Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe companies in Brazil have increased their investments in automation in the last two decades because of facing the strong competition and reducing the operational costs. The companies have offered a complete range of services and products with emphasis in remote services to improve the customers conveniences. Thus, the implementation of these products or services is feasible through the structured projects of Information Technology. According to the practices of market these companies are focusing their efforts on the core competencies. As far as possible, they are moving to Outsourcing or subcontracting for implement information technology projects. However, these functions became the whole process more complex, mainly when the projects have innovative components, like new product, new process or new technology. Generally, these innovative needs demand new technology, new knowledge, and probably new suppliers, promoting a suit process of acquiring subprojects. At least part of new knowledge is considered strategic, than part of it must be internalized from suppliers to the companies. At first, the companies have to judge the suppliers knowledge and complementary they will use the new knowledge as a base of new products and mainly in a fast way, because the schedule of these projects nowadays is shorter than it used to be in the past. Thus, it is fundamental to have processes from Project Management to treat this knowledge transfer. This study discusses improvements for the Project Management Processes, in order to provide the transfer knowledge within a knowledge management process in the company during the project and after it ends. Then, those processes have been reviewed and improvements in terms of knowledge management were proposed that process. These improvements are in terms of suppliers interaction, knowledge transfer and a suitable knowledge management environment.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe purpose of this report is to find and evaluate different systems that can be used as a central platform for publishing information and knowledge about Stockholms stad's various projects spanning several agencies. The goal of this report was to present a requirement specification which summarize the three chosen agencies common work pattern. The requirement specification was used to find and evaluate the different systems that improves Stockholm's stads management of research and development projects. A requirement specification has been defined to help Stockholms stad to acknowledge a common work pattern for the three agencies presentation of project information. By increasing the dissemination of information internally, the efficiency will increase when goal conflicts are avoided and a formal cooperation can lead to better work results. A relational database was proven to be the best option for the agencies and could allow further development and adjustments to the agencies. One advantage with the systems evaluated in this report is that they could help Stockholms stad's transferal of knowledge. This could result in a wider spread of innovative and sustainable ideas than Stockholms stad's current system for managing research and development projects. The final recommendation from the evaluation of the selected systems gave Stockholms stad two possible solutions. The short-term solution was to use Excel with a shared workbook and the long-term solution was to use SharePoint Server as a common platform for communication.
