Der volle Inhalt der QuelleMy PhD research explores how Taiji quan can be applied as a valued tool to enhance the actor’s “creative self-awareness” and integrate it into the actor’s training. Taiji quan, a prominent practice in Chinese culture that fuses external exercise and internal technique, aims to coordinate and unify body and mind. Specially, I examine how the psychophysical technique of Taiji quan allows the actor to transfer his body-and-mind status to a higher level to increase his “scenic presence”, to maintain a “gap” between himself and his role to create universal emotions, and develop his perception with the outer world. In this way, I present how the actor elevates his consciousness to superior levels during the acting process and how the corporeal training of Taiji quan facilitates this transformation. The study aims to explore the diverse technique of Taiji quan in cultivating the actor’s consciousness through in-depth interviews, analysis of performances, the researcher’s practical experiences in theatre and Taiji quan, and experimental research with actors and theatre students. The study also endeavors to introduce this traditional practice into the domain of modern psychophysical acting, to develop a method that fuses Eastern and Western performance methodologies and enables actors to apply the technique to improve acting

How to be a student, the way to study and approaches as well as the variables that can affect the quality of learning have been studied for a considerable time. The way students conceptualise their learning, together with the study approaches specific to each profession could explain the learning style of individual students. It would be useful to investigate how students conceptualise their learning for university diplomas that lead to a degree as well as a professional qualification and normally require the undertaking of some research. We have explored the example of two health professions - medicine and midwifery. An interpretative comprehensive paradigm was used to understand the meaning given to the learning of research theory and practice by medical and midwifery students. Bearing in mind the meaning given by learners to their overall learning, to the more specific learning of research methodology as well as their perception of their learning environment, a typology of approaches has enabled the identification of various learning profiles for these students. The education to and by research does not occur at the same level in all learners. This study has found that the combination of an deep approach to learning, a positive perception of the study environment and an awareness of the usefulness of knowledge for its own sake all come into play and exercise an influence of their relation to learning. However, an appropriate teaching support also helps the learner better apprehend the meaning of learning and encourages reflection

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleTheme of the work: The attitude of schoolchildren towards law training in secondary schools. Systematic and consistent bestowal of juridical knowledge to schoolchildren strengthens their juridical consciousness. The existence of law in the society makes people do things which they would not do otherwise. Thus law training is very relevant in forming the consciousness of the society. It must be said that law training at school is one of the ways to prepare a person for life in the society. At school law training helps schoolchildren to gain knowledge and competence needed for using one’s rights and liberty in law system while defending one’s rights and meet one’s duties. The aim of the work is to reveal the attitude of schoolchildren towards law training. In order to achieve this aim such goals are raised: to analyze theoretical aspects of law training in secondary schools; to describe the selection of the methodology for studying of the attitude of schoolchildren towards law training in secondary schools; to research the attitude of schoolchildren towards law training. In the theoretical part of the work the concept of law and its social purpose is analyzed. The main elements of law – rights and duties – are also discussed. In addition to that theoretical aspects of education are discussed. The aim and goals of education are defined. Besides that education is linked to law as processes that determine the formation of the society. With reference to Education syllabus and... [to full text]

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe French educational system claims a digital transition. Using digital means is a good way for vocational training professionals to promote new pedagogical approaches. Vocational training suffers from a lack of means to offer new training situations. Thanks to technological improvements, Virtual Reality (VR) is now open to the public. It allows multiple relevant pedagogical simulations that are tailored to the professional world. This thesis is about designing and evaluating virtual environments (VE) in a vocational training context. The design of a training environment implies a high skill diversity for the designer to be usable in real conditions in schools. Like pedagogy for the targeted job or knowledge about students or teachers’ profiles. We expand in this manuscript several approaches that allow transcribing a real pedagogical situation into a relevant virtual scenario. For the developer, the complexity of the digitalization process relies on the need for the virtual situation to be suitable for both students and teachers. We propose a generic programming approach, allowing to quickly adapt the design process of a new virtual training scenario. For instance, we propose multi-support generic interactions or a virtual assistant to ease virtual interactions for the trainee. Additionally, students’ profiles need to be considered while designing the VR, especially regarding the choices of interactions by simplifying steps. Allowing the designer to remove didactic irrelevant parts for the benefit of more enlightening pedagogical actions. We expand in this thesis some exploitation approaches of VR in a real training context as well as evaluation techniques to assess students. Those discussions are supported by experimental results conducted in high schools to validate our technical and pedagogical approaches detailed in this manuscript

How can new students know what they are applying for when they want to become said officers. The purpose of this thesis was to examine the underlying expectation about the officer’s job within the Swedish merchant navy. Interviews where carried out on third year students at a maritime academy in Sweden regarding the view of the officer’s job acquired on-board a ship during internship and on-board training. The expectation was later compared to the image of that acquired onboard. The results were those that the officer’s job is not like any job on land and that one has to work on board a ship to acquire insight in how the officer’s job truly is.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleModelling the training effects on performance allow to better conceptualize athleteadaptations to training to help coaches faced with many uncertainties, as possiblealternatives to high level performance, overreaching, overtraining and injury. The dailytraining load (TL) quantification is then the first step of the training periodization. Ourlitterature review shows that these affects are non final statement of interactions betweenexogenous and endogenous factors (Banister et coll., 1975, Busso et coll., 1990, Morton et coll., 1990). The concept of TL involves an effect level resulting in the body in the form offunctional responses that have a certain intensity and a certain time. It involves followseveral perceptual markers daily. The advances made in the area of computer and communication technologies nowoffer new opportunities for designing an ergonomic computer system to collect, process, and visualize large amounts of data, but also provides an alternative modelling of thetraining effects. Inspired by the general mechanisms regulating homeostasis andchronobiology, we postulated that the performance capacity of each training day can bemodeled by a wave whose amplitude, after reaching a maximum, gradually decrease totend to return to its initial level during the following days (damped harmonic oscillation). Our results allow us to discuss the possibilities of such a system on an analysis ofthe coaches practices in terms of training load management at different times of the plan.Despite the small number of subjects (six players), they show that the use of the concept ofdamped harmonic oscillation model for the cumulative and delayed effects of trainingappears promising. But before applying it to a wide range of subjects and practices(rehabilitation, physical activity of older person), further investagtion is needed

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleAlzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common cause of dementia in the elderly. A cure has not yet been found, but studies show that the combination of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies (NPT) can slow down the progression of the symptoms of the disease. Among the NPT, active music therapy (AMT) has been widely used to help relieve the symptoms of dementia. However, most AMT require constant supervision or guidance so that the person with AD can participate in the therapy session and perform it correctly. The use of technologies specifically designed to meet the needs of this population could allow them to autonomously participate in AMT sessions. This master’s thesis is organized into two articles, the first is a literature review regarding the application of AMT in AD. The second article presents the co-design process of an oversized musical keyboard that can guide users with mild AD through AMT sessions that integrate musical, cognitive and motor tasks. Further studies should evaluate the effects of using this device on different symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. However, the results presented in the first article of the thesis and the observations from the interactions between the participants (with mild AD) and the prototypes provided during the co-design process indicate that the use of this keyboard has the potential to alleviate symptoms related to AD and, thus, improve the quality of life.

This article is about a study about the training needs for teachers of elementary school in the field of Geography. It is our objective to grasp their conceptions of training needs and reflect about their formative needs to teach geography. We consider the training as reflective process that involves the movement of changes and improvement beyond of formal learning, considering its numerous dimensions. We reflected about formative needs in light of the readings of Rodrigues Esteves (1993), Silva (2000), Roberts (2006), Vieira (2010). The discussions about conceptions were based on Ferreira (2007). However, we notice the teachers were able to develop senses and means to conceive the phenomenon in study, in a descriptive way, through articulated enunciations, including aspects and opportunities linked to their teaching practices and future formative prospects. Regarding School Geography, we based our studies in the reflections of Smith Junior (1994, 2000), Tonini (2003), Vesentini (2004) and Vlach (1991), among others. We verified that the needs evidenced by the teachers to teach geography were constructed from the contexts of their teaching practices present in their school and professional trajectories. Therefore, we noticed the need for formal pedagogical qualification so that we can conceive the phenomenon in study beyond its descriptive character, understanding that it is necessary to point out reflections and questions about the dynamics of production of global capital, which conveys its interests in the contexts that often emerge formative needs of the educational system

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleToday, an increasing number of industrial companies are embracing immersive technologies (IT). These innovative technologies are primarily used in professional training to enhance operator learning. Numerous academic and industrial studies have demonstrated the benefits of using these new methods, both in terms of learning quality and the deployment of new learning situations that were previously inaccessible. However, there still exists a notable lack of user-centric consideration in designing these new training tools, which limits their full potential. However, there is still a lack of consideration for users in the design of these new training materials, which limits their potential benefits. Stäubli, a global supplier of industrial and mechatronic solutions (electrical fittings, fluid fittings, robots, and textiles), has decided to address this issue in the context of a CIFRE thesis in partnership with the ERCOS unit of the ELLIADD laboratory (UR 4661).Incorporating user perspectives into the design of products, especially immersive training systems, is challenging due to its multidisciplinary and highly collaborative nature. Therefore, the objective of our research is to propose a methodological framework for collaborative user-centered design of immersive professional training (IPT).Our research makes several contributions. Firstly, we conducted (i) an analysis of training practices within the Stäubli company, coupled with (ii) a qualitative analysis of the barriers and opportunities associated with IT. Based on this and a review of the field, our second contribution is the proposal of an original model of the user-centered collaborative design process for IPT. This model was tested in various training project cases, including initial design, redesign, and remote scenarios, in diverse execution contexts (mandatory IT use, absence of training plans, tight time constraints, etc.). On one hand, the design process was validated by evaluating the outcomes, namely the developed applications. Their usability, acceptability, and pedagogical value were assessed using qualitative and quantitative approaches. On the other hand, the model's validation was done by comparing the prescribed process with real-world practices. Iterative improvements were proposed until a design process model for FPI was aligned with Stäubli's practices.A third contribution of our work involved analyzing collaboration phases, particularly convergence phases within the proposed process. We specifically studied the co-design phases of pedagogical scenarios using Intermediate Objects (IO) as an approach. Preliminary results from qualitative analyses of collaboration quality highlighted the importance of properly specifying these IDOs.Building on these results, our fourth and final contribution was to operationalize our model within the company's context. We translated it into a roadmap that contains essential elements for the seamless integration of our work into Stäubli's teams for future projects. Our roadmap was tested through a simulated trial involving three training needs scenarios presented to an internal panel within the company. The results from semi-structured interviews were positive, indicating an easy adoption of the roadmap

The e-learning revolution refers to recent advances in the educational field and the usage of digital tools for teaching and the delivery of educational content. The field of health can profit by adapting to this new reality and by adopting digital tools suitable to offer online training. From this perspective, this research project describes the process of developing an online adaptation of a psycho-educational program targeted to parents of children with autism disorder. This thesis is a monograph describing the steps required to design and implement this training program in an online version. By adopting the method of Educational Design Research, we investigate relevant theories and concepts that are later used to guide our practical contribution : the instructional design and implementation of a prototype, that is implemented and tested with the first users

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis thesis is part of a project to design a learning platform funded by STDI, a company specialized in the development of digital applications for teaching purposes. This project took place at the CERV (European Center for Virtual Reality) with the aim of relying on technologies related to virtual reality. In continuity with several works previously carried out at the CERV, our scientific approach has focused on introducing the analysis of human activity into a real training situation in the design loops of a collaborative training platform. This work of analysis was carried out in collaboration with the SDIS 56 in the framework of the practical training of chiefs in a fire brigade. This work was based on three research subjects, each of which raised specific scientific issues : studying the complexity of the decision-making activity of the operators in the situation of intervention ; the coordination of the crew in intervention ; and the activity of trainers in situations of risk training.By making methodological choices inspired by the naturalistic approach, our different levels of analysis have revealed several results. The individual analysis emphasizes the decision-making alternation between analysis of the situation and implementation of the intervention, as well as the importance of the anticipation and planning processes. The collective analysis reveals the articulation during the intervention of the individual sense-making activities according to the personal objectives and the spatial and functional configuration of the team. Finally, the analysis of the activity of trainers make it possible to specify their role as simulations managers and that of facilitators during the debriefings allowing a construction of knowledge a posteriori.Taking into account our different results, we have considered the global nature of the virtual training environment and developed some ideas for the improvement of existing teaching tools

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe purpose of this exploratory work, grounded on an emerging professional pedagogy of design, is to understand the impact of work-linked training in design on the learning of the design activity by students. To that end, the knowledge involved is extracted, juxtaposed with the representations that the requirement offers, and then set against the representations that students build of design activity as a social object as well as those involved in learning activities. Therefore, the theoretical field which is used is multidisciplinary. It induces a dialectical methodologic framework based both on a curricular analysis, necessary to understand the observed teaching situations, and on an analysis of the students’ activities. The outcomes shed light on these (sometimes conflicting) representations of creative design activity and of the designer’s profession. Outcomes also show the alternating times and places of learning situations reveal to the students the specificity of both designing situation. Thus, the “organizing environments” of the real curriculum and untaught within the required one, modify and regulate the system of interactions and the development of the students’ design skills. Moreover, the exchange device induces a timeline and “enabling” working and learning environments. Finally, the production of knowledge, required by the curriculum through the “research thesis”, allows the “apprentices-designers-researchers” to develop forms of expertise that question the interactions between knowledge to act and meta-knowledge to design and seems to redefine the representation of the design skill

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research work is based on the ex post analysis of the design of a training approach. It is targeted at agricultural advisors facing major changes in their job. The requirements induced by an economically and environmentally performing agriculture modify the job of advisor. The established practices of counselling are disrupted by the agronomy’s engagement to encourage the reduction of inputs. The objective is to design a theoretical frame, allowing to analyze the advisors’ counselling situations, supported by a methodology to back up the reflection and with interactions advisors / trainers. Professional didactic and sociology of action are summoned to appreciate the social situation of development and the training situation as means of training. In the relationships between knowledge for action, theoretical knowledge, the experimentation framework allowed to seize the feasibility of counselling, the access to the potential of the counselling activity and the coordination of the stakeholders to build the action. This leads to a coordinated learning approach with a framework creating along the way what the protagonists are seeking to do together; an approach opening the path to understanding the social component by professional learning; the job emergence

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe turbomachinery optimal design usually relies on some iterative methods with either experimental or numerical evaluations that can lead to high cost due to numerous manipulations and intensive usage of CPU. In order to limit the cost and shorten the development time, the present thesis work proposes to integrate a parameterization method and the meta-modelization method in an optimal design cycle of an axial low speed turbomachine. The parameterization, realized by the high order sensitivity study of Navier-Stokes equations, allows to construct a parameterized database that contains not only the evaluations results, but also the simple and cross derivatives of objectives as a function of parameters. Enriched information brought by the derivatives are utilized during the meta-model construction, particularly by the Co-Kriging method employed to couple several databases. Compared to classical methods that are without derivatives, the economic benefit of the proposed method lies in the use of less reference points. Provided the number of reference points is small, chances are a unique point presenting at one or several dimensions, which requires a hypothesis on the error distribution. For those dimensions, the Co-Kriging works like a Taylor extrapolation from the reference point making the most of its derivatives. This approach has been experimented on the construction of a meta-model for a conic hub fan. The methodology recalls the coupling of databases based on two fan geometries and two operating points. The precision of the meta-model allows to perform an optimization with help of NSGA-2, one of the optima selected reaches the maximum efficiency, and another covers a large operating range. The optimization results are eventually validated by further numerical simulations

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis thesis is part of the empirical and technological research program of the "course of action" (Theureau, 1992) in cognitive anthropology. She is studying the design, use and effects of a collective video-training device for undergraduate students in Physical Education to develop their ability to analyze and understand classroom situations in Physical Education. Two aims are pursued: a) an epistemic aim seeking to better understand the forms of activity and experience deployed by students in a video-training situation and b) a technological design aim of the "activity-oriented" video-training device and responding to a design in use process. The study was conducted with a group of students (n = 15) enrolled in a pre-professionalization course in the third year degree in Physical Education Teacher Education. Five types of data were collected during the device based on periods of internships and workshop at University: (i) video recording data of student's classroom activity during the internship and also during workshop, (ii) written records produced by students during internship and workshop, (iii) self-confrontation interview data on their activity in classroom and (iv) in their written records, and (v) quantitative and qualitative data from surveys. The results reveal (i) students' appropriation of a grid allowing them to analyze PE lesson and to analyze the key moments, (ii) a lived experience in video-training which reflects a reflexive inclination on pedagogical face-to-face moments in the PE lesson, (iii) four typical forms of classroom video analysis (describe, judge, interpret, project), evidence of teacher-centered observation activity in classroom as a manager, and a blindness to student motor learning activity; (iv) the role of peers as an accelerator of the ability to analyze class practices. These results relating to the activity of students in training made it possible to jointly consider the design of different phases of the system, finalized by a first online training platform "Former à l’intervention en EPS" (Roche & Gal-Petitfaux, 2014a), then a second "Observation e tRégul@tion en EPS" (Roche & Gal-Petitfaux, 2016)

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleAccording to projections by the World Health Organization (WHO), it is estimated that by 2050, more than 22% of the global population will be aged 60 years or older. This demographic shift is accompanied by a growing prevalence of chronic diseases. In France, one in four individuals currently suffers from a chronic condition, a proportion that rises to three out of four among those aged 65 and above. These diseases significantly contribute to mortality, accounting for 74% of total deaths in 2019. Fortunately, many of these conditions can be prevented or delayed by adhering to the physical activity recommendations provided by the WHO. Extensive research has demonstrated the profound impact of physical activity on prolonging lifespan and enhancing overall quality of life across populations. With this perspective in mind, the research objectives of this study lie within the realm of Prognosis Health Management (PHM) and prescription sports, with a specific emphasis on the healthcare trajectory of patients with chronic conditions. However, the precise methodology for control, particularly the feedback mechanism pertaining to individuals' behavior during physical activity, remains to be delineated. To tackle this challenge, the project proposes the implementation of a connected medical device, specifically an electric-assisted bicycle integrated with embedded artificial intelligence. This combination aims to collect data and contribute to the prevention of chronic pathologies for individuals. The primary scientific endeavor entails designing and integrating an innovative and adaptable hardware and software architecture, incorporating state-of-the-art sensors that utilize flexible technology. This framework facilitates the monitoring of both occasional and experienced cyclists during their practice, enabling intelligent control of the level of electrical assistance and the implementation of medical instructions based on prior medical assessments

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe dual aim of this thesis is to analyze the individual and collective activity of teachers, parents, pupil support workers and children when dealing with school assignments and to envisage the conditions for the transformation of this practice. This study draws on the "course-of-action" research program and involved a) using video recordings and self-confrontation sessions to analyze the activity of the participants in two case studies pertaining to school assignment situations; one case study was conducted in the classroom and during extracurricular activities the other in the classroom and at home; b) designing a training environment for teachers, parents and support workers based on video artifacts which were created using data collected at the outset; c) implementing this training environment by confronting the participants with the video artifacts and analyzing their activity. The results we examined refer to the empirical and the technological aspects of the research. As far as the empirical aspect is concerned, the results show that despite the spatial and temporal separation of the situations, collective dimensions to the school assignment activity could be identified relating to the circulation of the children and the technical devices. The latter acted as “interfaces” making it possible to articulate the activity of the adults. This has enabled us to demonstrate: a) the existence of a culture shared by teachers, parents and pupil support workers which partially explains the durability of the practice of school assignments; b) cultural elements specific to each category of actors; c) certain asymmetries given that the teacher’s activity has a much greater influence on the collective action than the activity of the other adults; d) difficulties experienced by parents and pupil support workers when supervising the children’s work; e) a strong influence of the technical devices on the dynamics of the collective action. In light of these observations, we consider that the situations contributed very little to enhancing the children’s learning potential. The technological aspect involved identifying the training environment’s potential for helping the actors to appropriate the collective dimensions of their activity and to envisage other situations which would be more conducive to learning. To do this, their activity was analyzed during a confrontation with the episode of the video artifact referring to a temporal and spatial setting that, in practice, they did not usually have access to. The results highlight cognitive processes indicating that the participants had become more aware of the collective dimensions of the activity. At the same time, it emerged that the training environment had a limited potential for inciting these same actors to imagine new actions. These results, analyzed in relation to the specificities of the artifacts, the use made of them and the culture of the actors have opened up new perspectives for the transformation of the training environment

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research aims to explore the professional development of short continuing education trainers working with social workers, and questions both the training activity and social work, in which the trainers have previously developed their expertise. The training and the social work are activities addressed to others, and they aim to transform the other, with a strong emphasis on relational aspects (Piot, 2007). Although it is important to make the culture of relationships predominant and to adopt a reflective practice (Piot, 2007; Hébrard, 2017; Tardif, 2018), the observation is that the proximity of short continuing education to the world of work, and the economic, political and societal issues related to social work, show utilitarian conceptions based on pragmatism, rationalization and technical expertise, which will prevent transformation. And yet, research, particularly with short training trainees, has shown that such training can be the driving force behind progressive transformations that affect the growth of adult life (Julien, 2009; Di Patrizio, 2017).What about trainers' practices? The aim of this research is to provide the beginnings of an answer. A qualitative study (Mucchielli, 2009) was carried out with twenty trainers from the Ecole des Parents et des Educateurs de Moselle, a training center specializing in short-term continuing education in the social field. Empirical data were collected and processed from a grounded theory perspective (Paillé, 1994), using semi-directive interviews based on a comprehensive approach (Kaufmann, 1996) and the explicitation of practice (Vermersch, 1994).This study uses the theories of learning (Vygotski, 1934), action (Dewey, 1916) and the person-centred approach (Rogers, 1961). It is supported by a conceptual framework that mobilizes the notions of professional development (Wittorski, 2007) training conception (Marton, 1983) and subjectivation. Indeed, the trainers' comments highlight the importance of relationships, reflexivity and the challenges of personal development. All the data contributed to approaching professional development through the prism of the subjectivation process, a process of both socialization and construction over time, referring in particular to the ability to be a subject and to act according to one's choices (Wieviorka, 2012), to have access to self-awareness and self-knowledge (Foucault, 1969) and to be in a position to learn (Bourgeois, 2018). Thus, through the discourses, exploring dimensions relating to knowledge, power, action, the self and the other, has enabled us to identify invariants such as agentivity, commitment, self-training, the transmission of knowledge, self-knowledge, recognition of the other, self-transformation, but also to identify four profiles of trainers whose activity possibly generates formative, or even, transformative moments. The study also suggests new perspectives, notably the complementarity between a short training activity and an accompaniment profession, this complementarity generating reflexivity and appropriation of experiential knowledge (Kolb, 1984; Argyris and Schön, 1989), a dynamic of self-training and a knowledge of self and recognition of the other

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis work of thesis concerns the conception and the experiment of a help tool for the transfer of knowledge taught for the vocational training in senior technicians' alternation. The studied training addresses students of a Two-year technical degree in Statistics and IT processing of data (DUT-STID). It takes place within a University Institute of Technology (IUT Lumière LYON 2) which has the peculiarity to work only in alternation, with a significant commitment of professionals throughout the training process. The duration of this training is of two years in a specific formula " 1 + 1 " where the learners are under students' status the first year and under the status of apprentice the second. To study the transfer of knowledge taught in company, we leaned on a theoretical framework based on the theory of the activity (Engeström, 1987; Tuomi-Grohn and Engeström, 2003). From the methodological point of view, we chose a progressive and collaborative approach. We first conducted from multiple data sources (documents; survey and interviews; archives of the tracks of activities of the apprentices in company stemming from notebooks of learning) an analysis of the educational organization seeking what could, within it, promote the linking of learning situations (apprenticeship) and the transfers of knowledge. The results of this analysis showed that the existing organization was not conductive to the transfers of knowledge taught in working situation as may be the case in many sandwich courses. Then, in close collaboration with the persons in charge of the training and the teachers knowing best the program and the missions of the apprentices in company, we developed, by basing ourselves on the concept of boundary-object, a new tool allowing to make links between types of tasks realized in company and types of knowledge taught at the IUT (UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY). This new tool was tested and experimented on several cases of students in apprenticeship in company during various periods. The aim was to vary the types of context and tutor profiles to test the ability of the tool to operate in different types of activity systems with different types of actors. On the basis of the studied cases, the tests and the experiments realized in real life situation revealed that our tool answered unmistakably a need and was warmly welcomed in particular by the apprenticeship masters, the apprentices and the academic tutors, the main beneficiaries of this boundary-object. In the cases studied, it allowed to enrich the entrusted mission, to further clarify the steps and resources needed for the apprentice’s work and to foster the exchange time on the knowledge and tools taught at UIT (UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY) that may be relevant to the achievement of the activities in a company. The experiment shows however, that its use is complex and based a lot on the ability of the academic tutors to clarify the functioning to the apprenticeship masters and to make use of the tool in situation. The last part of the thesis reports the work realized to integrate this support tool for the transfer into the educational organization of the training. Since September, 2012, it is officially part of the tools for monitoring and evaluation of the apprentices in working situation

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe quality and the risk management became, during the last decade, the main stakes within the initiatives of improvement of medical and paramedical practices.Education and teaching have to constitute the basement on which these various steps can build. In the field of health, the simulation stands out as one of the most successful tools contributing to the improvement of the practices. Our work concerns more particularly the very specialized area represented by cardiac surgery. We propose an educational tool based on the simulation from an in-vivo animal model. After a first stage to design the model and its relevance, two curriculum of training, one concerning basics and the other concerning continuing medical education, are proposed and assessed. To improve the quality and the risk management in France, a comparison with the initiatives already established abroad, in particular in Canada, is depicted. Finally, the School of the CEC comes to illustrate what could be, in France, an example of training curriculum for medical and paramedical professions in the field of the cardiac surgery

Authors like Mikhail, Bakhtin and scholars of reading area, like Frank Smith, Jean Foucambert, Josette Jolibert, and others, were fundamental for doing the data analyses. The findings reveal that the conception of reading of the schoolteachers exert great influence on concept formation of reading how a act pronunciation, instead bring the schoolchildren on a reading conception with assignment meaning and how cultural practice

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe theme of this research is to work with the discursive genre in grades of 6 to 9 years of elementary education in public schools in the State Network, from what is proposed in the State Curriculum Guidelines (PARANÁ, 2008). Interest in the subject is based on the concern that, in working with the language does not consider the genres, we incur the risk of focusing on the language just as form and structure, revealing another conception of language that departs from that advocated by this document curriculum that guides education in the State of Paraná. From this perspective, our purpose was to answer the following research questions: a) What is the understanding of the Professor of Portuguese Language (LP) in the state schools of Cascavel, in relation to the theoretical and methodological assumptions of State Curriculum Guidelines, at work with genres in the classroom? b) How does this understanding is transpiring in the teaching of discipline referrals? c) Continuous training supplied by the State after the publication of the State Curriculum Guidelines has favored the understanding of theoretical and methodological assumptions of this document? As a general objective we propose to check on going work with the genres in groups of 6 to 9 years of elementary school in Cascavel State public network, from what is proposed in the State Curriculum Guidelines and the training, after the implementation of the document, contributing in some way for that to happen. In order that the goal was met, it was necessary to elect a theoretical framework that were in accord with what is proposed by the DCE, to explore concepts such as dialogical conception of language, speech, discursive genres, utterance and text, which are presented by Bakhtin / Volochínov (2009 [1929]) and Bakhtin (2003 [1979]; 2010 [1929]; 2010 [1975]). Resorted also to other authors who share this theory: Brait (2003, 2005, 2012); Rodrigues (2005); Faraco (2009, 2011); Acosta-Pereira (2013); Costa Hübes (2014); among others. It is, therefore, a search that is included in the Applied Linguistics, given that he turned to the study of language in the educational field. As for the methodological perspective, this research enroll in a qualitative-interpretative approach, ethnographic, case study. The subjects were 4 teachers working in the final years of elementary school in two state schools in Cascavel, and the data was generated through interviews and classroom observation. As a result, we found that teachers facing as research subjects, even though not fully understanding the theoretical and methodological basis of the document and not getting enough subsidies through FC offered by the state, teach your classes around the content discursive genre with autonomy, exploiting it in accordance with their knowledge on the subject

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe reform of medical studies in France attributes an important role to simulation in healthcare professionals' training. In this context, virtual reality simulators can be very useful. However, the fidelity of these systems remains an open question with a lack of guidelines for determining their appropriate levels of fidelity to support effective training. In this thesis, we are interested in the fidelity of immersive simulators for the training of technical skills in surgery. More particularly, we investigate how the fidelity of interactions and artifacts to perform certain tasks in the simulator could affect the efficiency of these systems. From a theoretical perspective, we propose an articulation of the concepts of simulator fidelity through a model based on the various fidelity components identified in our literature review, and the various interfaces and interactions used in virtual simulators for the training of technical skills. Two experimental studies were conducted to explore the factors of simulator fidelity associated with a navigation task and a tool handling task and their impacts on the learning of two technical skills in virtual reality. The results show that the simulator's interaction techniques and artifacts with a moderate fidelity can support the completion of secondary tasks for effective training. The designers of virtual simulators can rely on the recommendations resulting from our work in order to avoid including certain devices and fidelity components, which can be cumbersome and expensive without a real impact on the efficiency of these simulators

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn the domain of training, new technologies have come and gone but have not provided real answers to the problems of online continuing training. And yet, with each introduction of a new technology, research is conducted into the learners, the theoretical aspects of course design and the characterization of the devices created. What is lacking seems to be an analysis of design in the field; such an analysis would make it possible to imagine positive developments and to implement research results in hands-on practice. In the era of MOOC and their use by companies, how are online continuing training courses designed ? In the specific context of the creation MOOC by an agency, we set out to describe the design of online training from two perspectives : that of the design activity and that of the experiences that the training brings about. For this research I had the advantage of being at the same time a PhD student and a salaried employee of an agency specialized in online training and was thus able to collect « scenes of life » as both participant and observer and these were used to establish a model of design, according to the Theory of Activity. For the study of the experiences, four MOOC projects of the agency served as case studies. After a presentation of the design choices specific to each project and the quantitative results obtained, the representations resulting from the experiences are analyzed based on the semi-directive interviews that we carried out. Finally, this work proposes a descriptive method of design and joint analysis of design and experiences. As part of the observed field, new perspectives related to the design of online training were raised concerning the mediation of knowledge, its strategic and evolutionary dimensions

This study explores the variety of understandings of literacy, or conceptions of literacy, that exist among graduate instructors in the fields of English literature, rhetoric and composition, and creative writing in their first semester of teaching and what the implications are for having these conceptions, particularly with regard to their teaching. I collected two kinds of data from seven participants who were enrolled in a fall 2010 composition practicum at a large, public university in the Northeast. The data I elicited included interviews of participants in which they examine their own writing, an assignment ranking activity, observations of participants as they teach composition, and field notes I collected from the Practicum course meetings. I also collected artifacts from their work in the Practicum course and their teaching, including two drafts of a literacy autobiography that they wrote for the practicum and marked-up student paper drafts from the composition course they were teaching. Following the work of Michael W. Smith and Dorothy Strickland, I parsed the data by content units. Using Peter Goggin's categories for defining literacy from Professing Literacy in Composition Studies, I coded data using the qualitative data management system Atlas.ti according to seven conceptions: literacy for personal growth, literacy for personal growth, social/critical literacy, critical activist literacy, cultural literacy, functionalist literacy, and instrumental literacy. My analysis of the data reveals that graduate instructors came to their first semester of teaching with powerful preconceptions about why people read, write, and engage in other literacy activities and that these positions deeply affected their teaching. I also contend that although all of the graduate instructors had complex, multifaceted conceptions of literacy, each graduate instructor had one primary conception, which acted as a kind of lens through which every other conception was viewed and filtered. This primary conception functioned as the graduate instructors' terministic screen for viewing literacy, even when other conceptions were at play. Finally, given the fact that all of the graduate instructors received the same syllabus for the composition course they were teaching, the extent to which each one of them was able to inscribe their own ideas about teaching and literacy onto the course was surprising and points to the power of these literacy orientations, even in the face of competing conceptions communicated to them in their practicum.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis thesis defends a model of entrepreneurship as a dynamic, global and systemic process, mediated by technologies. We present entrepreneurship as an activity in context, embodied in a culture, a story, an environment, and which develops itself through interactions. The moments of cooperation and coordination in localized teams, or multi-localized teams (Vacherand-Revel, 2017) constitute spaces of intersubjectivity (Zarifian 1996) in which different artefacts are used. We hypothesize that these artifacts in the activity will actively participate in the development of innovative entrepreneurial activity by providing support for team training, idea development, and design. Based on a qualitative and developmental methodological protocol, the analysis highlights several factors and resources of the activity, in particular the entrepreneurial training device, and the artefacts mobilized by the actors. These artifacts in the activity (Adé, 2000) are transformed into artifacts of the activity during instrumental genesis processes (Rabardel, 1995). They can then take a status of intermediate objects (Vinck, 1999, 2009) or boundary objects (Star, 2010, Vinck, 2009) within the activity. The analysis shows the predominant role of the innovation object, which is a common production of the team. It is both an outcome and a starting point for the development of intentions and the trajectory of the project. The innovation object arises from a process of design and creation (Almudever, 2012). This research shows the interdependence of the situations of cooperation and collective design in the formalization of the innovation object. The nature of the entrepreneurial project – an object built and under construction - highlights the interest of a dialogue between Activity theory and Action theories
