Der volle Inhalt der QuelleBackground and problem: According to Swedish law, employers must actively work for promoting gender equality in the organization. The law also states that larger companies have an obligation to prepare a sustainability report containing information on, among other things, gender equality. Are there differences in the presentation of gender equality work depending on industry affiliation? Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to describe what different companies report in their activities for gender equality depending on industry. The thesis aims to identify and explain differences in the reporting of Swedish listed companies within the three different industries; IT, real estate and finance industry. Method: In this study, a combination of a quantitative and qualitative research method with an abductive approach is applied. In order to examine the research questions, the study has adopted a content analytical research method, where a code scheme forms the basis for collecting empirical data from various companies' annual and sustainability reports. Conclusion: The study has revealed differences in the reporting of gender equality in the studied industries. The empirical data cannot explain any concrete reasons for the differences. However, the theory can explain companies’ actions and decision-making, which can form the basis for companies' reporting of gender equality. The study's result show that the financial industry reports its gender equality work to the greatest extent, followed by the real estate industry and the IT industry.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleCompanies that develop products strive to shorten their development time to maintain competitiveness and realize profits faster. Simultaneously, technical development has resulted in an increase in the complexity of products. This has meant that the uncertainty at the beginning of projects and the dependence between development activities has increased. The result of this will be greater difficulties in efficiently and adequately planning development projects and setting deadlines. The purpose of this report is to examine what affects and complicates planning for a product development company and how it affects product development time. Initially, a literature study was conducted, which formed the basis for our interview guide. Data collection was then carried out with the support of the interview guide at a company that develops complex products. Based on the collected data, difficulties and factors affecting product development were identified. Due to the scope of the results, an in-depth literature study was required to be able to compare results with theory. Overall difficulties and factors that were identified and analyzed were schedule, objectives, formal methods, and activities' interdependence. The results are largely in line with the theory presented on the subject in the report. The challenges that should be considered when planning for the development of complex products are mainly management of objectives and dependent activities. Without clear objectives and a dynamic process, development risks taking longer than it needs to. Finally, companies that develop complex products should strive to use a formal method developed specifically for their own company, so that successful projects can be easily repeated.

There is support that physical activity also has effect on the self-perceived quality of life. Depression and anxiety are common among people with psychotic disorder, and combined with side effects from medication the risk of a less healthy lifestyle and inactivity increases.Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate whether there are any differences between those who are more and those who are less physically active when it comes to quality of life, depressive symptoms and anxiety symptoms among people with psychosis in a Swedish hospital. The aim was also to investigate what the patients’ exercise habits looked like while being admitted to the psychiatric inpatient care. Methods: This study is a quantitative cross-sectional survey performed in a psychiatric ward, specializing in psychosis. The study included 19 participants and the response rate was 86%. Data were analyzed using a non-parametric test, Mann Whitney U test. The significance levels for all statistical tests were set to .05.Results: On the scale measuring physical activity level in general there were significant differences between low-and high-level physically active participants regarding quality of life, anxiety and depression (p=0.012, p=0.046, p=0.048). On the scale, that measured the level of physical activity in the last two weeks, there were no significant differences. Conclusions: People with psychotic disorders that are high-level physically active, rate their quality of life higher and their symptom levels lower than those who score in the low-level regarding physical activity.

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleBackground: Alcohol consumption contributes to disease, disability and increased morbidity worldwide. Treatment options for those with problematic alcohol use are primarily medical- and/or therapeutic interventions. Relapse in the problematic behaviour is relatively common. There is therefore a need to continue to develop the care provided to people undergoing alcohol treatment. Physical activity is a nursing intervention that the nurse can use to promote healthy lifestyles and alleviate disease. There is preliminary research on the positive impact that physical activity have for patients with alcohol use disorders but no research is to be found on whether the intervention is used in the clinical practice. Aim: To describe nurses' perceptions and experiences of physical activity for patients with alcohol use disorders. Method: Qualitative design with semi-structured interviews was conducted with seven nurses working at outpatient dependence clinics. Qualitative content analysis was used to analyse the data. Results: The nurses described the physical activity as a fundamental element of health and as a necessity in the patient's everyday life. Physical activity was a way for the patient to break habits associated with alcohol. Physical activity was considered to decrease many of the comorbid conditions related to alcohol use, increased the patient's self-esteem and was a way for the patient to independently affect their health. The nurses searched to inform and motivate the patient to the right level of physical activity. There was a lack of structure in the everyday clinical practice and nurses demanded practical possibilities and better guidelines within the organization to facilitate the promotion of physical activity to patients. Discussions: The results are discussed from Orems self-care theory and relevant research.
