Indonesia has been battling Covid-19 by modifying the regional quarantine (lockdown) policy into large-scale social restrictions (LSSR) that are local according to the severity of the region. The government is trying to regulate the New Normal policy to avoid a prolonged economic impact that can cause a crisis. The objectives of this Community Service (CS) activity are: 1) To encourage people to stay productive in the new standard era by doing activities around the house. 2) Inviting the community to organize environmental space and use of the yard. Most people in the Villa Pabittei housing estate, Bengkulu City, Bengkulu Province are civil servants, temporary or non-permanent employees, so they carry out their activities at home because the government has closed offices and schools. To anticipate the boredom of the people who laid off, the methods of this CS activity are 1) Counseling using learning by doing techniques and providing motivation for the community to use vacant land with FMP (family medicinal plants), 2) Simulation of structuring space into an environmental park

The purpose of the study was to monitor the quality of drinking water supply in Samara. The quality of drinking water was evaluated in 7 districts of Samara on the basis of 20 sanitary-chemical indicators in accordance with health and safety norms and regulations (SanPiN 2.1.4.107401 20102013 and 20182019). A changed color of drinking water was mainly observed in the areas with water supply from the Saratov reservoir (53,5 8,5% of samples). In the areas with underground water sources the dry residue and hardness of drinking water exceeded hygiene requirements by 100% and 87,5% of samples respectively. 64% of samples in 20102013 and 17,4% of samples in 20182019 were non-standard in terms of permanganate oxidation. Several samples didnt meet the hygienic standard for iron content. Adverse changes in the temporal dynamics of the proportion of samples that didnt meet the hygienic standard for the content of oil products were noted. The quality of some samples of drinking water in Samara did not meet sanitary requirements for some indicators. No significant differences were found between the average long-term values of sanitary and hygienic indicators for urban areas and the obtained data for drinking water in the new housing estate, which suggests that the condition of the water supply pipes doesnt influence the composition of the drinking water in the yard or at home.

Abstract. A future development site of a housing estate, an abandoned-brick yard with clayey slopes was studied in details to assess slope stability and to calculate the factor of safety. The Oligocene clay, the former raw material, is divided into two different geotechnical units in the clay pit. The lower one consists of grey impermeable clays while the upper unit is characterised by yellowish weathered clay having a limited permeability. At some localities the topmost weathered clay layers are covered by loess, and slope debris. Parts of the former pit were also used as a landfill site. The slope stability analyses were performed based on borehole information and laboratory analyses in order to provide necessary engineering geological data for further site development and urban planning. Two geotechnical codes Plaxis and Geo4 were used to model the slope failures and assess the slope stability. The aim of using two different approaches was to compare them since Plaxis uses finite elements modelling while Geo4 uses conventional calculation methods to obtain circular and polygonal slip surfaces. According to model calculations and field data, the main trigger mechanisms of landslides seem to be high pore pressure due to rainwater and small slope debris covered springs. The slip surface is located at the boundary zone of yellow weathered and grey unaltered clay. Two computer models gave very similar results; although Plaxis provides combined safety factor which is slightly more pessimistic when compared to the safety factor obtained by using Geo4.

Bandar Lampung City has a population of 1.051.500 people with a density of 3.308,4 people/km2 in 2018. The population is densely accompanied by residential developments, one of which is housing. Housing in the city of Bandar Lampung amounted to 220 housing estates in 2018 consisting of types 21, 36, 45.54, and 70. Rapidly increasing development certainly affected the surrounding ecosystem. The ant is one indicator of change in the environment. Therefore it is important to research the identification of Myrmicinae ants in three types of housing in Bandar Lampung City. The research was conducted in November - October 2018. This type of research is quantitative with survey methods. The housing of each type is selected by random sampling then ant samples are taken using the standardized transect method. Two transects were installed in the yard of the house and a roadside transect. The ants obtained were identified using photographs, images and the key of determination. The results showed that there were 5 species of Myrmicinae from 3 genera namely Solenopsis geminata, Solenopsis invicta, Solenopsis molest, Tetramorium sp., and Monomorium sp. The most dominant subfamily Formicidae habitats are in the house and terrace house.

Abstract - This paper reveals how the land use change process occurred due to the construction of post-tsunami relocation housing environments, and its impact on the pattern of daily economic activities of local communities in the coastal hilly areas. This study is important along with UU no. 24 Tahun 2007 concerning disaster management that disaster reconstruction activities must take into account the character of the local community and environmental sustainability. The phenomenological approach in this study is by observing the symptoms of the interaction between the artificial environment of the estate settlement, rural environment, and local residents-immigrants and the impact of the system's sustainability in the region. The data such as: 1) pre-tsunami and current land use maps (2020); 2) observation data, regarding daily activities of economic activities in the area; 3) interviews with community leaders to explain the dynamics of local people's economic activities. The analysis method uses a manual interaction diagram system, to read the causality structure which analyzed with “logic of space”. The results are: a) the location of relocated housing has shifted the location of livestock grazing and agricultural gardens towards hills as well as developing mining business activities C about 0.5-1Km from the housing, which is at risk of natural hazards; b) the housing environment somehow hinders the people’s daily freedom of movement and livestock towards the hills. Livestock sometimes cross residential areas and even eat plants in house yards and green open spaces and these disturb the comfort of residential residents. The conclusion is that the pattern of placing the relocated housing environment has created “space in space” which changes the pattern of community home-range activities. Suggestions for the sustainability of the economic life of local residents and the comfort of living for newcomers are the need for a strategy to organize an official route of movement to the hills and to make improvements to land for the hills, as well as the obligation to permanently fence off the housing environment. Both things are done with systems approach and synergize the interests of local communities and migrant communities. Keywords – relocated housing, vernacular settlements, hilly coastal areas, spatial behavior, Aceh Besar

Traditionally, concentration of Waqf Land utilisations are mostly confining to the construction of mosques, grave yards, orphanage centres and old folks homes and the likes. Without doubt those are important and significant institutions, however there should also be creative and innovative ways of developing Waqf Land while in the meantime not to ignore the traditional utilisations of Waqf Land. Real estate is one of the most effective investment venture, and with professionally managed systems and efficient project planning and implementations, Waqf Land can yield very good return in both Monetary and Non-Monetary. The thousands of acres of the undeveloped Waqf Land in Malaysia and perhaps hundreds of thousands of acres or even millions of acres worldwide must be tackled in a holistic, systematic and efficient manner. The accelerated demand for housing, shop houses other real estate development components resulted in tremendous escalation of prices that are beyond the affordability of the ordinary people, must be resolved amicably. The objective of this paper is to highlight the key components of Real Estate Development’s Financial Feasibility Study and the Development Model of Waqf Land as adopted by UME Sdn Bhd. The optimum development of Waqf Land hopefully can cushion this scenario. Cases of success stories of the real estate developments will be highlighted and discussed. By adopting an appropriate development methodology model and some improvements of relevant fatwas, hopefully it acts as a guide for a more sustainable Waqf Land development.
