The SARS-COV-2 produced the severe acute respiratory disorders;(Coronavirus 2019[COVID -19] which is responsible for the global pandemic. Despite extensive research, there are still no specific drugs or vaccines to combat SARS-COV-2 infection. Amentoflavone compounds and its four derivatives (Isochamaejasmin ,Sikokianin B, Wikstaiwanone B ,Wikstaiwanone A ) were selected from Calophyllum inophyllum and Selaginella bryopteris. Five plant based anti viral compounds have been selected to examine the inhibitory profiles Via Molecular docking and ADMET analysis by using iGEMDCK Software and ADMETlab2.0 Respectively, for the evaluation against Covid-19 Main protease. This study results have shown very good interaction of plant compounds against the drug targets and H bonds have also formed to enhance the binding complex stability. Among the five compounds, higher binding value compounds have rejected, these compounds are not acceptable for Lipinski’s rule of five, therefore there are risk factors for the intake of these antiviral compounds. From this is study we can conclude that these compounds cannot be consumed. Keywords: COVID-19; SARS-COV-2; Main Protease; Molecular Docking; Selaginella bryopteris ; Calophyllum inophyllum , iGEMDOCK,ADMETlab 2.0.

Annotation:
Diabetes and its complications, such as delayed wound healing, are increasing at an alarming rate in India, putting an enormous strain on the country’s limited healthcare resources. Hence, the present study proposes to screen/identify the possible mechanisms and to study the effect of the flavonoid-enriched fraction of Selaginella bryopteris extract against human keratinocyte cell lines (HaCaT) and streptozocin (STZ)-induced diabetic wounds in a male Wistar rat model. Chemical profiling was performed by an MTT assay. The obtained GC–MS analysis results showed the presence of amentoflavone, gallic acid, imidazole, palmitic acid, catechine, L-fucitol, lupeol, and myo-inositol as the major bioactive phytoconstituents. S. bryopteris induces the generation of ROS, the condensation of chromatin in the nucleus, and changes in the membrane potential of mitochondria in HaCaT cell lines. An S. bryopteris-dependent induction of apoptosis-mediated cell death in HaCaT cell lines was confirmed by an AO/PI analysis. Mitochondrial depolarization was reflected in JC-1 staining of cells. The wound size was reduced and epithelialization was enhanced. Keratinocyte migration decreased interleukins, TNF-α, IL-2, and IL-6 and the expression of pro-apoptotic (p53, caspase-3, caspase-9, and Bax) and anti-apoptotic (Bcl-2) genes in a dose-dependent manner. Keratinocyte migration increased antioxidant enzyme levels (CAT, SOD, MDA, and GSH). Wound healing is facilitated through the mitochondria-mediated apoptosis pathway, revealing a new area of diabetic wound therapy.

Plants have been the foundation of several traditional medicinal systems all over the world to provide mankind with new remedies for thousands of years and still continue. In the ancient times human understanding about medicine was always near to some plant. It was the time when medicinal system was entirely based on plants. Among different medicinally useful plants one such plant is called Selaginella bryopteris L. in the botanical world and also known as Sanjeevani due to its magical medicinal properties. It is an herb which is traditionally used in many health-related problems like bacterial, viral, fungal infections, allergy, curing wounds, irregular menstruations and uterine disorders. According to some reports it is also used for fitness and better life span by the tribal communities of India. Different researchers across the country investigated and came up with its unique different properties and new possibilities every time. Apart from these Hindu mythological evidences are there which tells about its extraordinary potential of infuses life to dead. So, it is certainly a matter of more and more research to find out its ever-new hidden capabilities
