Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe increase in life expectancy, the requests for prostheses renewal and the local or general factors responsible for progressive tooth loss lead to the fact that a constant number of complete removable prostheses are still produced. Therefore, the Complete Removable Prosthesis remains a major therapy to this date. The use of digital tools for the complete removable prosthesis and their marketing on the international market have been recently developed. Today, they constitute an alternative therapeutic response for toothless patients. However, these new tools remained to be validated in a clinical setting. The validation of a care practice involves checking whether the expected result of the care is actually obtained. Total removable prostheses essentially aim to satisfy a dual social and functional objective, and while it is customary for clinicians to consider patient satisfaction to verify the achievement of the aesthetic objective, few have a routine practice of functional assessment. With a view to being able to propose a method for the evaluation of the total prostheses produced by CAD/CAM, this work undertakes a critical analysis of the methods for the functional evaluation of total prosthesis rehabilitation. The literature search conducted in the first part of this work reports that functional assessment could be carried out by psychometric tests, in the form of questionnaires that could be implemented in clinical practice, and by physiological or biological tests more often implemented in research than in clinical practice. In Part 2, the limitations of functional assessment by psychometric tests are discussed. The 3rd part aims to verify whether physiological assessment methods of mastication are suitable for the evaluation of the outcome of functional rehabilitation by complete prosthesis. In particular, it was verified on the one hand which variables must be controlled during a granulometric food bolus analysis, and on the other hand which test foods could be used for the evaluation of the result of functional rehabilitation by Removable Complete Implanto-Retained Prosthesis.Future prospects involve the validation of a test food that can be chewed by edentulous subjects at all stages of their prosthetic rehabilitation and which, at the same time, allows its collection at the swallowing threshold in a physiological mastication framework

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleWithin the teaching interaction framework, the objective of our study is to describe the linguistic forms and functions of teachers' rephrasings in oral interactions in the third cycle of primary school. The application of Gülich and Kotschi's linguistic model (1987) of the rephrasing reveals its functioning in teaching interactions. The corpus which we propose to analyze consists of eight sessions, with different teaching objects, recorded in two CM2 classes, one led by an experienced teacher and the other one by a novice teacher. Rephrasings are an integral part of the construction of knowledge in class. They play a different role according to the subjects being taught. In learning situations, rephrasings aim towards a precise target, they allow the validation or problématisation of the pupils' statements. The analysis of this teaching interactions corpus confirms the linguistic model that was constructed to give an account of this linguistic phenomenon and may claim to refine the initial model by adding new rephrasing categories. The analysis of rephrasings of two teachers enables specification of the rephrasing functions, as well as bringing out invariant characterictics of the teaching interactions

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleHearing-impaired (HI) individuals can perceive speech sounds with the help of hearing-aids (HA) and/or cochlear-implants (CI). Hence, factors concerning those devices, such as implantation age, type of device used and the usage duration of device, can affect the development of their speech perception ability. Recent findings suggest the involvement of orofacial somatosensory inputs in speech perception. The development of their speech perception ability may be related to the acquisition of this auditory-somatosensory integration in speech perception. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the role of orofacial somatosensory inputs in speech perception and production in HI and normal hearing (NH) individuals. In a series of studies, orofacial somatosensory stimulation associated with facial skin deformation was used as a main tool. This somatosensory stimulation induces perceptual modulation, which is represented by the shift of categorical boundary in vowel perception, when the stimulation was applied with the speech sound. This thesis mainly focused on how this somatosensory effect in perception is related to the production and perception abilities. The first study examined a relationship between the orofacial somatosensory effect in speech perception and production performance in NH individuals. Amplitude of somatosensory effect in speech perception was positively correlated with the acoustic distance between the target vowels in production. The result suggests that acquiring a precise performance of speech production can be associated with greater gain of auditory-somatosensory integration. The second study examined whether speech perceptual training with somatosensory stimulation modifies speech production. The perceptual training was a vowel identification task with somatosensory stimulation. Following this perceptual training, production performance of corresponding vowel sounds was reliably changed while the perceptual training with auditory sounds alone was not. The results suggest that receiving specific pairs of auditory-somatosensory inputs can be important in speech motor learning. The third study examined whether HI individuals also showed the somatosensory effect in speech perception and how this effect is related to their hearing ability. Hearing ability of HI individuals was evaluated as hearing threshold in noise, which was obtained using a speech-in-noise test, and factors concerning their hearing device. The results showed that somatosensory effect was varied depending on their hearing ability. Long-time HA users who also had high threshold in noise, showed large somatosensory effect in speech perception. In contrast, CI users, who also had relatively low hearing threshold in noise, showed little or no changes in speech perception due to somatosensory stimulation. The development of hearing ability based on hearing experience can affect the acquirement of auditory-somatosensory integration. The fourth study examined whether HI individuals showed sensorimotor adaptation using altered auditory feedback. The results showed long-time CI users showed an adaptation but HA users did not. Since the long-time CI users were able to identify auditorily small difference of synthesized auditory stimuli as NH individuals, speech sensorimotor adaptation in HI individuals can be similar to the one in NH individuals when they can receive proper auditory feedback by using hearing devices. In all, the development of auditory-somatosensory integration can be related to the development of perception and production abilities. Somatosensory inputs can play an important role in the development of speech perception in both HI and NH individuals

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleTo study folktales today is a vast and complex task, as much research has already been done in this field. Yet the subject is so rich that il will niver be exhausted, since many questions which remain unanswered. We have tried to focus on the oral aspect of the folktales, which is regarded as being a fundamental aspect in this field. The concept of the "orality" is also manifold and ambivalent. It can be looked at within the frame-work of literature (oral literature written literature), of linguistics (speechlanguage word-writing), of semantics (signifiant signifie) or of psychoanalysis (oral phase). However, all these oral dimensions stem from a common origin which is the "mouth", performing two major functions ; that of speaking and eating. Thus, we have dealt in our research with the communication functions and the representation of alimentary functions of orality together, in the french and chinese folktales collections
Deleu, Christophe. „Usages, fonctions et portée de la parole des gens ordinaires à la radio“. Lille 2, 2002. http://www.theses.fr/2002LIL20001.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn our society nowadays all medias are in position of hyper competition : an ever growing tendency to an audience logic (a mercantile logic). At the same time ordinary people's talk is more and more heard on the radio in several programmes: forum, "coach programmes" and radio documentaries. It may sometimes give the impression that the radio tends to a civic logic by welcoming anonymous people in the media sphere. Isn't there a contradiction between a mercantile logic and a civic one ? We may legitimately wonder if by doing so - letting the ordinary people express themselves on the air - radio is pursuing a civic logic aiming at widening the democratic space and encouraging a better knowledge and understanding of the world we live in. Or, on the contrary, pursuing a "audien027230538ce logic" since the purpose of the radio is - first at all - to reach and widen its audience. .

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn linguistic interaction, the use of the particle enfin provide various discursive activities of the speakers. In this study, we aim at determining the frequency and the occurrence varieties of this short word in the interaction, according to situations and types of activity in which the subjects commit themselves, in order to understand its interactionnal and functional characteristics. Following this purpose, we decide to adopt a multidimensional analysis framework (Conversation Analysis , Discourse in Interactions ). Our work method relies on the analysis of the participants verbal activities. It is based on audio/ video recordings. Therefore, we take notice of the recurring elements surrounding the particle, we collect these elements to convert them into the formats: seven usages of enfin have been identified, each of them subdivided in several subcategories and which can sometimes have a contradictory range (conclusive/ introductory, discontinuity/continuity, etc). In an inter-discursive approach, enfin betrays a dissimilarity in its use due to the context. As a conclusion, we can say that enfin operates differently depending to the framework nature (formal / informal)
Aggarwal, Tara Kusum. „Hampâté Bâ et le savoir : de la recherche africaniste à l'exercice de la fonction auctoriale“. Paris 4, 1997. http://www.theses.fr/1997PA040010.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe study proposes to analyze the writings of Hampâté Bâ by locating them within the framework of scientific and literary discourses in which they are rooted; to understand them through the multiple filiations that structure his perceptions of knowledge on Africa. To this purpose, we will attempt to interrogate his works through their conditions of possibility and determine their formulation by questioning the discursive paradigm that inform Africanist perceptions in Europe and Africa. Basing our analysis on the concept of field of knowledge, we have tried to understand the writers works through the various discourses and counter-discourses that mark Africanism since its inception with the French conquest of Africa western research, both colonial and anthropological, (Delafosse and Griaule) as well as Africa research as reflected in the writings of African writers and thinkers (1st congress of African writers and artists) are some of the modalities we have discussed in the first part of this study. However, as Hampâté Bâ works draw from Africanism, it is inevitable that he be confronted with the question of orality. The second part of our study proposes to address this concept both as a literary motive and as a social and textual practice and questions its implications. In the third part of our study, we move on to review Hampâté Bâ works to understand his perceptions on Africa and Africanist knowledge and determine current trends in Africanism where a major shift seems to have occurred : it is no longer merely a space within which writers and thinkers interrogate Africa, but a space which provides for the practice of literature and philosophy

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research seeks to elucidate the nature of reformulations in exolingual communication. From an inter-actionist approach, the reformulation displays the metalingual activity of the speaker in order to ensure an efficacious discourse and communication, with the support of those lingual means. A corpus comprising recordings of three tasks carried out by non-native speakers served to reveal the forms and functions of reformulations. Comparisons demonstrate how they vary according to each task, how their functions are intrinsically connected to the forms, such connections depending on the native or non-native status which influences the frequency and type of reformulation. Mis or her experience and communicative competence constitute further variables. Finally, a study of sequences with focalisation on the linguistic code attempts to demonstrate the strategies utilised in order to ensure a successful communication and capable of facilitating the acquisition of the non-native language

Doctoral thesis, Universite Libre de Bruxelles, 2016. http://hdl.handle.net/2013/ULB-DIPOT:oai:dipot.ulb.ac.be:2013/247536.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleGrounded in the framework of the discourse-in-interaction analysis, this work analyses the forms and functions of reported speech within the six second-round debates of the French presidential election taking place in France between 1974 and 2012. Its object is to precisely determine the purpose of reported speech (which one might think that it is not truly constitutive of the genre) within these interactions in which candidates’main aims are self-promotion and the opponent depreciation.By analysing in details the almost four hundreds extracts recorded in the corpus, our work shows that reported speeches aim, depending on their place within the exchanges, their source (the opponent, a third party or the speaker) and their propositional content, three different purposes we can consider as self-promotion, defence and argument — these purposes can be furthermore supported by some para- and non-verbal elements (voice movements, facial expression, posture, eye expression and gesture deployed at the same time).Following an initial intuition, this study reveals that not only reported speeches serve the candidates’ main goals during debates, but also, depending on their source, they assure different and complementary functions (functions serving the dynamic within the exchanges and the construction of a speech in confrontation, functions exclusively argumentative, or also functions relating to the debates global purpose).

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleAs several physiological functions are immature in preterm infants, they are exposed to various complications, particularly in the gastrointestinal tract. The intestinal microbiota (MI) stimulates a range of important intestinal functions of the host and, may affect intestinal homeostasis. Sterile in utero, the digestive tract is colonized at birth by various microorganisms. Few studies have been performed in preterm infants to study the establishment of the MI. The impaired intestinal colonization process occurring in preterm infants may be responsible for digestive diseases, and constitute a major obstacle to enteral feeding. In that population, the modulation of the MI represents an attractive therapeutic approach. The aim of our study was to evaluate the digestive and nutritional effect of oral supplementation with probiotics (B. Longum BB536 and L. Rhamnosus GG) in very low birth weight infants. We showed that the oral supplementation with probiotics did not 1) accelerate intestinal maturation (except for the infants weighing >1000g at birth), nor 2) improve the clinical evolution of infant, nor 3) modify the composition of the MI (except for the probiotic strains colonization), or 4) decrease the fecal calprotectin values. In addition, in comparison with culture and established molecular techniques, we validated the use of DHPLC as a new tool for monitoring the MI of preterm infants. In that population, few markers of intestinal inflammation and function are available. We determined the time course and the factors influencing the fecal excretion of calprotectin, a marker of intestinal inflammation. Finally, plasma citrulline (Citp), proposed in adults as an index of intestinal function can’t be used in preterm infants for ethical reasons. We tried to determined whether red blood cell or urinary citrulline (CitRBC and Citu) can be markers of intestinal function. After validation of a new GCMS method, we reported in healthy adults that although the values of CitRBC and Citu varied in the same direction as Citp, Citu may not closely reflect Citp. So, the usefulness of this marker in preterm infants remains to be established

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe two first chapters of this present study examines underlines the reasons for which biblical scholars are more and more convinced that read the corpus as a whole, in its present form, remains the best way to understand it message. The first chapter demonstrates that the commentators who advocate a diachronic approach sought and continue to justify the composition of this book by the hypothetical reconstitution of the “ipsissima verba” of Amos. They often divide the text into numerous small independent fragments; sacrificing nine passages perceived as secondary and out of place and arranges certain of them as they think fit. The second chapter demonstrates that these same passages prevent the followers of the synchronic approach agreeing on a structure capable of proving that this corpus is a very sophisticated work. The three last chapters study the nine passages often considered secondary and disparate. They show that these passages are in harmony with their contexts and their presence is essential to the literary and theological balance of the book. This study reveals de facto that, this corpus is a well-organized book with a unifying literary strategy

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleFar from the oecumenical celebration and the negritudian idealization of pre-colonial africa on the one hand, and the worship of formal franch language made from writers of his generation on the other hand, kourouma elaborates a new and deliberately inconoclastic and novelistic aesthetics in his novels. Half-way between oral tradition and classical novel writing, kouroumian aesthetics is embeded in an enunciative problematic. If the ultimate goal of this study is the expression of high degree, our approch is double-sided : showing the influence of oral tradition on the novelist's writing through his excessive use of hyperbole in the narration ; showing, by the description of linguistic expressiveness mechanism, in general, how the essential concern of the quest for a discursive credibility is solved. Among other subjects, we deal here with the frame of kouroumian aesthetics, that is, the problem of linguistic interferences and peculiarities, the problem of synonyms, polysemy and lexical creation. Un other words, without pretending to be exhaustive, this linguistic and semantic study intends to answer the questions of expressive and affective syntax, of grammar and, above all, of psychological and socio-cultural conditions of enunciation

Der volle Inhalt der QuellePBDEs belong to flame retardants, substances heavily used in recent decades. These molecules are now found ubiquitously in the environment outside and inside. Humans are exposed to these pollutants through diet and ingestion/inhalation of household dust or contaminated industrial dust. Their lipophilic properties and their persistence are the cause of their bioaccumulation in abiotic and biological matrices (milk, serum ...). The research works of this thesis was aimed to assess the impact of exposure to a toxic environmental pollutant and very prevalent, BDE-99, administered in conditions reflecting the human exposure. Thus, the effects of long-term exposure to realistic doses of BDE-99 (0.15, 1.5 and 15 µg/kg/day) were evaluated in terms neurobehavioral and physiological in male Sprague-Dawley rats. No alteration of the activity, anxiety and cognitive function has been highlighted that the animals were treated in adulthood, from weaning or from the 8th day of postnatal life. The only significant behavioral variations observed were transient locomotor coordination disorders and a delay of one day of eye opening in animals treated with BDE-99 from the age of 8 days. On a physiological level, no significant variation in body weight change, food and water consumption and weight of several organs (liver, brain, kidneys, spleen and thymus) was observed whatever the dose of BDE-99 administered and the exposure period considered. These results show that this pollutant administered to rats at realistic doses, reflecting those to which humans are actually exposed, is not able to induce neurobehavioral toxicity that the animal are contaminated in adulthood or at different phases of postnatal development. The fact to have used corresponding the level of environmental exposure is undoubtedly the basis of discrepancies observed between the results of this work and those of the published studies elsewhere, underscoring the necessity to realize exposure models the most possible relevant in order to able to conclude at best about risk associated with this family of contaminants to human health

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleBased on the copy of marcel proust's contre sainte-beuve and a la recherche du temps perdu manuscripts, this thesis wants to show the writer's work and his hesitations. It compares the character's speeches to define all the morphological categories. Oral speech and interior speech often have the same morphological types. But the "internal oralised monologue", a kind of oralised dujardin's interior monologue, is between them. The speech which is told "reported speech" is not, in fact, perhaps, because the reporting instance - narrator says what he wants to say. Is there only one free indirect style? have we to distinguish narration of words or thoughts from narration about words or thoughts? ne tried to answer these questions in analysing the speeches' functions in la recherche. This thesis proposes a new approach of the character's speech in the fiction
