This article addresses the problem of professional training of future psychologists. It is assumed that it is possible to find an optimal correlation between the acquisition of special knowledge and the formation of personal readiness of psychologists for professional activity. As demonstrated in the article, the character of this correlation depends on the use of a specific method of teaching, and more specifically, the conception of teaching oriented towards forming certain personal qualities. For the efficient education of psychologists it is necessary to make a systemic analysis of expected personal changes in the process and as a result of teaching them. In theory we are realizing an analysis of expected personal changes in the process and the result of teaching them in following modern conceptions of teaching: of programmed teaching, of problem-based teaching, of euristic teaching, of developing teaching, of media-education, of interactive teaching, of active social and psychological teaching, of person-oriented teaching, of experiential teaching. In this paper the author analyzes the main principles of resource-oriented teaching. Resource-oriented teaching creates the ground for the optimal combination of the requirements of professional preparation and personal development of psychology students.

In experimental psychology, the problem of non-acceptance of oneself, one’s environment, and the world around is one of the relevant issues. The author notes that the accepted in contemporary society popular opinions associated with self-acceptance often have manipulative or prescriptive nature and are the negative attitudes blocking the person activity and leading to its stagnation. The resolution of the stereotyped image of this phenomenon is possible from the perspective of historical-theoretical analysis of the study of self-acceptance. The paper presents various approaches to the understanding of self-acceptance by foreign and Russian psychologists within such psychology areas as neofreidism, gestalt-psychology, existential, and humanistic psychology. The author considers the changes in the study of self-acceptance, notes that despite different views of classical psychologists on the understanding of this phenomenon, they define self-acceptance as an active process promoting self-improvement and self-actualization of a person. This fact conflicts with the latent meaning of widespread life theses on self-acceptance. The paper emphasizes the possibility to study self-acceptance from the perspective of the subject approach as a phenomenon initiating the activity of a person in organization and regulation of own life activities, promoting further development of a person, its self-actualization. The author considers the controversial characteristics of self-acceptance as a subject characteristic: self-acceptance allows changing from self-understanding to self-improvement, at the same time, the high level of self-acceptance requires a particular level of development of the personal agency. The author notes the paradoxical understanding of the self-acceptance phenomenon largely within the frames of positive self-attitude, which can promote the “Self” image idealism and lead to intrapersonal regress.

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of differences in interpersonal interaction of representatives of different socionomic professions. The indicators of interpersonal interaction are procedural such as: primary contact, communication, relationships and structural and personal characteristics: motivational, emotional, volitional and cognitive. The following representatives of socionomic professions were studied: psychologists, teachers, journalists, social educators and managers. It is empirically determined that groups of psychologists, teachers, managers and journalists do not differ significantly in the manifestation of indicators of interpersonal interaction. They demonstrate sufficiently developed qualities that provide interpersonal interaction at all stages. As for social educators, they have a much lower level of procedural features of interpersonal interaction compared to other specialists. Significant differences in the manifestation of structural and personal characteristics of interpersonal interaction between all groups of subjects were revealed. Social educators understand other people better than representatives of all other professions, are able to resolve interpersonal conflicts. Much worse, but this characteristic will also be sufficiently demonstrated by teachers, psychologists and managers. Journalists have difficulty resolving interpersonal conflicts. The specificity of interpersonal interaction of representatives of socionomic professions is emphasized.Key words: interpersonal interaction, primary contact, communication, relations, structural-personal features, socionomic professions.

Batarshev), “Self-assessment of the creative potential of the individual” (N.P. Fetiskin, V.V. Kozlov, G.M. Manuylov), “Nonverbal creativity level diagnostics” (E.P. Torrance). The purpose of the study was to determine and compare the features of creativity of pedagogical and medical universities students. The analysis of the results showed that students have a high level of nonverbal creativity, an average level of personal creativity and self-esteem of creative potential, and social creativity is slightly above the average level. Medical students have a higher level of social creativity compared to pedagogical students, and personal creativity, on the contrary, is lower. In addition, such parameters of personal creativity as imagination and complexity are statistically significantly higher for future psychologists; there are no significant differences in the parameters of curiosity and risktaking. Differences in self-assessment of creative potential among students of pedagogical and medical universities are insignificant.

Abstract Previous literature within applied sport psychology offers little detailed discussion regarding the personal qualities of sport psychology practitioners and the impact of these qualities on practice. This paper presents an exploration of the views of sport physicians regarding the personal characteristics and qualities of applied sport psychologists deemed necessary for effective practice. Five UK-based physicians and one Head of Medical Services, working in a range of elite and professional sports, were interviewed about their experience and perceptions of working with sport psychologists. The interview transcripts were content analysed and trustworthiness criteria applied. Four key themes emerged from the data, labelled ‘Personal qualities’, ‘Relationship Building’, ‘Professionalism in Practice’, and ‘Similarities between Psychologist and Physician’. The findings within each theme offered interesting insights into the impact of personal qualities on effective sport psychology practice. This study extends the existing literature on sport psychologists’ characteristics and effectiveness and offers new insights into their personal qualities and how these interact with the practice environment. The findings supported the growing emphasis within the field on the importance of the person behind the practitioner. Suggestions are offered with reference to the need to consider how literature from counselling psychology and medical training could assist the development of practice and education and training in sport psychology.

The article deals with the problem of personality development of a student-psychologist within the framework of a competence approach. The competence approach, in general terms, is based on the notion that a student must master a certain set of special competencies that include the knowledge, skills, skills and personal qualities necessary for further professional activities. In other words, in the process of training, the future specialist must master a unique set of professional and personal competencies, corresponding to his individual characteristics. However, most often in the educational process, the emphasis is not on developing the necessary personal qualities (competences). Relying on the main provisions of cultural and historical psychology, which most consistently formulated by V.V. Davydov, in particular, that the intellect and emotions should be in internal unity, and that the universal moments of the person's mental development are his education and upbringing, in this work a model is proposed for the development of the personal competencies of a psychologist student, which includes three elements: psychological Border of personality, emotional intelligence and self-relationship.

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical studies of the characteristics of the main structural components of the personality of codependent mothers of drug addicts. It is shown that codependency has several components: cognitive, personal, emotional and behavioral. The article presents the results of an empirical study carried out on a sample (n = 58, 29–60 years old, codependent mothers of addictive adolescents) on the basis of the Doverie rehabilitation center in Saratov. Appropriate diagnostic tools were used: a test to determine the level of codependency (B. Winehold and J. Winehold); diagnostics of emotional intelligence (N. Hall); self-attitude test questionnaire (V. V. Stolin, S. R. Panteleev); methodology “Index of life style” (R. Plutchik, G. Kellerman, H. R. Conte); methodology “Tendency to victim behavior” (O. O. Andronnikova). Statistical data processing was carried out through correlation analysis, comparison of two independent samples (Student’s t-test). It has been established that a codependent person, trying to control someone else’s life, completely devoting himself to another person, at the same time does not even realize that he has lost control over his own life, having lost interest in his needs, development, and self-improvement. Correctional work with codependent mothers can help the parent return to his own “I”. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be implemented in the diagnostic, consultative, corrective and educational work of practicing psychologists who deal with the problem of rehabilitation of codependent parents of addictive adolescents.

The article discusses and details the interpersonal compatibility of the physician and the patient in the course of their interaction, which is the basis of medicine, the platform on which the treatment process is based. An analysis of the concept of compatibility has been carried out, which is presented in domestic and foreign psychological literature. The analysis suggests that personal compatibility is a function of satisfaction with collaborative action, since it is initially necessary to interact, followed by compatibility, the result of which is rebuilt in satisfaction. By analyzing the statements of domestic and foreign psychologists, compatibility can be imagined in the form of an ideal combination of qualities and senses, resulting in the maximum result in carrying out various actions. Thus, personal compatibility is important in all types of social relationships, but it plays a special role in the long-term relationship between the doctor and the patient. The study concluded that the compatibility of the physician and the patient, as well as the building of an informed relationship between them, is significantly influenced by the presence of similar personal characteristics. The similarity of the personal characteristics of the doctor and the patient allows achieving the best result in their joint activity.

Most respondents held doctorates in clinical, counseling, or school psychology. Preferences for functions, areas of knowledge, and characteristics suggested discrepancies with APA standards for training. There was only moderate support for a scientific, quantitative orientation. Factor analyses identified six functions, six areas of knowledge, and two characteristics. Treated as composites, the intercorrelations suggested a further reduction into a practitioner-oriented and a scientist-oriented pattern. Over-all, respondents rated highest the personal characteristics of a practitioner (rather than scientist), knowledge of human development and of psychodiagnostics, and the appraisal function. When 10 selected agency characteristics were analyzed by composite scores, sponsorship of setting and typical age range of clientele accounted for the most differences. Implications for the professional identity of the major specializations, for education, and for practice were discussed.

AimsThe objectives of this study were to investigate burnout in a sample of Irish Hospital Consultants and its association with psychopathology (symptoms of depression and anxiety). We examined the effect of personality factors on the development of psychopathology in response to burnout and in relation to work-related stress among the participants.MethodThis is a cross-sectional survey, utilising validated psychometric measures. Self-reported online questionnaires were distributed to all hospital consultants registered with the Irish Hospital Consultants Association distribution list and were completed between September to December 2016. Questionnaires sought to determine demographic information; work-related characteristics; burnout related phenomena: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and a reduced sense of personal effectiveness (Maslach Burnout Inventory [MBI-GS]); symptoms of depression and anxiety (Depressive Anxiety Stress Scale [DASS]; and personality characteristics (Big Five Inventory [BFI-10]).ResultA total of 477 hospital consultants (Male = 56.6%) from hospitals in Ireland took part in the study. Of those studied, 42% reported high levels of burnout. The Depression and Anxiety Stress Scale revealed that Consultants were experiencing high levels of stress symptoms but comparatively low levels of anxiety symptoms. The study population scored highest on the conscientiousness and agreeableness subscales and lowest on the neuroticism subscale. Those who scored higher in the neuroticism subtype appeared to be at an increased risk of burnout.ConclusionThe prevalence of work-related burnout in consultants is of concern. The psychological burden of burnout is reflected in reported symptoms of stress and depression. Personality, particularly conscientiousness and agreeableness appears to impact the development of physician burnout. Strategies that modulate the relationship between personality and burnout may be beneficial for optimal health care delivery. Further research is needed to identify appropriate short and long-term strategies to ensure physician wellbeing and optimal delivery of patient care.

Clinical supervision plays a crucial role for professional development and is mandatory for trainees and qualified psychologists and psychotherapists alike. Its function and style can vary significantly and range from case management to the depth of reflexive supervision characteristic of counselling psychology and psychotherapy. While the literature has thoroughly described the purpose and the characteristics of helpful and unhelpful supervision, the relationship between the personal and the professional elements of supervision is largely ignored. Trainees often embark on their professional journey with an unclear and, at times, fearful sense of integrating the clinical and the personal. Yet, the two cannot be separated. This article aims to reflect on a personal journey in supervision and to bridge the gap between the professional and the personal. The reader can expect a very personal style of writing as I recount some episodes of my own learning and transformation, and I use the theory to make sense of that journey. Given that it’s in the intersection between the different selves that transformational learning is created, the profession ought to encourage and foster more transparent, reflexive dialogues.

The article discusses the motivational and personal characteristics of students in various fields of study from the standpoint of the mode «being» and the mode «having» (E. Fromm). In the modern world, there is a shift in the direction of development of young people’s personal traits from the mode «being» to the mode «having», which negatively affects the training of specialists in the «person – person» system. A specialist who has deep knowledge, but is more focused on material benefits, as opposed to a commitment to return, to help people, can be ineffective in many critical professional situations. The success of professional activity largely depends on psychological support during professional development, in particular, during the student period. This article presents research on the motivational and personal sphere (Milman's method) and the severity of indicators of intrapersonal conflict, as one of the possible factors of professional development (E. Fantalova's method) in students of managers, psychologists and various medical fields of study. Different levels of intrapersonal conflict, different total indicators of the main motives of students in different areas of study were identified. There were no significant differences between the groups of students in the mode of being and the mode of having. The analysis of the obtained factor matrix allowed us to determine the «mode of being» and «mode of having» with characteristic main motives and intrapersonal disintegration. Therefore, the purpose of psychological support at the stage of professional education is the student's awareness of their potential, prospects for personal and professional growth, the desire to search, creativity, and experimentation. A crucial element of this situation of professional development is the ability and necessity to make a choice, which means to feel your freedom, on the one hand, and your responsibility for everything that happens and will happen, on the other

The research of value-semantic basics of psychologists’ professional activity is topical for the science of psychology and its practice. The results of the empirical research are displayed in this article and the purpose of this research is the studying of the value-semantic component of psychologists’ professional activity. Planning the research we assumed from the hypothesis that the value-semantic basics of professional activity in the aspect of its main focus and its semantic integration are qualitatively different among the psychologists who differ in the degree of fullness of the meaning of life; as a resource of mindfulness so a tendency to professional self-realization here are proper characteristics for those psychologists who are more thoughtful and independent with the choice of their profession along with satisfaction of the choice of their profession. The sample of the research is a group of 89 practicing psychologists. The clustering of the methodological indicators by the parameters of existential fulfillment at the first stage both by the parameters of subjective quality in the choice of a profession at the second stage allowed us to describe the value-semantic component of the professional activity among the psychologists who are different in the indicated signs. As a result, we've made the conclusions that the valuesemantic basics of the psychologist’s professional activity have specificity which is depended on how much the professional builds his life generally according to his own meanings and values and how positively he assesses his own professional choice. Those psychologists who fill their lives with meaning to a greater extent are oriented towards how the psychological profession multifaceted is along with its helping meaning; they integrate the organization and semantic aspects in their professional context, link their personal and professional values and meanings and realize themselves professionally. Those psychologists who fill their lives with meaning to a less extent they comprehend their professional activity through more external parameters, and they are focused on homeostasis with the surrounding society. A resource of mindfulness, a tendency to professional self-realization and understanding how important their professional activity is and proper characteristics for those psychologists who are more thoughtful and independent with the choice of their profession along with satisfaction of the choice of their profession; the psychologists with an average level of expression of these parameters of the choice of a profession are characterized by a certain inconsistency at their emotional level both less pronounced meaningfulness, and also they keep a certain distance from people in tensed situations.

Using diagnosis we reveal the relation-ship between the individual psychological characteristics of the personality of students-psychologists and their predominant types of thinking: subject, symbolic, symbolic and imagina-tive. We obtain the analysis results using a five-factor personal questionnaire by R. McCrae and P. Costa which allows to make a personal portrait of the subjects by many factors: extra – version – introversion, attachment – isolation, self-control – impulsiveness, emotional stability-instability, expressiveness-practicality. We reveal the difficulties in the development of creative thinking, which meet students with a focus on the prevalence of one of the indicators in a particular pair. We present the factor analysis results of the obtained data carried out by principal component analysis with the construction of the correlation matrix and subsequent orthogonal rotation. Correlation analysis showed that the students' scale of creativity correlates with such indicators as imagination, creative thinking, activity – passivity, domination – submission, manifestation – avoidance of guilt, extroversion – introversion, credulity – suspicion, curiosity – conservatism, curiosity – realism, activity component. The article deals with the personal characteristics of students of psychological specialties. Attention is focused on the sex and age factors of the manifestation of early maladaptive schemas (EMSs) as an important complex of personality characteristics, which determines the possibilities and limitations of professional development. Schemas are considered as a risk factor that reduces the adaptive potential of a specialist in the profession and the effectiveness of his activities, and therefore they are an important unit of analysis in the field of labour psychology. The empirical study was carried out with 537 students of psychological directions of training and specialties, of which 83 respondents were male and 454 were female, aged from 16 to 45 years. The questionnaire «Diagnostics of early maladaptive schemas of J. Young» (YSQ S3R) was used in the work. Mathematical processing of the results was carried out using the Levene’s test by the method of analysis of variance. As a result, it was found that the signs of gender and age have a significant impact on the differences not only in the severity of the manifestation of EMS, but also in the complexation of EMS in each group of respondents. Depending on gender and age, the schematic profiles of boys, girls, men and women differ with varying degrees of severity of each scheme. There are EMS, which have a specific sensitivity to the effects of either the gender factor, or the age factor, or their complex. The results demonstrated in the work prove the importance of gender and age characteristics for determining the personal correspondences to the profession of a psychologist, as well as the importance of studying the personal determinants of professional success, both from the side of the desired characteristics and from the side of contradicting its requirements and negative ones. Clarification of the characteristics of EMS of psychologists, the factors influencing them, will complement modern scientific ideas about the phenomenon of EMS with regard to the conditional mental norm, and also reveal the problem of professionally important and professionally negative qualities from a perspective that is new for modern domestic psychology.

Abstract For some time now moral psychologists and philosophers have ganged up on Aristotelians, arguing that results from psychological studies on the role of character-based and situation-based influences on human behavior have convincingly shown that situations rather than personal characteristics determine human behavior. In the literature on moral psychology and philosophy this challenge is commonly called the “situationist challenge,” and as Prinz (2009) has previously explained, it has largely been based on results from four salient studies in social psychology, including the studies conducted by Hartshorne and May (1928), Milgram (1963), Isen and Levin (1972), and Darley and Batson (1973). The situationist challenge maintains that each of these studies seriously challenges the plausibility of virtuous personal characteristics by challenging the plausibility of personal characteristics more generally. In this article I undermine the situationist challenge against Aristotelian moral psychology by carefully considering major problems with the conclusions that situationists have drawn from the empirical data, and by further challenging the accuracy of their characterization of the Aristotelian view. In fact I show that when properly understood the Aristotelian view is not only consistent with empirical data from developmental science but can also offer important insights for integrating moral psychology with its biological roots in our natural and social life.

The strongest motivating factor is the preparation for further effective professional activity. Studying of research on the problem made it possible to make sure that students need to be taught to determine the main components, structure of scientific work, to determine their readiness for problematic studying, to learn to use the means of scientific activity, to be able to carry out experimental and research work. During scientific activity, particular attention of future psychologists is directed to ways of updating knowledge. The nature of motivation, as well as of cognitiveeducational, procedural and socioprofessional activity is fundamentally changing: instead of knowledge filling and retention, there is an independent search for a new material. In this way, increasing motivation and socioprofessional orientation are stimulated. Theoretical analysis and generalization of the experience of leadership of student scientific work made it possible to distinguish the personal characteristics of future psychologists in their readiness for scientific activity. The forms and methods of scientific knowledge of students - future psychologists are solved and the conditions of their use are determined. The key task of the study was to identify statistically significant differences in the groups of convicts serving their first sentence and those who had previously been convicted several times. The study involved 200 convicts. Comparing the differences in the groups of convicts, the author notes their specificity. In particular, high levels of dark constructs were identified from a group of repeatedly serving sentences in places of liberty deprivation. The presence of pronounced negative personality traits form a single global index of «dark personality». Scales of the «Dark triad» that reflect the negative personal core allow to quickly get the necessary indices and identify the mechanisms of convicts’ functioning serving sentences in correctional institutions.Prison psychologists need to take into account the high rates of negative constructs in order to implement psychological support measures for convicts throughout the entire period of serving their sentence.

Abstract. The self-regulation that people use in daily life has not traditionally been studied by educational psychologists. However, after Zimmerman showed the existence of common processes in different domains, experts have taken an interest in analyzing the self-regulating components common to different spheres (education, work, and health). This model considers personal self-regulation as a presage variable in the teaching-learning process. The Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ) designed by Brown, Miller and Lawendowski has been used most often in the research on personal self-regulation. Several studies have examined this instrument’s psychometric characteristics, leading to development of the Short Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SSRQ). This short version has been shown to be a plausible alternative to the long version, in a Spanish sample (Pichardo et al., in review). There is little research in the educational sphere that treats self-regulation as a presage variable; most cases have focused on the more restrictive variable of self-regulated learning. However, studies have shown the importance of including personal self-regulation, in its full sense, as a presage variable. We can infer that the interaction of personal self-regulation with other variables, whether personal (age, gender) or academic (learning approaches, coping strategies, academic selfregulation, regulatory teaching, resilience, etc.), constitutes an interesting, novel focus when analyzing the teaching-learning process at university. We have seen the value of this study, due to the importance of this variable and the dearth of research studies to date that treat educational variables and personal self-regulation. It has long been considered by sociologists and scientists such as Gabriel Tard, Jean Mason, etc .; Most of the interpersonal and social relationships of people in society with each other through verbal and non-verbal communication with each other, each of which has a special place in improving individual-social relationships. On the other hand, research shows that spiritual health and its related components have a direct role in improving the health process and people who have paid more attention to this dimension; They have had a healthier life. Familiarity with the effects of these relationships on interpersonal communication processes in issues such as counseling and psychology and often in the diagnosis of mental states, psychologists, and psychiatrists and behavioral disorders is of great importance. Since the Holy Qur'an attaches great importance to human beings and their place in society and interpersonal relations; Referring to the attributes and characteristics that are related to verbal communication, such as situationism, the art of good listening, prioritization, audience knowledge, and the practice of speech, encourages the speaker to engage in this type of behavior so that personal and social relationships are based on the Qur'an. Be healthy and productive.

Media coverage plays an important role in the political career of politicians. The news media attention that politicians receive depends not only on political and socio-demographic variables, but also on their communication skills and personal characteristics such as physical appearance. This study explores the effect of facial attractiveness on the tone of the televised news coverage of Israeli parliament members. Results demonstrate a positive association between facial attractiveness and the overall coverage. In addition, each unit increase on the attractiveness scale was associated with an increase of 34 percent in the expected number of favorable appearances on TV news, but this association was slightly above the accepted 0.05 criterion for hypothesis testing. There was no significant effect of facial attractiveness on unfavorable or neutral coverage. These findings are interpreted. Implications for journalistic practices, political consultants, and access to the public sphere are discussed.

Throughout their careers, athletes may encounter various changes that interfere with their existing “athletic status quo.” During these transitional periods, change can occur in diverse levels of the athletic experience. In this paper we introduce a “scheme of change for sport psychology practice” (SCSPP) to describe typical characteristics of athletes’ change-events and processes. The SCSPP focuses on: (a) the stages that unfold as athletes encounter and address changes in their careers, and (b) the psychological-therapeutic process that might facilitate an effective personal change. The process of change is evaluated in terms of its meaning and significance for athletes, the associated decisions athletes make, and fluctuations in cognition and affect. In addition, we describe a therapeutic framework that includes a number of processes of change as interventions, which may facilitate consultants’ attempts to guide athletes who experience change-events, and factors that moderate these attempts. Avenues for research and practical implications are also provided.

Introduction. The relevance of the study of psychological well-being and its correlation with the value-semantic sphere of the personality among students-psychologists is due to the need to train specialists in helping professions, who are able to carry out competent psychological support of the subject during a period of growing instability. The aim of the present research is to identify the characteristics of psychological well-being and its correlations with the value-semantic sphere of psychology students' personality in terms of personal values, basic semantic attitudes, self-actualisation of the personality, a dynamic system of life meanings for understanding and working out flexible supra-professional skills associated with self-organisation and self-development of career paths to maintain professional health.Methodology and research methods. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was the subject-activity approach to psychological well-being and the value-semantic sphere of the individual, developed by the Russian psychology, taking into account the scientific works of foreign authors. An empirical study was conducted among students-psychologists of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (N = 80) using the psychodiagnostic methods: “Scale of Psychological Well-Being” by K. Riff (adapted by T. P. Shevelenkova and P. P. Fesenko), “Self-Actualization Test” (by E. Shostrom), “Value Questionnaire” (by Sh. Schwartz), test “Meaningful Orientations” (by D. A. Leontiev), “System of Life Meanings” (by V. Yu. Kotlyakov), “Basic Semantic Attitudes” (by A. D. Ishkov and N. G. Milardova). The following methods of mathematical statistics were applied: correlation (Spearman's р) and factor analysis (principal component method), IBM SPSS Statistics 22 program.Results. The revealed significant correlations between psychological well-being, value orientations and semantic attitudes of psychology students confirm that the respondents' goal-setting is limited by the lack of a sense of independence, as well as the need to combine new and traditional methods for society to manage and control their activities. Self-actualisation of the individual is constrained by the presence of semantic attitudes of the respondents, reflecting their dependence on emotional support and the opinions of others. The results of factor analysis demonstrate the presence of five factors in the personality structure: the factor of safety and stability of life when it is meaningful and manageable; the factor of self-actualisation regardless of the environment; the factor of psychological well-being with the meaningfulness of personal development; the factor of manifesting concern for the well-being of loved ones with a decrease in exactingness and responsibility for them; the factor of achieving personal success with the ability to take risks.Scientific novelty. The authors made an attempt at investigating the correlations of psychological well-being with certain aspects of the value-semantic sphere of the personality among young specialists in the helping profession, for whom this area of the psyche acquires professional and personal significance.Practical significance. The results of the current research can be employed in the course of preparation and design of professional supervision programmes for students-psychologists, as well as in the process of development of over-professional skills associated with the reflection of young specialists of their own life-creating resources, located in the space of complex interaction of psychological well-being and value-semantic sphere.
