Výber technológie zhotovenia vyľahčenej konštrukcie stropu prebieha zväčša vo fáze konštrukčného návrhu stavby. Vyľahčovanie vodorovných konštrukcií stavieb má priamy vplyv na zníženie stáleho zaťaženia, čím sa otvára možnosť vytvoriť a navrhnúť otvorené dispozície pre budovy aj optimalizovať základové konštrukcie. Príspevok ponúka stručný prehľad vyľahčených monolitických, prefabrikovaných aj prefa-monolitických bet.nových stropných konštrukcií stavieb. V príspevku sú prezentované parciálne výsledky prípadovej štúdie, v ktorej boli porovnávané vybrané varianty betónovej vyľahčenej stropnej konštrukcie z hľadiska hmotnosti aj nákladov na ich realizáciu.

Congenital paraesophageal hernia (CPEH) is an uncommon type of diaphragmatic hernia in the paediatric age. It can be asymptomatic, present with a variety of chronic gastrointestinal and respiratory symptoms or complicated by acute gastric volvulus with strangulation in serious cases. Its rare occurrence and presentation with non-specific clinical features may delay the dia­gnosis. The principles of surgical treatment are generally well established with anti-reflux procedures included. Traditionally, surgery has been done using an open approach. Recently, laparoscopic repairs with encouraging outcomes have been reported. We present the case of an 18-month-old patient referred to an outpatient Clinic of Paediatric Surgery with incidental X-ray finding of CPEH type II confirmed by CT scan. The patient underwent an elective laparoscopy accompanied with Nissen fundoplication. According to our experience and literature review, we suggest laparoscopic repair of CPEH as an effective and safe method of treatment in infants and children.

Príspevok poskytuje stručný prehľad vplyvu súťažného práva na duševné vlastníctvo, predovšetkým na licencovanie predmetov priemyselného práva, ktoré sú súčasťou technického štandardu. Opísaný je postup tvorby štandardov a tzv. FRAND záväzky. Príspevok sa venuje okolnostiam, za ktorých držiteľ práva duševného vlastníctva nie je oprávnený uplatniť zdržovací nárok voči nelicencovanému používateľovi. Následne popisuje, ako sa princíp „osobitných okolností“ odlišne interpretoval v judikatúre ECJ (Magill, IMS Health), postupe Európskej Komisie (Microsoft, Samsung) a rozsudku SDEÚ vo veci Huawei v ZTE. V závere konštatujeme, že základné právo majiteľa patentu nevyhnutného pre normu (práva vylúčiť ostatných) môže byť obmedzené na základe článku 102 ZFEÚ v dôsledku legitímnych očakávaní vytvorených u tretích strán ochotných rokovať o licenčných podmienkach.

Štúdia prináša prehľad vybraných momentov výskumu ľudovej čarodejnej rozprávky z perspektívy kľúčových osobností sociálnej a kultúrnej antropológie od klasického evolucionizmu po súčasnosť s prihliadnutím na dejiny antropológie umenia. Najväčší prínos antropologického prístupu je v jeho transkultúrnej šírke a schopnosti vidieť slovesný folklór v celostnom kontexte: s akceptáciou biologických a ekologických faktorov, v psychologickej perspektíve, v sémantickom a performatívnom prepojení s rituálmi, náboženskými predstavami a sociálnym prostredím. Dôležité informácie priniesli terénne antropologické výskumy živých vystúpení rozprávačov v menej komplexných kultúrach. Z historickej perspektívy sme pomenovali tri fázy výskumu: hľadanie pôvodu, hľadanie podstaty a hľadanie kultúrneho kontextu ľudovej čarodejnej rozprávky. V štúdii upozorňujeme aj na paralelné výskumy v príbuzných odboroch. V závere vyjadrujeme presvedčenie o nemožnosti striktného oddeľovania disciplín, akými sú antropológia, folkloristika, filológia, lingvistika, literárna veda, ale aj prírodovedných disciplín, a to predovšetkým všade tam, kde majú spoločný predmet výskumu.

Príspevok popisuje východiská a impulzy rozvoja didaktiky biológie na Slovensku z pohľadu skúseností edukačnej a výskumnej práce na Katedre didaktiky prírodných vied, psychológie a pedagogiky PRIFUK v Bratislave. Cez stručný historický prehľad od povojnového obdobia až po súčasnosť upriamuje pozornosť na osobnosti, ktoré sú s formovaním didaktiky biológie úzko spojené. Poukazuje na niektoré spoločné problémy prírodovedného vzdelávania v kontexte spoločensko-politických zmien spojených so vstupom do EU a dôsledkami reformného úsilia s cieľom konvergencie vzdelávacích systémov krajín EU. Podrobnejšie sa venuje problémom v doktorandskom štúdiu a výskumu v didaktike biológie, od kvality ktorého sa odvíja aj úroveň učiteľskej prípravy budúcich učiteľov biológie. Konkretizuje zmeny v obsahu aj v štruktúre didaktických predmetov s cieľom zvýšiť kvalitu a funkčnosť prípravy učiteľov. V závere príspevku autorka upozorňuje na pretrvávajúce problémy didaktiky biológie, ktorých riešenie si vyžaduje potrebu vyššej miery spolupráce všetkých zainteresovaných zložiek.

Abstract Project COST Action FP 0804 - FORSYS summarizes European experiences in developing and applying decision support systems for forest management. This paper introduces FORSYS methodology for the classification of current forest management problems and for the description of existing decision support systems. The paper identifies the general forestry planning problems that need to be solved in Slovakia, lists the DSS tools available in Slovakia and evaluate their ability for addressing the identified problems. Finally, the research needs and gaps in this field were identified. A comparison of the situation regarding decision support in Slovakia and both in Europe and neighbouring countries (Austria, Hungary) is introduced in order to justify the identified needs. The paper is focused on the overview of models, methods and knowledge management techniques which are available in Slovakia now. We found out that the Slovak decision support research follows the state in Europe with a significant time delay and a lack of adequate instruments for addressing the contemporary planning problems exists. Consequently, there is a strong need for the development and application of computer-based tools to support decision-making problems in forest management.

Namen tega prispevka je osvetliti referenčno in diskurzivno delovanje nesestavljenega prihodnjika v indikativu v brazilski portugalščini v pripovednem besedilu Budapeste (Budimpešta) brazilskega avtorja Chica Buarqueja, hkrati pa ugotoviti, kakšno je besedilno okolje v smislu navzočnosti glagolskih paradigem v sekvencah, v katerih je mogoče zaznati pojavitev prihodnjika. Čeprav je Budapeste pripovedno besedilo, v katerem prevladujejo zlasti glagolske paradigme preteklostnega niza, je mogoče v štirih sekvencah s sedmimi pojavitvami opaziti tudi nesestavljeni prihodnjik v indikativu. Analiza teh sekvenc pokaže, da je pojavitev oblik prihodnjika znamenje, da se je pripoved usmerila v sedanjostno sfero pripovedovalca, torej v trenutek pripovedovanja. Ta prehod, ki ga signalizira tudi navzočnost prihodnjika s časovno vrednostjo »prihodnosti« in modalno vrednostjo »gotovosti« in hkrati »nedejanskosti«, se v sekvencah Budapeste zgodi tako v pripovednem postopku prehoda od pripovedi k opisu, v opisni sekvenci kot tudi v dialoških fragmentih, ko pripovedovalec uporabi postopek vključitve direktnega diskurza protagonistov pripovedi.

Recent 7xxx aluminum alloys have been designed for the finite use of thick semiproduct with contolled amount of constituent phases which mostly evolve during ingot preheat. In this study, the effects of constitutional change and preheat conditions of 7175 and 7050 type alloys on the evolution of constituent phases [M-, T-, S-phase and dispersoid] are presented. The constiuents evolve depending on the constitutional effect, primarily the change of Zn:Mg ratio, preheat condition comprising temperature and cooling rate following preheat. T- and M-phase are reprecipitated during cooling after preheat, depending on the alloy constitutions. S-phase is evolved depending on the constitution and preheat temperature, rather than preheat cooling rate. Prominent precipitation temperature interval of constituents are discussed in view of quaternary phase evolutions. In addition, evolutions of dispersoids together with M-phase are discussed. Specific alloy designs and preheat conditions could provide controlled microstructures for the thick 7xxx semiproducts.

The effects of preheat temperature on mechanical properties and the microstructure of friction stir welded (FSW) aluminum alloy 5052 joints were studied in the present work. Heated air from Hot Gun was applied in front of the FSW tool to give the preheat on friction stir welding process. Preheat temperature was set 150°C, 250°C and 300°C. Mechanical properties were correlated and analyzed according to tensile strength, macro and microstructure. Defect free weldswere obtained at all preheat variations. The increasing preheat temperature produced the coarser grain size, it influencedthe little decrease both the tensile strength and hardness of joints.

Apabila kualitas yang dihasilkan dalam suatu proses atau pekerjaan pengelasan kurang maksimal tentu akan berpengaruh besar terhadap kualitas pekerjaan, tentunya juga terhadap keselamatan, baik terhadap keselamatan pekerjaan maupun keselamatan terhadap produk yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh proses preheat dan non preheat pengelasan terhadap kekuatan tarik dan kekerasan las SMAW. Dalam penelitian ini bahan yang digunakan berupa baja paduan rendah dengan tipe baja AISI 4340 dengan dimensi 20 mm x 180 mm. Proses preheating dilakukan dengan proses tempering pada suhu 3000C dengan waktu tempuh 1 (satu) jam. Pada pengelasannya dengan menggunakan las jenis SMAW. DC polaritas terbalik yaitu pemegang elektroda dihubungkan dengan kutub positif dan logam induk dihubungkan dengan kutub negatif. Jenis kampuh yang digunakan adalah kampuh V Ganda, dengan sudut 700, elektroda menggunakan E7016 dengan diameter 3,2 mm. Spesimen dilakukan pengujian tarik dan kekerasan. Dari penelitian ini ternyata pada kondisi preheat kekerasan yang didapat lebih rendah dibanding pada kondisi non preheat, sedangkan kekuatan tarik pada kondisi preheat didapat lebih besar dibandingkan pada kondisi non preheat. Kata kunci: Preheat, pengelasan SMAW, kekuatan tarik, kekerasan, Baja AISI 4340.

In this study, the fabrication of the desired SPR joints was investigated as a function of the preheat temperature and strain rate. To determine the optimum preheat temperature, Gleeble thermal analogue testing of 2mm thick magnesium AZ31 was used to assess the combined influence of preheat temperature and strain rate on the strength and total elongation of magnesium AZ31. Magnesium alloy AZ31 with a thickness of 2mm was preheated with various temperatures prior to self-piercing riveting. The appearances, cross-sections and mechanical tests of the SPR magnesium AZ31 joints were investigated. It was found that a preheat temperature of 180 to 200oC largely eliminated the cracking in magnesium AZ31 joints. The joint strength increases with increasing preheat temperature from ambient to 200oC. The strength increase is attributed to the reduction in joint cracking and an increase in mechanical interlock between the rivet and work pieces.

In an earlier study, a 3-D thermomechanical coupled finite element model was built and experimentally validated to investigate the evolution of the thermal residual stresses and distortions in electron beam additive manufactured Ti-6Al-4V build plates. In this study, an investigation using this robust and accurate model was focused on an efficient preheating method, in which the electron beam quickly scanned across the substrate to preheat the build plate prior to the deposition. Various preheat times, beam powers, scan rates, scanning paths and cooling times (between the end of current preheat scan/deposition layer and the beginning of the next preheat scan/deposition layer) were examined, and the maximum distortion along the centerline of the substrate and the maximum longitudinal residual stress along the normal direction on the middle cross-section of the build plate were quantitatively compared. The results show that increasing preheat times and beam powers could effectively reduce both distortion and residual stress for multiple layers/passes components.

This study was investigated the influence of preheat temperature and welding speed by a view point of microstructure of joining zone used by friction stir welding (FSW) between ductile cast irons and stainless steels. FSW conditions were carried out by change of tool rotation by 200, 400 and 600rpm, preheat temperature by non-preheat, 573 and 773K, and welding speed by 1~10mm/s. As a result, microstructure of FCD450 side became a pearlite structure changed by preheat condition. Also, stir zone (SZ) of FSW were crystallized the chill structure because of cast iron melted partially why SZ temperature exceeded the eutectic temperature. However, higher welding speed could inhibited crystallization and found the possibility of bonding between ductile cast irons and stainless steels.

<p><em>The objective of this research is to find out the effect of preheat on mechanical properties of the metal inert gas welding (MIG) on low carbon steel. The welding method uses a MIG welding on a low carbon steel strip plate specimen, in the V angle of 60°, using ER70S-6 electrode wire and CO<span style="font-size: 8.33333px;">2</span> for protection, the variable of this research is a preheat temperature of 100 <sup>o</sup>C, 200 <sup>o</sup>C, 300 <sup>o</sup>C and non-preheat. The test results showed that the highest Vickers hardness value is owned by the preheat 200 <sup>o</sup>C temperature with Vickers hardness value of 206.674 kg/mm<sup>2</sup>, the tensile test specimens with preheat 200 <sup>o</sup>C temperature variations have the greatest tensile strength is the average of 54.87 Kgf/mm<sup>2</sup>, the value of the highest impact energy on preheat 100 <sup>o</sup>C of </em>98.399 <em>Joules.</em></p>

Abstract Bench-scale investigations were conducted at Environment Canada's Wastewater Technology Centre to assess the feasibility of using biological activated sludge systems to treat fractionator sour water (PW5) and processor preheat steam vent water (Preheat) from the AOSTRA Taciuk Process when applied to bitumen recovery from oil sands. The PW5 wastewater sample was approximately 10 times more concentrated with regard to COD, TOC and ammonia concentrations than the Preheat sample. Phosphorus was lacking in each wastewater. High levels of cyanide were present in the Preheat sample and high levels of zinc in the PW5 sample. Aerobic treatment of the Preheat wastewater was shown to be feasible with regard to organic carbon removal. At a sludge retention time (SRT) of 20 days and hydraulic retention times (HRTs) ranging from 0.9 to 2.4 days, organic carbon removal of the Preheat wastewater in terms of BOD5 was greater than 95%. Nitrification was also achieved with ammonia removals of greater than 95%. The PW5 treatment system, operated at a 20-day SRT and HRTs ranging from 5 to 10 days, achieved BOD5 removals of approximately 90%. However, residual carbon levels of approximately 200-400 mg/L remained in the effluent. The addition of powdered activated carbon at the 5-day HRT level did not significantly improve system performance. Excessive foaming and effluent suspended solids losses contributed to operating problems. Nitrification was not established, possibly due to high influent ammonia values. Anaerobic toxicity testing showed that the Preheat wastewater was a relatively weak substrate which did not inhibit anaerobic microorganisms. The PW5 wastewater was toxic to these organisms and this was a substrate concentration-related phenomenon.

Machinability has been studied in terms of cutting forces, surface roughness and tool wear. Influence of preheat temperatures on chip morphology and roughness of chip back surface has been studied using scanning electron microscope and atomic force microscope respectively to get better insight of tribology at tool-chip interface. Based on overall observations, preheat temperature of 300 0C was found as the most appropriate parameter.

To control the welding residual stress and deformation of metal inert gas (MIG) welding, the influence of welding process parameters and preheat parameters (welding speed, heat input, preheat temperature, and preheat area) is discussed, and a prediction model is established to select the optimal combination of process parameters. Thermomechanical numerical analysis was performed to obtain the residual welding deformation and stress according to a 100 × 150 × 50 × 4 mm aluminum alloy 6061-T6 T-joint. Owing to the complexity of the welding process, an optimal Latin hypercube sampling (OLHS) method was adopted for sampling with uniformity and stratification. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to find the influence degree of welding speed (7.5–9 mm/s), heat input (1500–1700 W), preheat temperature (80–125 °C), and preheat area (12–36 mm). The range of research parameters are according to the material, welding method, thickness of the welding plate, and welding procedure specification. Artificial neural network (ANN) and multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) was combined to find the effective parameters to minimize welding deformation and stress. The results showed that preheat temperature and welding speed had the greatest effect on the minimization of welding residual deformation and stress, followed by the preheat area, respectively. The Pareto front was obtained by using the MOPSO algorithm with ε-dominance. The welding residual deformation and stress are the minimum at the same time, when the welding parameters are selected as preheating temperature 85 °C and preheating area 12 mm, welding speed is 8.8 mm/s and heat input is 1535 W, respectively. The optimization results were validated by the finite element (FE) method. The error between the FE results and the Pareto optimal compromise solutions is less than 12.5%. The optimum solutions in the Pareto front can be chosen by designers according to actual demand.

SummaryMilk powders were subjected during manufacture to the following treatments: low-, medium- or high-heat, indirect or direct UHT preheat, or no preheat. The Ca2+ activity–pH profiles of reconstituted milks (9% total solids, TS) in the pH range 6·06–6·98 and reconstituted concentrated milks (19·6% TS) and recombined concentrated milks (26% TS, 18% SNF, 8% fat) in the pH range 6·27–6·69 were determined. Statistical analysis of the results using a (– In Ca2+ activity) transformation was used to quantify the effects of pH, preheat treatment and fat incorporation on Ca2+ activity. pH had a dominant effect on Ca2+ activity and the effects of preheat treatment and fat incorporation were small in comparison. Depending on the batch of milk used for preparation of powders, pH accounted for 98·8–98·9%, 96·4–96·7% and 93·7–97·3% of the total variation in Ca2+ activity in reconstituted milks, reconstituted concentrated milks and recombined concentrated milks. The corresponding contributions of preheat treatment to variation in Ca2+ activity were 0·26–0·47%, 0·34–1·67% and 0·24–0·40%. The addition of fat to reconstituted concentrated milk to yield recombined concentrated milk with the same SNF: water ratio resulted in 0·03–3·71 % variation in Ca2+ activity. The results suggested that differences in heat stability among powders subject to different preheat treatments are not likely to be linked to Ca2+ activity.

A new analytical model of a quasi one-dimensional non-adiabatic dust flame is developed with the assumption that the particle burning rate in the flame front is controlled by the process of oxygen diffusion. In this model, the flame propagation mechanism is considered to be radiation, conduction, and convection. Algebraic equations defining the laminar flame speed were obtained in two limiting cases: lean and rich mixtures. The flame structure is assumed to consist of a preheat zone, a reaction zone, and a postflame zone for lean mixtures and a preheat zone and a reaction zone for rich mixtures. Under the lean mixture approximation, values of the flame speed, lean limit, and flame temperature were calculated by adding the radiation term; flame temperature in the preheat zone increased, while it decreased in the postflame zone. This phenomenon may be attributed to the radiative heat transfer from the postflame zone to the preheat zone. Also, when the radiation term was considered, the flame speed increased but the lean limit decreased. In addition, radiation in the rich mixture resulted in the increase of the flame speed and the gas phase temperature in the preheat zone, whereas in the flame zone, the gas phase temperature decreased. Calculated values of the flame speed and flame temperature are in a good agreement with the experimental data in the literature.

The aim of this work was to investigate the influence of five different cooling rates on properties of weld metal (WM) and heat affected zone (HAZ) of an API 5L X100 steel welded by GMAW. Bead on pipe (BOP) welds were made on 100x300 mm sections of a 15.8 mm thickness and 580 mm outside diameter API 5L X100 pipe, through five preheat temperatures (-30, 34, 100, 150 and 200 °C), aiming to obtain different cooling rates. Thermocouples were used to obtain the cooling time from 800 to 500 ºC (Δt8/5) during welding. The microstructures of base metal (BM) and HAZ were analyzed by light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Hardness measurements were made on the BOP welds in order to identify maximum and minimum values. As expected, due to the different cooling rates during welding, the distinct preheat temperatures have influenced the weld properties. Maximum and minimum HAZ microhardness, and weld metal hardness decrease as the preheat temperature increases. HAZ area, grain size of fine grained HAZ and coarse grained HAZ increase with increasing preheat temperature.

Aluminium has a good nature; corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and able to be recycled. But the connection with welding aluminum is difficult to do so we need the right way this study aims to determine the characteristics of the results of weld aluminum with large variations in preheat temperature and current. Aluminum Alloy AA 3003 TIG welded with Filler ER 5356, a variation current 110 A, 130 A, 140 A and preheat temperature of 75 degree celcius, 125 degree celcius, 175 degree celcius, then welds tested tensile, hardness, and microstructure. The results showed that the variation o f the current 110 A with a preheat temperature of 175 degree C has the highest tensile strength and hardness.
