The food crisis in Vienna in 1916–1918, the capital of Austria-Hungary in the last years of the First World War, is considered. In the interwar period, economic relations between Latvia and Estonia were mainly confined to foreign trade, although there were some investments in Latvia from Estonia, as well as tourism.
