Pons, Amandine. „Nouvelles méthodes d’accès catalytiques et énantiosélectives aux cyclopropanes fluorés“. Thesis, Normandie, 2017. http://www.theses.fr/2017NORMIR12.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe cyclopropane ring is present in many natural or non-natural bioactive compounds, whose biodisponibility and metabolic stability is increased by its structural rigidity. Besides, the fluorine atom displays singular properties due to its high electronegativity and its small size. This enables to modify the physico-chemical properties of molecules such as acidity, lipophilicity or solubility. As a consequence, fluorinated cyclopropanes represent interesting scaffolds since they combine the properties of cyclopropanes and fluorine atom. In this context, we were interested in the enantioselective synthesis of polyfunctionalized fluorinated cyclopropanes from fluorinated olefins and diazo compounds under rhodium catalysis. For this purpose, two types of diazo compounds were investigated: diacceptor and donor-acceptor. This methodology was further extended to the synthesis of chlorinated and brominated cyclopropanes. To highlight the versatility of these compounds, we then turned our attention to the synthesis of biorelevant targets, and more precisely aminoacids containing a fluorocyclopropane moiety. Indeed, their introduction into peptides could allow to modify their conformation and interactions with biological receptors. In that aim, the synthesis of an analogue of proline containg a fluorocyclopropane was developed. An analogue of leucine containing a fluorocyclopropane was also introduced in the minimum active sequence of neurotensin and shows a good selectivity for the NTS2 receptor. This opens up prospects for the development of new analgesics with less side effects. Finally, we examined the flow synthesis of diazo compounds. Nowadays, diazo compounds are scarcely used in the industry because they exhibit some toxicity, potential explosibility and instability, which restrict their storage. Flow chemistry may constitute an alternative to use them since their synthesis, purification and reaction is continuously made on small quantities at a time and do not require any manipulation from an operator. Hence, the hazards arising from the scale up of the cyclopropanation reaction are highly reduced

Zidane, Karine. „Techniques d’amélioration des performances des méthodes d’accès aléatoire synchrones pour les communications par satellite“. Thesis, Toulouse, ISAE, 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016ESAE0030/document.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleWith the need to provide the Internet access to deprived areas and to cope with constantlyenlarging satellite networks, enhancing satellite communications becomes a crucial challenge. In this context, the use of Random Access (RA) techniques combined with dedicated accesson the satellite return link, can improve the system performance. However conventionalRA techniques like Aloha and Slotted Aloha suffer from a high packet loss rate caused bydestructive packet collisions. For this reason, those techniques are not well-suited for datatransmission in satellite communications. Therefore, researchers have been studying andproposing new RA techniques that can cope with packet collisions and decrease the packet lossratio. In particular, recent RA techniques involving information redundancy and successiveinterference cancellation, have shown some promising performance gains. With such methods that can function in high load regimes and resolve packets with high collisions, channel estimation is not an evident task. As a first contribution in this dissertation, wedescribe an improved channel estimation scheme for packets in collision in new RAmethodsin satellite communications. And we analyse the impact of residual channel estimation errorson the performance of interference cancellation. The results obtained show a performancedegradation compared to the perfect channel knowledge case, but provide a performanceenhancement compared to existing channel estimation algorithms. Another contribution of this thesis is presenting a method called Multi-Replica Decoding using Correlation based Localisation (MARSALA). MARSALA is a new decoding technique for a recent synchronous RAmethod called Contention Resolution Diversity Slotted Aloha (CRDSA). Based on packets replication and successive interference cancellation, CRDSA enables to significantly enhance the performance of legacy RA techniques. However, if CRDSA is unable to resolve additional packets due to high levels of collision, MARSALA is applied. At the receiver side, MARSALA takes advantage of correlation procedures to localise the replicas of a given packet, then combines the replicas in order to obtain a better Signal to Noise plus Interference Ratio. Nevertheless, the performance ofMARSALA is highly dependent on replicas synchronisation in timing and phase, otherwise replicas combination would not be constructive. In this dissertation, we describe an overall framework ofMARSALA including replicas timing and phase estimation and compensation, then channel estimation for theresulting signal. This dissertation also provides an analytical model for the performancedegradation of MARSALA due to imperfect replicas combination and channel estimation. In addition, several enhancement schemes forMARSALA are proposed likeMaximum RatioCombining, packets power unbalance, and various coding schemes. Finally, we show thatby choosing the optimal design configuration for MARSALA, the performance gain can besignificantly enhanced

Thesis, Université Paris-Saclay (ComUE), 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016SACLS440/document.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleHepatitis C virus (HCV) is a public-health issue that drug users (DU) remain the major source of contamination in France. Conducting seroepidemiological surveys among this population to assess the HCV dynamic is difficult particularly due to their illicit practices. This population can be accessible through survey locations or can be hidden (who does not visit any location). To survey each part, we presented time-location sampling (TLS) and respondent-driven sampling. We presented TLS in the context of an indirect sampling and proposed a design-based inference taking into account the frequency of venue attendance (FVA) to estimate a total or a proportion. We recommend this method for estimating the prevalence of a disease in surveys among hard-to-reach populations, even if errors occur in the FVA reported by the participants. The ANRS-Coquelicot survey carried out in 2004 among DU attending centres providing services to drug users, then repeated in 2011, allowed us to estimate the HCV prevalence at 43.7%. Using these two surveys, we estimated age- and time-dependent HCV incidence from a mathematical model linking prevalence and incidence. This model consisted in combining a compartmental model with a regression model. The HCV incidence was thus estimated at 4.4/100 person-years in 2011. This method is an alternative approach to estimate incidence of a disease from cross-sectional epidemiological data in the absence of cohort or biological tests to identify acute infections. The decline in HCV incidence is to be expected given decreasing prevalence, recent developments in harm reduction measures and new therapeutic approaches despite a potential increase of at-risk behaviors
Ben, Hadj Fredj Abir. „Computations for the multiple access in wireless networks“. Thesis, Université Paris-Saclay (ComUE), 2019. http://www.theses.fr/2019SACLT030.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleFuture generations of wireless networks pose many challenges for the research community. In particular, these networks must be able to respond, with a certain quality of service, to the demands of a large number of connected people and objects. This drives us into quite important requirements in terms of capacity. It is within this framework that non-orthogonal multiple access methods (NOMA) have been introduced. In this thesis, we have studied and proposed a multiple access method based on the compute and forward technique and on Lattice codes while considering different lattice constructions. We have also proposed improvements to the algorithm for decoding the Sparse code multiple access (SCMA) method based on Lattice codes. In order to simplify the multi-stage decoders used in here, we have proposed simplified expressions of LLRs as well as approximations. Finally, we studied the construction D of lattices using polar codes. This thesis was in collaboration with the research center of Huawei France
El, Joubari Oumaima. „Mobility and traffic models for VANETs“. Electronic Thesis or Diss., université Paris-Saclay, 2022. http://www.theses.fr/2022UPASG018.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe ever-growing traffic congestion is becoming a serious issue that needs to be urgently addressed. The growing number of traffic accidents, the environmental footprint of transport, commercial speed of public transportation and traffic jams are few examples of the adverse consequences of congestion. This calls for an upgrade of the transport system in order to ensure road users safety and effectively enhance the transportation infrastructure. ITS have grown in importance as a promising solution to the congestion issue. These systems rely on the most advanced technologies to provide intelligent and robust safety services that seek to prevent road incident that may threaten the life of passengers. One of the most stringent requirements of these applications is an error-free and reliable transmission of data packets. VANET were designed specifically to provide a wireless communication infrastructure to allow vehicles and road equipment to exchange traffic data. The particular feature of this network is the highly dynamic mobility which results in frequent changes in the topology and density of the network. This has negative effects on the network performance which does not allow to cater safety applications requirements. In this thesis, we address specifically channel access methods for VANET that are based on TDMA method. TDMA has been proven the most suitable access technique for VANET as it allows a single node to access the channel at any time slot. However, conventional TDMA-based protocols might encounter difficulties in a dynamic networks such as access collision and unfair use of resources. Hence, a good understanding of mobility will allow the design and evaluation of channel access methods that are efficient and robust even in a mobile environment. Although faithful mobility models are found in the literature, they fail to accurately capture some aspects of vehicular mobility. The traffic behaviour is influenced by several factors such as road layout, speed limits, traffic rules and individual vehicle’s behaviour. Consequently, it is compulsory to include all these features in a mobility model for accurate results. In this context, we develop in this thesis stochastic Markov chain models based on real vehicle traces collected by RSUs using V2X communication to emulate vehicular behaviour in both urban and highway roads. The proposed models have the twofold benefit of modelling and predicting traffic. Using a direct numerical resolution technique, traffic density, waiting queue lengths, travel times and delays are predicted. The predicted traffic density is then exploited to design a Traffic-aware TDMA channel access method that aims to reduce access collisions and enhance resource utilization through mobility prediction and clustering. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, a queue-based mobility simulation framework was developed using the SimEvents toolbox. The simulation framework allows the generation of synthetic measures relevant to the assessment of road network performance. The TA-TDMA MAC protocol was then implemented and compared with an existing MAC protocol called VeMAC, under different scenarios and environments. The proposed solution has shown better results than the VeMAC protocol in terms of efficiency and robustness against topological changes
Lu, Juan. „Modeling, simulation and implementation of an 802.15.4 based adaptive communication protocol in wireless sensor network : application to monitoring the elderly at home“. Thesis, Toulouse, INSA, 2013. http://www.theses.fr/2013ISAT0016/document.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleMonitoring behavior of the elderly and the disabled living alone has become a major public health problem in our modern societies. Among the various scientific aspects involved in the home monitoring field, we are interested in the study and the proposal of a solution allowing distributed sensor nodes to communicate with each other in an optimal way adapted to the specific application constraints. More precisely, we want to build a wireless network which consists of several short range sensor nodes exchanging data between them according to a communication protocol at MAC (medium access control) level that optimizes energy consumption, transmission time and loss of information. To achieve this objective, we have analyzed the advantages and the limitations of WPAN (wireless personal area network) technology and communication protocols currently used in relation to the requirements of our application. We then proposed a deterministic, adaptive and energy saving medium access method based on the IEEE 802.15.4 physical layer and a mesh topology. It ensures the message delivery time with strongly limited collision risk due to the spatial reuse of medium in the two-hop neighborhood. This proposal was characterized by modeling and simulation using the OPNET network simulator. We then implemented the proposed mechanisms on hardware devices and deployed a sensors network in real situation to verify the accuracy of the model and evaluate the proposal according to different test configurations

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleTo improve the MOSFET performances, it is necessary to understand the physical phenomena contributing to the apparent mobility of electrons and holes crossing the channel, and limiting the improvement obtained by reducing the channel length. Therefore, a precise study of transport using Monte Carlo simulations was performed. This semi-classical simulation method allows for solving the Boltzmann transport equation, taking into account the quasi-ballistic regime, phonon and Coulomb scattering, surface roughness, as well as the quantum confinement, by randomly generating electrons and their scattering events described by the laws of quantum mechanics.A simple mobility model has been established and validated by the simulations. It is based upon three important parameters: the long channel mobility, the access resistance, and ballistic resistance. This mobility model proved compatible with experimental results, suggesting that the access resistance is determining in the apparent mobility reduction.By the way, the ballistic transport contribution in the mobility was calculated by taking into account the quantum confinement accurately and the distribution functions of the different subbands, allowing for an improvement of Shur’s apparent mobility model, which underestimates (of about 50 Ω.µm) the ballistic resistance. The latter is lower than the access resistance but it could have an incidence on the ultimate devices. Keywords: MOSFET, FDSOI, mobility degradation, analytical model, contact resistance, ballistic, multi-subband Monte Carlo, simulation
