The Black Sea historically was the theater of rivalry between great powers, mainly the Ottoman Empire and Russia. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, rivalry on the Black Sea became much less intense as Russia weakened and NATO was not paying much attention to it. After the 2008 invasion of Georgia and the 2014 annexation of Crimea, NATO gradually resumed activity on the Black Sea, sending warships of non-littoral NATO members and conducting joint maritime exercises. Russia built a robust anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) bubble in Crimea and responded to NATO activation with provocative actions against NATO ships. At its most recent summit in Warsaw in 2016, NATO paid quite a lot attention to the Black Sea issue and committed to increase NATO presence in the area; nevertheless, the organization shared no signs of a clear strategy. This thesis discusses a potential alternative strategy for NATO, which is based on using its own strategy against Russia—with littoral NATO members and partners building a couple of A2/AD bubbles around the Russian one. The suggested strategy consists of the creation of a Black Sea defense coordination center, an integrated network of all source data exchanged, and the combined capabilities of robust land-based mobile anti-ship missiles, mobile air defense systems, and sea and air surveillance radars, as well as aviation and naval assets.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleStudying a genetic diversity, adaptability and stability of soybean genotypes are of extreme importance for breeding programs, since the identification of parents is impaired by the narrow genetic base of Brazilian soybean, and a recommendation of cultivars for the different regions is one of the main challenges for improvement. This dissertation is subdivided into three chapters, the first is the theoretical reference of soy, economic importance, genetic breeding and Asian rust. The second chapter was developed with the objective of evaluating the genetic divergence of soybean genotypes under natural rust infection. The experiment was carried out at Fazenda Capim Branco, UFU, in the 2016/17 harvest. A total of 14 genotypes were used, including 10 lines developed by the UFU Soybean Breeding Program and four cultivars (UFUS 7415, UFUS Riqueza, TMG 801 and BRSGO 7560) in a randomized complete block design with three replicates. It was concluded that there is genetic variability for all agronomic traits, except for the height of the first pod and plant height at flowering. The lineages UFUS 1117-01, UFUS 1117-07, UFUS 1117-08, UFUS 1117-09, UFUS 1117-10 presented resistance to Phakopsora pachyrhizi and were identified in components of plant height at maturity, number of pods, number of days to maturity and area under disease progress curve they were the ones that contributed most to a genetic divergence. Hybridizations were suggested aiming the resistance to Asian rust, the strain UFUS 1117-06 was present in all crosses. The third chapter refers to the study of the adaptability and productive stability of the 14 soybean genotypes grown in the 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 seasons. It was possible to conclude that the genotypesenvironments interaction is of a complex type for grain yield. UFUS 1117-01 lineage was identified as being of high stability produced by the methods of Eberhart and Russel (1966), Wricke (1965), Principal additive effects and multiplicative interaction (AMMI 1 and AMMI 2), and Centroid. UFUS 1117-07 genotype showed high stability by the methods Eberhart and Russel (1966), Wricke (1965), Lin and Binns 1988 modified by Carneiro 1999 and wide adaptability by Eberhart and Russel and Centroid. UFUS 1117-09 was identified as being adaptive to unfavorable environments by Lin and Binns modified by Carneiro, AMMI1 and Centroid, while UFUS 1117-10 presented adaptability to environments favorable to AMMI1 and Centroid and high stability by Eberhart and Russel.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleOur research examines the role of online offers credibility in the customer judgment process and its determinants. 294 persons were requested to express their perception of online book offers credibility which were composed varying on their source and also on a number of reputation signals. This quasi-experiment aims for measuring impact of these factors on offer credibility but also for investigating influence of this one on consumer interest in offer and consequently on his purchase intention. Statistical analysis bases on a SEM model. The most important research finding shows that credibility mediates effects of reputation signals on consumer interest in offer. This element of interest, in turn, executes mediating effect on the causal relationship between credibility and purchase intention. Other results indicate that all the 4 reputation signals are positively associated, at the same amplitude, with perceived offer credibility. These effects are additive, which suggests that multiply these signals must be essential way for improving credibility. We found otherwise that credibility is also affected by consumer trust on the source and his interest manifested on the product category. Effect of trust is positive and remarkable while interest in the category effect is negative, which reveals that people with better knowledge level may be more skeptic than others in judgment process. According to these results, our proposal on the importance of credibility element in e-commerce activities is clear: look after the offer credibility is the nexus of merchants selling performance

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe task discussed the consequences within the ship’s operation (economical costs and technology) companies will be affected with when IMO’s Ballast Water Convention enters into force and ballast water has to be treated before entrance to the Baltic Sea. The purpose with the task was to find out which consequences companies will be forced with when IMO’s Ballast Water Convention enters into force. The result compares the difference between law and recommendation because HELCOM’s recommendations are based on IMO’s Ballast Water Convention’s laws. A qualitative method has been used, such as an open interview form, where four different companies were interviewed. The purpose with the interviews was to see if the companies followed HELCOM’s recommendations and which consequences it would lead to and would be necessary when the Ballast Water Convention enters into force. The results showed that the costs would be extensive when installation takes place and it will require technical arrangements. The task also shows that the purchase cost only makes a small part of the vessel’s investment and ballast water treatment systems are almost totally maintenance-free.

To form a consideration set, consumers must pick out the preferable attributes that would help them to have easy-to-compare alternatives since they are limited by time, money and ability when dealing with information. A product could only be purchased when the product was taken into the consideration set. Therefore, it becomes crucial to any firms that take consumers’ preferences as the base of its product-buying recommendation and new products development plans. There are strong marketing strategic implications of a consideration set since the consideration set can be used at analyzing consumer behavior, brand loyalty and changes in market share. This paper attempts to construct two consideration sets in different modes, which stands for distinct strategic meanings. In the past, when a sales clerk was giving product-purchasing recommendations for customers, he could only make a random one to them due to his unawareness of his customers. However, with database marketing, purchasing history could be recorded and traced, and all information is updated and analyzed every time of a purchase. All these would benefit a firm by at least separating consumers into target groups, establishing marketing preference structures and reflecting heterogeneity and dynamics among consumers. In this regard, this paper is trying to utilize Logit Model and SUR Model to construct a new product recommendation system by giving the reserved sample to test the validity of recommendation and comparing the Hit Rate of these two consideration sets in both modes

The explosive growth of information makes people confused in making a choice among a huge amount of products, like movies, books, etc. To help people clarify what they want easily, in this study, we proposed an intelligent recommendation approach that integrates collaborative information and content features to predict user preferences on the basis of rough-set theory. The contribution of this paper is that our proposed approach can completely solve the traditional problems occurring in recent studies, such as cold-star, first-rater, sparsity and scalability problems. The empirical evaluation results reveal that our proposed approach can reduce the gap between user’s interest and recommended items more effectively than other existing approaches in terms of accuracy of recommendations.

Today in the 21st century environment, due to the popularity of computers and the social economic recovery, online shopping is getting that trend. In the traditional marketing system, almost every 10-20 years, will have new marketing system, to become a new method of selling product to the end of consumer. So, in the beginning of the 1990s, the prevalence of the Internet and e-commerce, so far, due to advances in technology, the popularity of computers and consumer demands of shopping convenience, and create the called”home economic”. Therefore, the online shopping market is increasingly prosperous development, while many consumers tend to price low, the convenience and security of the trading mechanism, therefore, the online shopping platform is not high consumer loyalty, in order to attract a wider consumer to purchase goods, and help enterprises significant increase in the website traffic and improve the network platform of consumer loyalty, this study will design a personalized recommendation mechanism, providing consumers with more refined shopping environment and service. In this study, a combination of rough sets and data mining of association rules, focus on the rules of dealing with uncertainty information generated to help the marketing decision-makers can accurately segment the market and the development of the rough-set based association rule algorithm, together with the relative weight of the concept of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the establishment of external and referral mechanism will be the appropriate product and platform path recommended to consumers, the end to see if it can change their consumption behavior.
