AbstractPelabuhan Tanjung Perak Surabaya merupakan pelabuhan terbesar di kawasan Indonesia bagian timur. PT PELINDO III melakukan pengembangan Arus Pelayaran Barat Surabaya (APBS). Akibatnya aktivitas sekitar APBS meningkat yang berpotensi menimbulkan pencemaran di perairan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan kualitas air berdasarkan baku mutu biota laut dan indek kualitas air di sekitar APBS. Indeks kualitas air yang digunakan adalah Indeks Pencemaran (IP) dan National Sanitation Federation Water Quality Index (NSF WQI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perairan di sekitar APBS dan lokasi pembuangan material keruk mengalami penurunan kualitas air laut dengan beberapa parameter tidak memenuhi baku mutu yaitu TSS 30 mg/l (ST 1), kekeruhan 19 NTU (ST 1), nitrat (0,7 mg/l di ST1dan 0,5 mg/l di ST2) dan di semua titik sampling diperoleh kadar DO (3 mg/l), fosfat 0,02 – 0,6 mg/L dan kecerahan (0,55 - 1.70 m). Indeks kualitas air di sekitar APBS dan lokasi pembuangan material keruk dengan metode IP dihasilkan tercemar sedang (ST 1, S2 dan ST 4 ) dan tercemar ringan (ST 3, ST 5 dan ST 6). Nilai kualitas perairan berdasarkan NSF WQI diperoleh dua kategori yaitu baik ( ST 3, ST 4, ST 5) dan sedang (ST 1, ST 2 dan ST 6).Keywords: aktivitas sekitar APBS, kualitas air, indeks pencemaran, NSF WQI AbstrakTanjung Perak Surabaya is the biggest harbor in the Eastern part of Indonesia. PT Pelindo III implemented the development of the eastern fairway Surabaya (APBS). Consequently, the activities arround them increased. It had potential to cause water polllution. This study is aim to determine the water quality based on standart quality of marine biota and the index of water quality arround APBS. Index of water quality are pollution index (IP) and National Sanitation Federation Water Quality Index (NSF WQI). The result of the study showed that the water harbor arround APBS and the location of dreging material were decreasing in the term of the quaity of the saltwater . The quality of saltwater did not reach the standart quality, which was TSS 30 mg/l (ST 1), the turbidity of 19 NTU (ST 1), nitrate (0.7 mg / l in ST1dan 0.5 mg / l in ST2) and at all sampling points obtained DO concentration (3 mg / l), phosphate from 0.02 to 0.6 mg / L and brightness (from 0.55 to 1.70 m) .Index of water quality arround APBS and dregging material disposal site that was used IP method was medium polluted (ST 1, S2 and ST 4) and lightly polluted (ST 3, ST 5 and ST 6). Values of water quality by NSF WQI obtained two categories: good (ST 3, ST 4, ST 5) and medium (ST 1, ST 2 and ST 6).Kata kunci: the activities arround APBS, water qualiy, pollution index, NSF WQI

Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of January Effect, Week Four Effect, and Holiday Effect on Stock Return of LQ-45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2020 period. This study uses secondary data in the form of historical data taken from yahoofinance.com and IDX. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling method, resulting in 115 suitable samples based on predetermined criteria. The analytical method used to test the hypothesis in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research that has been done show that the January Effect and Week Four Effect have no effect on Stock Returns, while the Holiday Effect has no effect on Stock Returns. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan Kampung Coklat juga membawa dampak yangsangat signifikan bagi kemajuan lingkungan dan daerah, baik secara sosial maupun ekonomi.Dalam berbagai kasus, keberhasilan pemasaran sebuah wahana atau destinasi wisata berkaitan eratdengan upaya branding yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bermaksud mendalami strategi brandingyang dilakukan oleh Kampung Coklat yang mengkategorikan dirinya sebagai wisata edukasi.Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan diri peneliti sendiri sebagaiinstrumen utama. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumen, pengamatan di lapangan,dan wawancara mendalam dengan personil kunci Kampung Coklat sebagai narasumber. Dataprimer dan sekunder yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan tehnik analisadata kualitatif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwaselain rancangan unsur-unsur merek (brand), differentiation dan brand positioning, konsep“confuse effect” dan “wow effect” menjadi strategi branding yang sangat menentukankeberhasilan Wisata Edukasi Kampung Coklat.

This paper argues that traditional contrasts between countries as depicted by the societal effect approach, among others, may have been over-emphasized. Diverse evidence suggests that aspects of work organization, government policies and training arrangements have changed substantially over the last decade or so, and multinational companies have been effective in diffusing best practices across borders. One implication is that organizational and globalization effects may complement or even counteract the societal effect. This suggests that some cases, where the presumption has been that societal effects are dominant, may be open to a modified analysis.

This paper examines the association between media reporting on suicides and the subsequent suicides. Scientific papers from two online bibliographic sources Medline (PubMed) and PsycINFO were searched. The sample included 108 research papers examining the impact of different types of media stories on suicides. The review revealed that although the media can be a double-edged sword and serve both as a risk and a protective factor, the vast majority of research suggests that the relationship between the media reporting and the actual suicide rates is causal and real. Moreover, both the quantity and the quality of media reporting may trigger additional suicides in society. Simultaneously, research suggests that especially non-fictional presentations of celebrities’ suicides in newspapers and on television news have the biggest influence on the subsequent suicides. Additionally, a strong modelling effect of media reporting on suicide is based on nationality, age, and gender. However, research shows that because a negative reporting style can be modifiable and improved, the media can also have an educative or preventive effect and can reduce the risk of contagion. Consequently, it is important to monitor the implementation of media recommendations for the reporting of suicide, and continuous education of reporters is needed.

The study utilizes closing price data, specifically the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) data on the Indonesia Stock Exchange throughout the research period. All data used are secondary data that has been published. Hypothesis testing in this research employs parametric statistical methods, specifically an independent sample t-test for difference testing. The results of the testing indicate the presence of the Monday Effect, Week-Four Effect, and January Effect anomalies in the Indonesian capital market from 2016 to 2020.

The concept of acting intentionally is an important nexus where theory of mind and moral judgment meet. Preschool children's judgments of intentional action show a valence-driven asymmetry. Children say that a foreseen but disavowed side effect is brought about “on purpose” when the side effect itself is morally bad, but not when it is morally good. This is the first demonstration in preschoolers that moral judgment influences judgments of whether something was done on purpose (as opposed to judgments of purpose influencing moral judgment). Judgments of intentionality are usually assumed to be purely factual. That these judgments are sometimes partly normative—even in preschoolers—challenges current understanding. Young children's judgments regarding foreseen side effects depend on whether the children process the idea that the character does not care about the side effect. As soon as preschoolers effectively process the theory-of-mind concept “not care that P,” children show the side-effect effect.

Annotation:
We revisit the Schwinger effect in de Sitter (ds), anti-de Sitter (Ads) spaces and charged black holes, and explore the interplay between quantum electrodynamics (QED) and the quantum gravity effect at one-loop level. We then advance a thermal interpretation of the Schwinger effect in curved spacetimes. Finally, we show that the Schwinger effect in a near-extremal black hole differs from Hawking radiation of charged particles in a nonextremal black hole and is factorized into those in an Ads space and a Rindler space with the surface gravity for acceleration.
