The thesis is based on Danilatos’s study where the pumping of the differential pumped chamber is solved by means of the Monte Carlo statistical method. The thesis analyzes gas flow in the experimental chamber using the Pipot tube. The aim of this diploma thesis is to implement a robotic air hockey table in cooperation with the work of Dominik Jašek [37] . Specifically, the work deals with the implementation of simulation software that models behavior of robotic air hockey table, designing a game strategy for the robot and detecting position of a puck situated on the playing field. In this thesis, various famous models have been investigated and compared to a custom model for people detection in low resolution video feeds. YOLOv3 and SSD in particular are famous models which have, at their time, produced state of the art results on competitions such as ImageNet and COCO. The dissertation thesis investigates the modeling of the neural network activity with a focus on a multilayer forward neural network (MLP – Multi Layer Perceptron). In this often used structure of neural networks, time-varying neurons are used, along with an analogy in modeling hyperstructures of linear differential operators.
