In this study we focused on the impact of the lower limbs laterality on the speed of the movement to the particular directions on the court. The main goal was to measure the time of the reaction ability to the particular directions (related to the specific movements of the badminton player) and to evaluate whether the differences are significant and related to the laterality of the probands in the research group. The research group consisted of 40 randomly chosen recreational players, 30 of them were righ- -handed and 10 left- handed. The results were elaborated based on the measurement made during the research of quick reaction abilities of the badminton players. The average time for the right-handed players to the front directions was 1497 ms ± 186 to the right and 1492 ms ± 171 to the left, to the back directions it was 1687 ms ± 339 to the right and 1743 ms ± 366 to the left. For the left-handed players the average time to the front directions was 1674 ms ± 288 to the right and 1635 ms ± 217 to the left, to the back directions it was 2289 ms ± 506 to the right and 1864 ms ± 370 to the left. After the processing of the results we can state that right-handed players have quicker reaction ability to the back right direction while left-handed players to the back left direction. In the directions to the front the differences are not that significant. Both right-handed and left-handed players proved quicker reaction ability to the left right corner. The important difference between righ-handed and left-handed players was measured for the direction to the back right corner (p = 0,0001), to the front left corner (p = 0,04) and to the front right corner (p = 0,39). The results of this study should be helpful for the preparation of the trainers and for the players themselves.

Nowadays there is research into molten salt reactors. The use of chlorine-based salts, which would be more available than known fluoride salts, is envisaged. The subject of research is not only the chemical and physical properties of chloride salts, but also their behavior in the neutron field and the influence of neutron balance inside the reactor. Many properties can also be determined using calculations that draw information from scientific nuclear libraries (endf). The purpose of this work is to compare important nuclear libraries with each other, and also to compare the reaction rates calculated from the library data with the reaction rates obtained by self-measurement. The preview will include a description of the necessary activities associated with the preparation of measurements, instructions for compiling the computer program NJOY and the process of the measurement itself. At the end of the work will be summarized the results and statements of which nuclear library is the closest in its values to the results of experiments.

The Master Thesis deals with the use of thorium nuclear fuel in accelerator driven systems. Basic principle of ADS, present situation and future possibilities are described in this work. The main goal of the work is determination of neutron flux in spallation target QUINTA. In December 2013, an experiment was performed at Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna. Samples of cobalt, situated at different positions in QUINTA target, were irradiated in secondary neutron field generated by deuteron beam of energies 2 AGeV and 4 AGeV and beam of C-12 with energy 2 AGeV. The samples were measured with the use of germanium semiconductor detectors and analysed using gamma-ray spectrometry. Reaction rates of Co-59 products were determined. Neutron flux was determined in setup QUINTA on the base of experimental reaction rates. Experimental reaction rates were compared with calcula1tion of MCNPX code.

Aim of magister´s thesis was to study reaction kinetics of dental materials. Thesis was focused on dimethacrylate dental polymers, which are for example used for dental restoration, tooth repair and creating now teeth. First part of the thesis concentrates on influence of molar ratio on reation kinetics by addition of other monomer to polymer resin. Second part concentrates on influence of addition of additive silica on reaction kinetics of polymerization. Essential variables know as a polymerization ratio, conversion, gel point, glass transition temperature and storage modulus were studied. Firstly, polymerization ratio and conversion were observed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Secondly rheology was observed by photoreometr. Finally, glass transition temperature and storage modulus were observed by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). Behaviour changes caused by addion of monomer or filler point out decrease of polymeration ratio and converstion. Same behaviour was observed by short exposure. In order to established network formation, values of gel point increased by higher concentration of monomer or filler. Glass transition temperature and storage modulus measured by DMA were evaluated. Those valuables had variable tendency due to monomer acting like filler at higher concentration. Also contradictory impact of different material conversion and filler concetration was discussed.

This dissertation focuses on irradiations of a spallation set-up consisting of more than half a ton of natural uranium that were executed by a 660 MeV proton beam at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Reserch in Dubna. Two types of irradiations were arranged: with and without lead shielding. Both types were arranged with threshold activation detectors (Al-27, Mn-55, Co-59, and In-nat) located throughout the whole set-up both in horizontal and vertical positions and activated by secondary neutrons produced by spallation reaction. The threshold activation detectors were analysed by the method of gamma-ray spectroscopy. Radionuclides found in the threshold detectors were analysed and reaction rates were determined for each radionuclide. Ratios of the reaction rates were determined from irradiation of the set-up with and without lead shielding. Subsequently, the neutron spectra generated inside the spallation target at different positions were calculated using Co-59 detector. The experimental results were compared with Monte Carlo simulations performed using MCNPX 2.7.0.

Title: Differences in reaction rate in children with ADHD and the general population of the same age. Problem definition: ADHD is a neuropsychological disorder occurring in part of the pediatric population (5-8%). The scientific public mentions the existence of the so-called hyperfocus, ie the ability to significantly concentrate in children diagnosed with ADHD, especially in the case of these children being interested in the task. Methodologically correctly compiled and performed testing of the reaction rate of these children could confirm or refute this assumption. Aims: The aim of the work is to find out whether and possibly what effect the diagnosis of ADHD in children has on the reaction rate. Hypotheses: H1: The reaction rate in individuals with ADHD will be on average the same or higher than in individuals of the same age of the healthy population. H2: The difference between the individual experiments will be greater in children with ADHD than in individuals of the same age of the healthy population. H3: The individual with fastest reaction ability with ADHD will have the same or better result as the individual with the fastest reaction of the same aged healthy population. Title: The measurement of the reactive time of czech elite tennis players in the junior category 15 - 19 years old. Objectives: The object of this thesis is to measure reactive time of elite tennis players, to determine mutual relations of specific factors. Methods: Research of a literature, questionnairies and people testing Result: In theoretical part, our thesis offers way how to improve reactive time in the way how scientific researches documents it. We focused on a testing of a reactive time of players in category of juniors in a practical part. The main requirement was to be within 30th place on the czech ranking. We tested these players on a simple and complicated subjects by the Vienna test system. Our research proved the dependence of the tennis on the reactive periode and the motoric reaction. Majority of probands was placed on a border above 84% of the population sample which was considered as a very outstanding result. We also proved that if are players influenced by permanent training of a reactive time their performance is improved. Key words: tennis, reactive time

PharmDr. Hana Sklenářová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Effect of flow rate on the kinetic and the possibility of evaluating different reactions in the SIA system The diploma thesis dealt with testing the effect of mixing and flow rate on the kinetic and the possibility of evaluating different reactions in the SIA system with spectrophotometric detection. Absorbance was measured for two kinds of chemical reactions with different reaction speed. For faster running reaction color change of bromothymol blue (BTB) with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) by the change in pH was evaluated by the increase in absorbance of blue form/decrease in absorbance of yellow form of BTB. The effect of flow rate and method of mixing (different sequence aspirations, different mixing ratio of working solution) was tested. The same parameters were also tested for slowly running two-step reaction of nitrites (D) with a diazo-coupling reagent (DKC). Furthermore, stop-flow technique was applied to see the effect of stopping the flow at certain parts of the flow system. The "sandwich" technique was tested too. MMeetthhooddss:: This master thesis was worked up as empiric quantitative research observation type. We have tested 15 participants of course "Přesuny na sněhu a ledu" and 16 participants of course for survival instructors. For testing we used four motoric tests which were prepared to find actual stress of probands, psychological test OPTIM and in the second course hematologic research. RReessuullttss:: Measured values demonstrate possible connection in two motoric tests where the results are getting worse in border stress and in the extreme stress. In rest two tests there was not proved any connection between the results of tests and stress.
