M'be, Cho. „Procédés de production et influence des propriétés fonctionnelles des poudres de calices d’Hibiscus sabdariffa et de leurs fractions sur la formulation de boisson“. Electronic Thesis or Diss., Université de Lorraine, 2022. http://www.theses.fr/2022LORR0274.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleHibiscus sabdariffa (hibiscus) is a plant with edible calyxes containing polyphenol and anthocyanin molecules that are both antioxidant compounds and responsible for their attractive red color for consumers. These particularities constitute a good health potential that meets the current market demands, and an economic potential for industries. However, this tropical and seasonal plant whose water-rich calyxes are highly perishable, sensitive to humidity and heat, and whose the interesting molecules (anthocyanins) are heat-sensitive and unstable in aqueous medium. In this context, the calyx transformation into powder allows, besides optimizing the transport cost and storage space, to stabilize the calyxes by ensuring a long product shelf-life, and to improve the biomolecule accessibility. This allows to benefit to its health assets provided that the process is controlled. One of the best ways to preserve the calyx original nutritional properties (anthocyanin content, antioxidant activity) is to obtain minimally processed products by combining controlled oven-drying, grinding and fractionation by sieving. This process was studied in this work and the powder physicochemical properties (particle size and shape, structure, porosity, fiber proportion, anthocyanin content, antioxidant activity) and functional properties (flowability, reconstitution, biomolecule extractability) were systematically evaluated for drink formulation. The interest of such a process is the ease of its implementation applicable to all plants, the powder ease of use, the improvement of the biomolecule availability and accessibility. This work allows identifying the impact of sun-drying and grinding on the powder physicochemical properties, the latter impacting the functional properties. The substitution of sun-drying by controlled oven-drying and an additional fractionation by sieving preceded by grinding allowed improving the powder functional properties. These powder functional properties were singular and allowed to distinguish specific applications for each powder type (fine or coarse powders)

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research studies the concept of fetishism as a magical relationship to products in the context of contemporary consumption. Fetishism is conceptualized as a multi-dimensional construct underlining the attribution of an aura and magical powers to a product. This research explores the way consumers develop fetishist relationships to products through exposure to puffed ads. To do this, this research introduces a conceptualization and a scale of fetishism in the context of contemporary consumption by conducting a qualitative exploratory study as well as two scale development studies. We also carry out a survey to show how product fetishism stems from transformation expectations about the product. Finally, we conduct an experiment to demonstrate the way a magical puffed claim in an ad influences the emergence of transformation expectations for the consumer. The results show that magical puffed claims positively influence transformation expectations only if the advertised brand is unknown by the respondent. The results also suggest that a known brand rather provoke transformation expectations through factual claims
Ou, Yafei. „Sur la stabilité par produit de convolution d'algèbres de résurgence“. Angers, 2012. https://tel.archives-ouvertes.fr/tel-01277192.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleVarious functional spaces take place in Resurgence theory multiplicative spaces of formal series expansions that one would like to sum; convolutive spaces of analytic functions, the elements of which coming from the former ones by formal Borel transformations, multiplicative spaces of analytic functions deduced from the previous ones by Laplace transformations, thus giving the Borel-Laplace transforms whose asymptotics give back the formal objects one started with. This thesis is devoted to the construction of convolution algebras. Our aim is to provide an original and self-contained proof of the stability under convolution products of the space of endlessly continuable functions, in a way understandable by any young searcher in the field. The second part of the thesis concentrates on the convolution space of endlessly continuable functions with simple singularities. We show how the use of the alien derivations bring deep knowlege on the singular structure We end our work with some problems, still open according to us but of great importance in practice and for which we think that our methods could be applied as well

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleCorrelation functions in conformal eld theory can be expressed with the help of the operator product expansion. The latter contains all the necessary information to characterize those theories. This expansion has given rise to the bootstrap equations. The bootstrap program has led to interesting numerical results but analytic equivalents have yet to be found. Some recent results introduced the inversion formula to the operator product expansion which allows one to nd the conformal data for the correlation function. Those relations need the complete form of the correlation function which are not usually known. This renders those inversion formulas hard to use for the bootstrap program. Here, we propose an integral transformation of the operator product expansion that uses the inversion formula. This gives us a way to relate the conformal data of the different crossing symmetry channels. In the case of four identical scalar elds, this relation can be used as a recurrence relation in two and four dimensions. This might validate known results and also nd some new systems.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe rough increase of competition and the technology evolution make more complex the design, the development and the launching of the products. Nowadays, the companies must focus on their own competencies, and outsource the complementary expertise needed for supporting the product innovation, which is required by the clients. Therefore, the product and its development are not related to one team or one company, but result from a multidisciplinary teamwork. Thus, a well structured multidisciplinary collaboration which evolve in the product lifecycle and supply chain integration, will answer these problems. In this context, a significant information set is created and used. The exploitation of this information generates communication problems related to the capturing, exchange and sharing between heterogeneous systems. Many systems are thus realized to answer these problems. However, the multidisciplinarity of the actors and the multiplicity of their viewpoints which they carry on the product are not taken into account in these solutions. The objective of this thesis work is to define a methodological and implemental approach which answers to the following problematic: “How can we do to capture and capitalize the interests, the objectives and the knowledge of the multidisciplinary actors? And how can we improve and make more relevant the exchange and the sharing of most adequate information?”. Those elements enable formalization of the various actors’ viewpoints, by capturing, adapting and transforming the most relevant information from an actor to another one. Thus, the integration from the actors' viewpoints will allow a more effective modeling of the products and processes, and a better communication between the multidisciplinary actors

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe statistical and bibliographical sources show that the Greek Industry of the last 50 years is not a field of ruins which the recent crisis would have finished destroying. It has followed the general evolution in the world of the industrial product towards the industrial service and the immaterial or cultural forms and thereby escaped to historians sight. It holds in Greece a place similar to that hold in the European Union. Its specialization strongly increased because of its insertion in competitive spaces and because of the crisis. It occupies original spaces in Greece, which favor the evolution of the product and its distribution on the whole territory, far from the traditional opposition between Athens and the province. His Diaspora in the world helped to build aparticularly opened foreign trade. The company is the geometrical place of the growth, as it is of the adaptation to the crisis, particularly violent since 2010. The company led the industrial restructuring, the reduction of the employment and the modification of the forms of employment, but also the recovery of the productivity and the restoration of its financial autonomy. The latter is built in a original way, based as well on the family self-financing as on the practices of delaying payments of bank and administrative debts. These corporate strategies invite to a closer observation of the entrepreneurialité in Greece, its vigour, its characteristics in terms of size, legal form and employment. They point to the role of the family and its values in the historic construction of the entrepreneurial spirit, in properties of some branches of industry, in the relation between companies and the State

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleStreptococcus pneumoniae is a gram positive human pathogen bacterium. Worldwide, it kills millions of people each year. Historically, it's one of the first model bacterium used in microbiology. For example, transformation was revealing for the first time in S. Pneumoniae. The natural transformation represents the capacity of certain bacteria to be got of exogenous DNA from the medium, to admit it in their cytoplasm to finally integrate it into their genome. All the machineries necessary for the development of transformation are organized only if the cells develop a particular physiological state named competence. The competence (com) regulon is controlled by a complexe network. The com regulon is made of two classes of gene, so-called early and late. The former class relies on ComE (presumably ComE-P) for expression while the latter depends on ComX. We were particularly interested in this study about the DprA protein, encoded by a late gene to which several drastic phenotypes are associated in S. Pneumoniae. This multi-functional protein is effectively associated to several processes as the protection of transforming DNA between its entry in the cell to the RecA-dependant homologous recombination or the shutoff of competence by inhibiting the activity of two major regulatory proteins, ComE and ComX. The existence of a such protein (which is conserved in all the transformable bacteria) strengthen the links which exist between competence and transformation

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleCriminal qualification is conventionally considered as a sub-category of the legal qualification and shares with it the same definition and the same characteristics. It is actually conceived as an intellectual operation and, as a consequence, thought out in its own dimension. This qualifying operation appears as a translation of the facts in law by the use of legal language. The researcher who intends using this qualification process as his purpose of study is necessarily confronted with subjects that are unfamiliar to him such as linguistics and cognitive psychology. To circumvent the difficulties inherent to these subjects, it is possible to make a paradigm shift to the approach of the criminal qualification. It can be forseen in the terms of the process. This concept allows to give the criminal qualification its institutional dimension and to consider it as the product of micro-decisions of actors in a network. Their respective actions form different stages of this complex process which ultimately leads to the criminal definition of a situation. This research proposes to implement the concept of process of criminal qualification in mass litigation, areas that are favorable to the observation of qualification practices. The analysis of these practices observed from empirical work has permitted to verify the hypothesis that criminal qualification is formed through networking. It therefore appears as the product of various actors/participants dealing with objectives and institutional constraints. From the concept to the exact qualification, criminal designation is the result of a multifactorial process

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleAccording to Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009, implemented in July 2013, the manufacturer must mention the Date of Minimum Durability (DMD), or if DMD exceeds 30 months, the Period After Opening (PAO) on the product packaging. At the present time, no text regulates the procedures applicable to the validation of a DMD or a PAO. Some guidelines are published by Cosmetics Europe, the National Agency for the safety of medicines and health products, the Scientific Committee for consumer safety, or the European Commission; but the evaluation remains at the discretion of the person responsible for marketing the product. In this context, this work proposes recommendations to establish a stability protocol in order to quickly determine the DMD. Experimental approaches on an emulsion representative of the major category in the cosmetics industry have been established. Organoleptic, physicochemical and microbiological stabilities were evaluated. The emulsion stability has been tested in accelerated conditions and in real time. A statistical approach has been proposed to evaluate the product shelf life according to its organoleptic properties. The sensory properties of the cosmetic emulsion changed differently depending on the temperature and the material in which it has been stored. A mathematical correlation between the results of studies under normal and those obtained under accelerated conditions has been proposed for some parameters. A microbiological study focused on the validation of a commercially available method, alternative to total count of aerobic microorganisms, normed by the ISO 21149 for cosmetic application. Once validated, this method has been used as an economical, quick and easy tool to evaluate the microbiological stability of cosmetic emulsions. Gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry was used to follow the degradation of antioxidant and preservatives. To take into account the photostability of the emulsion, an analytical strategy was proposed to identify the mechanisms involved in phototransformation reactions. The study focused on two molecules: dehydroacetic acid and alpha-tocopherol. Both gas chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) and liquid chromatography coupled with ultrahigh resolution mass spectrometry (LC-UHR-MS) were used for the separation and the structural identification of photoproducts. The main photoproducts were detected in the reference emulsion after UV-visible irradiation, thus showing the possible formation of photoproducts in a complex oil/water emulsion. Both in silico and in vitro toxicity tests highlighted the need for taking into account the potential formation of photoproducts in the safety evaluation of a cosmetic product

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleDisinfection of swimming pool water is critical to prevent outbreaks of infectious diseases. However, disinfectants react with organic compounds present in water, including anthropogenic inputs (e.g. body fluids, sunscreens), leading to the formation of disinfection byproducts (DBPs) that have been linked to adverse health effects. Little is known about the fate of organic UV filters, present in sunscreens and personal care products, when introduced into chlorinated seawater swimming pools. The aims of the present study were to investigate the reactivity of five commonly used organic UV filters in chlorinated seawater, identify DBPs generated from the UV filters, analyze the occurrence of these DBPs in seawater swimming pools, and examine their genotoxicity. Chlorination experiments were conducted to analyze the reactivity of the UV filters oxybenzone (OXY), dioxybenzone (DIOXY), avobenzone (AVO), octyl methoxycinnamate (OMC), and octocrylene (OC) in reconstituted seawater. All the studied UV filters except OC were degraded in chlorinated seawater resulting in the formation of brominated DBPs. Based on the identified byproducts, transformation pathways were proposed. The occurrence of the identified DBPs was investigated in seawater pools. Several brominated DBPs were identified in seawater pool samples. The genotoxicity of bromal hydrate (BH), which was generated by the benzophenone UV filters OXY and DIOXY and detected in the investigated seawater pools, was assessed. BH induced genotoxic activity in the Ames test and in the comet assay. Overall, this study shows that UV filters can act as precursors for the formation of genotoxic DBPs in chlorinated seawater pools
Schers, Jules. „Economic growth, unemployment and skills in South Africa : An Analysis of different recycling schemes of carbon tax revenue“. Thesis, Université Paris-Saclay (ComUE), 2018. http://www.theses.fr/2018SACLA039/document.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis PhD thesis gives a numerical illustration of how a carbon tax affects South African GDP, employment, CO2 emissions and socio-economic inequality. It uses a “hybrid” computable general equilibrium model of an open economy in a one-step projection from 2005 to 2035. It models second-best economies, notably skill-related rigidities in the labour market and in production of electricity. Seven scenarios for recycling of carbon tax revenue are analysed, plus an option to invest a part of tax revenue in improvement of skills of labour. The analysis shows that under conventional assumptions about technological change, a carbon tax of around 100 ZAR2005 (18 USD2013) per tonne of CO2 will have little negative consequences for GDP and employment, when combined with the right type of tax revenue recycling: Labour subsidies and company profit tax reduction likely lead to the best macro-economic outcomes, though do not reduce inequality. Additional measures are needed to reduce “energy poverty”. To achieve South Africa’s NDC of the Paris Agreement, a carbon tax rate of around 300 ZAR2005 or 55 USD2013 per tonne of CO2 is necessary. However, this could have serious impacts on GDP growth. Also, without a change in the trend of increasing labour productivity, such lower GDP will lead to higher unemployment than in the reference case. An investment in skills of 7.5 billion ZAR2005 of annual Ctax revenue, with the objective of increasing access to high quality education and reducing the high skill labour shortage, if fond to have a very positive impact on GDP growth. However better calibration data is required. The findings of this PhD thesis furthermore call for thorough examination of what type of technological change could be expected for South Africa. Technological progress, consumer preferences and international circumstances limit the economy’s capacity to restructure and decarbonise and therefore to reduce negative consequences of carbon taxation for GDP growth. Proper assessment of future technological change is relevant for all sectors and inputs. Examples are given which show that energy and materials efficiency have an important role for future GDP growth under carbon constraints, because they determine the economy’s flexibility to reduce energy consumption and to substitute it, e.g. by labour. This finding normally holds not only for South Africa, but also for the rest of the world. These results also imply that international climate policy has to address technology transfer and the different potentials of national economies to decarbonise seriously
