ser usada para analisar consumos energéticos num sistema de produção. O objetivo desta dissertação concretiza-se na abordagem da problemática de forma a estudar os consumos energéticos usando um software de simulação de operações – o Simul8. A abordagem foi feita tendo em conta o facto de o software Simul8 não considerar aspetos energéticos, pelo que foi necessário estudar uma forma de conseguir usar as potencialidades do programa e adaptá-lo aos dados energéticos de um caso de estudo. Combinando a simulação por eventos discretos com fluxos energéticos e mássicos permitiu estudar consumos energéticos num sistema de manufatura e as suas interações com a produção e o funcionamento desse sistema. Os resultados obtidos, expressos em gráficos, revelaram-se importantes ferramentas de análise de apoio á decisão para os processos de gestão de um sistema de produção.
Simulation is a tool that can be used to analyze energy consumptions of a production system. The main goal of this dissertation was to conduct the research on this subject in order to study the energy consumption using an operations’ simulation software - Simul8. This approach was used taking into account that the software Simul8 does not consider energy aspects, so, it was necessary to study a new method that would allow us to use the program's potential, adapting it to the energy data from a case study. Combining discrete events simulation models with energy and mass flows, we were able to study the relation between the energy consumption of a manufacturing system and its production and operation. The obtained results were represented in charts, and they proved to be a very important tool that would support the decision making of the management processes of a production system.

Neste trabalho verificou-se que o sistema atual de produção tem inúmeras falhas no planeamento e ruturas de stock levando a constantes mudanças no fluxo de produção. Estas falhas são descritas na literatura como sendo “normais” em sistemas de planeamento com base no MRP. Com base nesta situação, a ferramenta DDMRP tem sido descrito na literatura como sendo uma solução para a minimização e otimização dos fluxos de produção desde a redução dos níveis de stock e as oscilações relativos à procura do mercado tornando os sistemas independentes e reduzindo o efeito chicote ao longo da cadeia de abastecimento.Assim, com estes objetivos foi desenhado um modelo de simulação do processo de transformação química em espuma de poliuretano, por forma, a validar os ganhos possíveis da ferramenta DDMRP.Neste estudo verificou-se que o modelo desenvolvido apenas reflete o fluxo de informação e fluxo de materiais, no entanto, tem algumas limitações. Essas limitações são devido às simplificações utilizadas para o desenvolvimento inicial. As limitações são a utilização do lead time de fornecimento igual a todos os fornecedores e sem análise à possível rutura de fornecimento de um ou mais fornecedores, ausência da definição da capacidade máxima de armazenamento, ausência de histórico real de encomendas em relação à procura de blocos e, por fim, a conversão entre o consumo de matérias-primas relativamente aos blocos, que neste caso se verificou ser 15 vezes inferior ao real.Devido às diversas simplificações e limitações verificadas no modelo de simulação, tornou impossível a reflexão da utilização do DDMRP no meio industrial em estudo, já que os resultados obtidos não correspondem à realidade. Assim, é necessário implementar e desenvolver melhorias que ultrapassem as limitações descritas.
In this work it was found that the current production system has numerous flaws in planning and stock outs leading to constant changes in the production flow. These failures are described in the literature as being “normal” in planning systems based on MRP. Based on this situation, the DDMRP tool has been described in the literature as a solution for the minimization and optimization of production flows from the reduction of stock levels and fluctuations related to market demand, making the systems independent and reducing the bullwhip effect throughout the supply chain.Thus, with these objectives, a simulation model of the chemical transformation process in polyurethane foam was designed in order to validate the possible benefits of the DDMRP tool.In this study, it was found that the developed model only reflects the information flow and material flow, however, it has some limitations. These limitations are due to the simplifications used for initial development.The limitations are the use of the supply lead time equal to all suppliers and without analysis of the possible supply disruption of one or more suppliers, absence of definition of the maximum storage capacity, absence of real order history in relation to the demand for blocks and, finally, the conversion between the consumption of raw materials in relation to blocks, which in this case was found to be 15 times lower than the actual.Due to the various simplifications and limitations verified in the simulation model, it became impossible to reflect on the use of DDMRP in the industrial environment under study, since the results obtained do not correspond to reality. Thus, it is necessary to implement and develop improvements that go beyond the limitations described.

O desempenho das linhas de produção de uma unidade fabril é determinante no sucesso alcançado pelas empresas. Para tal, qualquer processo de produção que vise o sucesso está diariamente sujeito a melhorias de forma a aumentar a eficiência e a diminuir os desperdícios, ferramentas de simulação como o software SIMUL8 têm visto a sua importância reforçada.O projecto desenvolvido consiste na análise e melhoria das operações realizadas na linha de produção de um dos tipos de rolha produzidos na Amorim Cork, a Twin Top. Com as dificuldades que a empresa apresenta em conseguir identificar os estrangulamentos nesta linha de produção, surge a necessidade de recorrer ao software de simulação, de forma a facilitar a visualização dos estrangulamentos do sistema. Assim sendo e recorrendo ao software SIMUL8, foi desenvolvido um modelo de simulação da linha de produção em questão. O modelo permite assim quantificar estrangulamentos previamente identificados.O objectivo deste trabalho passa por numa primeira etapa analisar algumas teorias recentes ligadas à primeira etapa da Teoria dos Constrangimentos – Identificação do estrangulamento, escolhendo a mais indicada, para depois fazer a sua aplicação no modelo de simulação criado para analisar a linha de produção Twin Top da Amorim Cork, identificando correctamente os bottlenecks do sistema.Os resultados obtidos, revelaram-se importantes ferramentas de análise e apoio à decisão para os processos de gestão de um sistema de produção, cada vez mais importante no dias actuais.
The performance of the production lines of a manufacturing unit is decisive in the success achieved by the companies. To this end, any production process aimed at success is daily subject to improvements in order to increase efficiency and decrease waste. Simulation tools such as SIMUL8 software have seen their importance reinforced.The project developed consists of the analysis and improvement of the operations carried out in the production line of one of the types of cork produced in Amorim Cork, the Twin Top. With the difficulties that the company presents in being able to identify the bottlenecks in this production line, it is necessary to use the simulation software, in order to facilitate the visualization of system bottlenecks. Thus, using a SIMUL8 software, a simulation model of the production line in question was developed. The model allows quantification of previously identified bottlenecks.The objective of this document is to analyze some recent theories related to the first stage of the Theory of Constraints - Identification of the bottleneck, choosing the most appropriate one, and then applying it to the simulation model created to analyze the production line, identifying the bottlenecks of the system.The obtained results proved to be important analysis tools and decision support for the management processes of a production system, increasingly each day the importance of this subject. After all, if we don't improve continuously our concorrents will reach us, and then leave us behind.

Eniro 118 118 AB is Sweden's largest enlightenment company. The company provides numerous operator-based services in addition to their main service 118 118. For a service company like Eniro 118 118 AB, the telephone operators required to provide its services represents a significant proportion of the total expenses. It is therefore of great interest for the company to maintain these costs at lowest possible levels. The current business cycle along with competition from new companies and new technological possibilities for its customers has led to a situation where the importance of an efficient resource planning is becoming increasingly more significant. The dilemma lies in the complexity and versatility of the operating system. A large number of telephone operators with a unique set of core skills are working simultaneously in three different systems that interact with each other according to certain predetermined rules. To determine the number of telephone operators required at any given time for each service is very complicated.The purpose of this thesis is to provide the planning office in Sundsvall with a tool that facilitates the resource planning activities on a daily basis. This is to be done by constructing a simulation model that looks and behaves like the real system, combined with an easy-to-use user interface that allow planners to test various staffing scenarios in a safe environment.The first step was to accurately create an understanding of, and to record exactly how Eniro 118 118 AB´s telephone system is structured. A number of interviews were conducted with the supervisor at Eniro 118 118 AB, who also provided certain documentation and lots of statistics. Additional interviews with stakeholders in the planning office were made in order to clarify how the user interface was to be designed, what parameters to make adjustable, and the types of results to be presented. The simulation model has been developed in the Simul8 simulation package as requested by Eniro 118 118 AB. The model has been designed to handle all requirements defined by the company and offers a complete tool for testing different staffing scenarios in a safe environment that behaves just like the real system. The user of the simulation model specifies input data such as operator availability, phone call arrival rate, average operation time and setup time for each service. After being run, the model will present the following results; operator workload, level of service and average wait time. The simulation model communicates and is controlled by MS Excel, which means that users do not need to learn Simul8 in order to use the product. Considering Eniro 118 118 AB’s requirements for documentation, a manual has been prepared which in detail describes how the simulation has been constructed and how Simul8 operates. This is to facilitate a possible future scenario in which current conditions no longer apply and the simulation model needs to be modified.

Nos últimos anos, departamentos de urgência há volta do mundo têm-se deparado com o mesmo problema, sobrelotação. Com o objetivo de tentar reduzir os tempos de espera de pacientes, os autores usaram a ferramenta de simulação de eventos discretos "SIMUL8" para criar um modelo generalizado de um departamento de emergência baseado numa análise indutiva de casos de estudo. Com base nesta análise forma criadas e simuladas 34 variações do modelo base. Através da análise destes cenários foi concluído que melhorar alocação de recursos, ou aumentar os mesmos, são formas eficazes de diminuir os tempos de espera.
In recent years, emergency departments (ED) all over the world have been suffering from overcrowding. Tto deal with this issue by reducing patient waiting times, the researchers used the discrete event simulation tool "SIMUL8" to create a general model of an EDbased on an inductive case study analysis. Based on this analysis, 34 different variations of the base model were developed and tested. Through analysing the results of these scenarios, it was concluded that improving resource allocation and increasing the number of resources available to be the best ways to reduce patient waiting times.
