Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe major aim of the present work was to contribute with the studies of Cartography of Tourism, by selecting the city of Limeira, located at São Paulo State, as the object of investigation. The choice of the area for this study took into consideration that Limeira City represents the process of occupation of the medium cities of São Paulo from the economical and urban expansion, which occurred historically during the economic cycles that took place in Brazil. For this, it was done a complete review concerning the touristic use of the material heritage from the geographic critical point of view, exemplifying cases in Brazil, as well as over the world, by investigating the potential value of the material heritage of Limeira City. To elaborate the thematic maps, it was carried out a review in the methodology of the Cartography of Tourism, considering that the maps are created to help tourists. In this context, the maps should accomplish the rules of legibility, by providing an accurate use of scale, symbols and legend, which should communicate precisely and quickly the information. The cultural material heritage of Limeira City has been inserted recently in the public policies by the Master Territorial and Environmental Plan of 2009, when the historical buildings from this city were listed and protected. Therefore, in the present study these buildings were classified in the following categories: rural, educational, religious and cultural, by means of thematic charts elaborated using GIS software ArcGis 9.3. In conclusion, the elaborated maps may contribute to give the appropriate value to the local historic heritage, by inducing programs to improve the cultural tourism and heritage education.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleWith the objective to \"propose a methodology of electronic atlas to the architectural heritage of Lapa (PR), based on a methodological theoretical reflection on how Geography, specifically Human Geography associated with Cartography and Geotechnologies, it can promote the understanding of tourism and cultural heritage management\" the present study was elaborated, presented as a doctoral thesis in Human Geography at the Graduate Program in Geography of the University of São Paulo. From studies and surveys made, it was noticed that there are few discussions about of theories of tourism and cultural heritage in the geographical perspective, besides of rare approaches regarding atlas produced for equity harvest. The perception of the presence of an architectural heritage in the city of Lapa, the seventeenth-century origins, which constitutes the largest urban historic site tumbled of Paraná and needs of a regional and national tourist projection, it was determinant instrumental in the establishment of the research corpus. Allied to this need, add yourself also the finding of virtually no geographic and cartographic materials related to the historic site. It is understood that the understanding of local cultural heritage necessarily involves knowledge of geographical theory and the prototype of an electronic atlas becomes essential for the representation of architectural styles and for its wide dissemination. The development of a prototype electronic atlas for urban historic site of Lapa is an option to understand the construction and dynamics of geographical and historical space. The use of Geotechnology for processing the data proved its applicability for the development of current atlas, which require the use of digital thematic maps, storage and delivery of large numbers of images, hypertext, sounds and videos. The context of contemporary society, which uses the most varied information resources, we present a new cartography of Tourism, which uses the electronic form of an atlas for knowledge of cultural heritage, adapted to the reality of tourists who seek to know and explore sights expression. Tourism has become not only the pursuit of leisure, but a social activity that requires materials for queries and, consequently, an adaptation technologies with approaches to electronic atlas. Thus, the mapping of Tourism serves as support information on geographical, cultural and social data, where tourists can consult the site to be visited, with the difference of using an electronic atlas. The result of the research was the preparation of maps of the Urban Historic Site of Lapa, which contains topics on cultural heritage material, the typology of tourism, gastronomic tours, religious, service, and especially tourism. Photographs contained in this past and current work, plans and videos of the main houses, general videos of the historic site and a map of the relief in hypsometric colors. Thus, we attempted to present a new methodology for preparing atlas felled areas, that certainly will collaborate with the geographical, heritage and tourism studies, mainly for its avant-garde character, and may be adopted in other cities that similar to the case of Lapa.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleAt the beginning of our research in 2010, there was great interest in the advent of the digital era and its impact in the field of cultural heritage. In light of this and the increasingly numerous debates about it, we wondered what “digital phenomena” adds to (or detracts from) the cultural heritage experience. The change of support does not necessarily (rarely even) changes heritage mediation practices, therefore, for the purposes of this research, the term digital refers not to digital technology but the concept of “digital” as a social phenomenon with everything that this implies through speeches, imagination, practices and expectations. To move beyond the discussions about technology, we have chosen to study a limited number of fields (the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and the Mont-Royal in Montreal) and opt for a socio-semiotic approach. This thesis shows that a same device, the interactive map, can offer multiple possibilities for cultural mediation, between documentary mediation and cultural mediation. It also calls into question a possible reconfiguration of the roles of mediator and visitor in the digital forum: far from upsetting the function and identity of heritage institutions, digital devices implemented in these two fields strengthen their legitimacy as cultural mediators
