This molecule being carcinogenic, another aldehyde: the non-toxic dimethoxyethanal (DME), is being used to formulate these new environnement-friendly adhesives. To achieve a goal of this study, two main research approaches were taken. First, resin synthesis was studied with the aim of obtaining the most reactive, stable long-life products. The second part of the worl consists in using post-addition additives, such as isocyanates and latexes, to increase significantly the performance of the resins. Throughout the study, particleboards are made and tested, according to the relevant standards and with the goal of getting to industrial manufacturing conditions. Der volle Inhalt der QuelleInterventional radiology (IR) has undeniable advantages. With embolization techniques, patients with potentially life-threatening haemorrhage can be treated. Glue can be used but, their technique of use remains very empirical. The complications of glue embolization can be very serious. Their maneuverability can be apprehended. In the first part of this work we studied in vitro the characteristics of several glues and in particular the latest releases on the market (Glubran 2 and Purefill, compared to Histoacryl), according to their preparation (temperature, mixing ratio with lipiodol). We also studied the characteristic times of these 3 glues. The second part of this work focused on the RI applied to oncology. It is divided into several works with the common objective of optimizing the RI techniques in hepatobiliary. A clinical study focused on the interest and safety of endobiliary biopsies. A study consisted in the realization of a survey of practices in arterial chemo-embolization (TACE) of hepatocellular carcinoma in France. Two studies focused on in vitro research of the best cytotoxic agent (s) on cell lines (uveal melanoma murine u2 and μ2F and human mel 270 and OMM 1.3 and colorectal cancer HT29, SW 48, SW 480, SW 620, HCT116, CaCo2) under short exposure time (30 min) to mimic TACE conditions. For uveal melanomas, it was found that paclitaxel was significantly the best agent among those tested. For CRC cells, idarubicin was the best cytotoxic agent, followed by gemcitabine. The ultimate goal was to find the most effective cytotoxic agent (s) to optimize the TACE treatment of liver metastases from these 2 origins. A final work was done to apprehend in vitro the embolization part of the TACE. Embolization has been equated with hypoxia. We were able to evaluate the effect of 2-level hypoxia (1% and 0.2%) on cell viability after they were exposed (30 minutes) with chemotherapy. Severe hypoxia leads to chemoresistance under these conditions of evaluation. This work should lead to studies on animal models as well as the establishment of clinical trials

The modern technical trend is that electronic products are becoming lightweight, thin, compact and small in size. As a result, the electronic elements and printed circuit boards (PCBs) have to match this trend as they also become smaller. The traditional soldering has been developed toward surface mounting technology (SMT). SMT is a technology where the electronic elements are soldered onto a PCB and the both are packaged into a single component. The settings of glue dispensing parameters depend heavily on the knowledge and experience of engineers and that makes it difficult for passing on experience. This study was aimed to conduct a two-stage experiment for an SMT glue dispensing process. A destructive test involving longitudinal and lateral force was performed for vital data. A cause and effect analysis was performed to determine that the factors of influence were the temperature and rate of reflow soldering. The L9(34) orthogonal array was used to repeat the test twice and the noise factor was two different position on the PCB. The Taguchi method and Technique for Order. Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) were introduced to integrate two quality characteristics. The analysis of variance was used to produce a cross analysis table. The RC value from TOPSIS was entered in the neural network to build a model. The optimal solution was identified using the permutation and combination by fragmentation as an attempt to determine the best-fit parameter combination for multiple quality characteristics. The result suggested that the best-fit factor combination for stage 1 consisted of the reflow soldering temperature of 265°C and soldering rate of 95 cm/min; and the best-fit factor combination for stage 2 indicated that the reflow soldering temperature was Curve 1 and the soldering rate was 90 cm/min.

Among 95% of traditional Chinese medicines are imported and the quality is difficult to control. The adulteration of high cost Chinese medicine with cheap ingredients occurs frequently in recent years. Therefore, consumers pay more attention to this issue and it is necessary to develop a analysis for detection of Chinese medicine. Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a kind of novel of nucleic acid based analysis. LAMP has been used for virus and microrganism analysis mostly. It is only applied on meat, plant speices and allergens identification for food analysis. The objective of this study is to develop a rapid, simple and sensitive LAMP based method for authentication of EBN and donkey glue. Result showed that the detection limit of EBN primers used in LAMP analysis was 10-5 ng and 0.01% of EBN DNA. The primer had no cross-reaction to other species including white fungus, egg white and pig skin. After 120 min and 60 min of boiling and autoclave treatment, EBN DNA still could be detected by PCR and LAMP analysis. Six commercial products of EBN could be analyzed by PCR and LAMP test. For donkey glue primer, the detection limit in LAMP assay were 10-2 and 10-3 ng DNA of Shandong and Zhengjiao donkey glue. The primer had no cross-reaction to other species including horse, cow, pork, goat, sheep and chicken. The detection limit of donkey glue primer in sample of donkey glue mixed with other food mixture was 0.1%. Donkey glue still could be detected after boiled and autoclaved for 40 min by LAMP primer. Four commercial products of donkey glue could be detected by LAMP test. According to the results, the developed of EBN and donkey glue primers could be applied on LAMP analysis, and look forward to detection more traditional Chinese medicines by LAMP method.

The Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) plan is a main watershed management approach to improve the impaired water quality under the Clean Water Act of USA. In addition, margin of safety (MOS), one of the major components in TMDL implementation, which accounts for uncertainties about the relationship between pollutant loads and receiving water quality, is usually evaluated by a specified percentage instead of more precise quantification. This research aims to scientifically quantify the MOS in TMDL program by employing the uncertainty analysis for model’s predictions. The SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) model’s inputs and their uncertainty effects on model simulations for assessing the nutrient loadings in Feitsui Reservoir watershed were fully investigated. The effects of output uncertainty in model input parameters were evaluated by employing Generalized Likelihood Uncertainty Estimation (GLUE) based on Latin hypercube Sampling (LHS). The results of uncertainty analysis revealed that the MOS value of the reservoir nitrate nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus (TP) loadings are 0.47%, 5.33%, and 22.97% of TMDL amounts, respectively. Moreover, the validated SWAT model will be employed to evaluate the long-term water quality impacts due to the implementation of several Best Management Practice (BMP) scenarios. In the first place, the results of TMDL calculation show that the simulated average annual TP maximum concentration (0.0349 mg/l) has exceeded the maximum allowable concentration (0.02 mg/l) which was calculated based on the water quality standards of Category A water bodies. Therefore, second BMP scenarios were developed to reduce TP loading and elevate the water quality within standard of Category A. Various BMP scenarios consisting of terrace, field border, manure incorporation, nutrient management, and grade stabilization structure are further simulated for TP reduction. The simulation results show that manure incorporation is the best BMP scenario. Additionally, the implementation of five BMPs combination scenario will make average annual TP maximum concentration (0.0173 mg/l) to satisfy the water quality standard (0.02 mg/l). This study concluded that GLUE combines LHS can be effectively applied to assess uncertainty, and quantify the MOS component in a more scientific approach during TMDL assessment. The results of this study demonstrates an effective management approach for administration authority to control pollution efficiently and protect water quality with specified standards for all water bodies.

Therefore, the production of the box fit the strength mode of production optimization that related to the overall production operating costs and future industrial upgrading benefits and is a key item of color box manufacturing. Therefore, for the production of the color box fit the strength of the model to further research and improvement of continuous innovation that will help the color box industry of Taiwan in the competitive and steep market environment. At present, the innovation and progress of science and technology and the concept of optimal production complement each other and the color box laminating strength mode process of manufacturer that also will continue to adjust. In terms of process, from the initial artificial form of the process to the use of automated processing system to enhance productivity and increase overall revenue synergies. This study based on the experience of the company in the automation of the production line for many years that explored the automation and optimization of the production of the paper laminating process and further optimized the product quality. And the research results are applied to the production line of color box industry and the added value of industrial innovation and upgrading. The results are as follows: 1. Import paper automation and best optimization mode. 2. Science and technology innovation business model management industry to upgrade its added value.
