My diploma work is focused on implementation of measuring probe to process of cutting operation by turning and description of their effective usage ways. Measuring probe are used as correction during turning process or to control measuring of turning work eventually to signal mistake in process. In practical part the laser measuring probe is used to control shaft functional dimensions. Measuring is done after tooling and it substitute exit control. Laser probe was also reviewed regarding usability for given purpose as measurement tool and in the same time were reviewed time and cost differences against alternative turning process.

This thesis describes the parameters of electrical energy with a focus on low voltage characteristics and their measurement with respect to the parameters required by standards. In addition, one chapter deals with monitoring of the quality electric energy. Measurement organizations, calculation of power quality and the data collection for its calculation is referred here. For the illustration, the example of a distributed monitoring system from practice is described. The second part deals with the design and implementation of a module for measuring power quality , namely by measuring the voltage characteristics. It describes the selection of the chosen solution, hardware part and firmware for the MCU. To display the measured data, application was created by the Java programming language. The application allows the visualization of the voltage measured Low voltage grid with single phase voltage RMS value 230.

The goal of this diploma thesis is design and implementation of an application for automated measurement of objects in augmented reality. It focuses on automating the entire process, so that the user carries out the fewest number of manual actions. The proposed interface divides the measurement into several steps in which it gives the user instructions to progress to the next stage. The result is an Android application with ARCore technology. Is capable of determining the minimal bounding box of an object of a general shape lying on a horizontal surface. Measure error depends on ambient conditions and is in units of percent.

This diploma thesis focuses on the application of measuring probes in the machining process. The main goal of the thesis is to create sample procedures for measuring cycles and functions in a CNC machining process using MCV 1210 and selected measuring software. In the first part of the thesis available methods of machine measurement are outlined with a great emphasis on the description of measurement principles, construction, and measurement signal transmission methods between tool probes and the workpiece. The second part of the thesis deals with the application of measuring probes in the machining of the designed test piece using the Productivity+TM and Sinumerik ShopMill softwares. The work also includes an economic evaluation of the profit of an investment in the mentioned measuring equipment.

Main aim of this thesis is to create an application for measuring threshold in quiet and masking curves in C++ language. First chapter describes basic teory of perceiving sound and phenomenon of masking. Second chapter focuses on description of different hearing measurement methods. Third chapter describes, how the classes and functions for frequency changing oscilator and evaluation were created and how the graph display function works. Next chapter describes, how to use the application properly and how to do the basic calibration, so the data will be displayed correctly. The thesis deals with precision analysis, process optimization and repeatibility of GNSS-RTK measurements for surveying aplication. Measuring procedure, that enables determination of a spatial position with a permissible deviation less than 10mm, was tested based on previous published findings. The test procedure was tested on two sets of test measurements obtained during 27 h and 26 h observations in connection with CZEPOS. The results were later analyzed. The first set of measurements was measured by the RTK3-GG method (9 m and 60 km vectors) and computed by a network solution VRS3-MAX-GG. Both were in ideal conditions – ideal, not obstructed observational horizon and good availability of differential corrections. The second set was measured by RTK3-GG method (22 km and 62 km vectors) and computed by network solution VRS3-MAX-GG. Both were in adverse conditions - obstructed observational horizon and adverse availability of differential corrections. Precision analysis and design of appropriate filtering method and optimal measurement procedure were done based on the results obtained from the test measurements. Optimal measurement procedure was then tested by measurements in a three point network.

The concept of the Balanced Scorecard taking a part in the strategic management of a company, is a main focus of this thesis. There are the theoretical and methodological parts of the Balanced Scorecard characterized individually, as well as the development and the history of this concept. The practical part of the thesis is following the theoretical introduction where the practical part is focused on a practical application of the Balanced Scorecard method for a specific company. The company is specified by the Corporate Performance and Business Model Canvas by using the PESTEL Analysis, Porter's Five Forces Model and Financial SWOT Analysis. The company strategy is specified based on the previous conclusions. Firstly were individual transmission parameters specified and determined their impact on service quality. This diploma thesis deals with the research of the flow in front of the benchmark automotive vent. Using thermoanemometry, the velocity field in the area in front of the vent was measured in detail and the intensity of the turbulence was calculated. Computational fluid dynamics of the air flow from the vent was also performed using the STAR-CCM + program. In addition, the influence of the surrounding surfaces simulating the real environment of the automobile on the air flow from the vent was investigated. The diploma thesis contains the calculation of measurement uncertainty. The purpose of this thesis is to obtain complex data on the velocity field and to use them for validation of Computational fluid dynamics.

Spinové vlny mají potenciál být použity jako nová platforma pro přenos a zpracování dat, protože mohou dosáhnout vlnových délek v rozsahu nanometrů a frekvencí v rozsahu terahertzů. K tomu, aby bylo možné navrhnout zařízení a logické obvody založené na spinových vlnách, je zapotřebí získat informace o prostorovém rozložení intenzity spinové vlny a pokud je to možné, také o jejich fázi. To lze měřit pomocí fázově rozlišeného fokuso-vaného Brillouinova rozptylu světla (µ -BLS). Předložená práce se zabývá rozšířením stávající optické sestavy o možnost měření fáze, kde doposud bylo možné měřit pouze intenzitu. Toto rozšíření sestavy je důkladně popsáno a charakterizováno. Schopnosti optické sestavy jsou demonstrovány ve studii šíření spinových vln skrz Néelovu doménovou stěnu. Získané 2D mapy intenzity spinových vln ukazují, že propagace přes doménovou stěnu je ovlivněna topologicky vynucenou kruhovou Blochovou čarou ve středu doménové stěny a že režim propagace závisí na frekvenci spinových vln. V prvním režimu propagace se vytvoří dva svazky spinových vlny šířící se kolem kruhové Blochovy čáry, zatímco ve druhém režimu se spinové vlny šíří pouze středem. Fázově rozlišené µ-BLS měření odhaluje fázový po- sun spinových vln pro oba režimy. Mikromagnetické modelování spinových vln ukazuje rozrušení jejich fázových vlnoploch, které je třeba brát v úvahu při interpretaci měření a navrhování potenciálních zařízení. Mikromagnetické simulace ukazují, že vnější magnetické pole může být použito k pohybu kruhové Blochovy čáry ve stěně domény, a tedy k manipulaci spinových vln.

This thesis was selected due to establishing of universal platform for USBTMC remote instrumentation and constructing a laboratory DC power supply for hobby use. This thesis is focused on design and realization of regulated linear DC power supply. At first thesis mentions kinds of DC power supplies and kinds of interfaces used for test and measurement instruments. Thesis continues by describing of blocks of a developed linear DC power supply with an USB interface following the USBTMC specification for remote control. Thesis ends by realization of the regulated linear DC power supply with USBTMC interface. It was achieved acceptable results. Communication between PC and Control module works well as same as communication between Control module and Power supply module. Maximum output ranges of voltage and current are 40V and 3A. Big interference on auxiliary supply rail decreases accuracy.

Diplomová práce přibližuje systémy LIDAR přímo měřící čas průletu a časově digitální převodníky určené k použití v těchto systémech. Představuje problematiku distribuce hodinových signálů napříč soubory časově digitálních převodníků v LIDAR systémech a věnuje se jednomu z nových řešení této problematiky, které je založené na injekcí zavěšených oscilátorech. Technika injekčního zavěšení oscilátorů je důkladně matematicky popsána. V programu Matlab byl vytvořen simulační model injekcí zavěšeného kruhového oscilátoru, který potvrzuje správnost uvedených analytických predikcí. Ve výrobní technologii ONK65 byl navržen injekcí zavěšený kruhový oscilátor stabilizovaný pomocí smyčky závěsu zpoždění, určený pro implementaci časově digitálního převodníku pro systém LIDAR. Navržený injekcí zavěšený kruhový oscilátor byl verifikován počítačovými simulacemi zohledňujícími vliv procesních, napěťových i teplotních variací. The thesis "The possibilities of application of management accounting components into the small size companies (on the example of a concrete company)" engages in the question, whether it were possible to identify components of management accounting, that would be applicable in the small size companies. The first part focuses on the introduction of the company, on the market company operates on and on the general characteristics of the small and mid-size companies. It provides information on the company performance and identifies a need of the introduction of accrual principle into the company's accounting. The next part deals with the discrete features of the proposed performance management system. It answers the question, whether to orientate the system primarily on performance or responsibility, designs the appropriate calculation system and the basic system of plans and budgets. Later, it focuses on the existing organizational structure and the definition of the structure of the responsibility centers. In the last part, there can be found a proposal of the management profit and lost statements as of the basic statements providing the information on the partial as well as overall performance measurement.

This thesis concerns the technological processes of machining of thin-walled parts and the modification of said processes in dependence on the following interopera-tive measurement of the real dimensions of these parts. Within the theoretical part a research study of technological possibilities of measuring thin-walled parts and principles of probe programming are presented. In the main practical part of the the-sis a proposal of an experiment is described, which tests the individual technologi-cal steps and their influence on the quality of a prototype of the produced thin-walled part. Numerical (NC) codes are created using parametric programming, which are then used during the realization of the experiment itself. In the conclusi-on there are presented and discussed the results of measuring of the machined surfaces and the influence of correction paths, which should help to achieve a mo-re accurate production according to given dimensions. This experiment, however, has not met the expected results. That is why new procedures have been designed in order to create said paths, which can be used in a future realization of this expe-riment.

One of the important parameters observed during extruded fibre fabrication is its diameter. The diameter can be measured with a single scanning camera assuming that the fibre section has a circular shape. As proved in practice, another important parameter is ovality, that is the rate of fibre flattening. This paper assumes that the fibre section shape is elliptical. In such a case, at least three different views on examined fibre are needed. Mathematical part of this paper is concerned with analytical description of fibre ovality measurement using two different approaches based on the knowledge of linear algebra, projective geometry and conic sections theory. Main goal of this paper is thus to use both mathematical theory and image analysis methods for ovality and diameter determination. Precise calcluation of such quantities is, however, conditioned on precise camera system calibration, which is described in the paper as well. Additionally, the work contains a brief mention of technical realization of ovality measurement and its possible difficulties.

Doctoral thesis deals with combustion engine cranktrain vibrations and vibration analysis methods. The work applies new computational models aimed at powertrain vibration decrease. The computational models can be used in the first stages of powertrain development. Temperature dependences of the rubber shear modulus and loss factor characteristic are found by response analysis of the free damped vibrations in the first part of the thesis. Viscoelastic model parameters of two dampers with different rubber hardness are calculated using optimization methods. Temperature distribution inside the rubber part during the harmonic oscillation is calculated with the knowledge of previous values. Computational models together with a user interface are assembled in Matlab/Simulink software tool. Computational model results of the viscoelastic rubber damper are verified by measurements on a prototype diesel engine in the whole operating engine speed range. Torsional vibrations of the crankshaft with torsional damper are measured by POLYTEC laser rotational tools. The temperature distribution on the damper surface is obtained by Infratec VarioCAM thermographic system. Combustion pressures in the cylinder are measured by SMETEC Combi indication tools. Both the temperature distributions and combustion pressures are used for computational purposes. All the measurement procedures are described also in the thesis.

There is analysis of ability of contemporary portable devices to run a application software. According to the specified requirements there is designed and implemented the client-server system based on the VNC technology. The server is a Linux-based PC server implemented using Xinetd daemon and the Xvnc. The two standard VNC clients were made. A free software available under the GPL license was modified to implement them. One runs on Windows Mobile operating system and the other one is a Java MIDlet.

Vzduchem izolované vysokonapěťové rozváděče jsou nedílnou součástí energetického distribučního řetězce a to jak v průmyslovém, tak ve veřejném sektoru. Hlavní funkcí rozváděče je ochrana pracovního personálu, rozpojování/odpojování a spínání, izolování, měření proudů a napětí, chránění a ovládání zatížení a komunikace dat do řídících systémů. V každé z výše zmíněných funkcí probíhal technologický vývoj v průběhu posledních 40 let. Dnešní rozváděče jsou spolehlivé a elektrickému oblouku odolné zařízení, zoptimalizované téměř k fyzikálním limitům dielektrických, elektromagnetických a termodynamických polí. Vakuové vypínače zajišťují stálou a spolehlivou vypínací funkci. Taktéž v oblasti chránění, řízení a komunikace došlo k mnoha technologickým proměnám. Od elektromechanických relé přes zařízení založená na tranzistorech, později na jednoúčelových mikroprocesorech, až po dnešní multifunkční vysoce výkonná mikroprocesorová inteligentní elektronická zařízení. Pouze oblast měření proudů a napětí setrvala z technologického hlediska posledních 40 let beze změny. K dominujícím měřícím technologiím dneška stále ještě patří indukčně založené transformátory proudu a napětí. Byly sice provedeny některé pokusy k obměně technologie měření jako takové, nicméně bez dosažení úspěchu. Tato dizertační práce je zaměřena na poskytnutí nového náhledu na alternativní technologii měření v elektrických sítích a ve vzduchem izolovaných vysokonapěťových rozváděčích, kterou lze využít jak pro měření proudu, tak i napětí. Tato práce vysvětluje, proč Rogowského cívky, odporové a kapacitní děliče jsou tou správnou volbou a měly by být použity ve vysokonapěťových rozváděčích a podrobně analyzuje přesnost měření a jejich příslušné meze. Dále tato práce popisuje, že pro nasazování nových měřících technologií musí být postupováno systematicky. Senzory připojené k inteligentním elektronickým přístrojům a schopností komunikace založené na IEC 61850 spolu s vysokorychlostní komunikační sběrnicí Ethernetu vytvoří systém, který zjednoduší a sjednotí konstrukci rozváděčů a umožní oddělit aspekty projektování měření od studie zkratových selektivit. V práci je také uveden příklad, jak tento nový systém může přinést změny a zjednodušení do oblastí projektování a řízení. V této práci jsou popsány výsledky několikaletého úsilí při stanovení nových měřících a digitalizovaných přístupů ve vysokonapěťových rozváděčích pod autorovým vedením. Toto úsilí také vedlo k uvedení nového produktu – UniGear Digital - konceptu od ABB. Závěrečná část práce demonstruje praktické nasazení všech výsledků v této práci při skutečných aplikacích.

The exact mechanism of the discharge in liquids ignition is not sufficiently known up to now. Although during the last years was achieved the great progress and overloading which some of them are written in this theoretical part of thesis. This thesis is divided into two experimental parts. When the first part deals with diagnostics of diaphragm discharge in electrolyte solutions and the second part is focused on its use for uncoiling (higher homogenization) of carbon nanotubes in solutions. In experiment 1, three different sized (4 l, 100 ml, 50 ml) diaphragm discharge configurations were used to diagnose diaphragm discharge in electrolyte solutions. Diagnostics is done through current and voltage waveforms with the addition of synchronized ICCD camera images that have been connected to a four-channel oscilloscope. The V-A characteristic can be described by three events occurring in the electrolyte solution with a gradual increase in voltage. Slowly increasing of the voltage in the solution leads first to electrolysis. The next phase is the formation of microbubbles or bubbles, which is characteristic of the curve by a slight decrease in the increase of the current passing between electrodes. The sudden increase in the current flow is characteristic of the last phase, namely the discharge phase. The distance of the electrodes from the diaphragm does not significantly affect the V-A characteristic. The higher diameter of the pin hole, therefore, has a higher voltage, but this does not affect the origin of bubble generation or breakdown. The higher thickness of diaphragm, the higher voltage is needed to the beginning of the bubbles generation, and consequently the discharge breakdown. Comparison of the voltage of the start generation of the bubbles and breakdown for PET diaphragms and diaphragms from the ceramic there was no mark able difference. One of the most important parameters is the conductivity of the electrolyte solution. The lower voltage is needed for the start generation of the bubbles at the higher solution conductivity, and also the discharge generation is observed at a lower breakdown voltage. The second experimental part is focused on the study of the diaphragm discharge effect on carbon nanotubes. A specially designed U-shaped reactor is used to modify carbon nanoparticles. Tap water and aqueous solutions of organic compounds are used as the electrolytic solutions. The discharge is generated by a non-pulsed DC high source with a voltage in the range of 0-2.8 kV supplied to platinum electrodes located in the electrolyte solution. The experimental results have shown that the diaphragm discharge has positive effects on the disintegration of clusters and agglomerates of carbon nanotubes. The primary effect on disintegration is probably the shock waves generated by the discharge. It turned out that it depends on the electrode configuration, where the treatment in anode space has far greater effects than the treatment in cathode half of the reactor. Effects of carbon nanotubes disintegration in solution are long-lasting and the treatment effect is not loosed after several months. There were detected no significant changes in the structure of plasma-treated nanotubes by Infra-red spectroscopy.

Increasing volume of research shows that both theoretical assumptions and empirical fit of traditional mean-variance and CAPM frameworks are flawed. Hence, other risk measures are gaining popularity. Downside risk measures not only represent the theory well, they are also significant in explaining variations of stock returns. Most importantly, the definition of risk they provide is more in line with perspectives of investors. We have carried out extensive testing on a sample of companies from the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland. Our results show that Semivariance with respect to zero is the most significant risk measure while CAPM beta by itself has little use. Finally, we also analysed importance of idiosyncratic risk on CEE shares and found out that it is indeed priced on the Czech and Polish stock markets but not in Germany.

The mechanical parameters of human skin were measured in ten volunteers before the application of laser radiation and then after the application. Used energy density of the laser radiation increased from 30 to 90 J·cm-2 . The observed parameters were Hooke's coefficient, Newton's coefficient and the time constant. Hooke's coefficient describes the stiffness of the skin as a whole, Newton's coefficient characterises the viscosity of the skin, the time constant is the time in which skin returns to the original state after deformation.
