ABSTRACT The nar operon, coding for the respiratory nitrate reductase of Thermus thermophilus (NRT), encodes a di-heme b-type (NarJ) and a di-heme c-type (NarC) cytochrome. The role of both cytochromes and that of a putative chaperone (NarJ) in the synthesis and maturation of NRT was studied. Mutants of T. thermophilus lacking either NarI or NarC synthesized a soluble form of NarG, suggesting that a putative NarCI complex constitutes the attachment site for the enzyme. Interestingly, the NarG protein synthesized by both mutants was inactive in nitrate reduction and misfolded, showing that membrane attachment was required for enzyme maturation. Consistent with its putative role as a specific chaperone, inactive and misfolded NarG was synthesized by narJ mutants, but in contrast to its Escherichia coli homologue, NarJ was also required for the attachment of the thermophilic enzyme to the membrane. A bacterial two-hybrid system was used to demonstrate the putative interactions between the NRT proteins suggested by the analysis of the mutants. Strong interactions were detected between NarC and NarI and between NarG and NarJ. Weaker interaction signals were detected between NarI, but not NarC, and both NarG and NarH. These results lead us to conclude that the NRT is a heterotetrameric (NarC/NarI/NarG/NarH) enzyme, and we propose a model for its synthesis and maturation that is distinct from that of E. coli. In the synthesis of NRT, a NarCI membrane complex and a soluble NarGJH complex are synthesized in a first step. In a second step, both complexes interact at the cytoplasmic face of the membrane, where the enzyme is subsequently activated with the concomitant conformational change and release of the NarJ chaperone from the mature enzyme.

Naringenin (Nari) has antioxidative and anti-atherosclerosis effects, and activation of ATP-sensitive potassium channel (KATP) can offer cardiac protection. We hypothesized that Nari protects the heart against ischemia–reperfusion (I–R) injury through activation of KATP. Isolated hearts from adult male Sprague-Dawley rats experienced a 30-min global ischemia followed by 60-min reperfusion (120 min for the infarct size determination). The hearts were treated with Nari (NARI); Nari plus glibenclamide (GLI), a non-specific ATP-sensitive potassium channel blocker (NARI+GLI); and Nari plus 5-hydroxy decanoic acid (5-HD), a mitochondrial membrane ATP-sensitive potassium channel blocker (NARI+5-HD). The left ventricular pressure, lactate dehydrogenates (LDH) in coronary effluent, superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in myocardium, and myocardial infarct area were measured. Nari above 2.5 μmol/L improved the recovery of left ventricular function, decreased LDH in coronary effluent, and reduced myocardial infarct area. The SOD activity was increased and MDA was decreased in Nari-treated myocardium. The cardioprotective effect of Nari was canceled by GLI and 5-HD. In conclusion, Nari has a cardioprotective effect against I–R injury, which may be carried out through activating ATP-sensitive potassium channels in both cell and mitochondrial membrane, and enhancing myocardial antioxidant capacity.

This paper focused on access and use of agriculture archives at the Uganda National Archives and Records Centre (NARC) in Kampala. The objectives of this study were to identify the agriculture archives at the NARC, establish the number of MAAIF and NARI staff that consult the agriculture archives, assess researcher’s opinion on agriculture archives in promoting agriculture research, identify challenges of access and use; and make suggestions for enhancing access and use of agriculture archives at NARC. The study purposively sampled five NARC archivists, seven directors of the National Agricultural Research Institutes (NARIs) and 15 heads of departments in the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF). Data was collected using interviews, observations and document analysis. Data was categorised into themes and the content reported in narrative form. The findings revealed that the NARC had a limited collection of agriculture archives due to the fact that there was no mechanism to collect all agriculture archives from the creating agencies, including MAAIF and NARI. Neither was there a mechanism for promoting access to and use of agriculture archives. The study recommends that the NARC should have a spelt-out budget to carry out documentation, collection and promotion of access and use of agriculture archives.

Though Kantipur Publications, in its Website ekantipur.com, asserts that “the company firmly believes in the people’s right to right information (Homepage) it is not disseminating the right information instead it allocates stereotype gender roles. It is restricting women to precise territories such as homemaking, child-caring, food preparing, body decorating, entertaining herself and her male counterpart. By allocating traditional roles to women, Nari, cannot transmit the right information and work as an instrument of the social transformation instead it works to disseminate the male mindset/ideology. Findings of the study prove that Nari (Nov-December 2019) has proposed, transmitted and reinforced patriarchal ideologies which restrict women in the four walls of house and prescribe the traditional gender roles

The "Nari-Nari" Weaving Village in Rabadompu Timur Village, Bima City, is a community group engaged in the weaving industry which has been carried on for generations. During this time, Bima woven fabric products use yarn raw material that has been colored using synthetic dyes. Yarn with synthetic dyes has a more diverse color, the fabric coloring process is easier and the cost is cheap, but synthetic dyes are carcinogenic and harmful to the environment. The solution to the problems faced by using natural dyes obtained from plants. This activity aims to train the Nari-Nari weaving group in yarn coloring using natural dyes. The method used is training through several stages of the activity namely the stage of socialization of activities; the training stage of yarn dyeing and woven fabric production. The dyes used are yellow wood extract and mahogany wood. The results obtained in this activity are the colored yarn has a different color based on the extract of the dye and fixation material. In yellow wood obtained with a maroon red color on alum, black on tunjung and reddish beige on lime. In mahogany wood is obtained beige on alum, black gray on tunjung and beige on lime.

Abstract In this study, the fifth-generation Pennsylvania State University–National Center for Atmospheric Research Mesoscale Model (MM5) with three-dimensional variational data assimilation (3DVAR) is utilized to investigate influences of GPS occultation refractivity on simulations of typhoons past Taiwan. Two recent cases were simulated, including Typhoon Nari in September 2001 and Typhoon Nakri in July 2002. The GPS observation data are taken from the Challenging Minisatellite Payload for Geophysical Research and Application (CHAMP) and Satélite de Aplicaciones Científicas-C (SAC-C) satellites that provide several retrieved refractivity profiles in the simulated domain near the initialization time. Through 3DVAR, the observed refractivity can be quickly ingested into the model initial conditions to recover the information over the ocean. The initial moisture increments from ingested GPS refractivity soundings exhibit a maximum magnitude of about 1.5 g kg−1 associated with temperature increments of generally less than 0.2°C. The differences between the model local refractivity and the observed refractivity are less than 3% with a maximum magnitude of about 10 units. Pronounced increments from an occultation point are found within an influential radius of 500–600 km only. For the simulation without the assimilation of GPS refractivity (the no-GPS run), the simulated Typhoon Nari coherently moves southwestward toward Taiwan early in the simulation but then exhibits a westward track along the northwest of Taiwan after landfall. With GPS refractivity assimilated, the simulated westward track in the no-GPS run is closer to the west coast. During landfall, the cloud convection associated with the intense vortex core encounters the Central Mountain Range (CMR) and produces torrential rainfalls along its northwestern slope. Both the GPS run and the no-GPS run capture the observed feature of very intense rainfall over the southwestern slope base of the CMR later in the simulation, while the intensity as well as the track is improved in the GPS run. In the other case (Nakri), the simulated rainfall distributions, in general, are similar for both the GPS run and the no-GPS run; however, the GPS run exhibits a more pronounced low to the southeast of Taiwan, which results in more intense rainfall in the northeast of Taiwan as observed. Both GPS runs for Nari and Nakri show improved skills in 24-h accumulated rainfall prediction, in particular, at later stages, as supported by higher threat scores and smaller root-mean-square errors against observations over the island. This positive impact can be attributed largely to the fact that the accumulative effects from assimilation of initial GPS refractivity soundings are instrumental to model performance. A cycling 3DVAR scheme is also explored in the simulation for Nari to investigate the impact of complementary NASA Quick Scatterometer (QuikSCAT) near-surface wind observations on model prediction. When such observed near-surface wind is assimilated into reinitialization at a later integration time, the track prediction is further improved and thus the prediction for accumulated rainfall is improved as well.

Abstract Although there have been many observational and modeling studies of tropical cyclones (TCs), the understanding of TCs’ budgets of vapor and condensate and the changes of budgets after TCs’ landfall is still quite limited. In this study, high-resolution (2-km horizontal grid size and 2-min data interval) model output from a cloud-resolving simulation of Typhoon Nari (2001) is used to examine the vapor and condensate budgets and the respective changes of the budgets after Nari’s landfall on Taiwan. All budget terms are directly derived from the model except for a small residual term. For the vapor budget, while Nari is over the ocean, evaporation from the ocean surface is 11% of the inward horizontal vapor transport within 150 km of the storm center, and the net horizontal vapor convergence into the storm is 88% of the net condensation. The ocean source of water vapor in the inner core is a small portion (5.5%) of horizontal vapor import, consistent with previous studies. After landfall, Taiwan’s steep terrain enhances Nari’s secondary circulation significantly and produces stronger horizontal vapor import at low levels, resulting in a 22% increase in storm-total condensation. Precipitation efficiency, defined from either the large-scale or microphysics perspective, is increased 10%–20% over the outer-rainband region after landfall, in agreement with the enhanced surface rainfall over the complex terrain.

The present experiment was conducted at All India Coordinated Research Project on safflower, College of Agriculture, Indore, (M.P.) during rabi season 2015-16 to study the effect of date of sowing and cultivars on number of capitula plant-1, total seed weight, 100 seed weight, seed yield, biological yield, straw yield, harvest index, oil content and oil yield. The experiment was performed in split plot design using three sowing dates and three cultivars. The maximum capitula (31.26 plant-1) and total seed weight (25.11 g plant-1) were recorded with 1st November sown crop. The cultivar A-1 registered the highest 100 seed weight (5.42 g) which was significantly superior over cultivar NARI-6 and NARI-57. The highest seed yield (1565.42 kg ha-1), straw yield (7771 kg ha-1) and biological yield (9336.42 kg ha-1) were obtained under 1st November of sowing. The maximum oil content (35.36 %) was received with NARI-57 followed by NARI-6 and A-1. The highest oil yield (509.35 kg ha-1) was observed with 1st November sown crop. Based on the findings it is concluded that for obtaining maximum yield of safflower, use of A-1 cultivar and sowing done at 1st November is recommended.

St. Ambroise recorded maximum tree height (10.10 m) whereas minimum (2.47 m) was in Stirling. Shedding of leaf started from 29 th October (Nugget) and extended till 27 th November (Vitillo). Time of full bloom extended from 16 th March in Shahib to 23 rd March in Safed Perchinar. The longest duration (22 days) of flowering was recorded in Erevani and shortest (9 days) in Wenatchee. Time of fruit maturity was early (25 th May) in Shahib and late (26 th June) in Vitillo. Largest and heaviest fruits were observed in St. Ambroise (77.59 g) whereas smallest and lightest fruits were in Viva Gold (19.37 g). Maximum pulp to stone ratio was recorded in Safed Perchinar (33.21) and minimum in Nari (15.57). TSS content was maximum (19.56 °B) in Nari whereas minimum (10.73°B) in Anglo Arseni. Titratable acidity was recorded maximum (1.86 %) in AS-1 and minimum (0.76%) in IC 432145. Total sugar content ranged from 8.40 per cent in Anglo Arseni to 16.53 per cent in Nari. Total phenol content was maximum (89.57 mg/100 g) in AS-1 and minimum (70.41 mg/100 g) in IC432145. From the present investigation it may be concluded that St. Ambroise, Nari and Shahib can be used for gene source for developing new hybrid cultivars and St. Am-broise may be suggested for cultivation in wet temperate condition of Himachal Pradesh for its better quality.

Pakistan has been suffering from severe energy crisis for decades. Discovering new oil and gas fields plays significant role in alleviating the energy deficit. Exploitation and development of new fields for the country is very challenging due to economic, technological, social and environmental concerns. Hence, it is essential to assess the potential of hydrocarbon bearing formations using integrated analysis techniques in order to explore the resources efficiently. In this paper, we have analyzed Nari sandstone reservoir potential of the country. The key objectives of the study are to characterize petrographic, mineralogical and microstructural data through laboratory study on Oligocene strata of Nari sandstone in the lower Indus Basin. For this purpose, we collected several exposed outcrop samples from different stations in the onshore areas of Nari Sandstone formation. The work performed includes, the integrated study of petrography using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) along with Energy Dispersive Spectrometry (EDS) application. In addition, Quantitative X-Ray Diffraction (QXRD) analysis was performed. The results revealed that these sandstones were mainly composed of quartz grains, which are surrounded by calcite cement. EDS elemental sequence shows Calcium (Ca), Carbon (C),Silicon (Si), Iron (Fe), Magnesium (Mg), Aluminum (AI) and K (Potassium) in variable intensities in the samples indicating the presence of different minerals within these rocks such as quartz, calcite, clay and ferruginous cement. This study is the comprehensive collection of data of Nari sandstones that is essential to assess the potential of hydrocarbon bearing formations.

Shrub encroachment into grassland and rocky habitats is a noticeable land cover change currently underway in temperate mountains and is a matter of concern for the sustainable management of mountain biodiversity. Current land cover products tend to underestimate the extent of mountain shrublands dominated by Ericaceae (Vaccinium spp. (species) and Rhododendron ferrugineum). In addition, mountain shrubs are often confounded with grasslands. Here, we examined the potential of anthocyanin-responsive vegetation indices to provide more accurate maps of mountain shrublands in a mountain range located in the French Alps. We relied on the multi-spectral instrument onboard the Sentinel-2A and 2B satellites and the availability of red-edge bands to calculate a Normalized Anthocyanin Reflectance Index (NARI). We used this index to quantify the autumn accumulation of anthocyanin in canopies dominated by Vaccinium spp. and Rhododendron ferrugineum and compared the effectiveness of NARI to Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) as a basis for shrubland mapping. Photointerpretation of high-resolution aerial imagery, intensive field campaigns, and floristic surveys provided complementary data to calibrate and evaluate model performance. The proposed NARI-based model performed better than the NDVI-based model with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.92 against 0.58. Validation of shrub cover maps based on NARI resulted in a Kappa coefficient of 0.67, which outperformed existing land cover products and resulted in a ten-fold increase in estimated area occupied by Ericaceae-dominated shrublands. We conclude that the Sentinel-2 red-edge band provides novel opportunities to detect seasonal anthocyanin accumulation in plant canopies and discuss the potential of our method to quantify long-term dynamics of shrublands in alpine and arctic contexts.

The present experiment was carried out at All India Coordinated Research Project on safflower, College of Agriculture, Indore, (M.P.) during rabi season 2015-16 with the objective to test the effect of different sowing dates and cultivars on growth and yield attributes of safflower. The results showed that the cultivar A-1 accumulated maximum dry matter at 30 DAS, 60 DAS, 90 DAS and at harvest as well as took minimum number of days (86.58) for flower initiation, for 50% flowering (93.17) and for 100% flowering (99.67) as compared to other cultivars. While maximum plant height (125.54 cm), number of primary branches (10.33 plant-1) were recorded in safflower cultivar NARI-6 followed by NARI-57 at harvest. It was observed that majority of secondary branches (18.84) emerged under 1st November sowing followed by 15th November sowing. The maximum CGR and RGR received by A-1 which was significantly superior to other cultivars at up to 30 DAS, 30-60 DAS 60-90 DAS and 90 DAS-at harvest compared to other cultivar. It is concluded that cultivar A-1 and NARI-6, and 1st November sowing performed better in terms of above parameters and recommended for cultivation.

Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Model Analisis Miles dan Huberman berupa : pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data ,penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada busana adat dan tarian Kayiak Nari terdapat konsep matematika berupa konsep bangun ruang,konsep geometri bangun datar, transformasi geometri, konsep peluang, sudut dan pola barisan.

Massive destruction of carbonate rocks occurred on the slopes of Mount Carmel during the severe wildfire in 2010. The bedrock surfaces exhibited extensive exfoliation into flakes and spalls covering up to 80–100% of the exposed rocks; detached boulders were totally fractured or disintegrated. The fire affected six carbonate units – various types of chalk, limestone and dolomite. The burned flakes show a consistent tendency towards flatness, in all lithologies. The extent of the physical disruption depends on rock composition: the most severe response was found in the chalk formations covered by calcrete (Nari crusts). These rocks reacted by extreme exfoliation, at an average depth of 7.7 to 9.6 cm and a maximum depth of 20 cm. Scorched and blackened faces under the upper layer of spalls provide strong evidence that chalk breakdown took place at an early stage of the fire. It is possible to explain the extreme response of the chalks by the laminar structure of the Nari, which served as planes of weakness for the rock destruction. Three years after the fire, the rocks continue to exfoliate and break down internally. As the harder surface of the Nari deteriorates, the more brittle underlying chalk is exposed to erosion.

The use of expressive body languages, such as jumping and dancing, is often underestimated in Christian worship. Its existence is often labeled with the Charismatic church. This paper will discuss the use of dance and other expressive gestures in Christian worship based on the story of David jumping and dancing (2 Sam 6: 14-16). The method used in this paper is the study of literature. This study will analyze David's dance in the Old Testament and the essential meaning of Christian service. It may be concluded that David who jumped and danced could be used as a theological basis for body language in Christian Worship, as long as these expressive body languages are used responsibly with the faithful essential meaning of worship.AbstrakPenggunaan bahasa tubuh ekspresif, seperti meloncat-loncat dan menari-nari sering dipandang sebelah mata dalam ibadah Kristiani. Keberadaannya sering dilabelkan dengan gereja karismatik. Makalah ini akan membahas penggunaan tarian dan bahasa tubuh ekspresif lain dalam ibadah Kristiani berdasarkan kisah Daud yang meloncat-loncat dan menari-nari (2Sam 6:14-16). Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur yang menganalisa tarian Daud dalam Perjanjian Lama dan esensi ibadah Kristiani. Berdasarkan studi literatur tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Daud yang meloncat-loncat dan menari-nari dapat digunakan sebagai dasar teologis bahasa tubuh di dalam ibadah Kristiani, dengan catatan bahwa hal ini dilakukan dengan penuh tanggung jawab dan memiliki esensi ibadah yang benar.

The specter of Nari narrats the war scene where the battlefield glistened and blurred like vapor coming out of hell. The agony of widowhood and looking for their lovers are other nodal points of the research. Further, war invites violation which is very chilling issue and the performance of war is very destructive. The events are deeply felt with pain when Nari narrates the war scene in the form of spirit.

BackgroundAntidepressants exhibit a variety of pharmacological actions including inhibition of the serotonin and noradrenaline transporters. We wished to investigate whether genetic variation could be used to target or personalise treatment, in a comparison of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) with noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors (NARIs).AimsTo test the hypothesis that patients homozygous for the long (insertion) polymorphism of the serotonin transporter (5-HTTLPR) have an increased response to SSRI antidepressants but not to NARI antidepressants.MethodIn an individually randomised, parallel-group controlled trial, people meeting criteria for a depressive episode who were referred by their general practitioner were randomised to receive either citalopram (an SSRI) or reboxetine (an NARI). Randomisation was by means of a remote automated system accessed by telephone. The main outcome was depressive symptoms, measured by Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) total score 6 weeks after randomisation. The trial was registered with the International Standard Randomised Controlled Trials Number registry (ISRCTN31345163).ResultsAltogether 298 participants were randomised to receive citalopram and 303 were randomised to reboxetine. At 6 weeks follow-up, complete data were available for 258 participants taking citalopram and 262 taking reboxetine. We found no evidence to support an influence of 5-HTTLPR on outcome following antidepressant treatment. The interaction term for BDI score at 6 weeks was 0.50 (95% CI −2.04 to 3.03, P = 0.70), which indicated that responses to the SSRI and NARI were similar irrespective of 5-HTTLPR genotype.ConclusionsIt is unlikely that the 5-HTTLPR polymorphism alone will be clinically useful in predicting response to antidepressants in people with depression.

नाटकमा रङ्गमञ्च अन्तर्निहित हुन्छ भन्नुको तात्पर्य नाटकमा निर्देशन पक्ष हुन्छ भन्नु हो । साहित्यकोअन्य विधाभन्दा नाटक पृथक् हुनुको मुख्य कारण पनि यही नै हो । नाटकको मूल विशेषता नै यसमादृश्यात्मकताको उपस्थिति रहनु हो । यसले नाटकलाई प्रस्तुतितिर उन्मूख गर्दछ । नाटककारकोमानसपटलमा सर्वप्रथम मञ्चित भएर लेखिने नाटकमा नाटककारले स्पष्ट रूपमा नै विविध रङ्गनिर्देशदिएका हुन्छन् । नाटक लेखन नाटककारको एक्लो प्रयासले सम्भव हुन सक्ला तर प्रस्तुतिको क्रममा जाँदायसले रङ्गकर्मीहरूको सामूहिक प्रयासका साथसाथै प्रस्तुतिसँग सम्बन्धित अन्य विविध रङ्गप्रविधिको पनिअपेक्षा राख्दछ । यसैलाई यस लेखमा निर्देशन पक्षका रूपमा अध्ययन गरिएको छ । यसका लागि २०११सालबाट प्रकाशित हुन आरम्भ भएका नेपाली नारी स्रष्टाका नाटकलाई लिइएको छ । यस लेखमानिगमनात्मक शोधविधिको उपयोग गरिएको छ । यसमा नेपाली नाट्यजगत्मा नारी नाटककारकोऐतिहासिक सर्वेक्षण गर्दै निर्देशनका निश्चित उपकरणका आधारमा केही प्रतिनिधि नारी नाटककारकानाटकको निर्देशन पक्षको अध्ययन गरिएको छ । यसका लागि आवश्यकतानुसार प्राथमिक र द्वितीयकस्रोतअन्तर्गतबाट सामग्री सङ्कलन गरी व्याख्यात्मक र विवरणात्मक ढङ्गबाट अध्ययन र विश्लेषणकोव्यवस्थापन गरिएको छ । नारी नाटककारहरूले पनि रङ्गशिल्पलाई विशेष प्राथमिकताका साथ राखेर नाटकसिर्जना गरेका छन् र तिनका नाटकहरू निर्देशनका दृष्टिले उत्कृष्ट छन् भन्ने तथ्य नै प्रस्तुत लेखको मूलनिचोड हो ।

Increasing yield while minimizing environmental pollution in agricultural production is nowadays the primary concern in agriculture-based countries, including Vietnam. This study aims to assess the environmental efficiency and technical efficiency, as well as to determine the factors influencing efficiency of edible canna farms in Backan province, by using the stochastic frontier analysis and truncated regression, respectively. Data were collected from a face-to-face interview of 346 farmers in 2017/2018 production year. The findings revealed that the average environmental efficiency score was low, of 0.57 and 0.58 for Nari and Babe districts, respectively; while the technical efficiency was found to be higher than the environmental efficiency with 0.74 for Nari district and 0.72 for Babe district. In addition, the results of the inefficient effects and truncated regression model indicated that education, extension contact, and experience individually had a significant and positive effect on efficiency scores. Hence, the government should designate policies focused on the extension system to provide training and facilitate technology transfer for farmers.

Abstract Nari Formation is considered as one of the most important oil and gas exploration targets. These fine-grained tight sandstone reservoirs face enormous challenges due to their extremely low matrix porosity and permeability. Hence, in this regard, the study was carried out to collect the high-quality data on petrophysical properties along with mineralogy and microstructural characteristics and diagenesis. The experiments performed includes the petrographic study and scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction analyses. Besides, the measurement of petrophysical properties was carried out to assess the likely influence of the reservoir quality. The petrographic analysis shows predominantly fine- to medium-grained grey samples along with calcite, clay, lithic fragments and iron oxides. Further, the thin-section observations revealed that the quartz is a principal mineral component in all the analysed samples ranging from 52.2 to 92.9%. The bulk volume of clay minerals that range from 5.3 to 16.1% of. The porosity and permeability measured range from 5.08 to 18.56% (average 7.22%) and from 0.0152 to 377 mD (average 0.25 mD), respectively. The main diagenetic processes that affected the sandstones of Nari Formation are mechanical compaction, grain deformation, cementation and quartz dissolution and have played a significant role in influencing the quality of the reservoir rock. Overall, it appears that the primary petrophysical properties (porosity and permeability) were decreased due to the mechanical compaction, lithification, cementation, and framework grain dissolution. Based on the integrated mineralogical, microstructural analysis, and the laboratory-based petrophysical properties, the samples exhibited poor porosity, permeability, and moderate clay content, which indicate that the Nari Formation is a poor quality reservoir.
