Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research focuses on the contextualization of the "prenatal education", known in Korean as the " Taegyo", starting point of "lifelong education ". The two main axes are : - The analysis of the educational practice of prenatal education in traditional society and contemporary society. - The analysis of the evolution of prenatal education about value, belief, the influence of spirituality, the transmission of knowledge, the roles of parents and recommendations for future parents. The research methodology was conducted by means of semi-structured interviews with 10 Korean couples, the observation of a group of university students following prenatal education classes in Seoul, and two questionnaires completed by 91 students on their representation / knowledge of this education. This thesis contributes to understand the history and motivations of this age-old practice in Korea, and the characters and the originality of its current use for modern parents. The results show that prenatal education advocates certain behaviors to parents, based on peace, respect, protection, love and the good development of the unborn child. Some virtues are also highlighted as kindness, cooperation and self-control

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe main purpose of this paper is to identify the Korean mothers' enthusiasm itself for the education of their children. The data are based on interviews implemented in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The sample is composed of twenty-three Korean mothers who have one or more children aged between 13 – 18 years. Twelve out of the sample are housewives and other eleven have paid job. The questionnaire is designed specifically to find out hidden meanings of enthusiasm for the almost blind investment in the education of children by checking the priority given by Korean mother to the success of the children on the basis of individual, family, and social variants of interviewees. The interview has been analysed according to the frequency of various subjects mentioned in the course of dialogue. This paper extends its analysis into the relationship between the knowledge and Korean mothers by referring the existing research on the relationship between women and knowledge in patriarchal societies of Nicole Mosconi and terms of ‘habitus' and ‘male dominion' of Pierre Bourdieu. In brief, the enthusiasm for the education of children is a strategy for identity of Korean mothers to secure individual and social position for themselves in the context of their current situation

Hyundai can have greater -flexibility and less uncertainty, by the fact that it is between employment and training of the multisectorial group founded by the private owner. These are the reasons for dynamic success of Hyundai. The niulti-sectorial organization (hierarchal and flexible), the private form of ownership (reduced number of owners), the existence of mediatory labour market, the ideal confucianist culture (promoting informal relations between employees. The important role of state coordination, should increase the possibility of the emergence of a typical korean model for HMC (hyundai motors co. ) or hyundaism, type of dynamic organization characterised by the methods of management of human resources and the type of development founded on the diversification of activities and the massive re-investment of profits

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe objective of the study is to highlight the functions of the teacher in FLE classroom interactions and to discover teaching methods that can lead to optimal teaching results of FLE in South Korea. We collected the oral corpus of both Korean and French teachers in class with Korean learners to compare their techniques and to identify how the learning objectives and learners' understanding are accomplished. The observed, recorded classes were analyzed in order to observe the method of constitution of the didactic scenario and the didactic strategies that each teacher chooses according to his own experiences and culture and their didactic effects. Interaction analysis in the classroom is accompanied by interviews with teachers before/ after the class ; The planning and the self-evaluation of each teacher enables us to understand their didactic choices. This study finally leads us to reflect on the type of teaching contextualized for Koreans; Interviews and a survey of learners are presented to identify their wants and needs and then discussed in relation to the work of the teacher. The study aims to establish the different roles of the teacher adapted to the Korean public
You, Hee-Yeun. „Les cultures métalinguistiques dans l’enseignement et l’apprentissage du français et des langues en Corée du Sud“. Thesis, Paris 3, 2009. http://www.theses.fr/2009PA030104.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis study bears on the metalinguistic culture that can be found in the teaching of languages in South Korea, at the level of secondary school, especially concerning French. This research aims at identifying which kind of educational culture is involved in the teaching of foreign languages as dispensed in the official instructions and the teacher’s guides and textbooks on the three languages [Korean, English, French]. In the school context, Korean learners follow the very same course in their study of foreign languages as their teachers previously did [Korean native tongue, English as only possible first foreign language]. We tried to determine whether there is an influence related to the order of this obligatory learning sequence [Korean, English, French], by examining the pedagogical discourses and linguistic descriptions which appear in the textbooks on the three languages, all texts coming from the 7th Reform of the curriculum. More particularly, we think we have shown, on the basis of an analysis of the textbooks and teacher’s guides on French, in which way metalinguistic and educational cultures that can be detected in the teaching of French are influenced by the metalinguistic and educational cultures which were referred to during the learning of Korean and English languages. The Korean authors of textbooks on French call upon concepts coming from the description of Korean or English languages, when there is no available equivalent between the target language and the source language

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research is in the field of foreign language didactics. It is particularly about learning spoken French via mobile technology. We carried out a research action while we elaborated a training device which would allow Korean learners of French to practice oral speech. As Korean culture is influenced by Confucian philosophy, teaching-learning foreign languages is characterized by a hierarchical relationship between the "master" and his "disciple" and is often focused on writing. Our didactic scenario included language learning tasks outside of formal learning and supported by distance tutoring. A couple of experiments were conducted in 2008 and 2010 with two Korean sets of French language learners living in Korea who were asked to perform language tasks using video recording. The learners were asked to perform oral productions in response to videos recorded by a native French speaker living in France. Through a mobile phone connected to the Internet and an Korean online social network (Cyworld), learners could exchange with the French native asynchronically. This allowed them to record themselves several times and practice speaking skills by the way, benefiting from advice given by a tutor. We analyzed discourse, video-implemented strategies and semi-directed interviews conducted upstream and downstream with the learners. This brought us to find out to which extent online tutoring, communicative tasks performed with a mobile device, and asynchronous communication via an online social network may influence oral production and autonomy of Korean learners of French
Bae, Jin Ah. „La politesse dans la communication interculturelle : les stratégies de politesse utilisées par les coréens apprenant le français comme langue seconde lors des situations de demande“. Thèse, 2012. http://hdl.handle.net/1866/7030.
Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe aim of this study is to investigate request strategies that Korean learners of French use in request situations. The role played by the learners’ first language and their culture of origin in making these choices will also be explored. Three groups of respondents participated in this study: 30 native Korean speakers living in Seoul, Korea, 30 Korean French learners in Montreal, Canada, and 30 French native speakers living in Montreal. Data collected from native speakers of both Korean and French were used to create baseline data reflecting first and second language norms respectively. Four data collecting methods were used: the Discourse Completion Test (DCT); an assessment questionnaire evaluating situational factors such as intimacy, the social power between interlocutors and the degree of imposition of requests; the multiple choice questionnaire (MCQ); and a semi-constructed interview. The responses obtained from the written DCT were analysed using the coding scheme elaborated in the Cross-Cultural Speech Act Realization Project (CCSARP) (Blum-Kulka, House, & Kasper, 1989). The results of the study showed that the Korean French learners estimated situational factors like intimacy and the relative social power that they feel with interlocutors in a manner similar to that of the French native speakers. However, in many situations, the Korean learners of French tended to estimate that a request represented a greater imposition than either group of native speakers. Further, while the Korean French learners frequently used indirect strategies as the French native speakers used them, they showed a tendency towards pragmatic transfer from their first language (L1), using direct strategies more frequently than their native French-speaking counterparts. Moreover, as the Korean French learners used downgraders far less frequently, their semantic formulas were more direct and less polite than the ones used by French native speakers. Concerning supportive moves, the Korean French learners showed a different tendency from the two groups of native speakers, in that they used some categories of supportive moves more frequently. The correlation analysis between the results of the assessment questionnaire about situational factors and the politeness strategies used by respondents revealed that the Korean learners and the French native speakers used more downgraders when they have less social power than the hearer. Finally, the implications of these findings as relates to the pedagogical and didactic aspects of politeness in French as a second language classroom are examined.
