V tomto textu nejprve vymezíme dilemata a popíšeme proces jejich vzniku. Budeme se věnovat popisu dilemat v historii a to prostřednictvím šesti hodnotových a etických směrů. Nastíníme etická dilemata neboli problémy sociálních pracovníků tak, jak jsou pojímány v Etickém kodexu Společnosti sociálních pracovníků České republiky. V další části se budeme věnovat dilematům současné sociální práce. Zvlášť pak ve zkratce popíšeme dilema mezi právem a etikou. Celkem vymezíme osmnáct dilemat a ke každému uvedeme, jak se eventuálně mohou promítnout do práce s romským etnikem. Jedná o osobní zkušenosti autora a také o zkušenosti sociálních pracovníků. Také zde navrhneme možnosti, jak s těmito dilematy pracovat. Dylematy pracowników socjalnych związane z pracą z romską grupą etniczną W tym tekście w pierwszej kolejności zdefiniujemy dylematy oraz opiszemy proces ich powstawania. Skoncentrujemy się na opisie dylematów w historii za pośrednictwem sześciu wartości i kierunków etycznych. Zarysujemy dylematy etyczne oraz problemy pracowników socjalnych tak jak są ujęte w Kodeksie Etyki Pracowników Socjalnych Republiki Czeskiej. W części dalszej zajmiemy się dylematem współczesnej pracy socjalnej. Zdefiniujemy osiemnaście dylematów i podamy jak każdy z nich może rzutować na pracę z romską grupą etniczną. Przedstawione zostaną osobiste doświadczenia Autora jak i doświadczenia pracowników socjalnych. W tej pracy sugerujemy różne możliwości radzenia sobie z dylematami. Dilemmas of social workers with regard to work with the Roma ethnic group In this paper we will first define the dilemmas and describe the process of their their formation. We will describe dilemmas in history through six ethical value and ethical orientations. We will outline the ethical problems of social workers as they are included in the Code of Ethics of the Society of Social Workers oft he Czech Republic. In the next part of we will deal with the dilemmas of contemporary social work. We will define eighteen dilemmas and statefore each of them how they may eventually be reflected in work with the Roma ethnic group. The author’s personal experiences as well as the experiences of social workers will be presented. In this paper we suggest different options for dealing with dilemmas.

Abstrakt: Ačkoli téměř každý pedagog a pedagožka ví, že vzdělávací prostor je plný hlubokých emocí, které utvářejí interakce, nepodařilo se doposud poskytnout odpovídající pozornost souvisejícím otázkám ve vzdělávání učitelů. Existují však přístupy, které se snaží integrovat hlubinně-psychologické aspekty do „běžného“ vzdělávání učitelů a učitelek pro předškolní, základní a střední vzdělávání. Zásadní význam zde mají koncepty, které přesahují teoretické informace, práci s příslušnými texty na přednáškách a seminářích a integrují v kurikulární a institucionální rovině problematiku sebeuvědomění a „reflexivního sebepoznávání“ do učitelského vzdělávání. Neboť jen díky živému spojení osobní zkušenosti a reflexe může být vědění z oblasti hlubinné psychologie využito kriticky-konstruktivně a může mít praktický dopad. Pokud jde o hledání vysokoškolského konceptu vzdělávání učitelů, bylo by velmi užitečné, kdyby se známý „spor škol“ mohl proměnit v kreativní dialog, který by zahrnoval nejen různé psychoanalytické směry, ale také různé přístupy z oblasti humanistické psychologie. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a set of activities for university teachers that will have the potential to improve the working life of teachers and overall, well-being. The theoretical part of the thesis contains knowledge about well-being, its determinants, sources, but also well-being in connection with health. The next part of the theoretical part deals with the issue of personal change of well-being, how an individual can positively and negatively affect well-being. The aim of this thesis is to compare subjective life satisfaction of children at 5th and 9th grades of primary schools in Hradec Králové. The thesis focuses mainly on the way of spending their leisure time, satisfaction with the social contacts and family background, interacting in school, psychosomatic problems and addictive risks. The work compares the responses of individual years and gender of respondents. The thesis finds no significcant diferences between 5th and 9th grade. This thesis deals with the subject of life goals. It presents selected life goal theories and possible life goal classifications. Attention is also paid to developmental characteristics of life goals in the context of Theories of life-span development. Another related subject is meaningfulness of life - which is closely related to life goals. It outlines philosophical roots of this concept and some psychological theories. The last subject of the theoretical part is psychological construct of well-being, which is presented by selected theories. Empirical part of this thesis is trying to verify the hypothesis that there is a significant difference between the content of important goals of younger and older adults. It also examines the connexion between intrinsic and extrinsic aspirations and Life satisfaction. In order to attain this aim, we used two methods trough two different questionnaires - Satisfaction with Life Scale and Aspiration Index (AI). Samples were made by assessing answers of 962 Czech adult respondents, and the survey packet was distributed to participants online. The aim is to find different approaches by which people employed in the media approach their work and reconcile personal life with employment, as well as to identify and describe possible differences in attitudes between men and women. The method of qualitative research is semi-structured interviews followed by analysis through grounded theory. A sample of respondents made up of men and women who work in the media of various types, focus and reach at the time of writing this diploma thesis should help to get a comprehensive view of the matter.

This dissertation focuses on the psychological asepcts of non-professional choral singing, especially on the relationship between non-professional choral singing and well-being. At the theoretical part of the dissertation, choral singing and well-being are defined. There are also introduced selected concepts and contexts of well-being. The theoretical part of the dissertation concentrates primarily on the relationship between non-professional choral singing and well-being. There are, therefore, discussed researches dealing with the benefits of choral singing, motivation for choral singing and choral singing negatives. The theoretical part of the dissertation also deals with the other aspects of choral singing (characterics of a choral singer), social factors of choral singing and measuring of benefits of choral singing. The empirical part of the dissertation consists of two parts. In the I. part of the research (quantitative nature), the demonstration of the relationship between non-professional choral singing and well-being was tested. Choral singers (n = 148) were thererefore compared with the control group of non-singers in the level of well-being and experienced stress. Frequent comorbidity of mental disorders together with the latest findings in neurobiology have been drawing attention of health professionals over the past years to so- called transdiagnostic factors, including, but not limited to difficulties in emotion regulation and self-compassion. It seems that these factors play a significant role in the etiology of many mental disorders as well as in the maintenance of mental health and well-being. Objectives. The aim of this thesis was to theoretically discuss and scientifically verify the expected relationship between parental emotional warmth in childhood, self-compassion and emotion regulation. Sample and procedure. 440 adult respondents (141 men and 299 women) completed the questionnaire "My Memories of Upbringing"- Short Form (s-EMBU), the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale-Short Form (DERS-SF-CZ) and the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS-CZ) together with several demographic questions in an online survey. This thesis deals with the issue of quality of work life (QWL), namely the important factors of QWL in terms of the management of non-governmental organizations (NGO). Perception of QWL has a positive effect on job satisfaction, personal well-being and job performance (its productivity and quality). The aim of this mapping study is to determine the important factors of QWL from the subjective perspective. Expert semistructured interviews were used for this purpose. The results indicate that the identified factors are identical with QWL mentioned by individual authors and institutions. The following factors were identified: absence of stress, interpersonal relationships in the workplace, support from the organization, evaluation of work, working environment. The positively evaluated factors include good relations in the workplace, need and utility of service, and self-actualization. The problematic working factors are financial conditions, obligations arising from the legislative framework, uncertainty about the sustainability of services, view of society and the low level of spatial facilities. The thesis is dealing with the problematics of burnout syndrome and engagement in teaching profession in different types of schools and grades. Its objective is to detect the degree of burnout in a selected sample of teachers and map the main determinants of contentment related to engaged teachers. The theoretical part defines the concept of burnout syndrome, its development, progress, signs, causes and diagnostics. It clarifies the development of burnout in teaching profession. Furthermore, it describes the key characteristics of engagement, the diagnostic methods and the relationship between teaching and engagement. The empiric part has two goals: to find out the degree of burnout in teachers and depict the essential factors which contribute to their engagement. The research was based on questionnaires and interviews and answered the research questions. The results are presented in tables and graphs. In conclusion, there are some suggestions how to lower the risk of genesis and growth of burnout syndrome. The thesis focuses on the subjectively perceived changes in the lives of persons in the methadone maintenance treatment program, on their experiencing of the changes and subjective judgment of the treatment. The topic is treated according to the Bio-Psycho-Socio-Spiritual Model of Addiction. The theoretical part deals with the quality of life and the subjectively perceived well-being and defines six dimensions of well-being on which the practical part of the thesis is based. It also elaborates on the Bio-Psycho-Socio-Spiritual Model of Addiction in the context of the methadone maintenance treatment. Moreover, it describes the factors in life change and the motivation to change. The last theoretical chapter focuses on the opioid substitution treatment as such and more specifically on the methadone maintenance treatment. The practical part presents the results of the research. The aim of the thesis is to analyse how the persons in the methadone maintenance treatment program in České Budějovice perceive life changes. A qualitative research was chosen for that purpose. The data were obtained through the technique of narrative interview. The research group consisted of four respondents who were on the methadone maintenance treatment program. The results show that the subjectively perceived changes in the lives of the persons in the methadone maintenance treatment program relate to five out of six dimensions of well-being. No changes were recorded in the dimension concerning the sense of life, in other words, even after a several month methadone maintenance treatment these persons perceive no goal of their lives. Important consequences for work with these persons can be drawn from that, especially for therapists in opioid substitution centres, who should develop spirituality aspects of persons.

TITLE: Sense of Coherence and Adherence to a Healthy Lifestyle of Academics in the Age Group 45- 56 Years ABSTRACT: The study examines personal resilience of the sense of coherence type related to healthy lifestyle adherence of university teachers between 45 and 56 years. The theoretical part deals with healthy lifestyle, its approaches and impacting factors with main focus on individual well-being and physical activity. Using the Stress Profile, the Resilience of the Sense of Coherence Type, and Self-assessment Scale SCL - 90 questionnaires, the study examines mutual relationships between personal resilience and health supporting factors of the observed target group. Based on the results of research, lifestyle changes are recommended toward the healthy lifestyle, emphasizing the need to increase regular physical activity.
