Tra, Bi Zamblé Mathieu. „Polyphonie sur les médias socionumériques : le cas des interactions sur YouTube à propos des feux de forêt d’Amazonie“. Electronic Thesis or Diss., Bourgogne Franche-Comté, 2024. http://www.theses.fr/2024UBFCC002.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis study examines polyphonic enunciation in online writings, focusing on that which arises from and is induced by interactions on YouTube during the Amazon rainforest wildfires. After presenting the context and the concepts and theories related to polyphony, it proposes a methodological framework for analyzing polyphony that first captures the role of techno-semiotic, socio-economic, and psychosociological aspects of YouTube in polyphony, and then interrogates this polyphony at the level of other media actors mentioned from YouTube. This allows us to identify consistencies and changes in polyphonic configurations during our observation period and to show how these polyphonic configurations during the Amazon rainforest wildfires could be influenced by exogenous contextual variables. We also observe power dynamics when this polyphony is used as a strategy by various media actors involved in the social controversy surrounding the Amazon rainforest wildfires. This study complements previous research on editorial enunciation in screen writings by considering polyphony at both the network actors’ level and the argumentation level
Neveu, Quentin. „Buzz et sport : des liaisons dangereuses ? : analyse sémiotique, émotionnelle et virale du buzz sportif“. Thesis, Dijon, 2016. http://www.theses.fr/2016DIJOL025.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleToday widely used by the media world, especially in sport, which uses and formats are moving towards the receiver, the term buzz paradoxically remains little studied by the transmission and also by the reception side. The buzz characterizes a reduction of length of media formats, promoting by the way an increased virality. Shorter formats are accompanied by an increase in supply, both produced by traditional broadcasters and by the users themselves, which give to the receiver an habit effect. This doctoral work shows that the sports buzz object is different from other media objects despite the importance of demographic factors in receiving messages. With this habit, the perception of sport values is smoothed and less prominent in the distribution of sports buzz. Through an empirical approach combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies, that work has enabled a semiotic characterization of different categories of sports buzz, depending on the degree of buzzability of the images. It also permit to draw a typology of receivers. This research showed that the reception of that kind of message as well as the sharing and its impact compared to the sport values don’t seem to depend on the individual data of each, but on the message content itself (celebrity, unexpected gesture, unrepeatable nature ...)
Fontar, Barbara. „Modèles de la critique et "Arrêt sur images" : étude d'une entreprise critique comme activité sociale“. Lyon 3, 2007. https://scd-resnum.univ-lyon3.fr/in/theses/2007_in_fontar_b.pdf.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis study questions the television broadcast Arrêt sur Images (ASI) critical work within its three social spheres: conditions of production, discourse and reception in the mass media area. This is a socio-semiotic analysis of the ASI criticism based on established patterns of the social criticism. Considering that criticism cannot be reduced to an unique paradigm and comprises different dimensions, we developed six models of it (Koselleck, Montesquieu, Barthes, Bourdieu, Boltanski et Walzer), used as “ideal types” from which we examined Daniel Schneidermann's, the ASI anchorman, practice of criticism. Thus, this work analyzes criticisms made to mass media through a diachronic angle, Schneidermann's career history, the editing board's daily work, the semiotic artefact « Arrêt sur images » itself and questions the way mass media interpret Schneidermann's criticisms. Then, we notice that his critical activity in ASI is not a spontaneous phenomenon but lies on criticism traditions. Nevertheless, if the ASI critical work belongs to several models, Schneidermann is comparable to the critic in Walzer's one : a local judge who observes his fellow-citizens' practices, denounces them when city principles are disregarded and finally interpellate people on behalf of these city rules. This criticism and the role Schneidermann assigned to himself provoke rejection from the mass media. This reaction reveals the irritating side of criticism and how it is difficult for this sphere to accept judgments
Checri, Bailly Carole. „La publicité dans un monde multiculturel : spécifiquement dans la presse écrite libanaise“. Paris 5, 2006. http://www.theses.fr/2006PA05H019.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe multiculturalism which characterises Lebanese advertising in the written press, is a mixture of Lebanese identity (innately Arabic) with distinctive western influences. This advertising conveys symbols belonging to Lebanese culture as well as those understood worlwide. The usage is mainly French, to a lesser extent English and rather less Arabic. It therefore mirrors the multilingual capability of Lebanese citizens. In eliminating social, cultural and religious differences, it reflects an image solely of an upper class. It displays a westernised style of living as much as a Lebanese one, while showing characters and settings with specific Lebanese reference. Given the particular wording of lebanese advertisements, a dialectic is established between that language and the universal language used for publicity

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn today’s digital age, this Ph.D. thesis focuses on books defined as a form of media. Reconsidering the western idea of the communication conveyed by this medium, it juxtaposes the physical form of books and their symbolic role. This thesis is built on a history of the forms a book can take to analyse the transformations related to the rise of the « e-book ». Books fulfil a role of mediation between the partners of an exchange, who are irreducibly absent from each other. This absence is envisioned as a driving force, shaping the communication process of books, which incarnation would constitute the presumption of an encounter. To what extent are the mediation function played by books and the foundation of their symbolic efficiency built on the very same bases as those of bodies? Although generally considered as being immovable objects, we revolutionize the way books are perceived, and we examine the dynamic process of their acceptance in social life. Accounting for their “composite” features, we attempt to fully apprehend the implications of the corporealities of books, including language, text and physical object. Our hypothesis is that a book may be viewed as a substitute of a body, nourished by the thought of the co-presence of its contributors, in that it constitutes a form in which they are alternatively present. It is therefore necessary to investigate the corporealities of the media and to analyse the role of books in the construction of the cultural and social concepts of the body. Reconsidering the implications of the mediation, this thesis raises the prospects of an anthropology of communication, inviting to re-evaluate the medias from the perspective of a restructuring of the relations between nature and culture

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe research focuses on the distances between visitors and the works exhibited in the art exhibition, specifically those that are both peripheral to the artifacts, imposed by visitor rules and regulations, bounded by barriers, cords, pedestals, floor tapes, among other things, are often maintained by visitors, are generally recognized as being destined toConsidering that they are part of a media device, it is important to understand how they contribute to the latter. The theoretical study of the regulating lines and margins of the text's media supports the construction of the concept of "peri-operative margins", making it possible to qualify the distances between works and visitors and to make the hypothesis that they participate in the exhibition by fulfilling several semiotic functions and roles. The theoretical study of the museum art exhibition leads to a communicative approach to the peri-operative margins, which consists of understanding them from the three enunciating processes in which they are produced and endowed with meaning - that is, the regulation of the visit to the museum exhibition, the setting up of the museum exhibition, and the visual capture of the works exhibited during the visit to the museum exhibition. The study of peri-operative margins is then thought out in three surveys dedicated respectively to each of the processes identified and based on the analysis of "objects" that are inherent in these processes and that prefigure, configure and update the peri-operative margins - i. e. visit regulations and behavioural prohibitions, distance tools and expographic margins, visitor behaviours and alignments. The first survey makes it possible to establish that, as they appear in the regulations governing the visit to the museum exhibition, the peri-operative margins fulfil the functions of measures for the protection of property and persons and access to works within certain physical limits and the role of rules governing the visit to the art museum exhibition. The second survey suggests that, as they materialize when the museum exhibition is set up, the peri-operal margins perform the same functions as the vector signs of attention and interpretation and the roles of signposts and physical traces of enunciation. The third survey makes it possible to determine that, as manifested in the visual capture of the exhibited works, the peri-operative margins assume the functions of signs of engagement in the interaction situation and situational properties and the roles of postural clues of co-enonciation and ritual figures. In sum, the study of the peri-operative margins reveals that, because of their multiple semiotic functions and roles, they participate in the communicational functioning and socio-symbolic operability of the art museum exhibition
