Online Learning requires teachers to think creatively and innovatively to attract students. Learning media becomes the main factor in helping teachers make it happen. This study aims to find out the perception of English teachers in the use of canva application as a virtual learning media creation in Loei Thailand.This research applies mixed method design that starts with collecting quantitative data. After analyzing quantitative data, qualitative data is then collected and analyzed. 20 teachers were asked to fill out a questionnaire to find out their perspective on the use of Canva. This research has proven that canva application can be used to create learning media. The result in this research was the function and benefit of canva divided into two, namely as sumplemen and subtitusi. The supplement function of canva is (1) Canva fasilitated teacher to make learning media, (2) Canva Application Improve online teaching process. The substitution function of canva is (1) Canva Application Improves learning media effectively, (2) Learning media of Canva is easy to distribute to students (3) Canva application can help the technology requirement. That is, the function of Canva obtained in this study.

This study aims to investigate students’ perception of using canva in writing class. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach and the research adapted questionnaire and also an interview to collect the data with ten students’ at Senior High School Bingin Teluk. The results of this study indicate that the use of Canva in the writing class has a positive impact on the participants. The positive impact is that Canva can increase students' motivation in writing classes, Canva can improve students' abilities in writing classes and Canva can also help students in writing classes. not only the positive impact that students have, but also obstacles in using Canva such as students having to have more time to design programs using Canva, and Canva has a premium account that we should pay for and there are some pictures which will appear and be provided without watermark.

Abstrak Kemudahan mendesain saat ini ditawarkan oleh platform desain melalui website maupun aplikasi. Canva merupakan salah satu best platform yang digunakan untuk mendesain. Canva dapat dengan digunakan melalui website dan aplikasi mobile. Canva didesain dengan kelengkapan fitur dan template yang memudahkan seseorang mendesain seperti mendesain poster, kartu ucapan, brosur, infografis hingga presentasi dalam waktu yang singkat. Hal tersebutlah yang membuat Canva digunakan pula oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui usability dari aplikasi Canva dengan tujuan mengetahui pengalaman pengguna dalam hal ini mahasiswa terhadap aplikasi tersebut karena ditemukan ketidakpuasan pada saat menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Metode kualitatif-kuantitatif digunakan untuk mendiskripsikan secara detail hasil wawancara langsung dan hasil angket yang diberikan. Analisa aplikasi menggunakan poin Usability yakni berkaitan dengan learnability, efficiency, memorability, error dan satisfaction untuk mengetahui pengalaman pengguna dan dipadukan dengan metode Important Performance Analysis (IPA). Dari analisa yang dilakukan pada aplikasi Canva diketahui bahwa untuk meningkatkan usability, kemudahan aksesibilitas serta kepuasan pengguna ketika menemukan error dan memperbaiki error harus diperbaiki. Selain itu, aplikasi Canva perlu memperbaiki alur dan akurasi waktu saat penggunaan aplikasi. Poin usability yang perlu dipertahankan adalah kemudahan saat mengenali simbol-simbol, dan sistem serta efisiensi navigasi. Kata Kunci: aplikasi, Canva, desain, usability, user experience AbstractThe convenience of design also offered a design platform through a website or application. Canva is one of the best platforms used to design. Canva can be used through the website and mobile application. Canva was designed with the features and templates that can help someone make the design like a poster design, a greeting, brochures, infographic until a presentation in a limited time. Those things made Canva also used by university students. This study was conducted to appraise the usability to learn user experiences, in this case, are students toward the application because dissatisfaction found when Canva application used. The mixed-method is used to describe the detailed result of direct interviews and surveys. The analysis used the usability point associate with learnability, efficiency, memorability, error, and satisfaction to understanding the user experience combined with Important Performance Analysis (IPA). From the analysis that has been done, to increase usability, ease accessibility, and user satisfaction when a user found error and fix error must be repaired. Furthermore, the Canva application needs to correct user flow and time accuracy when using the application. Moreover, Usability points that need to maintain are convenience when recognizing symbols, system, and navigation efficiency. Keywords: Application, Canva, Design, Usability, User Experience

This community service aims to provide training program for undergraduate students in sports education department about using google forms and canva as learning media. Google Form is for use in conducting or planning survey, or assessing and collecting other information, while Canva is for providing knowledge in making presentations, posters or logos for the alternative of selecting learning media that can be used for free through Canva. Based on observations, it was found that students in the sports education department had low knowledge and skills in making google forms and canva. The methods used in this training are presentations (lectures) and direct practice methods in the use of google forms and canva. The number of participants as many as 80 students of the class of 2019 came from the sports education department at Megarezky University. The results of this training program increase the knowledge and skills of sports students in making google forms and canva that can be used as learning media.AbstrakPengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada para mahasiswa pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga tentang penggunaan google form dan canva sebagai media pembelajaran. Google Form digunakan dalam melakukan atau merencanakan survei, atau penilaian dan mengumpulkan informasi lainnya, sedangkan canva adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dalam membuat presentasi, poster atau logo untuk kepentingan pemilihan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan secara gratis melalui canva. Berdasarkan hasil observasi ditemukan bahwa mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang rendah dalam membuat google form dan canva. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode persentasi (ceramah) dan praktek langsung dalam penggunaan google form dan canva. Jumlah peserta yaitu sebanyak 80 orang mahasiswa angkatan 2019 berasal dari program studi Pendidikan Jasmani Universitas Megarezky. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa olahraga dalam membuat goole form dan canva yang dapat digunakan media pembelajaran.

Canva merupakan aplikasi yang menyediakan pilihan template, membuat logo, poster ,desain,kemasan, dan fitur-fitur yang ada didalamnya. Dengan aplikasi Canva ini guru bisa mendesain proses pembelajaran agar tidak membosankan sehingga media ini dapat dimanfaatkan dalam kehidupan. Dengan aplikasi Canva guru pun lebih mudah dalam membuat bahan ajar untuk siswanya semenarik mungkin. Cara untuk membuat video pembelajaran yang mudah dan menarik adalah dengan menggunakan aplikasi yang menawarkan template-template dalam menggunakan pembelajaran dalam bentuk aplikasi Canva ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode diskusi antara guru dengan peserta didik untuk mencari metode pembelajaran seperti apa yang disukai siswa untuk menjalankan proses pembelajaran nantinya. This research discovers students’ and lecturers’ voice on using Canva in English language teaching. This research employed quantitative descriptive method with 31 English Foreign Language (EFL) students and 5 lecturers. The data are gained from 31 students and 5 lecturers of English Department at IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua. The students’ and lecturers are given a set of questionnaires to obtain their response on using Canva. After gaining the data, the researcher analysed the students’ and lecturers’ response by counting its frequency and percentage. The findings of this research Indicated that the majority of students and lecturers have positive voice on using Canva in English language teaching based on three indicators that is provided by researcher, those are: usefulness, ease to use, and easy access. This research revealed that Canva is usefulness tool for English language teaching. Canva is also ease of use tool for English language teaching which easy to use, effective, improve teaching and learning process, and easy to distribute. At the end, Canva has easy access because Canva provides everything for teaching and learning process such as video, images, colourful. Besides, Canva becomes an interesting App, and good choice for learning and teaching process.

Pengusaha Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) perlu memiliki kemampuan kreativitas dan pengetahuan penguasaan teknologi agar dapat mempromosikan produknya dengan menarik dan meluas. Melalui PKM ini, tim pengabdi akan memberikan wawasan dan pengalaman kepada pelaku UMKM Sawargi tentang pemanfaatan teknologi sederhana dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan gambaran praktis penggunaan aplikasi Canva, serta memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi Canva dalam pemasaran produk UMKM Makanan Khas Daerah Ciamis. Penguasaan teknologi dalam pemasaran produk penting untuk dimiliki oleh pelaku UMKM agar tampilan desain produk menarik dan promosi produk dapat tersebar luas. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini bersifat persuasif-edukatif, yang dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan menggunakan aplikasi Canva dalam mendesain produk. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dibagi kedalam beberapa tahapan diantaranya: (1) tahap penjelasan penggunaan aplikasi Canva; (2) tahap praktik penggunaan aplikasi Canva; (3) tahap pendampingan pembuatan desain promosi produk; dan (4) tahap diseminasi desain promosi produk melalui media sosial. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah (1) kreativitas pelaku UMKM dalam mempromosikan produknya berkembang dengan baik dengan mampu membuat desain promosi produk yang menarik; dan (2) penguasaan teknologi pelaku UMKM berkembang dengan baik dengan mampu menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Frente a la problemática actual que presentan los estudiantes de secundaria en cuanto a la producción de textos discontinuos, situación que se ha visto agravada durante la educación remota debido a la pandemia por Covid-19. En este contexto, se llevará a cabo una investigación con el objetivo de diseñar una estrategia para mejorar la producción de textos discontinuos a través de la herramienta digital Canva en estudiantes de quinto grado de secundaria de la Institución Educativa San Francisco de Lagunas. Para ello, se utilizará el diseño de investigación descriptivo y propositivo bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, aplicando la técnica de observación y como instrumento una guía de observación, en una muestra de 51 estudiantes, seleccionada mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Como resultado se espera lograr medir el nivel actual de la producción de textos discontinuos en la población de estudiantes mencionada e identificar los factores que inciden en su desarrollo, para luego diseñar una propuesta didáctica pertinente que permita mejorar dicha competencia. En tal sentido, la investigación presenta un alto impacto educativo; ya que, desarrollará y mejorará el nivel de producción de textos discontinuos a partir de una estrategia innovadora, ya que se implementará las TIC, es decir la herramienta digital Canva como medio para potenciar su competencia de escritura, lo cual incidirá favorablemente en el desempeño académico, personal y social de los estudiantes.

Canvia is a Peruvian company owned by Advent International, which is one of the five largest private equity investment funds in the world. Canvia provides digital transformation services to clients to achieve the concrete business results, operating the following four business units: (a) service desk, (b) digital service, (c) business operation, and (d) cloud. The service desk unit is currently earning a low rate of margin. The main problem identified is a contract of service negotiated with Tiendas por Departamento Ripley, a Chilean retail company; and Banco Ripley Peru, a Chilean bank. According to the terms of this contract, Canvia provides their service desk services to both companies in Peru, by which the company receives a flat fee, independently of the number of tickets Canvia team resolves. This results in a constant revenue stream for Canvia and the increasing costs they have faced, resulted in financial losses to the company. However, at the moment, they are generating profits because of some changes introduced by the new Senior Manager. In this sense, the service desk unit, in particular Ripley’s account, is interested in look for any solution that generate a steady 20% profit margin. After reviewing the relevant literature, we have developed three alternatives of solutions, which are composed by several activities, which have been evaluated according to factors such as costs, innovation, risk, value added, feasibility and Canvia’s feedback. Our proposed solutions are a mix of these activities, which try to reduce costs but also increase Service Desk Unit’s flat revenues. The solutions are the implementation of a training website and the provision of training services to Ripley’s employees who manipulate embosadoras. However, since the success of these alternatives does not depend only on Canvia, it is concluded that the generation of a steady 20% profit margin for the Ripley account will not be possible if Canvia does not remain contracted by Ripley to provide additional services.
Canvia es una compañía peruana parte de Advent International, uno de los cinco fondos de inversión de capital privado más grandes del mundo. Canvia proporciona servicios de transformación digital a sus clientes para lograr resultados comerciales concretos, operando las siguientes cuatro unidades comerciales: (a) service desk, (b) servicio digital, (c) operación comercial y (d) cloud. La unidad de service desk está afrontando un bajo desempeño financiero. El principal problema identificado es el contrato de servicio negociado con Tiendas por Departamento Ripley, una empresa minorista chilena; y Banco Ripley Peru, un banco chileno. De acuerdo con los términos de este contrato, Canvia brinda sus servicios de service desk a ambas compañías, a cambio de una tarifa fija que no incrementa a pesar de que el número de tickets por resolver siga aumentando. Esto resulta en un flujo constante de ingresos para Canvia y un aumento significativo de costos, lo cual causó que la compañía llegue a tener pérdidas financieras. Sin embargo, actualmente están generando ganancias por algunos cambios realizados por el nuevo Gerente de Proyecto. Après un bref rappel historique des cannes et dérivées, nous les avons classées selon le mode de préhension, ce qui nous en a fait décrire trois grands types (manuelle, anti-brachiale, axillaire). Les marches standard avec cannes conduisent à définir les indications générales qui sont parfois plus spécifiques de chaque type de cannes. Les plus utilisées en rééducation sont les cannes-béquilles, tandis que les cannes simples sont plus une aide à l' équilibre. Il est important d' adapter chaque canne à chaque patient. En effet, des cannes trop hautes ou trop courtes sont dangereuses, génératrices de mauvaises attitudes, voire inefficaces. En dehors des indications classiques que sont la rhumatologie, la neurologie, l' orthopédie, il faut la conseiller aux gens âgés dans le but de soutien, d' aide à la marche. Il revient au médecin d' enrayer le refus psychologique du port de la canne que l' on observe souvent chez ces patients. La canne est une aide médicale à la marche, qui nécessite une rigueur de prescription comme toute autre thérapeutique.

However, the majority of Australian artists are untrained in creating profitable business models from their art practice. In order for artists to identify potential opportunities they must rethink their current business strategies and resultant business model. Em estudos acadêmicos, como os Estudos da Tradução, por exemplo, a pesquisa é feita para preencher uma lacuna, entretanto os pesquisadores apresentam dificuldades em como conduzir o projeto de pesquisa, qual a metodologia a ser usada para sustentar a pesquisa. A famosa máxima ?Um problema bem colocado é resolvido pela metade?, no ver da pesquisa científica, não deixa de ser verdade; mas faz-se necessária uma formulação do problema, de modo que irá clarear o objetivo do projeto de pesquisa. (KRUGER; WALLMARCH, 1997, p. 120). Esta dissertação tem como objetivo fazer uma análise descritivo-comparativa do humor shakespeariano em duas traduções brasileiras da cena dos coveiros da peça A Tragédia de Hamlet: Príncipe da Dinamarca, de William Shakespeare (2005). Entende-se por humor os recursos textuais e discursivos passíveis de gerar o riso presentes no original e como estes elementos foram transpostos nas traduções da referida cena na peça shakespeariana por Millôr Fernandes e Carlos Alberto Nunes, esta publicada em 1983 e aquela em 1955, porém será a usada a reimpressão de 2011 de ambas. Inicialmente, pretende-se introduzir a questão da tradução do humor em Shakespeare, com base em estudos de Dirk Delabastita (1996) e Stanislaw Baranckzak (1992), e depois analisar a cena dos coveiros pelo modelo descritivo proposto por José Lambert & Hendrik Van Gorp (2011). Junto com o modelo descritivo, unimos a Teoria Geral do Humor Verbal de Salvatore Attardo (2002) e os procedimentos técnicos de Jean Paul Vainay & Jean Darbelnet (in VENUTI, 2004), como teorias voltadas ao processo tradutório com seus mecanismos de funcionamento. Como resultado final, pôde-se notar que ambos os tradutores souberam transpor a comicidade no texto shakespeariano, mantendo o tom ambíguo, irônico e sarcástico que o humor sugere.

Die Messung möglicher Effekte des Wissens-und Technologietransfers (WTT) als Teil der Dritten Mission hat eine hohe Relevanz, wenngleich nicht alles über reine Kennzahlen erfasst werden kann. Daher hat die Taskforce Wirkungsmessung des Innovation Hub 13 das WTT Impact Canvas erarbeitet und als Vorlage für Interessierte bereitgestellt. Die Idee zum WTT Impact Canvas beruht hierbei auf dem Business Model Canvas von Osterwalder und Pigneur sowie dem Theory of Change Toolkit. Ähnlich zu diesen beiden Modellen bildet das WTT Impact Canvas wichtige Aspekte von Transferaktivitäten klar strukturiert und kompakt ab. Es hilft Beteiligten durch die Visualisierung dabei, über das Geplante und Erreichte zu reflektieren, die Aktivitäten zu beschreiben und den Mehrwert für andere darzustellen sowie nach außen zu kommunizieren. Das vorliegende Whitepaper zum WTT Impact Canvas beschreibt zunächst die Problematik der Erfassung von Transferaktivitäten und deren Wirkung. Im Anschluss wird das Canvas selbst vorgestellt sowie die einzelnen Felder beschrieben. Darüber hinaus zeichnen wir die unterschiedlichen Entwicklungsschritte des Canvas nach und zeigen anhand von Beispielen den möglichen Nutzen des Canvas für Transferakteure auf. Ziel ist mittel- bis langfristig, das Canvas auch für die Wirkungsmessung von WTT Aktivitäten außerhalb des Innovation Hub 13 bereitzustellen und nutzbar zu machen.
