Graphic design is an art with a specific purpose; it is a process of describing a business or product with art. In this process, color, graphics and text play a very important role. They are like three actors to undertake the projects, how to coordinate the relationship among them, to balance the roles, the designers should think in detail, should pursue. Anyway they have a long way to go on the road of graphic design. Design is planning on purpose, graphic design is one of the forms planned to be taken ,in the graphic design you should use visual elements to spread your ideas and plans , use color, text and image to spread the information to the audience so that people, through these visual elements, can understand your ideas and plans. Emphasis on the application of visual elements in graphic design, the combination of visual elements and design ideas, and these two methods will achieve the perfection of ideas to attract the viewer's eye, and to announce the achievement of broad objectives.

Abstract Parking shortages are a regular occurrence in the urban Central Business District (CBD). In most Indian cities, the demand for parking outnumbers the supply. Managing parking demand is a critical aspect of transportation planning, particularly in metropolitan areas. Due to a shortage of off-street parking options in the CBD, tourists are compelled to park on the street, causing unnecessary congestion. The goals of this paper are to review existing research, identify key parameters, and provide models for forecasting on-street parking demand. To predict on-street parking demand in metropolitan CBDs with public transit (PT) service, a cost parameter (CF) model is developed. Some surveys, such as in-out surveys, license plate surveys, questionnaire surveys, video graphic survey methods, and so on, are likely to be utilized to collect data for the suggested model.

Purpose – Using the numerical situation analysis (NSA) technique in the development of corporate strategy provides senior managers with a suitable methodology for the creation of alternative strategic options. Subsequently, it may be used to evaluate those options for possible selection and implementation by the company concerned. In addition, the technique provides a graphic temporal point description of an organisation's strategic situation. Consequently, the aim of this paper is to outline the technique of NSA via a hypothetical example and thereby illustrate its use in practice. Design/methodology/approach – By using a paradigm approach, the paper indicates the correct application of the NSA technique as a means of defining and evaluating alternative strategic options within a manufacturing company. As proposed, the methodology also permits several graphic illustrations of the strategic situation to be drawn, along with a scheme for monitoring the effectiveness of an adopted strategy. Findings – The evolution of the suggested NSA technique and its application to the formulation of strategic options for a manufacturing company are outlined in the paper. In practice, its application in four differing industries has resulted in some caveats regarding its use, and to some provisional conclusions being drawn in respect of its usefulness to senior management. These are recorded in the concluding section of the paper. Research limitations/implications – The design, development and application of NSA proposed in this paper together with the experience of its implementation and use, in practice, highlight a potentially useful extension to existing methods of strategy formulation. The methodology offers senior management a technique, whereby alternative strategic options may be defined and evaluated for possible adoption along with diagrammatic illustrations of an organisation's strategic situation. In addition, the approach allows a selected strategy to be monitored over time for effectiveness, thus providing an early warning mechanism in respect of strategic inutility. Originality/value – The paper contributes to the existing knowledge based on strategy development, evaluation and selection. It also provides a mechanism for monitoring a selected strategy for effectiveness over time and a structured framework for senior management to undertake the strategic planning process. It may when used in practice achieve an improved level of strategic understanding on the part of senior management and thereby stimulate improved corporate performance.

Introduction. Today’s increased competition and deepening process of globalization have raised the issue of information provision of managers at all levels of management, particularly accurate and timely information on financial and economic performance of enterprises. For making effective managerial decisions, managers do not only need financial information, but also non-financial information that is found in managerial accounting reports. Therefore, this is an up-to-date issue, which should be further considered. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to examine types of the reporting format of managerial accounting in foreign and national economic studies and to concentrate on managerial accounting reporting by main business processes in trading enterprises. Methods. The methods used for exploring issues relevant to preparing managerial accounting reports are based on general and specific approaches to examining economic processes, phenomena and facts, particularly those that are relative to budgetary performance of purchasing departments, transportation, storing an selling in trading enterprises. The key methods applied include the following: the monographic and graphic methods; the method of grouping and comparison of indicators; analysis of the dynamics and structure of expenses; modeling and budgeting of expenses of main processes in trading enterprises; planning steps for improving managerial reporting. Results. Budgetary performance plays an important role in managerial accounting. Therefore, separate reports by the main business processes in trading enterprises are supposed to be prepared, namely on purchasing, transportation, storing and selling. The organizational structure of trading enterprises, types and total sales volumes, and other specific features of the trading industry have a significant impact on centres of responsibility, and therefore, on types and structure of managerial accounting reporting. The process of preparing reports on budgetary performance involves determining items of expenditure specific for each department of a trading enterprise and its activity. Discussion. Further research efforts should be aimed at improving managerial accounting reports with respect to budgetary performance, particularly at developing a ‘Consolidated Record of Financial Results from Selling Goods by Direct-Cost System’. The authors argue that the format of consolidated record of financial results from selling goods can be applicable to other systems. Such a consolidated record can serve as a basis for preparing ‘The Trading Company Performance Report”. This practice should be introduced in trading enterprises in line with specific characteristics of their financial and economic activities.

The article deals with the theoretical and methodological issues of planning innovative processes, which are carried out mainly with the help of linear (or tape) Gantt charts and network methods. Linear graphs, as a rule, reflect the process of creation and development of new technology (SNT) in a time scale by its main stages or stages. At the same time, where possible, parallel-serial or parallel execution of works (stages) is provided. Linear graphs are characterized by the following disadvantages: conventionality in defining general terms of development; impossibility of establishing the importance of each of the works to achieve the final goal; difficulties in making corrections in connection with forced downtimes and postponements for separate related works; impossibility of multivariate forecasting; difficulties with the automation of planning and accounting work. These shortcomings are largely eliminated by the use of network planning and management (NMP) systems. This system is a complex of graphic and calculation methods, organizational measures and control methods that provide modeling, analysis and dynamic restructuring of the execution plan of complex projects. SPU is one of the methods of the cybernetic approach to the management of complex dynamic systems with the aim of ensuring the determined optimal indicators, for example, the minimum time for completing the entire set of works or the minimum cost of development. Realization of NTP achievements in the creation, production and operation of new equipment increases its efficiency and competitiveness in comparison with the used equipment. On the other hand, the continuity of NTP and the acceleration of its pace shorten the period of effectiveness of specific models of equipment and reduce their total economic effect, and accordingly, their competitiveness during the period of use. This reveals the relationship between the economic efficiency of new technology and its moral wear. This form of influence of NTP on the economic efficiency of new technology makes the time factor one of the most important. A loss in time can reduce to zero the effectiveness of the most advanced technical means at the time of development. For an earlier entry into the market, it is especially important to shorten the period of creation and mastery of production of a new model and the period of mastery of its design release.

Absence of management transition planning in Nigerian family enterprises undermines economic growth and job creation. Family businesses contribute significantly to the economic development in Europe and North America. This Mixed methods study involving sequential explanatory design investigated and explored the connection between culture and management transition planning in Nigeria. The specific problem investigated was the incessant collapse of family businesses after the death of founders. Management transition planning and its relationship with national culture of Nigeria, from the perspectives of nonfamily managers, is the main objective of this research. A survey involving a self-developed 40-item Likert-type scale was used for collection of data for the quantitative segment of the study. One hundred managers from 10 family businesses located in Lagos and Ogun states of Nigeria participated in the survey. During data analysis, SPSS 21.0 aided the computation of Spearman’s Rank Order correlation coefficient, which revealed that cultural beliefs and values, extended family system, tradition/legacy, and lifestyles of the family business owners had negative relationship with management transition planning. The quantitative findings indicated statistically significant correlation between culture and attitudes of family business owners toward management transition planning and allowed rejection of the four null hypotheses. Five top managers of the family businesses participated in the qualitative segment by responding to semi-structured interview questions. NVivo 10 software assisted the analysis of the qualitative data. The qualitative findings supported the quantitative results. Administrators, bankers, family business entrepreneurs, and academics would obtain valuable information from the outcomes of this study.

The ability to backfill leadership positions has become a key focus of business leaders since 2005 when the baby boom workforce started to age. An aging workforce threatens the capability of business leaders to develop leadership pipelines to ensure business success. Grounded by the social exchange theory, the purpose of this qualitative single case study was to explore successful strategies that technology services managers used to align core business objectives to improve succession planning at a technology services organization located in Dallas, Texas. Data collection and triangulation included semi structured telephone interviews with 12 technology services managers, company documents, and archival information. Data analysis included the examination of rich text data, coding, and classification of themes using Yin's 5-step approach. Four themes emerged, revealing that these managers (a) created and sustained a leadership talent pipeline for high potential employees for future leadership roles; (b) sourced internal candidates with core leadership competencies; (c) remediated leadership skills gaps through developed relationships and documented processes; and (d) re-engineered the replacement planning process for the internal leadership talent pipeline. Implications for positive social change include the potential for technology services managers to implement effective succession planning strategies that could increase employee morale, enhance profitability and growth, and promote healthy community partnerships.

Lack of workplace diversity planning leads to negative financial outcomes. The purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was to explore strategies that business managers in the retail sector use to enhance workplace diversity planning for assuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) regulations. The population included a single focus group of retail business employees as well as business managers of 5 distinct retail stores located in the Southeastern United States who have successfully instituted workplace diversity plans for assuring compliance with EEOC regulations. The conceptual framework for this study was cultural intelligence theory, which researchers have used to explore a person's ability to understand an unfamiliar context and assimilate the host culture. Methodological triangulation was achieved from the results of face-to-face individual interviews, a single focus group, and company documents. Interview data were analyzed using a modified van Kaam method. Analysis resulted in 3 themes (a) guiding principles; (b) training, including coaching and communication; and (c) hiring practices. The implication for positive social change includes the potential to provide new insights related to strategies applicable to workplace diversity planning in the retail businesses sector that can create or improve positive business and community relationships while potentially minimizing risk associated with profitability loss.

Business leaders face leadership crises as executives from the baby boomer generation retire, creating a shortage of experienced and knowledgeable leaders. Some business leaders are unprepared for the replacement of retiring senior-level executives and lack strategies for succession planning. The findings of this study indicate succession planning and leadership development play a significant role in preparing future healthcare leaders in their ability to improve the quality of patient care and improve the strategic and financial health of the organization. Guided by the human capital theory the purpose of this multiple case study was to explore the strategies used by healthcare leaders for succession planning. The study consisted of interviewing the chief executive officers of 3 separate hospitals operating under a multihospital system located in south-central Texas. The data collection process included semistructured interviews and review of relevant organizational documents related to leadership development. Through methodological triangulation and employing Yin's 5-step data analysis technique of design, prepare, collect, analyze and share, several themes emerged as strategies for succession planning. The themes of executive coaching, leadership dyads, and leadership pipelines, ensure a new generation of emerging leaders have access to experienced leaders through coaching opportunities and allow physicians to co-lead a hospital and maintain a meaningful presence in patient care. Social implications of the study include prepared leaders to implement the ongoing healthcare reform in the United States, trained to improve the quality of care provided to patients.

This thesis is involved with exploration of key changes drivers and market phenomena in the Southeast Asia and the development of new conceptual frameworks for business environmental analysis of airlines. The research is constructed under the phenomenology paradigm which adopts a coherentism approach and mainly takes airline industry’s publications, statistics, and executives as units of analysis. Hermeneutic phenomenology, a single-embedded case study, concurrent triangulation mixed method, and grounded theory are all used as methodologies. Methods using document reviews, interviews, and questionnaires are applied to surface the key changes drivers, market phenomena and the perceptions of the importance of changes factors. The collected data are analysed by content analysis, thematic analysis, cognitive mapping analysis, constant comparative analysis and descriptive analysis to classify, generalise and develop into proper forms. The research reveals that ‘market’, ‘competition/strategy’, ‘regulation/policy’, ‘infrastructure/resource’, ‘cooperation’, ‘distribution’, ‘technology, and ‘broad’ factors are discovered as key change drivers. Their different importance levels are measured by occurrences, density, centrality, and tail occurrences as root causes of changes. The characteristics of their interrelationships are based on directional and influential dimensions. There are 16 emerged changes/market phenomena and 11 generalised conceptual frameworks and 3 newly developed frameworks for analysing the airline business environment. The quantitative findings from content analysis are evaluated by inter-coder analysis which achieves kappa coefficient = 0.87 indicating high reliability of the analysis. The qualitative findings are qualified through ten criteria assessment of research quality. The deliverables provide both theoretical and methodological contributions. The research limitations are found in some sources of collected data and findings which are caused by scarce data availability and three types of biases. The recommendations for future research into financial performance, changes’ leading indicators and comparative in-depth study in other ASEAN countries and regions are made.

When the owners of family-owned businesses leave the workplace, they can transfer ownership to the next generation; however, their knowledge of the business goes with them. There is a gap in the literature regarding effective ways to transfer family business resources and knowledge to subsequent generations. The problem was some small and family-owned businesses do not have detailed plans in place based on the needs of owners and the successor generation, with cross-project knowledge as part of the succession plan. The purpose of this nonexperimental study was to examine the relationships between the subscales of cross-project tacit knowledge transfer and to examine the generational differences in cross-project tacit knowledge transfer among small and family-owned businesses. The theoretical underpinning of the study was Argyris and Schön's organizational learning theory. Data from family business owners were collected through an online survey administered by SurveyMonkey, using purposeful sampling. Data (n = 233) were analyzed using a Spearman correlation matrix and Kruskal-Wallis tests. The findings indicated there were significant associations for seven of the 10 correlations between the subscales of cross-project knowledge transfer with each relationship being positive. In addition, the findings suggested that there were significant differences in cross-project knowledge transfer by age cohort. These findings may assist informed family-owned business owners with the complexities of succession planning, which may lead to the business being successful over more generations. This may allow the business to sustain its contribution to the local economy and help the community to prosper, leading to positive social change.

Annotation:
Over 390,000 businesses failed in the United States in 2014. The primary cause for most business failures is poor planning, and budgets are a primary means of planning. The purpose of this correlational study was to examine to what extent, if any, budget planning, budget control, and the age of the business significantly predict financial performance in small businesses. The target population consisted of small business leaders in the Midwest. Churchill and Lewis's theory on the relative importance of selected management factors of small businesses through 5 stages of development formed the theoretical framework for this study. Data were collected through a self-developed online survey using existing Likert-scale measures for each variable based on prior research about those variables. A convenience sample of 86 Midwest U.S. small business leaders identified through SurveyMonkey's crowdsourcing pool resulted in 77 participants with useable responses. Standard multiple linear regression determined the extent to which budget planning, budget control, and age of the business predicted the value of financial performance. The model as a whole was able to significantly predict financial performance. The linear combination of predictor variables (budget planning, budget control, and business age) accounted for approximately 12% of the variation in financial performance. Budget planning significantly predicted financial performance, even when budget control and business age were held constant. Better planning using budgets may help leaders improve the financial health of their small businesses, potentially reducing business failures and job losses. Financially strong and healthy small businesses can create jobs and improve the economic health of local communities.

AbstractThis paper presents an approach of using methods of process mining and rule-based artificial intelligence to analyze and understand study paths of students based on campus management system data and study program models. Process mining techniques are used to characterize successful study paths, as well as to detect and visualize deviations from expected plans. These insights are combined with recommendations and requirements of the corresponding study programs extracted from examination regulations. Here, event calculus and answer set programming are used to provide models of the study programs which support planning and conformance checking while providing feedback on possible study plan violations. In its combination, process mining and rule-based artificial intelligence are used to support study planning and monitoring by deriving rules and recommendations for guiding students to more suitable study paths with higher success rates. Two applications will be implemented, one for students and one for study program designers.

Alpha Lanka (Pvt) Ltd operates in the apparel accessories industry in Sri Lanka, where On-time delivery (OTD) performance is a vital factor. However, achieving OTD to the expected level which is from 90% to 95% has become a challenge due to the complications in the production planning process. Currently, the production planning process is done manually by using Excel spreadsheets which increases the complexity of the planning process. The aim of this study is to recommend an innovative production planning tool that enhances OTD performance while giving accurate promise dates. The scope of this work is limited to one specific product line within the company. The study adopts an exploratory research design to clarify the problem and uncover new insights. The main research approach is qualitative research since it mainly considers the subjective experiences of people. Unstructured and semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and observations have been employed as primary data collection methods, and company records have been employed as secondary data collection methods. Finally, the research used process modeling, Pareto analysis, root cause analysis, and 5 why as the techniques to analyze the data. The analysis showed that Production delays were the main cause of OTD delays. This study suggested a model of a production planning tool that was developed using spreadsheets and related process improvements to achieve a proper production planning process. The tool was developed using various functionalities and formulas of spreadsheets to streamline the production planning with estimated lead time and to organize the production planning data effectively. Overall, the study provides valuable insights into the production planning process.

Machine learning is an algorithm based on pattern recognition and the concept that computers can learn without being programmed to perform specific tasks. Machine learning applications that are commonly used in the oil and gas companies are petrophysical estimation and well log classification, seismic structural identification, production forecasting, and artificial intelligence tasks. The goal of this study is to integrate machine learning workflows to evaluate how reservoir hydrocarbon distribution can help prospecting, field development, and production optimization, especially 4D seismic studies. Also to observe the fluid flow and to detect bypassed oil pockets changes during the production. The workflow consists of three phases: planning, execution, and delivery. The first phase consists of collecting and preprocessing wells, seismic and interpretation data. Once the plan is considered satisfactory, it will be followed by the execution that is started with data cleaning, processing, classification, and data validation. Machine learning methods are then deployed to build an electrofacies and reservoir distribution model for the Hugin Formation using Multi-Resolution Graph-Based Clustering (MRGC). After these models reach a satisfactory level, seismic attribute analysis is performed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Democratic Neural Network Association (DNNA) to create a facies probability volume. The last step in this phase is to detect geobodies of oil sand and propose an infill well or injection strategy to enable the enhancement of the oil recovery. Once the machine learning results are satisfying, tthe status of the workflow will change from execution to the delivery phase to create the final project presentation. In our study, DNNA has demonstrated excellent prediction and facies classification to image a large volume encompassing some wellbores, changes in the fluid flow during production between baseline, and monitoring seismic surveys with a good Matthews correlation coefficient of 0.849554. It allows the operator to observe the dynamic processes in and around the reservoir to help the placement of infill wells more effectively, increas development and production success, reduce risk when following proposed infill wells. The integration of machine learning can also improve the understanding of hydrocarbons in the field. It shapes E&P business strategies in a way that may increase profit revenues, such as enhanced oil recovery of an effective and efficient infill well and optimizing an injection strategy.

Customer expectations have changed due to the developing technology and changing and improving product variety. This has led the printing industry, the packaging sector in particular, to grow considerably. The food industry along with the increasing need to preserve food long periods of time have led to the need to develop methods that preserve the freshness and safety of food products during their shelf-life. For this reason, attention was paid to packaging systems to facilitate food processing, preserve food quality, extend shelf-life, and prevent the food from spoiling. Thanks to these systems, packaging went beyond being a simple barrier outside the food, and has also taken upon roles of releasing protective agents or removing unwanted matter. Microbial growth is one of the most important factors that cause food to spoil. Although the problem has previously been tried to be solved by heating, drying, fermentation, freezing and adding antimicrobial agents, there are limitations, especially when used with fresh food. Today, a new generation of technologies have been introduced to monitor the condition of products with a tiny sensor or label placed onto the packaging. Smart packaging is a packaging material that not only improves the basic functions of a product, but also responds to stimuli around this product. Smart packaging in general, has two main categories, namely intelligent packaging and active packaging. This study will examine the concept of smart packaging that has emerged due to increased competitiveness, digital interaction and consumer awareness, changes in consumer behaviour and expectations, and improved interest in product safety. As a result, it is obvious that state-of-the-art smart packaging, which can connect to the Internet and has many channels of interaction, will bring about new business models and create new customer experiences and will replace conventional packaging, which has no interactions, in the near future.

The aim of our research was to discover whether education in 3D computer graphics and visualisation can improve students' spatial visualisation skills and how the complex project as a design and synthesis of a 3D animation influences students' creativity. Spatial visualisation skills are extremely valuable in various professions, including graphic design and engineering, where 3D modelling and visualisation is becoming increasingly important for the qualitative execution of professional projects. Scientists define two types of three-dimensional skills, spatial visualisation and spatial orientation, where visualisation is understood as the ability to mentally rotate, flip and flip over presented images, while spatial orientation describes the ability to recognise the position or direction of objects in space. Creative process is defined as a sequence of thoughts and actions that lead to original and appropriate productions. The creative process can be discussed on two levels, i.e. macro and micro level with the related phases of the creative process: orientation, preparation, complementary stages after preparation, incubation, idea generation, production. The facultative course Advanced computer 3D graphic and visualisations is taught in the 2nd level studies of Graphic and interactive communication. Through project work, students are encouraged to use their creativity and imagination to create a visually attractive 3D animation that is also interesting in terms of content and in which they can convey the story they want to tell. For this reason, we often held individual sessions in which the teachers made profound corrections to the students' work and made suggestions for the further development of their projects. Experimental methods were: Questionnaires for self-assessment of the creativity process, whereby the students also interpreted their creative process with an illustration and the spatial visualisation test before and after the course. Regular evaluation of their project work with regard to the entire design process, i.e. 3D content creation, planning, technical approach and production, were also carried out. Results of the analysis present an interesting insight in students’ creative process, spatial ability and comprehension of 3D computer graphic that could be considered as teaching/learning guidelines in the coming academic years.

The result of the wider application of new digital skills is an increase in productivity as a basis for the growth of Latvian companies in the global market and an increase in material well-being in the market as a whole. In turn, the growth and competitiveness of companies is based on the ability to create and sell demanded, knowledge-intensive products and services on the basis of science, integrating into increasingly higher value-added global chains. Many companies are facing economic difficulties during the COVID- 19 crisis and have to suspend or significantly reduce their operations and staff. However, for some companies, the crisis has also given them the opportunity to reorient their operations to the digital environment, both in serving customers and in organizing the company's operations. The data obtained during the study show that the majority of entrepreneurs predict a decline in customer solvency and the emergence of new digital technologies in the market. Entrepreneurs think they should make more use of the latest technologies (forms of digital sales and communication with customers), new forms of cooperation in company communication (forms of digital communication with employees) and plan to introduce remote and / or semi-remote work. Entrepreneurs expect that the biggest challenges after the crisis caused by the pandemic will be the acquisition of new leadership skills and the acquisition of new digital technologies, as well as attracting investment. Unfortunately, the data of the study show that the majority of entrepreneurs did not use the support programs of state and local government institutions, but assessed the support measures developed by the government as very fragmented. The aim of the research: to assess the changes in the planning region at companies in different sectors in Riga planning region and to develop proposals to increase business productivity and competitiveness. Research methods: statistical data collection, business survey and in-depth interview.

During the European GoldenEye Project Type H2020 Number 869398, three drilling and blasting methods were analyzed in terms of the impact of the works on the environment, the choice of the most optimal scheme from the point of view of rock strength, the reduction of costs and the reduction of the impact of the environment. Here, the environmental footprint of the operation was significantly reduced. Analogous and graphic calculation methods were used using the programs Rhinoceros 3D combined with RhinoTerrain and O- Pitblast, but also topographical elevations with the drone necessary for the realization of the 3D geometrization of the open pit itself. The geomechanical parameters of the rock, geological and structural maps were used for the most accurate planning of the drilling and blasting site. A significant reduction in design times (77%) could be implemented in the design of the works. Optimizing rock mass removal was an important objective in the exploitation of mineral resources due to costs, risks regarding personnel protection. The method of extraction by using the drilling and blasting has been continuously improved by combining practical experience with the theory of explosions and the formation of explosive substances, statistical processing of the data obtained from the blasting, development of analytical, numerical, and graphic models. In the last period, the design activity of the grilling/blasting monograph has been perfected through numerical and graphic methods, facilitating the work of engineers in this field. This design is based on the data provided by the engineers detailing the geological structure of the rock mass to be extracted and the use of the mining product (crushing or grinding needs, use as rough stone, rock deposits, crushed stone, blasting rocks for slope stabilization). This paper analyzes the monograph for geomining and crushing/grinding conditions from Rosia Poieni.

The problem of determining the investment priorities of the national economy development has been actuated. It has been argued that the formation of institutional preferences for activation of industry investment processes should be carried out taking into account the potential ability of each sectoral group enterprises to increase the added value. The scientific and methodical approach for sub-sectors investment attractiveness assessment has been formed on the example of the Ukrainian food industry. It has been recommended to use for this substantiated set of relative performance indexes which are duplicated in aggregate statistical state surveys based on the enterprise’s financial statements. It has been formed the recommendations for the investment priorities of food industry development in Ukraine which are based on the appropriate calculations made by the TOPSIS and CRITIC methods. Methods of economic-statistical and comparative analysis were used for structural and dynamic characteristics of the Ukraine industrial enterprises activities. Given that innovation processes should also cover small and medium-sized industrial enterprises, whose resource opportunities are mostly limited, it is proposed to expand them within the framework of a strategic partnership. Graphic modeling methods have been used to visualize the process of building the business structures resource potential on the basis of their strategic partnership. The influence of the motivational environment on the value of organizational relations within the partnership has been formalized.

The article deals with the problem of introducing cloud calculations into 10th-11th graders’ training to solve optimization problems in the context of the STEM-education concept. After analyzing existing programmes of optional courses on optimization problems, the programme of the optional course Optimization Problems has been developed and substantiated implying solution of problems by the cloud environment CoCalc. It is a routine calculating operation and not a mathematical model that is accentuated in the programme. It allows considering more problems which are close to reality without adapting the material while training 10th-11th graders. Besides, the mathematical apparatus of the course which is partially known to students as the knowledge acquired from such mathematics sections as the theory of probability, mathematical statistics, mathematical analysis and linear algebra is enough to master the suggested course. The developed course deals with a whole class of problems of conventional optimization which vary greatly. They can be associated with designing devices and technological processes, distributing limited resources and planning business functioning as well as with everyday problems of people. Devices, processes and situations to which a model of optimization problem is applied are called optimization problems. Optimization methods enable optimal solutions for mathematical models. The developed course is noted for building mathematical models and defining a method to be applied to finding an efficient solution.
