Der volle Inhalt der QuelleUnderstanding the work of Ibn al-Ṣabbāḥ, a Mudéjar of 14th / 15th century, makes it possible to identify the correspondences existing between the different works of riḥla and the specificities of an author of this period. His work is inseparable from his experience and the stories are told through the prism of Arab-Muslim identity. Thus, through the analysis of the author's personal writing, the claim of a cultural and political identity emerges, where the presence of others plays a very important role in the construction of the individual. In this context, a negotiation of identity an is highlighted by the author. This links the joint construction of space and an identity by inserting them in collective memory and with the aim fighting against oversight. Space appears as a perceptible factor from which self-representation is born. It then allows the emergence of an imaginary world that will be the most suitable to modeling the space according to the purpose that Ibn al-Ṣabbāḥ wants to serve. This author therefore provides us with a portrait of Mudéjar societybetween the end of the 14th century and the beginning of the 15th century, highlighting the identity issues of the time
Wayall, Seydou. „Le discours de Sayyid Quṭb, littérature et civilisation“. Thesis, Sorbonne Paris Cité, 2017. http://www.theses.fr/2017USPCA071.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleStudies relating to the production of Sayyid Quṭb are generally limited to his religious and political writings, which mirror his extremist views of Islam, and they thus obscure his literary production. Our research aims to study the works of Quṭb as a whole. It focuses on his discourse in various areas, be they religious, social, political or literary, as well as it takes into account the evolution in his views, in order to better highlight his changes of positions and his contradictions. It begins, in its first part, with the historical, socio-political and cultural context, within which Qutb’s work took place, before analyzing his religious, social and political views. In its second part, it addresses, at first, Qutb's literature in order to better grasp his literary vision. Then, basing its analysis on a narratological and semiological approach, this research goes on to analyze the novels of Quṭb, which are neglected by researchers, thus bringing into light the predominance of its “prophetic”, moral and didactic dimension. In its last part, we compare Qutb’s “Islamic” literature and his novels with his poetic production which is dominated by a romantic vision, so as to clearly highlight its internal contradictions

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis thesis is constituted with the edition, the French translation and the historic, thematic and linguistic commentaries of qâdî d'Azemmour al-Sanhâjî‘s text, entitled Kanz al-asrâr wa lawâqih al-afkâr (Treasure of secrets and fertile ideas). It provides a discovery of this nearly completely unknown author in Arabic world as in orientalist spheres. He has nevertheless a distinguished personality, thanks to his wide culture, his ability to organise learnings and to the originality of his smart and high thought. It gives also the opportunity to extend the knowledge in the Middle-Age encyclopedia's field because it can be defined as an invisible world's encyclopedia. Finally, this research permits a better understanding of how traditional dates (prophetic traditions, narrations, and scientific information) are transmitted in Maghreb during this period. It also points the importance of other representative texts, as the Makkî's Tafsîr, which is barely studied
Labbioui-Harrison, Camille. „Une quête problématique de soi dans le roman maghrébin contemporain : religion, sexualité, altérité“. Thesis, Sorbonne Paris Cité, 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016USPCA155.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThose undergoing colonization, surviving pre-independence turmoil, and profiting from the colonizer’s withdrawal by adopting its models, are not looking for an identity. Yet those who are not adaptable, blind to opportunity, or old, are prone to reject models requiring giving up clothing or other such aspects of tradition which, they believe, would grant them a sense of identity – if only their community became homogenous again. The pitiful protagonist in ʿAmal-fil (Year of the Elephant), by Morrocan author Laylā Abū Zayd, and three of the four aged protagonists in ʿUššāq Bayya (The Lovers of Bayya), by Tunisian author Al-Sālimī, have a fear of cultural pollution so acute that they make themselves even sicker than they already were, especially when it comes to money which “rots everything”. Zahra is neither softhearted nor sensuous, and her marriage is brought to an end when her suddenly rich husband takes a lover; and the other three secretly nurture a sexual fantasy about the same woman while the son of the fourth, a visiting émigré who grew rich in Germany, decides to marry her. Zahra eventually turns to God to assure a place for herself in heaven whereas the old men agonize in the dread of hell. By dismissing this fear before they die, the two men who had the easiest youth point to the nature of genuine alterity in their community. It is the perversity of a tradition validated by terrifying religious beliefs, which prevents friendships among adolescent boys and girls, then marries them off with no consideration for their tastes and aptitudes, and then invites the men to brutalize wife and children in compensation. Since very few ever recover from their childhood, the cycle starts again and the tradition survives

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis dissertation analyzes how Ibn 'Atâ' Allâh al-Iskandarî deals, in his writings, with the notion of sin, highlighting its positive, or salvatory, aspect, taking into account the contributions of previous Sufi writers who played a role in his spiritual education. After an overview of the situation in Egypt in the early Mamluk era, this work tries to draw the portrait of Ibn 'Ata Allah by treating some less known dimensions of his personality and demonstrating the importance of his works in transmitting the spiritual teaching he received orally from his masters, the founders of the Shâdhiliyya. Concerning the concept of sin, it is first analyzed through a lexicographical study, before retracing the ways in which it was addressed by Muhâsibî, Makkî Qushayrî, Ghazâlî and Ibn 'Arabî. The latter’s influence on Ibn 'Atâ’ Allâh, often minimized in earlier works, is demonstrated in more than one respect, both in the way he describes Adam’s sin and in his general approach tending to transcend the existence of an immutable duality between sin and obedience
