The action-oriented teaching method based on the principle of action-oriented teaching process is helpful to the cultivation of students’ comprehensive professional ability. The course of “beauty and skin care technology” is a professional core course for the major of medical beauty technology. It is closely related to the examination of beautician qualification certificate and belongs to the course of integration of courses and certificates. The course is mainly based on human aesthetics, common sense of physiological anatomy, theory of traditional Chinese medicine and massage techniques to study skin care technology, so as to delay aging and improve skin beauty problems. It is required that the trained talents can become first-class beauticians, beauty tutors and beauty consultants in the beauty industry. Under the traditional teaching mode of this major, the teaching method is single, the teacher is dominant and the teaching content is divorced from practice. Combined with the work process, the teaching method should be improved and innovated by using the guiding text teaching, project teaching, role-playing teaching, situational simulation teaching and case study. These action-oriented teaching methods can effectively promote the training of senior medical beauty technology professionals with scientific thinking and strong comprehensive professional ability.

The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of beauty modeling training course in teaching efficiency from the creative beauty salon design in the beauty science department of continuing educational university, following the theories and establishing the training model by applying the structure equation modeling, and tested the fit of model as well as the influence of variables. The results indicated the model was deleted 9 of 35 items and connected seven relationships variables by questionnaire survey, the fit and model were built, the advantages of beauty modeling training course teaching influenced learning from creative beauty salon design course teaching. Two teaching contents in creative beauty salon design course, the practical teaching and creative beauty show teaching, the contents of the former to teach theory and practice and the latter demonstrational show was added. Two learning class students of the Beauty Science Department of Continuing Educational Collage of Chienkuo Technology University in Taiwan in 2011 and 2012 academic years as the pilot test group to instead of experimental group, and the control group respectively, It found that the latter is better the former. The learning and application, and that efficiency teaching is accepted.

An undergraduate senior-level course, the psychology of beauty, taught within the positive psychology approach, was designed with the aim to increase state and trait levels of engagement with beauty among its students. The course was a service-learning course in which students were paired by the Area Agency on Aging with elders in the greater community as a practicum experience. They studied the moral beauty of the elders, learned from their wisdom, and aimed to fulfill social needs of the elders. Results suggested that in nearly every class session, students significantly increased their state levels of engagement with beauty and state levels of engagement with moral beauty during their visits to the elders’ homes, both with moderate to large effect sizes. Trait levels of engagement with beauty, however, did not increase over the span of 12 weeks.

The purpose of this qualitative study is to evaluate how the aesthetic value is handled in social studies textbooks. In this study, document analysis was used. Firstly, the sections devoted to the teaching of aesthetic value in the social studies curriculum were examined. After the social studies, curriculum was reviewed it was found that only two of the textbooks (the 5th and 7th grades social studies textbooks) contained sections that taught aesthetic value. The findings of the research indicate that values education has a significant place in the social studies curriculum (2018), but the teaching of aesthetic value is very scarce in social studies textbooks. Aesthetic value is being taught by giving only examples of historical buildings or historical relicts. Aesthetic value has not presented in the context of creativity, beauty, thinking of beauty, meaning of beauty, creation of beauty or the emotional and intellectual basis of beauty. Objectives The purpose of this study is to identify the content changes and trends of the beauty pedagogy questions by analyzing the secondary school beauty teacher recruitment test items. Methods According to the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation(KICE), the secondary school beauty teacher recruitment tests from 2014 to 2023 had 30.5 questions in total for beauty pedagogy, including 7 questions in 2014, 4 in 2015, 4 in 2016, 5 in 2018, 5 in 2020, and 5.5 in 2023. This study analyzed them by year, evaluation areas and contents after verified by expert group, adopting an item analysis framework (beauty department curriculum, teaching⋅learning model, evaluation). Results First, the test has had a different rate of questions for beauty pedagogy, leaving a couple of years below the standard. Second, evaluation areas have been heavily weighted towards teaching⋅learning model, excluding the curriculum and evaluation occasionally. Third, most of the evaluation content consists of teaching⋅learning method application and evaluation method, which doesn't cover various content elements. Conclusions First, additional research should be conducted to develop the qualification standards, elaborate the evaluation areas, and evaluate the teaching performance for the indication subject,「beauty」, which has not been supplemented since 2008. Second, referring to the latest academic trends, we should set questions from diverse areas such as curriculum, teaching⋅learning model, and evaluation, and create a more intensive level of questions connecting pedagogy with content knowledge, relieving the overweight of beauty teaching⋅learning model part. Third, we demand follow-up research on content knowledge of beauty education, including pedagogy to help exam writers and prospective teachers to use them as a reference.

Architect, builder, and professor Christopher Alexander focused his life’s work on trying to understand what makes the physical environment beautiful, and how beautiful environments can be created today. Through careful research, innovative teaching, and unorthodox professional practice, Alexander formulated a unified vision of the physical environment based on a theory of “wholeness.” He observed that achieving beauty and wholeness in the built environment – as well as teaching it – requires the integration of processes and considerations that are usually kept separate: integrating form and function, integrating teaching and practice, integrating design and construction, integrating projects of various scales, and integrating all of these within the ongoing search for how beauty and wholeness might be reached, taught, and proliferated. Alexander explored and developed ways of implementing these observations throughout his decades of teaching at the University of California at Berkeley, culminating in the Building Process Area of Emphasis, which he founded with his colleagues in 1990. His former students from this period, together with new partners, established “Building Beauty” in 2017, a post-graduate program in architecture that continues to teach and expand upon Alexander’s theories and methods of generating beauty and wholeness in the physical environment.

Even though aesthetics is often not explicitly included in computer science curricula, a review of computer science literature shows that incorporating beauty is beneficial in areas such as programming and design. Beauty in the field of computer science unified with a theological view of beauty forms a faith-integrated perspective with vertical and horizontal dimensions. This article shows that a faith-integrated perspective of beauty in computer science adds transcendent meaning and purposes for incorporating aesthetics as part of a computer science academic curriculum. Some examples are also provided for teaching with a faith-integrated perspective of beauty in computer science courses for Christian higher education.

Advertising language sets an important role in conveying the purpose of influencing the consumers. To advertise a beauty product, the choice of words representing the concept of beauty becomes the first concern. This study aims to examine the types of meaning of the words used in a beauty product advertisement. To interpret the lexical meaning in beauty product, the method used in this study is descriptive qualitative analysis on six beauty products, particularly the hand body lotion product by Nivea company. The data were analyzed through Leech theory. The result showed two types of meaning in the body lotion products, namely the denotative and connotative meanings. Denotation occurs more in all of the product compared to the connotative meaning. The implication of the finding contributes to the teaching of semantics to enrich the understanding of the perspective of Leech theory in lexical meaning.

Abstract Using data from an Italian University, we relate student evaluations of teaching quality to the physical attractiveness of instructors (as evaluated by external raters using photos), controlling for a number of teacher and course characteristics. We first show that teachers’ beauty significantly affects evaluations of their teaching. We carry out a number of checks to tackle threats to internal validity: course fixed effects and individual research productivity are controlled for; an IV estimation strategy is undertaken using a second measure of beauty as an instrument; and measures of grooming and fastidiousness are introduced. Notwithstanding these controls, we find that more attractive teachers receive much better evaluations.

Applied research methods strengthen the relationship between theory and practice in the field of cosmetics and beauty care, which is important for understanding and development in higher education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for teaching materials in learning applied research methods in cosmetic and beauty care study programs. This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method guided by PRISMA. A total of 298 articles were collected from Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Taylor and Francis, and after applying predetermined criteria, 27 relevant articles were included for analysis. The findings of the study indicate that teaching materials have an important role in learning, and teaching materials will be effectively used if they meet the eligibility requirements that must be met, the implication is that it is important to explore strategies for developing new teaching materials for learning applied research methods in cosmetic and beauty care study programs to improve student understanding.

From the two directions of motion recognition algorithm and continuous motion segmentation, the feature classification method based on depth and joint data and the segmentation algorithm based on sliding window are studied to achieve the research purpose. In the experimental part, the algorithm is tested and analyzed based on the action data set, and the correctness and effectiveness of the algorithm are verified.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the level of teacher core competency differs according to the teaching experience of a beauty school teacher. A survey was conducted to analyze the core competencies of beauty teachers. The analysis method is a one-way ANOVA. As a result of analyzing the core competency level of beauty teachers, ‘executive competency’ was the highest, followed by ‘attitude competency’, ‘knowledge competency’. In the case of knowledge, compared to ‘theoretical knowledge of the major and the major subject in charge’, ‘practical ability for the major and the major subject in charge’, ‘the ability to apply teaching and learning evaluation related to the major’, ‘the professor related to the major’, ‘Learning evaluation development ability’ was evaluated low, In the case of performance, the average was slightly higher than that of knowledge and attitude in all competencies, and the level of ‘the ability to instruct students to acquire a certificate related to a major’ was evaluated high. In terms of attitude, ‘the ability to communicate smoothly with peers’ was high. Research purpose is to study and analyze the features of stable expressions about the beauty of women associated with the concept Heaven and Earth in different cultures. Research methods: we tried to understand and identify how the beauty of women is reflected in the stable expressions of different peoples, where the culture and assessment of female beauty is preserved in comparison with heavenly bodies and with all earthly beauty on our planet. Research results can be used: in the practice of teaching the course of comparative typology, lexicology of the Russian, Kyrgyz and English languages, as well as in teaching Russian, Kyrgyz and English on a linguacultural basis, both in foreign and national audiences. Conclusions: the semantic spaces of different languages made it possible to compare them with the subsequent allocation of universal universals, the national specifics of the concept sphere, since the concept sphere and the semantic space of a language have a common nature, since they are mental entities.

This study was conducted to empirically analyze how the Havruta teaching method affects communication and self-directed ability by conducting a beauty major class applying the Habruta teaching method. As a result of the study, it was found that communication and self-directed ability improved after applying the Habruta teaching method. In addition, there is a statistically significant positive (+) correlation with listening, overcoming stereotypical thinking, creative communication, understanding of others' perspectives, and statistically significant positive (+) correlation with learning attachment, self-confidence, openness, responsibility, and autonomy by subfactors of self-directed ability. The perception of Habruta teaching method has a statistically significant positive (+) effect on listening, overcoming stereotypical thinking, creative communication, and understanding of others' perspectives, and the perception of Habruta teaching method has a statistically significant positive (+) effect on learning attachment, self-confidence, openness, responsibility, and autonomy. As this study has empirically verified the effect of the Habruta teaching method on improving communication and self-directed ability, efforts should be made to conduct beauty major classes by applying various teaching methods such as the Habruta teaching method.

Abstract Background The artery of Percheron is a rare anatomic variant of arterial supply to the paramedian thalamus and rostral midbrain, and occlusion of the artery of Percheron results in bilateral paramedian thalamic infarcts with or without midbrain involvement. Early diagnosis of artery of Percheron infarction can be challenging because it is infrequent and early computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging may be negative. Thus, it can be confused with other neurological conditions such as tumours and infections. Methods This is a retrospective case study of a gentleman admitted to a teaching Hospital in Limerick and diagnosed with an artery of Percheron infarction. Medical records and the neuro-radiological database were reviewed, and the diagnosis was made based on typical symptoms and radiological findings of artery of Percheron infarction. Results We report the case of a gentleman who was found unconscious in his car on the roadside during the daytime. He had a decreased GCS and upon arrival in the Emergency Department he was intubated and transferred to ITU The initial head computed tomography performed on admission was reported as unremarkable. Bilateral ischemia in the paramedian thalamic nuclei was documented on a follow-up computed tomography on day 24 after hospitalization. He was extubated after 24 hours. He made a full recovery and was discharged home on day 5. Conclusion Artery of Percheron infarcts are rare. The radiological diagnosis can initially often be judged as normal and in combination with variability in the neurological symptoms it is a rather difficult condition to diagnose.

By designing and organizing experiential activity teaching according to Kolb’s learning theory, students not only exploit the beauty of words and artistic images but also thanks to that beauty, have good language skills, and positive and humane lives. Therefore, determining the model of experiential activity teaching in Literature is believed to become urgent. In this paper, Kolb’s learning theory is flexibly applied to teach the topic “Understanding a work of art adapted from literature”. The results show that the creative application is a direction that is consistent with the modern teaching perspectives in Literature and it is a very feasible application in the current teaching context in high schools.

The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of students in Writing Poetry of Natural Beauty with the approach of CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) SMP Negeri 2 Sendangagung Sendangagung Subdistrict. This research method uses Class Action Research (PTK) which is researching about students' teaching and learning activities in Writing Poetry of Natural Beauty with CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) approach. The population in this study is all students of grade VII Semester II SMP Negeri 2 Sendangagung Sendangagung Subdistrict, with the number of samples taken as many as 32 students. Analyze the data that the author performs by calculating the level of completion per indicator and comparing the results of each cycle performed. Based on the analysis of research data that the author can conclude that there is an increase in the ability of grade VII students of Semester VII SMP Negeri 2 Sendangagung Sendangagung Subdistrict in writing poems related to natural beauty. The average score of the first test was 67.4 with a percentage of completion reaching 60.6%. The average score of the second test was 68.35 with a completion percentage of 87.8%. The average score of the third test was 71.72 with the number of students achieving completion as many as 33 students and the percentage of completion reached 100%. This indicates an increase in students' ability to write poetry about the beauty of nature.

This study is a qualitative descriptive of the management teaching factory program, which excels in the competitive abilities of Dressing, Catering, Beauty, and SPA. The respondents were six teachers of a Vocational School in Bengkulu City. The findings revealed that management is effective in accordance with the management program that has been established. This paper provides all vocational school stakeholders with concerns on factory management where they would have excellent competence of the student.

Jenis penelitian ini Research and Development (R & D). Desain penelitian menggunaan prosedur yang diadaptasi menggunakan model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas IV Sekolah Dasar sebanyak 16 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan angket. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar PKN berbasis kearifan lokal. Hasil Penelitian pengembangan ini adalah Setelah melalui uji validasi bahan ajar PKN berbasis kearifan lokal sub tema Indahnya Budaya Negeriku dinyatakan valid, baik dari segi materi (isi dan penyajian) maupun dari segi media (ketatagrafikan dan kebahasaan). (2) berdasarkan hasil angket dari responden (guru) bahan ajar PKN berbasis kearifan lokal sub tema Indahnya Budaya Negeriku dinyatakan praktis. Hal tersebut diperoleh yakni rata-rata indikator pada kategori baik. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran, (3) bahan ajar PKN berbasis kearifan lokal sub tema Indahnya Budaya Negeriku dinyatakan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hal tersebut diperoleh dari Efektivitas bahan ajar ini diukur dari hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat dengan rerata nilai yang diperoleh dari hasil tes belajar siswa meningkat sebelum dan setelah menggunakan bahan ajar. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar Pkn berbasis kearifan lokal sub tema Indahnya Budaya Negeriku dinyatakan efektif dan layak untuk digunakan. The purpose of this research is to: (1) produce validated civic education teaching materials based on local wisdom with the sub-theme "The Beauty of Indonesian Culture" for fourth-grade students at UPT Elementary School 97, Pinrang Regency, (2) create practical civic education teaching materials based on local wisdom with the sub-theme "The Beauty of Indonesian Culture" for fourth-grade students at UPT State Elementary School 97, Pinrang District, (3) develop effective civic education teaching materials based on local wisdom with the sub-theme "The Beauty of Indonesian Culture" for fourth-grade students at UPT State Elementary School 97, Pinrang District. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a design based on the Borg & Gall development model. The subjects of this research were 16 fourth-grade elementary school students. Data collection methods used were observation and questionnaires. This research resulted in the production of civic education teaching materials based on local wisdom. The development of these teaching materials yielded the following outcomes: (1) The civic education teaching materials based on local wisdom with the sub-theme "The Beauty of My Country's Culture" were validated, both in terms of content (material and presentation) and media (graphics and language), after undergoing validation. (2) According to the responses from the respondents (teachers) in the questionnaire, the civic education teaching materials based on local wisdom with the sub-theme "The Beauty of My Country's Culture" were deemed practical. The average indicator fell within the 'good' category. This indicates that the teaching materials are practical for use in learning. (3) The civic education teaching materials based on local wisdom with the sub-theme "The Beauty of My Country's Culture" were declared effective for use in learning. This was determined by the improvement in student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the increase in average test scores before and after using the teaching materials. Thus, the civic education teaching materials based on local wisdom with the sub-theme "The Beauty of My Country's Culture" are declared effective and suitable for use.

Creating beauty is part of our imitation of Christ. In liturgical services, the conjunction of music and text form an indissoluble and equal partnership serving the unfolding Logos. The kind of beauty that leads to prayer and transcendence is brought about by (among other things) silence (understood as hesychia or inner tranquility), correct breathing and frisson, understood as a physical reaction triggered by a sense of wonder similar to that experienced by the crowds who heard Christ’s teaching.

The research was aimed to identify the target needs and learning needs of the tenth grade student of Beauty Study program at SMK Pariwisata Imelda Medan and to develop English speaking material through CTL for Beauty Study Program. This research was implemented by conducting Research and Development (R n D) study by Borg and Gall. There are four steps were done namely: (1) need analysis; (2) developing material; (3) evaluating and (final revision). The target clients of this research were 34 people which consisted of (a) 30 students of Tenth grade of Beauty Program chosen by total random sampling technique; (b) English lectures; (c) English teacher; and (d) stakeholder. There were 3 types of technique for collecting the data applied in this research, they were questionnaire which used to gain the need analysis and validate the material, documentation consisted of the existing material, and interview to support the data gained from the previous techniques. The data of the research was analyzed descriptively. The result of this research were (1) the students needed the English speaking material which contains the material relating to their filed expertise and supported by innovative and creative learning process, and (2) the English speaking material developed through CTL is a set of English speaking material which consisted of 6 units. Saundarya Lahiri (Waves of Beauty) by Adi Shankara glorifies the Devi Shakti (power of goddess) and her physical beauty. He projects that the perfect integration of the corporal and the physical aspects lead to the zenith of spiritual realm. Therefore, Bhakti (devotion) divulges the deep veneration of Devi Shakti through Sringaric (amorous) expressions in Saundarya Lahari. It proclaims that inner evolution and the feeling of sublime in the physical beauty of Devi Shakti radiate the sublimity of the spirituality as well. As a profound poetic creation in Sanskrit, it is distinct from the established belief and religious practices, and establishes the truth that physical beauty of Shakti is also the beauty of the spiritual. To explore these dynamics of Saundarya Lahari, this article applies the qualitative approach to research and the interpretive method. It also sheds light on how the genial gravity of bhakti and physical beauty in their totality leads to the better application of critical spiritual pedagogy in teaching.

Needs analysis aims to identify what English students should learn. However, there are still many teachers who have not analyzed the material needs of students. The material used by the teacher is too general for students. Students do not get English for specific purposes for particular majors. This results when students find it challenging to communicate with guests in certain areas. This study aims to analyze the English material and analyze the suitability of the English language material based on the ESP principles. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The study subjects were students of the class XI beauty program—the use of questionnaires and document checklists as data collection instruments. The study results indicate that students need unique English materials and special English skills in the tourism sector, especially in beauty spas. Furthermore, based on the document checklist, the English teaching materials in the beauty program are not by the ESP concept because the data shows that the teaching materials are too general and not close to the student's field. Therefore, students hope that the school can design an ESP program to improve competence in beauty spa activities.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the development of teaching and learning methods for beauty practical education by studying the effect of communication skills of beauty major students on practical class interaction. The data collection was conducted from March 14 to April 17, 2023 on college students majoring in beauty at domestic universities, and a total of 413 copies were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. The research conclusions are as follows. First, students with higher communication skills showed the highest interaction during class. Second, the higher the communication ability, the higher the correlation between class time interaction. Third, linguistic communication skills have been shown to affect interaction. Therefore, as a way to increase interaction, it is necessary to apply subjects and teaching methods that can increase linguistic communication skills. In addition, interactions such as mutual conversation and emotional exchange, listening and rejection, recognition and understanding should be activated by appropriately using textbooks, practical classes, and materials. It is believed that communication skills should be cultivated through various classes such as discussion and presentation as a professional beauty person.

On the basis of a teaching project, with the support of the webquest method, studying the richness and beauty of vietnamese language, aiming to develop the capability of the learners for meeting the requirements of renovative education program in high school, this article focuses on analyzing the manifestations of the students' aesthetic capability through teaching folks and folklore. The explanations presented in this article are the method of self-study and creation of students under the guidance, support, and references supporting from teachers; hence conveying the beauty and humanity values ​​to nurture students minds, awake the students' love and responsibility towards their mother tongue.

Intensive coursework has emerged as a university teaching and learning method following the demand for educational innovations such as improving applicability to real classes. Thus, this study aims to develop a lesson plan which can be applied to the university NCS hair- beauty curriculum by applying intensive coursework to PBL. Then, we will evaluate its suitability with an expert group. The PBL hair-practical lesson plan, asking for a long term learning, received positive feedback from the expert group on the whole. Thus, it seems to be worthwhile to apply the PBL model on the basis of the intensive coursework to the hair-practical lecture at the beauty college. More diverse teaching-learning methods would be developed with the help of specific administrative support, such as providing seminars on teaching-learning methods and training courses on program development, leading to a higher quality of education.

Students will practice the logical organization of information, articulating the key facts and assumptions underlying their solutions. They will practice communicating with a possibly hostile executive team, to whom they defend their proposal based on its merits. Case overview/synopsis This case recounts the recent history of the XT Beauty, a fictionalized but real company headquartered in Moscow, selling professional cosmetics, electrical instruments and equipment for beauty salons in St. Petersburg, and other cities in Russia. XT Beauty enjoyed successful growth until the onset of the 2014 economic crisis when consumer purchasing power plummeted. Students consider both the obstacles and opportunities presented by an emerging Russian market, customer behavior in a recession, managing sales talent, the leadership style of women, as well as key operational, and financial issues as the company react to a deepening economic crisis in an uncoordinated manner. The case is an introduction to the Russian business culture and operational environment. It focuses not only on challenges but also the opportunities in the anti-cyclical market for beauty products.
