Der volle Inhalt der QuelleSeagrass meadows provide numerous ecosystem services and constitute a fundamental biological component for the sustainability of coastal environments. Over the past decades, the surface colonized by seagrasses has drastically declined globally, reducing their capacity to regulate hydrodynamic conditions and sediment fluxes. In this context, this work aims to better understand the response of hydro-sedimentary processes to the decline of intertidal seagrass in a shallow coastal lagoon. For this purpose, the Arcachon lagoon (France), extensively colonized by seagrass meadows (Zostera noltei and Zostera marina), was used as a study area. This analysis was conducted through a numerical modeling approach that required the preliminary development and implementation of a hydro-bio-sedimentary modeling platform, consisting of four coupled models (flow model, wave model, sediment transport model, and seagrass growth model), all accounting for the effect of vegetation. Specific attention was paid to the implementation of vegetation in the wave and sediment models, utilizing combined numerical, field, and laboratory experiments. The impact of seagrass decline was first studied on hydrodynamics, revealing significant changes in tidal hydrodynamics and the wave regime, especially an intensification in bottom current velocities by 100% and wave height by 50% on the tidal flats. Further investigation into the relative influence of seagrass decline and morphological evolutions of the inlet on tidal hydrodynamics showed that vegetation loss was the main factor influencing the modification of current velocities inside the lagoon. In response to the decline of Zostera spp. and the subsequent intensification of hydrodynamic conditions, this environment underwent significant changes in sediment dynamics. Modification of erosion and deposition fluxes resulted in suspended sediment concentrations 3 to 6 times higher in the areas where vegetation decreased the most. Seagrass decline also impacted sediment transport between the lagoon and the open ocean, as well as among different areas of the lagoon, leading to the redistribution of the different sediment classes and altering the composition of the seabed sediment. The tidal flats located along the coastlines accreted and became siltier, while those in the center of the lagoon eroded and became sandier. In particular, our results demonstrated that seagrass decline was the primary contributor to the observed bathymetric changes in the lagoon. Finally, potential evolutions of marine phanerogams were investigated, considering various consequences of climate change such as sea level rise and increase of temperature. For this analysis, special consideration was given to generating environmental forcing that reproduces potential temperature and water level conditions by 2050. Seagrass biomass exhibited contrasting responses to these processes, clearly dependent on multiple environmental factors (depth, hydrodynamic exposure, renewal time). We also showed that, beyond global warming, it is the increase in frequency and intensity of extreme temperature events that are expected to induce the most significant changes in seagrass biomass

This study examines the role of the Catholic Church in Montes Claros in the late twentieth century, a period marked by strong urbanization process, especially from the incentive fiscal through Sudene. It is understood that the possibility of living in the city and getting a job is a good attraction to those living in rural areas. For this stimulus, many moving to the city, almost always, to live in precarious conditions in the periphery, because it does not provide the basic conditions of social welfare. Those who come to inhabit this new space bring their experiences, especially with the practice of religion, that will be experienced in the context of urbanization. They seek a reorganization of everyday life through the bonds of affection with their neighbors in the community. Religion appears to be an important channel to lead the new residents of the city, visit the origin, for there on the periphery, retranslate codes of life, and reinvent their identity from their cultural roots. In this context, there is the displacement of the Catholic Church to the periphery. Movement hard for this religious institution, which will have to learn to speak the language of the common people, to understand the rituals of everyday life, and symbols of popular religion backlands experienced there. Our purpose was to try to understand as it was the decentralization of the Church in urban areas, the center to the periphery, therefore, this appears to involve a restructuring of the Church that made possible a new methodology to work in the city. We selected as time line, the last two decades of the past, understand that this period is happening most significant changes to the Catholic Church in Montes Claros
A presente pesquisa examina o papel da Igreja Católica, em Montes Claros no final do século XX, período marcado por forte processo de urbanização, sobretudo, a partir dos incentivos fiscais dados através da Sudene. Entende-se que a possibilidade de viver na cidade e conseguir um emprego é um bom atrativo àqueles que vivem no meio rural. Por tal estímulo, muitos se deslocam para a cidade, quase sempre, para viver em condições precárias na periferia, porque esta não oferece as condições básicas de bem estar social. Aqueles que passam a habitar esse novo espaço trazem as suas experiências, principalmente, com a prática da religiosidade, que, passará a ser vivenciada no contexto da urbanização. Buscam um reordenamento da vida cotidiana através dos laços de afetividade com os vizinhos na comunidade. A religião parece ser um importante canal, a conduzir os novos moradores da cidade, a visitarem as suas origens, para ali, na periferia, retraduzir os seus códigos de vida, e reinventar a sua identidade, a partir das suas bases culturais. Nesse contexto, dá-se o deslocamento da Igreja Católica para a periferia. Movimento nada fácil para esta instituição religiosa, que terá de aprender a falar a linguagem do povo simples, entender os ritos da vida cotidiana, e os símbolos da religiosidade popular sertaneja, ali experienciados. O nosso propósito foi de tentar entender como se deu a descentralização das ações da Igreja no meio urbano, do centro para a periferia, pois, esta parece ter exigido da Igreja uma reestruturação que possibilitasse uma nova metodologia para atuar na cidade. Elegemos como recorte temporal, as duas últimas décadas do século passado, por entender que, é neste período que acontecem as transformações mais significativas para a Igreja Católica em Montes Claros

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleJosep Claret Rubira (Girona, 1908-1988), architect of profession and artist-sketcher of vocation, obtained his university degree from the School of Architecture of Barcelona in 1933. From this year to the middle seventies, he projected an enormous amount of buildings of multiple typologies and numerous plans of urbanization throughout Girona and Menorca. His early political ideology was close to left wing, so he had to adapt to the pro-Franco regime to be able to continue working and living in Catalonia. Although it had probably been hard at the beginning, the connection process was easy (at least apparently), thanks to his relationship by marriage with a family who was closely linked to it. He is the author of works of high architectural level (being a few of them known and recognised) and a clear organiser of the landscape of his territory, an influential fact in the society that has been living there since then. His architecture is a magnificent example of what people from five decades liked. He is also the author of works that do not often fit in with what is considered correct, according to the History of Architecture, but reflect the taste, the preferences and the priorities of a certain society.

A Formação Rio Claro tem sua seção-tipo no Município de Rio Claro, capeia grandes interflúvios planos 50 a 60 m acima do Rio Corumbataí, entre as cotas de 580 a 670 m. A área de estudo abrangeu a Folha Rio Claro na escala 1: 50.000, onde a unidade ocupa cerca de 25% da folha. O estudo envolveu descrição e levantamento de seções colunares da unidade, definição do padrão estrutural, através do tratamento estatístico de 1.269 dados de lineamentos obtidos em fotografias aéreas, além de medidas de fraturas e falhas, tanto da Formação Rio Claro como da Formação Corumbataí, subjacente. A maior parte do sítio urbano de Rio Claro está assentada sobre a Formação Rio Claro, o que justificou um estudo mais detalhado sobre a unidade. Esta formação apresenta como características marcantes: fraca litificação e profunda alteração pedogenética, espesso solo arenoso e domínio de litotipos arenosos, esbranquiçados, amarelados a avermelhados, variando de areia fina a grossa, com intercalação de camadas de conglomerados e de sedimentos argilosos. A espessura máxima é da ordem de 40 m, predominando valores entre 25 e 30 m. A descoberta de novos fósseis vegetais, ainda inéditos na unidade, e mesmo em outras seqüências cenozóicas correlatas no Estado de São Paulo, amplia o conhecimento da tafoflora da unidade. A análise estrutural de falhas e de fraturas revela dois eventos tectônicos distintos: o primeiro, distensivo e o outro, transcorrente. Com base na tectônica, indica-se idade, no mínimo, miocênica, para a Formação Rio Claro. O conhecimento geológico-estrutural da Formação Rio Claro permitirá um melhor planejamento do uso do solo no Município de Rio Claro...
The Rio Claro Formation of Cenozoic age has its type section in the Municipio of Rio Claro, São Paulo, where it supports thick sandy soils on uplands well above the valley of the Corumbataí River. The formation was studied over an area of 600 km 2 , five sections were described in detail and structural studies were made of 1.269 lineaments and some of its outcrops. These studies were made because much of the city of Rio Claro is built on this formation. Characteristically, the Rio Claro Formation occurs on large flat interfluves 50 to 60 m above the Corumbataí River at elevations between 580 to 670 m, has a distinct disconformity at its base, and consists predominantly of fine to coarse sand with only a few thin beds of gravel and clay. Colors range from white to yellowish and redish at depth. Maximum thickness appears to be about 40 m, although thicknesses of 25 to 30 m are more typical. Fossils consist mostly of fragmental, poorly preserved plant remains, in clay lenses. Newly plants fossils described are very important to paleobotanical knowledge of this sedimentary unity. Structural analysis of faulted and fractured outcrops reveals two different tectonic events - the first was tensional and the second transcorrent. These are thought to indicate a pre Miocene age. The geological and structural knowledge on Rio Claro Formation will be enable to a better planning and management on soil employments in the Municipio of Rio Claro. So, more wells could be very helpful to a study foccused mainly on buildings, underground water and mining.

São aqui apresentados os resultados de pesquisa desenvolvida no Aqüífero Rio Claro, constituído pelos sedimentos cenozóicos da Formação Rio Claro, que recobre extensa área do município homônimo no estado de São Paulo. O objetivo central desta pesquisa é a caracterização hidrofaciológica do Aqüífero Rio Claro, no Município de Rio Claro, por meio da utilização de métodos geofísicos. Para tanto, foi aplicado o método geoelétrico da eletrorresistividade, utilizando as técnicas de sondagem elétrica vertical e imageamento elétrico 2D e 3D, em escala de município e de detalhe (Campus Bela Vista da Unesp de Rio Claro). Por meio de levantamento geofísico foi possível identificar e delimitar as litofácies que constituem o aqüífero, de maneira a estabelecer uma subdivisão das unidades geoelétricas. Com base nesta subdivisão, foram elaborados mapas de resistividade em escalas de município e de detalhe, com intuito de verificar a distribuição espacial das eletrofácies presentes no Aqüífero Rio Claro, na zona saturada. Foram elaborados ainda mapas de isoespessuras do Aqüífero Rio Claro e de cota do topo da Formação Corumbataí. Os dados obtidos com as SEVs passaram por tratamento geoestatístico, que possibilitou o aprofundamento de análises interpretativas quanto aos modelos de distribuição e correlações. A partir de dados extraídos de poços de monitoramento, foram definidas as propriedades hidráulicas do aqüífero, por meio de testes de Slug, análise granulométrica e testes de produção; condutividade hidráulica na zona não-saturada foi obtida por meio do método Guelph. Os dados geofísicos revelam que a eletrofácies arenosa da Formação Rio Claro abrange grande parte da área; a silto-arenosa e a silto-argilosa estão distribuídas aleatoriamente, e que existe ampla variação na espessura da Formação Rio Claro, caracterizando um substrato bastante irregular.

The main objective of this research is hydrofacies characterization of the Rio Claro Aquifer, using geophysical methods. Electrical resistivity method was applied using vertical electric sounding (VES) and 2D and 3D imaging techniques, in municipal scale and detail scale (Campus of Unesp). Using geophysical survey was possible to identify and to delimit lithofacies that constitute the aquifer, in order to establish a subdivision of the geoelectrics units. This subdivision was used to construct maps of resistivity in detail and municipal scales, aiming to verify the spatial distribution of the electrofacies in saturated zone of the Rio Claro Aquifer. Maps of iso-thicknesses of the Rio Claro Aquifer and of the elevation of the top of the Corumbataí Formation were made. The VES data underwent geoestatistical analysis that made possible a carefull study of interpretative analysis and statistical correlations. Using data extracted from the monitoring wells, the hydraulic properties of the aquifer were obtained, through slug tests, granulometric analysis and production tests; hydraulic conductivity in non-saturated zone was determined using Guelph permeameter. The geophysical data show that arenaceous electrofacies of the Rio Claro Formation covers large part of the area; the siltarenaceous and silt-argillaceous electrofacies have random distribution, and there is a broad variation in the thickness of the Rio Claro Formation, characterizing an irregular substratum.

Using data extracted from the monitoring wells, the hydraulic properties of the aquifer were obtained, through slug tests, granulometric analysis and production tests; hydraulic conductivity in non-saturated zone was determined using Guelph permeameter. The geophysical data show that arenaceous electrofacies of the Rio Claro Formation covers large part of the area; the siltarenaceous and silt-argillaceous electrofacies have random distribution, and there is a broad variation in the thickness of the Rio Claro Formation, characterizing an irregular substratum.

This research presents reflections on the investigation and construction of one poetic in engraving based on the characteristics and potential of the leather as a alternative material. Linked to line search Poetics Visuals and Process of creation has as its theme, Impressions: one look poetic about Montes Claros. It consist research of bibliographic on the subject, field research, the technique - engravings on matrix of leather - analysis and display of works produced. The study also proposes reflections on the cultural identity of the city of Montes Claros - MG from their visualities, searching to understand, how the language of the engraving, a poetic construction through the leather can to represent the city and also to what extent these same elements have the power to invent, build, confirm, alter and or sustain this identity.
Esta pesquisa apresenta reflexões sobre a investigação e a construção de uma poética em gravura baseada nas características e potencialidades do couro como material e suporte alternativo. Vinculada à linha de pesquisa, Poéticas Visuais e Processos de Criação, tem como tema Impressões: um olhar poético sobre Montes Claros. Constitui-se de pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema, pesquisa de campo, execução da técnica – gravuras em matriz de couro - análise e exposição das obras produzidas. O estudo propõe ainda, reflexões sobre a identidade cultural da cidade de Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, a partir de suas visualidades, buscando compreender de que forma a linguagem da gravura, uma poética construída através do couro, poderá representá-la e ainda, em que medida esses mesmos elementos detêm o poder de inventar, construir, confirmar, alterar e ou sustentar essa identidade.
