State supervision of financial activities The topic of this dissertation thesis is the state supervision of financial activities. The topic is really wide, so the author can take into account all of the financial relationships related to this area. This thesis focused on theoretical issues, on the legal relationships in this area, and specifically on the selected areas, in which was a drafted question later on in detail analyzed. In the theoretical area are considered terms such as regulation, supervision and control. The aim was to define these concepts theoretically, to chart their frequency and semantic nature in the area of financial activities. The aim of this thesis was also to investigate, whether it is possible to set out the terms that are used both in everyday and in professional life in an identical meaning, and define specifically for the area of financial law. Public procurement is a much-discussed area today. It is about a paid provision of particular goods or services, that are provided from the public funds. Because of the high risk of manipulating with these funds, there is a high level of supervision done from the side of the government of the Czech Republic. This is not just on the national authority’s level, but also on the European community one, where they can with their power, influence the course of implementation of the public procurement in our territory. Except the European regulations in the form of directives, regulation and other documentation, European union also acts like a donator among others, also for implementation of public procurement. This thesis creates an overview about these authorities and their competencies in the field of supervision and control of public procurement. When the public procurement is being submitted and there is a failure in the process, in such case, the public procurement authorities enters the process and checks the correctness of the contracting authority's approach. The practical part is then based on an example from practice, where we encounter above mentioned failure from the side of the submitter and entry of the controlling authority into the realization. Since this contract was granted, the relationship of the hierarchy of supervisory authorities is much more complicated. Practical example therefore states the relationships between particular authorities in their decision-making process. So, what happens when the controlling authority refuses to reimburse costs due to a misconduct in the realization of public procurement contract? To whom the submitter can turn to? These questions are answered by the practical part. Diploma thesis creates a summary, based on the detected misconducts during the implementation of the public contract and drawing of financial support from the operational program and provides following recommendations for the submitter, who initiated the procurement.

The theme of the dissertation is surveillance. Its aim is to answer the following question: up to what extend do we live in a society, which may be described as a surveillance society. For this purpose it defines, what is meant by surveillance, how surveillance evolved through history, which theories relevantly describe this phenomenon and in which spheres surveillance is notable. The dissertation introduces the main theories of the multi-disciplinary field of surveillance studies, which has been developing over the last twenty years. Special attention is focused on CCTV systems. At the same time, the thesis focuses on ethical problems of surveillance, i.e. privacy, discrimination, social exclusion, transparency and responsibility.

In my dissertation I will deal with the issue of surveillance, which is applied in the area of marketing, consumption and in connection with that in advertising. I will concentrate mainly on the current age and therefore on the electronic surveillance, so the history of the surveillance studies will not be dealt with in this thesis in more detail. The first part of the thesis will be theoretical focusing on the main theses and theories of the current surveillance authors, especially the issues of electronic surveillance. The next part of this thesis will focus on surveillance and surveillance techniques in marketing and consumption. In this part I will also build on the theories of contemporary authors discussing the surveillance topic in the commercial sphere, but I will try to complement the theoretical introduction of the issue with the specific functioning of this phenomenon in practice. The aim of this my diploma thesis is to analyze the justification for the establishment of the Institutionalization of the Office for Oversight of Financing of Political Parties and Movements in the Czech Republic. Here I will be particularly interested in the sources of incentives to establish of this Office. Next, I will present the internal settings of the Office itself in the sense of what real changes it has brought to the existing legislation that deals with the financing of political parties in the Czech Republic. In the context of the comparison of the current and formerly valid legal regulations, the fulfillment of the principles of the system of financing of political parties will be monitored. On the basis of empirical data from the Office, evaluate the effectiveness and the justification of the introduction of this Office into the legislation of the Czech Republic. The text of the thesis deals with controlling, monitoring, tracking and analyzing an individual's online activities by another person and the influence of this Internet behavior on its reflection in reality. The theoretical part deals with relevant issues from the field of ethics, psychology, theory of computer communication and theory of privacy and technological supervision. The practical part is focused on qualitative analysis of behavior of individuals living in long distance relationships and their strategies for using new media as a means to control the activity of their faraway partner.

The work deals with the legal and ethical aspects of Christian foundations and endowment funds. The first step is to familiarize ourselves with the basic concepts. The next part of the thesis deals with donations from an ethical a Christian perspective. A brief introduction to the historical development of the foundations and endowment funds, description of the current legislation, foundations and endowment funds and their comparison are integral part parts. In conclusion, the work discusses the possible problems associated with the activities of foundations and endowment funds, the very credibility of Foundations and the degree of people's willingness to participate in fundraisers. The thesis analyzes the compliance with obligations for these entities, including the available public and private mitigation activities, are a foundations and endowment funds greatest problems in complying with the requirement to prepare and publish an annual report. These annual reports should include a true picture of the activities of the foundation.

The thesis deals with actions and activities of Central Press Supervision Office in the period 1953-1966. The goals of this thesis may be further divided in four areas, i.e. gradual formation of Central Press Supervision Office, specific fields of interest of censorship, personnel resources, and finally departmental division of the above mentioned Office. The thesis is sourced mainly from primary materials in archives. The acquisition and further research of such materials in their historical context made it possible to postulate and clarify given thesis subject. The thesis offers a complex overview of the function of Central Press Supervision Office within the background of censorship in The Czech Republic as a whole and with regard to its specific aspects.

Synopsis The aim of this diploma paper is to explain and demonstrate censorial practice of the communist regime in the Czechoslovak Radio. The paper demonstrates via narrators' memories the way the transmission in the Czechoslovak Radio was affected after its takeover by the Communist Party in 1948, namely on the part of both the operational technical staff members and editors. Historical experience of narrators is presented in the context of formerly known events amended by published articles or sources including those of radio archive.

The thesis focuses on the socio-educational work methods of the probation and mediation services and of its workers in relation to their clients with imposed probation supervision and on the opportunities for development and support of their healthy social functioning. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part initially are defined the basic concepts and terms, then it is described the target group of conditionally released from prison clients, which currently are under supervision of a probation officer. The thesis sees the imprisonment as a difficult life situation and it deals with the influence of penitentiary environment on the personality of the convict in relation to his further development. In the second part are described the specific activities of the probation and mediation service workers in relation to clients from the target group. The thesis focuses on the socio-educational work of the probation officers, as well as social workers or other organizations for social prevention and their impact on the social stabilization of individuals, belonging to the target group.
