The term «unstructured data» means data that is unordered and arbitrary in shape. However, this type of information has a certain structure. Today there is a wide variety of data and, as a result, it is necessary to interpret them. Interpretation tasks include forecasting, classification, clustering, association, sequence search, data visualization, and variance analysis. The difficulty lies in the fact that the data itself can differ not only in terms of format, but also in terms of its structure. One of the key tasks when working with unstructured data is to find and identify patterns in order to understand them and develop filling patterns. The paper analyzes the rules for the design of bibliographic sources in order to identify common patterns. The concepts of structured and unstructured data are touched upon. The existing directions of work with unstructured data and methods of processing unstructured data, in particular, the rules for the design of bibliographic lists of literary sources, are considered. These rules were used to form templates consisting of semantic groups on the basis of examples of the corresponding lists of bibliographic sources. The final comparison of the obtained templates revealed both common features that unite all the considered templates and features that separate them.

The Book of Basis of Interpretation by Judge Numan is one of the most important Ismaili books that expresses its interpretative views on many verses. This study seeks to answer the important question of how do Judges Numan's interpretations coincide with the narrations of Allameh al-Bahrani in relation to the verses of Jesus (A.s)? This research is the documentary-analytical method and seeks to analyze the verses concerning Jesus (PBUH) in two books: The Basis of Interpretation and "Al-Burhan in the Interpretation of the Qur'an", the aspects of these two views being shared and differentiated. Explain and, through it, examine and criticize Judge Numan's intellectual foundations. The findings of this research show that Judge Numan, in his commentary and especially in his interpretations, has used his mental aptitudes more than he has expressed in a humorous way, except in very rare cases that he has not used the Ahlul-Bayt (A.S) narrations. Is and does not refer to its sources of interpretation. But an evaluation of the traditions in the book of Alburhan shows that more than half of all traditions are weak and less than a quarter of the relevant traditions are reliable. In this way, the narrations that Numan quotes from Alburhan cannot be cited. Despite Judge Numan's intellectual concessions to the issue of interpretation, there are serious drawbacks and ambiguities in his view that we will examine and critique in this article.

This paper documents elements of a research project undertaken between 2008 and 2012. Building upon the Intention/Reception project of Leigh Landy (2006) and Rob Weale (2005), the project sought to investigate audience interpretations for works of electroacoustic audiovisual music and to utilise an expanded understanding of the audience – as active participants in interpretation – to subsequently inform the composition of new works. This project combined three distinct research methodologies: empirical data collection, scholarly research and composition. The composed works were both informed by the results of empirical data collection and scholarly research, and adapted (re-composed) throughout the latter stages of the research in order to explore emergent research findings and research hypotheses.Interpretations were demonstrated to be contingent upon the individual lived experience of an audience member, with aspects of the work's discourse acting to narrow the interpretative potential of the work. The use of mimetic materials (sonic or visual) within works of electroacoustic audiovisual music were demonstrated to be potentially obstructing to an aesthetic interpretation of the work. And the importance of recognising the distinction between physical signal and perceived object was highlighted within the process of composition and the subsequent testing.

Part Two describes the design, implementation and first results of a collaborative study: EEG recordings during mental simultaneous interpretation into L1 and L2 were compared with EEG recordings during other cognitive tasks (shadowing, mental arithmetic, listening to music) and with the EEG at rest to investigate the cortical processes during simultaneous interpretation. Both hemispheres are involved in simultaneous interpretation, most of all the temporal regions (left more than right), and there are EEG differences between tasks involving verbal thinking and non-verbal tasks and between simultaneous interpretation into L1 and L2.

The flat dilatometer (DMT) test was introduced by Marchetti (1980) as a new in situ penetration test for soils. The equipment and test procedures are simple, and the test provides repeatable, nearly continuous data that has been empirically correlated to soil type, undrained shear strength (su), coefficient of earth pressure at rest (K0), overconsolidation ratio (OCR), and constrained modulus (M). To better understand the measurements from the DMT, a research flat dilatometer was developed at the University of British Columbia (UBC). The research dilatometer is identical in size, shape, and operation to the Marchetti blade except that instrumentation was added which made passive measurements of pore pressure and deflection at the centre of the membrane, inflation pressure at the membrane, verticality of the blade, and penetration force immediately above the blade. Results from several well-documented sites near Vancouver, British Columbia, using the research DMT are presented and discussed. Results from the research DMT have provided useful insight into the test procedure and interpretation methods of the standard Marchetti DMT. Stress-deflection curves for the DMT are remarkably similar to both self-bored and full displacement pressuremeter test results. Alternate DMT procedures are proposed to estimate ø′ of sands and coefficient of consolidation in clays. A procedure incorporating the closing pressure (P2) using a standard Marchetti DMT is proposed and evaluated. Major problems are found in the sampling procedures, materials, experimental conditions and tasks, quantification procedures and conclusion-drawing logic. In order to foster I/T research, methodological research training could be given to investigators, and interdisciplinary contacts and networking should be promoted. The input of I/T practitioners to I/T research can be valuable in spite of their lack of training provided they use simple methods and are supervised appropriately. Non I/T practitioners should work with practitioners.

This article seeks to present and exemplify to the qualitative researcher the term intertextuality as a concept and as a method that may offer a framework for the analysis and interpretation of short narratives or life stories. Intertextuality as a central concept in the study of culture is particularly suitable for qualitative research, central to which is the subjectivity of the narrator, the story, and the listener/researcher, as well as the relative and indeterminate dimension of knowledge. However, using intertextuality as an interpretative method in various types of texts mandates the researcher’s awareness and abilities in areas that this article discusses. In light of the methodological objective of the article, we selected narratives that represent different types of intertextual linkage on different interpretative levels, on different levels of complexity, and on different levels of ideas. The intertextual reading to be demonstrated detects the combination of various types of cultural components in the narrative as a means of representing the world of the narrator; it takes into account a possible macro context in the narrator’s story, its style and structure, the narrator’s implicit personal interpretation, and the researcher-interpreter’s option to reread the narrative.

This qualitative research aims to comprehensively determine the gap between classical and contemporary interpretations of Qur’an Surah Quraisy that needs to be decomposed with the theological theory of humanism Hassan Hanafi, using the <em>t</em><em>ahlili-muqaran</em> interpretation method. The study found that the difference was apparent in explaining the term with the classical and modern interpretation methods used to define <em>ilaf</em> as habit or love and expertise in entrepreneurship, respectively. Furthermore, the word “Quraisy” is interpreted as a tribal name according to classical interpretation and branding in accordance with modern interpretations. The word <em>rihlah</em> is interpreted as a trade trip by classical interpretations, while in modern interpretation, it is known as an effort to maintain and improve quality. The word worship is interpreted as vertical and horizontal relationships by classical and modern interpretations, respectively. The differences are analyzed with the humanistic theology of Hassan Hanafi’s four points including, dialectics, eclectic, hermeneutics, and phenomenology. This research provides a new contribution to the interpretation of <em>tahlili</em> in collaboration with muqôron. It also tries to determine a common ground between classical and modern interpretations.

Abstract Different churches have developed over time several concepts of exegesis of the New Testament. From the very first apostolic years, the Orthodox East embraced the delivered interpretation of the Fathers, who always respected the revealing and holy spiritual character of the Scriptures (God-centric interpretation). Prevailing since the Middle-Ages in Western Christianity, on the other hand, has been an interpretative spirit of rationalistic research of the texts which gives priority to historical facts and ignores sometimes the supernatural-revealing intervention of the divine (human-centric interpretation). As long as different understandings of the holy text can lead to divergence from the delivered dogmatic teaching, it is imperative for both sides to know and understand each other better, in order to success an effective convergence. Through the harmonic synthesis of both hermeneutical directions some exaggerations and extreme interpretations could be avoided.

In contrast to result-driven publications in which the academic narrative constructs the process of data analysis and the conceptual framework as purposefully designed and inevitably leading to the findings, this article will take a closer look at the concrete development of interpretative schemes and the openness of this process. We will do so by referring to an extensive empirical study of the German theatrical employment system. Following the course of our research project, the article will explicate and discuss (1) the decision for conducting qualitative rather than quantitative research, (2) the identification and definition of ‘what is the case’ and how this decision was influenced by ongoing data interpretation and changing and new theoretical inputs, and (3) the question of the generalisability of our findings. The main focus of the article, however, will be to explore the relationship between data and theory. We hope to encourage researchers to creatively use the inherent openness of data interpretation, and we argue that the freedom of qualitative research can only be used in a productive way if methodological decisions and data interpretations are driven by theoretical reasoning.

This study will discuss the ambiguity of the Majelis Tafsir al-Qur'an (MTA) as a missionary organization trying to explore the sacred heirlooms in the form of Islamic law or trying to purify Islamic law, by making MTA interpretations as a reference for their da'wah, in the introduction to their interpretation they will not using the hadith daif, the history of Israel as a reference. However, in reality, they are precisely inconsistent with the principles of the teachings of making the Old Testament as the source of their interpretation. This research is a library research that seeks to explore and explore the interpretations carried out by MTA. Through al-Dhakhil's approach as a study of the theory of criticism of puritan ideological interpretation, it was found that the interpretation of MTA which became the reference of his da'wah, was inconsistent between statements and practice and made the old treaty as a reference in his interpretation and equated with Torah, even though the two were different.

The interpretation of the Al-Qur'an does not only come from narrations, but also from the ratio or ijtihad, and intuition or inspiration whose methods are difficult to find, because they are transcendent. This explanation is the background of the author who will conduct the research with the aim of knowing the practice of the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an carried out by Tabi'in. It also shows the fact that Tabi'in uses ratio in interpreting the verse. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with the type of library research. This research discussion uses descriptive-analysis method. The results of this study conclude that in terms of term, the tendency of the tafsir book to not reach certain disciplines, is only limited to geographic influences and is thick with the nuances of the interpretation of the teacher, namely ibn abb's. There are at least 23 bi al-Ra'yi interpretations of Mujâhid's tafsir, which are also agreed upon by several scholars, both from the tabi'in and commentators, but not all of them are the same as the opinion of Ibn Abbâs as his teacher. Of the 23 bi-rayi interpretations, 15 of them are different from Ibn Abbas's interpretation and 8 of them have similarities with Ibn Abbas and are classified into 4 parts, namely: Tafsîr bi al-Ra'yi bi al-Qiyas, Tafsîr bi al-Ra'yi bi al- Qisshah, Tafsîr bi al-Ra'yi bi al-Lughah, Tafsîr bi al-Ra'yi bi al-Dhamir.
