L’image de l’efficacité militaire kurde renvoie à de courtes périodes historiques du xx e siècle, au mythe des femmes combattantes, et à de réels succès contre Daech. Mais ces succès concernent surtout l’espace syrien. En Irak, le poids militaire kurde est bridé par un défaut de préparation, l’absence d’armements performants, et des divergences tant politiques que tactiques entre les acteurs. Hors soutien occidental, les forces kurdes ne peuvent seules forcer la décision sur le terrain.

La question kurde est le drame sans fin de populations d’ethnie et de culture communes aux prises pour l’essentiel avec les quatre États où elles se trouvent, qui n’acceptent que péniblement la réalité de leur identité distincte et qui refusent absolument l’idée de leur indépendance, qu’elle découle de sécessions segmentées ou d’une unification politique irrédentiste. Dans leurs quatre États de peuplement, les Kurdes ont aujourd’hui des statuts politiques très différents, allant d’une autonomie reconnue officiellement (Irak) à une situation effective extrêmement précaire de leurs droits (Iran), en passant par une autonomie autoproclamée (Syrie) et une sorte de tolérance politique durable (Turquie). Si la fin de la guerre froide a favorisé l’affirmation du fait kurde qui a gagné un fort soutien des Occidentaux, elle a aussi avivé les suspicions à son égard dans un Moyen-Orient très antiaméricain. Depuis octobre 2023, la guerre de Gaza confirme l’ambiguïté de la position des Kurdes, pris entre la nécessité de préserver leur alliance avec les Occidentaux et leur difficulté à exprimer leur solidarité avec les Palestiniens, l’autre nation sans État de la région.

Une vingtaine d’années après les premiers textes de Murathan Mungan, grâce à qui la ville de Mardin, située dans le Sud-Est de la Turquie, est entrée dans la littérature, est apparue une nouvelle génération d’écrivains qui, eux aussi originaires des régions kurdes de Turquie, semblent avoir repris à leur compte ce projet de faire entrer le Sud-Est dans les lettres turques. Profondément déterminée par les problématiques des Kurdes de Turquie, la littérature de ces écrivains, qui s’est développée parallèlement à une pacification relative et éphémère de leur région, présente des représentations d’une identité et d’un espace jusqu’alors globalement ignorés par les écrivains. Porteuse de dialogue et revendicatrice de paix et de reconnaissance, elle a porté sur le devant de la scène des auteurs qui comptent aujourd’hui parmi les plus talentueux du paysage littéraire de Turquie et a permis de décentraliser une littérature pour laquelle Istanbul semblait être le seul lieu littéraire possible
Twenty years after the first writings of Murathan Mungan, thanks to whom the city of Mardin, located in the South-East of Turkey, entered literature, a new generation of writers from the Kurdish regions of Turkey seem to have taken up this project of bringing the South-East into Turkish litterature. Deeply determined by the problems of the Turkish Kurds, their writings, which developed in parallel with a relative and ephemeral pacification of their region, present representations of an identity and a space hitherto globally ignored by writers. As a bearer of dialogue and advocate of peace and recognition, it has brought to the fore authors who are today among the most talented in the literary landscape of Turkey and has helped to decentralize a literature for which Istanbul seemed to be the only one possible literary place

Dans les quatre pays dominant le Kurdistan, (Turquie, Iran, Irak et Syrie), la question kurde se traduit avant tout sous forme de visibilité/ invisibilité, autour de la question de la reconnaissance des Kurdes en tant que Nation déniée. Notamment en Turquie, le premier des pays à avoir imposé aux Kurdes son modèle d'Etat-Nation, cette question renvoie aux politiques négationnistes étatiques menées contre la culture et l'identité kurdes, considérées dès 1924, comme des obstacles au processus de création d'une identité nationale turque. Dans ce rapport conflictuel entre le nationalisme turc et le nationalisme kurde, également fruit d'une mémorisation traumatique et d'une longue histoire de résistance kurde dans chaque partie du Kurdistan, l'imaginaire des Kurdes renvoie а une dimension historique devenue spontanément une référence essentielle du traitement cinématographique de la « kurdicité », sous forme d’interaction construite par les Kurdes eux-mêmes ou créée par leurs adversaires politiques.Notre thèse s'efforce de montrer cette influence durable du nationalisme sur le traitement cinématographique de la « kurdicité », principalement dans le cinéma turc traitant les Kurdes sans les designer en tant que Kurdes, puis dans le cinéma kurde au service de la « cause kurde » après les années 1990
In the four countries dominating Kurdistan (Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria) the Kurdish question translates first and foremost under the concept of visibility/invisibility, around the problem of the recognition of the Kurds as a denied nation. This is especially apparent in the case of Turkey, the first of the countries which imposed its own nation-state on the Kurds : this question is associated with the negationist state policies on Kurdish culture and identity,which, since 1924, have been considered as obstacles on the path to the creation of a nationalTurkish identity. In this conflictual relation between Kurdish and Turkish nationalisms – the fruit, among others, of a traumatic memory and a long history of Kurdish resistance inrespective sections of Kurdistan – the imagery of the Kurds refers to a historical dimensionwhich has spontaneously become an essential reference of cinematographic treatment of« Kurdishness » under the form of interactions constructed by themselves or by their own political opponents. The present thesis aims at describing that permanent influence of nationalism on the cinematographic treatment of « Kurdishness » in the Turkish cinema which principally treats the Kurds without designating them as Kurds, then in the Kurdish cinema in the service of « Kurdish cause » following the 1990s

La presente these est une etude systematique, bibliographique et generale des sources de la nouvelle kurde. Ainsi q'une tentative de saisir sa genese pendant la premiere moitie du siecle. Nous avons donne dans notre travail un apercu historique sur les sources de la nouvelle kurde et sa genese. Tout en analy sant les contextes culturels et historiques dans lesquels est apparue et s'est developpe la nouvelle kurde : nous avons etabli simultanement une chronologie avec une bibliographie integrale pour chaque periode et pour chaque nouvelliste. Jusqu'en 1913, annee de l'apparation de la premiere nouvelle dans la revue rojt kurd. Le genre narratif s'est manisfeste dans la litterature classique kurde sous trois formes traditionnelles : mesnewl (roman en vers) hekayet et beyt. Ce n'est qu'en 1925, avec la publication de le xwin a (dans mon reve) de cemil sayib. Que l'on peut reellement parler de la maturite de la nouvelle kurde. L'annee 1926 marque l'apparition du premier recueil de nouvelles kurdes, ainsi que le premier numero du journal zari kim anci (1926-1932). L'annee (1939) va donner un grand elan au developpement de la nouvelle kurde grace a un groupe de jeun es ecrivains qui vont fonder la revue gelawe) 1939-1949 du kurdistan central. Les annees 1926-1939 vont etre occupees a panser les plaies des guerres en meme temps ce sont des annees de reconstructi on et de developpement. Que ce sont dans la vie economique et sociale ou dans la vie litteraire et artistique, de nouvea ux paysages se dessinent. Six grands auteurs emergent de cette generation. Chacun d'entre-eux, est influence par une litterature etrangere deffere six grands auteurs emergent de cette generation. The thesis is a general and systematic research concerning the source for the up building and evelotion of kurdish story between the end of the nineteenth century and the first half (20 th) century. We worked on showing a brief hsitory about the birth and evolution of kurdish story, and it is done through the analysis of historical & literary stages of the different cultural context and atmospher in which kurdish story knew and had bee n introduced to its own prosperity. The analysis of some stories and texts has a lions share within my research. The sisty stories written by "mulla mahmudy bayazeedy " in the end of the nineteenth century (1860) which were published in " petrousborg" are considered the first steps for writing stories in our kurdish literature. In "1913" the term of "story" as a literary term for this genre was known and established by " fuad tamo " in "rozhy kur d-the kurds sun " magazine. "peshkawtin-progress" 1920-1921" as a newspaper, which was editted by "majorson" the judge of "sulaimaniyhia" played a great role for publishing the translated stories from other languages into kurdish, and thus the term of "story" and western fiction was known for the kurds and the term as a genre was deep-rooted. The influence of this newspaper made "jamel saeeb" write a novel named "in my dream" in 1925 which was regarded a new stage for the evolution of kurdisd story. "hawar-the call" magazine "1932-1943" which appeared nine years before" galawzh" magazine was an additional step, concer -ning quality and quantity, and it had established"damascus-school" in kurdish fiction. The in " rozhan nu-the new day" &" ronahy-ligh" in damascus and beireute they followed the same way. In "galawezh" magazine (1939-1949) we came in contact with three great story-writers (ibrahim ahmed, shaker fatah and sa jady)

Cette recherche doctorale présente l'intérêt d'étudier la question kurde, qui est l'une desquestions politiques les plus récurrentes dans l'histoire du Moyen-Orient depuis plus d'unsiècle. Cette question est celle d’un peuple qui oscille selon les estimations entre vingt-cinq etquarante millions d’habitants, et d’une langue qui connaît plusieurs déclinaisons régionales.La question de son devenir est un sujet majeur au Proche-Orient. Cette question estl'incarnation et le reflet du problème de la mauvaise planification et démarcation desfrontières politiques entre les pays du Moyen-Orient. Il est vrai que le traité de Sèvres, signéen 1920, prévoyait la création d’un État kurde indépendant. Mais trois ans plus tard, en 1923,le traité de Lausanne nia cette promesse d’indépendance en passant sous silence lesprétentions kurdes quant à la création de leur État.Après le traité de Lausanne, les Kurdes se retrouvent donc sans État. Le pays desKurdes, le « Kurdistan », est réparti sur quatre États principaux : la Turquie, l’Iran, l’Irak et laSyrie. Depuis lors, la question kurde est devenue plus difficile et complexe, car à ce momentlà,le processus de nettoyage ethnique, la marginalisation forcée, la violation des droitskurdes, la négation de l'identité kurde et le morcellement des terres pétrolières et agricolesavaient déjà commencé. En conséquence, les révoltes et soulèvements ont éclaté contre lesÉtats-nations où étaient dispersés les Kurdes. La présente thèse propose d’examiner les causesprincipales de l’échec du projet kurde d’« établir d'un État kurde indépendant » qui durejusqu’à aujourd’hui, malgré l'arrivée de cette question à des niveaux très élevés dans lesdiscussions régionales et internationales, en particulier en ce qui concerne les droitsnationaux
This doctoral research presents the interest in studying the Kurdish question, which isone of the most recurrent political issues in the history of the Middle East for more than acentury. This question is that of a people oscillating between an estimated twenty-five andforty million inhabitants and a language with several regional variations. The question of itsfuture is a major subject in the Middle East. This question is the incarnation and reflection ofthe problem of the bad planning and demarcation of political boundaries between thecountries of the Middle East. It is true that the Treaty of Sevres signed in 1920, provided forthe creation of an independent Kurdish state. On the contrary, three years later, in 1923, theTreaty of Lausanne denied this promise of independence by ignoring the Kurdish pretensionsto the creation of their state.After the Treaty of Lausanne, the Kurds are therefore without a state. The Kurdishcountry, called "Kurdistan", is spread over four main states: Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria.Since then, the Kurdish question has become more difficult and complex because at that timethe process of ethnic cleansing, forced marginalization, violation of Kurdish rights, denial ofKurdish identity, fragmentation of oil and agricultural lands had already begun. As a result,revolts and uprisings erupted against the nation-states where the Kurds were scattered. Thisthesis proposes to examine the main causes of the failure of the Kurdish project of"establishing an independent Kurdish state" which lasts until today, despite the arrival of thisissue at very high levels in regional and international discussions, particularly with regard tonational rights

Les demandes de visibilité et de reconnaissance sont interprétées comme un nouveau paradigme explicatif des luttes sociales contemporaines. Au sein des sociétés, les sujets cherchent à contrôler le sens de leur propre visibilité, visant entre autre une revalorisation des caractéristiques intrinsèques du sujet ou du groupe d'appartenance: du sens de soi, de sa culture, de son identité. Néanmoins, cette recherche peut aussi relever du sentiment d'injustice provoqué par la non acceptation sociale ou la compréhension de la différence comme une déviance. Cette thèse est une proposition pour l'application de l'approche de la visibilité aux phénomènes migratoires, en prenant comme terrain empirique les migrations de populations kurdes et sahraouies en Espagne. Les caractéristiques de ces deux groupes et de leur nouvel espace d'installation, leur faible influence politique et économique, etc. , déterminant la singularité de leur situation par rapport à la visibilité dans les espaces qui constituent leurs circuits de mobilité. L'importance de la notion de visibilité relève ainsi de sa capacité à rendre intelligible des processus comme la formation des imaginaires sociaux sur la migration et sur la figure du migrant, la construction et la compréhension sociale de l'altérité ou les mécanismes qui renforcent les phénomènes de domination culturelle. De la confrontation entre la multiplicité d'images, de représentations et de discours élaborés par les migrants kurdes et sahraouis, ainsi que par leurs sociétés d'origine, de transit et d'installation, nous obtenons les clés de la formation d'une visibilité sociale qui influence directement le déroulement de chaque processus migratoire
Claims for greater visibility and recognition are being interpreted as a new way of explaining contemporary social struggles. Within societies people try to control their own sense of visibility by accentuating essential characteristics such as culture and identity, either of themselves or of the group they belong to. Such claims can derive from a sense of injustice caused by a feeling of nonexistence, which in turn arises from a lack of social acceptance, or from the perception of their differences being seen as deviances. This work proposes to apply the concept of visibility to migratory phenomena, empirically analyzing the recent migrations of Kurdish and Saharan people to Spain. The characteristics of these groups and the new places, in which they settle, combined with their weak politic al and economical influence, determine the uniqueness of their situation in relation to their visibility within their particular spheres of mobility. The importance of the concept of visibility therefore lies in its capacity to make more easily understandable processes such as construction of social imageries about migration and migrants, social comprehension of otherness, and the mechanisms which enforce the phenomena of cultural domination, The comparison of a multiplicity of images, representations and discourses developed by Kurdish and Saharan migrants to those generated within their original, transit and settlement societies, unravels the key issues in the formation of a social visibility directly influencing the development of every migratory process

AbstractThe relationship between Turks and Kurds, two peoples who have lived together for nearly a thousand years, has become tense with the nation-building policies that have been implemented in Turkey for over a century. The imposition of a singular identity based on Turkishness on a wide range of national/ethnic differences ranging from the constitution to educational policies has caused limitations in Kurds’ living their own identities along with other minority communities. Due to its close relationship with national identity, history courses are among the areas of education that tend to ignore ethnic/cultural differences in Turkey. Kurdish teachers of history, who have to teach a content organized with such an understanding, are trapped between the truths of official history and the truths of their own identities, as well as the identity problems they face in the social and political field. In this study, interviews were conducted with Kurdish teachers of history of different religious/sectarian, political and sexual identities and their relations with their students, colleagues and educational bureaucracy and the meaning of history lessons for them were revealed. Thus, it was tried to understand what it means to be a Kurdish teacher of history in Turkey.

Following the collapse of the Kurdish revolution in 1975 in the wake of Algiers Agreement1975 between Iraq and Iran, the governing Baath regime in Baghdad found itself free against the National Kurdish Movement, carrying out a series of genocide and ethnic cleansing operations against Kurds in Iraq. The government lunched wide arrest campaign against members of Kurdish opposition and destroyed many border villages in order to create a 20-kilometer security belt alongside the borders with Turkey and Iran with mines planted there. That area was declared to be a military zone accessed only by the Iraqi army. That required evacuating 500 villages which caused thousands of Kurds to seek refuge in Iran in fear of apprehension or murder. These developments were accompanied by a displacement process carried out by the Iraqi government on March 31st 1975 against member of Al-Barzani clan in Barzan area, who were displaced to the desert in Al-Qadisiya province and were only allowed to return to Kurdistan in the 1980 in the condition that they do not go back to their original areas. This was followed by the Anfal campaign which destroyed more than four thousand villages and displaced more than half a million Kurds to the Iraqi southern deserts while other thousands fled to Iran. It was in the Anfal campaign that the tragedy of Halabja occurred where chemical weapons were used on March 16th 1988 causing the death of more than five thousand Kurds and horrible unprecedented scene.

" The determination of all criminal offenses that have been committed by the regime of Ba’ath, the former Iraqi government, or by other countries against Kurdish people was to discriminate and suppress Kurds’ identity. Eventually, the operation of eliminating Kurdish people started in 1987 and this massive murder reached its peak through Anfal campaign in 1988. This operation was planned and carried out progressively and wasexerted systematically through eight waves around all different areas in Kurdistan; these military procedures became the reason behind the destruction of the Kurdish villages and districts, which was not the only devastation for the Kurdish towns, but actually, the farmers and other workers were mainly the victims. Consequently, this created financial crises and economic destruction; plainly, the lives of people in those places depended completely on agriculture andlivestock farming. Deporting Kurds to other various places was another way for forcing them to settle in camps which was a factor for creating the financial crisis. Because there was no role of their interests. Close reading and investigations are needed to study these cases and issues botheconomically and academically – this is to understand the detailed particularities and their impact on people and Kurdistan at that duration and the forthcoming damages – through concrete facts and data. "

" One of the best manifestations of the ego is in its relation to the other as an identifiable equivalent. This relation is basically and culturally determined by the nature of the observant ego, both dialectically and dialogically. The other serves as an inspiring stimulus that produces a desirable effect on an expressive ego which is aiming at self-expression and actively shaped by that equivalent other. This article investigates the poetic ego in its constant, variable interaction with the Kurds as reflected in the poems of contemporary Iraqi poets who showed sympathy with and support to the Kurdish cause. Exemplary poems will be chosen to depict this reciprocal relationship, shedding light on its unified representation. The article is divided into an introduction and five sections. The concept of the other and its origin, diversity of meanings, and its interdisciplinary suggestiveness are all discussed in the introduction. The five sections, on the other hand, are a study of the various depictions of the Kurds in contemporary Iraqi poetry. These depictions are shown in the Kurdish brotherhood, the commemoration of famous Kurdish figures, the celebration of the Kurdish place and festivities and their role in identity formation, and remembering its setbacks and inculcating it in the collective memory"

The accumulation of huge Kurdish masses on the territory of today's Syria is the result of millennial waves of migration caused by the turbulent events in the Middle East. The article analyzes: The Kurdish settlements in Syria; The French colonial authorities; The French colonial policy in the Middle East; The migration flow to Syria. The authors of the in-depth study of modern Syrian Kurdistan, The Question of Syrian Kurdistan – Reality, History, Mythologisation, argue that in the twentieth century there were two main waves of migration to northern Syria. One is expansionist and the other is restrictive. They form the current profile of the Kurdish community in Syria.

Starting with the introduction of Visual Studio .NET (VS .NET) application developers can write programs that may be used for different languages listed in VS .NET globalization. However, the list of languages is incomplete and is missing many. One of these missing languages from VS .NET globalization is the Kurdish: a language written and spoken by millions of Kurds around the world. Previous research conducted by the authors made a case for adding the Kurdish language to the globalization component of the .NET Framework. We were hopeful that the Kurdish will be added to VS .NET in the latest version (VS .NET 2005) that was yet to be released in full version at the time of writing that paper. However, VS .NET 2005 has been released, and to our disappointment, Microsoft excluded the Kurdish language again from the languages it supports in VS .NET. This paper is to emphasize adding Kurdish to VS .NET globalization component. It shows that there are no technical, lingual or cultural hurdles for adding Kurdish to VS .NET globalization and thus it is time to add the Kurdish Culture to the newly released Microsoft .Net Framework.

Padangų perdirbimo procesas yra gerai žinomas. Gumos granulės sėkmingai panaudojamos statybos sektoriuje, tačiau padangų tekstilės pluoštas (PTP) išlieka problema, nes nėra žinoma, kur galima panaudoti. Šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjamas PTP atliekų pakartotinis panaudojimas kaip garso sugerties medžiaga. Tyrimo tikslas yra įvertinti PTP garso sugerties efektyvumą, kai medžiagoje yra skirtingas gumos priemaišų kiekis. Tyrimai darbe buvo atlikti esant trims skirtingiems gumos granulių priemaišų kiekiams. Vieninė lyginamoji garso sugerties koeficiento vertė taikoma apibūdinant garsą sugeriančius statybos gaminius, kurie naudojami pastatuose – laiptinėse, laukimo salėse, gamybinėse patalpose ir pan. Rezultatų apibendrinimo metodas paremtas ISO 11654 standartu. Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad gu- mos priemaišų padidėjimas PTP atliekose turi neigiamos įtakos garso sugerčiai. Mėginių, kurie turi iki 10 % gumos priemaišų (PTP10), vyraujanti lyginamoji garso sugerties vertė siekė D klasę, kurios reikšmės kito nuo 0,30 iki 0,55. Kai gumos priemaišų kiekis buvo iki 54 % (PTP54), mėginių vyraujančios lyginamosios garso sugerties vertės siekė E ir D klases, kurios atitinkamai kito nuo 0,15 iki 0,25 ir nuo 0,30 iki 0,55. Gumos priemaišų kiekiui padidėjus iki 70 % (PTP70), vyraujanti lyginamoji garso sugerties vertė siekė E klasę, kurios reikšmės kito nuo 0,15 iki 0,25. PTP10 mėginių, turinčių iki 10 % gumos priemaišų, garso sugerties geba yra 31 % didesnė, lyginant su PTP54 mėginiais, ir 35 % didesnė, lyginant su PTP70 mėginiais.

Pastaraisiais metais biologiškai skaidžios atliekos įgauna vis didesnę reikšmę, nes yra vis plačiau naudojamos kaip tvari alternatyva naftos pagrindo produktams ir didelės vertės bioproduktams gaminti. Didžioji dalis pakopinių bioatliekų perdirbimo gamyklų (biorefineries) kaip žaliavą naudoja homogeninius srautus iš žemės ūkio, maisto perdirbimo įmonių ir (ar) nuotekų valymo įrenginių. Straipsnyje yra pristatoma biologiškai skaidžių atliekų, esančių komunalinių atliekų sraute (toliau – BAKAS), panaudojimo bioatliekų perdirbimo gamyklose situacija. Išanalizuoti tyrimai, kuriuose kaip žaliava naudojama komunalinių atliekų biologiškai skaidi (organinė) frakcija, iš kurios gaminami aukštos vertės bioproduktai – fermentai, bioplastikai ar biopesticidai. Nustatytiems tyrimams įvertintos produktų rinkos galimybės ir nustatyti didžiausią ekonominį potencialią turintys aukštos vertės bioproduktai. Pakopinės bioatliekų perdirbimo gamyklos, kurios naudoja komunalinių atliekų biologiškai skaidžią frakciją yra perspektyvus atliekų tvarkymo sprendimas, kuris suteikia galimybę išvystyti žiedinę bioekonomiką ir išspręsti atliekų tvarkymo problemas.

Elementar für eine zukunftsfähige Verkehrsplanung ist eine möglichst detaillierte Kenntnis des Mobilitätsverhaltens der Bevölkerung in der Region. Zur Analyse des Mobilitätsverhaltens der Bevölkerung in Deutschland wurden in der Vergangenheit auf verschiedenen räumlichen Ebenen mehrere größtenteils voneinander unabhängige Datenerhebungen durchgeführt. Für die Region Frankfurt Rhein-Main besonders relevant sind dabei zum einen die Längsschnitt- bzw. Panelerhebungen des „Rhein-Main-Panels“ (RMP) und des „Deutschen Mobilitätspanels“ (MOP), zum anderen die Querschnittserhebungen der Befragung „Mobilität in Deutschland“ (MiD) und speziell für Frankfurt auch „Mobilität in Städten – SrV“ (SrV). Ziel dieser Publikation ist es, diese vier unterschiedlichen Erhebungen in einem kurzen Vergleich vorzustellen. Dabei sollen die jeweiligen spezifischen Potentiale, aber auch Einschränkungen aufgezeigt werden, die diese Mobilitätsdatensätze bezüglich der Auswertung und weiteren Nutzung aufweisen. Danach werden in knapper Form mögliche Kombinationsmöglichkeiten dieser Datensätze untereinander, aber auch mit ergänzenden Datenbeständen dargestellt. Anschließend werden die aus den verschiedenen Mobilitätsdatensätzen ermittelten zentralen regionalen Mobilitätskennziffern in einem Vergleich veranschaulicht. Als Abschluss soll schließlich ein kurzer Blick auf mögliche Anwendungsfelder der Mobilitätsdaten in Politik und Planung geworfen werden.
