The historical Analysis of Baudha Stupa and Kassap Buddha is the study of the history of Baudha stupa of Baudha Kathmandu Nepal. The main objective of the study is to analyze the historical importance of Boudhanath Stupa and Kasyap Buddha. Comparative Historical Analysis (CHA) method has been applied to analyze the collected facts and information. The story of Nalanika (Nalanika Jatak Katha) claims that Shringa (Having a horn in head) sage was the grandson of Kassap and son of Vibhandak sages was born in Mahalaxmi municipality, Lankuri Bhanjyang Shringa Rishi Ashram. Therefore, Kassap Buddha had visited and settled few times in the municipality. Thus Baudha Stupa – made by relics of Kassap Budha- Baudha Kathmandu has clear relation with Shringa Rishi Ashram of Lalitpur.

During the Majapahit era, the Nagarakrtagama book in the form of kakawin (Old Javanese poetry) was composed by Mpu Prapanca, the kakawin was completed in 1365 AD. no longer exist because it collapsed or the location is not yet known. Using an archaeological-historical approach, this study discusses several sacred buildings mentioned in the Nagarakrtagama whose existence can still be known archaeologically. The analysis was carried out by combining the written data from Nagarakrtagama with archaeological data in the form of temples on the site, to then review some of the features of the temple building. Through the analysis carried out, it can be seen that during the Majapahit era there were at least 3 types of religious buildings based on their religious background, namely Hindu-saiwa, Bauddha, and Shiva-Buddha. The most sacred buildings erected are Hindu-saiwa, it seems that in general, the Majapahit population embraces this religion. There is also a two-religious temple, namely Shiva-Buddha and a pendharmaan temple building that was erected to glorify a deceased figure, while a rare Bauddha sacred building is found in Majapahit. It seems that Buddhism did develop on a limited basis at that time.Key words: Majapahit, Hinduism, Buddha, temple, Mahameru, gods

It discusses the philosophies like Sankhya, Yog, Nyaya, Vaiseshik, Mimamsa and Vedanta that fall under six basic philosophies and three other philosophies like Charvak, Jain, and Bauddha which discard the existence of Veda. This essay briefly analyses metaphysics and epistemology, and discusses the metaphysics and epistemology of those nine different philosophies originated in the eastern landscape. Talking about metaphysics, this article has mentioned twenty-five Tatwa including Prakriti and Purush under Sankhya philosophy. Under Yog philosophy, there are twenty-six Tatwa, sixteen matters in Nyaya philosophy, seven matters in Vaiseshik philosophy, Panchakarma in Mimamsa philosophy, Bramhaism in Vedanta philosophy, materialism in Charvak philosophy, multi-physicalism (Bahutatwabad)
 in Jain philosophy and zeroism (Sunyabad) in Buddhist philosophy as discussed in the article. Regarding epistemology, there is discussion of the philosophy of good deed (Satkaryabad) in Sankhya philosophy, description of Chitta and eight folded yoga in Yog philosophy, discussion of Prama, Paramata, Praman and Prameya under Nyaya philosophy, atomism (Paramanubad) in Vaiseshik philosophy, Dharmaphal in Mimamsa philosophy, types of knowledge and ways of achieving salvation in Vedanta philosophy, description of physical world in Charvak philosophy, types of knowledge and their methods in Jain philosophy, and lastly, Karmabad, Anityabad, Anatmabad, Sunyabad, kshanikbad in Buddhist philosophy.]

Pendidikan dianggap sebagai alternatif yang bersifat preventif untuk membangun moral generasi muda sehingga dapat meminimalkan penyebab berbagai masalah budaya dan karakter bangsa. Salah satu sumber belajar untuk memberikan pendidikan moral adalah warisan budaya berupa sastra lisan yang mengandung gagasan dan makna filosofis yang berakar dari budaya lokal. Sastra lisan bauda merupakan salah satu warisan budaya masyarakat Melayu Tapung di Provinsi Riau yang menyampaikan petuah dan nasihat, aturan adat, dan kisah-kisah yang mengandung hikmah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis nilai-nilai spiritual keagamaan dan pendidikan moral yang terkandung dalam sastra lisan bauda. Rancangan penelitian ini dalam bentuk deskriptif kualitatif yang memaparkan dan menganalisis data sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sastra lisan bauda memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan agama yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan spiritual. Pendidikan karakter melalui sastra lisan ini diharapkan mampu membentuk pribadi yang memiliki akhlak mulia, pengendalian diri, kecerdasan, dan keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara.Kata kunci: Pendidikan, spiritual keagamaan, sastra lisan, Bauda Abstract Religious Spiritual Education through Local Literature: Description and Analysis of Oral literature Bauda. Education is considered as alternative which is preventive to build young generation moral so it can minimized the cause of various culture problems and nation character. One of learning resource to provide moral education is culture heritage in the form of oral literature which contain ideas and meaning of philosophy which are rooted from local culture. Oral literature bauda is one of culture heritage of Melayu Tapung community in Riau Province which convey advise and message, custom rule, and stories which contain wisdom. The aim of this study is analyze values of religious spiritual and moral education which are contained in oral literature bauda. The design of this study is in the form of qualitative descriptive which explain and analyze data in accord with the aim of study. The result of study show that oral literature bauda contain religion education values which can be used to enhance the spiritual power. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamas ryšys tarp žmogaus socialinio elgesio priežasčių, sprendimo priėmimo, tikslo pasirinkimo ir atsakomybės. Žmogus, pradėdamas veiklą, anticipuoja tos veiklos rezultato vertę: ji yra viena iš motyvacijos sudedamųjų dalių. Analizuojami atsakomybės psichologiniai aspektai. Svarstomi atsakomybės subjekto ir stebėtojo skirtingi veiksmo vertinimai: atlikėjas siekia tuo mažiau imtis atsakomybės, kuo sunkesnės jo poelgio pasekmės. Stebėtojas, priešingai, tuo labiau yra linkęs priskirti atsakomybę atlikėjui, kuo sunkesnės atlikėjo poelgio pasekmės. Atsakomybė už sprendimą padidėja, jei jis paskelbiamas kitiems. Už neatsakingumą visuomenė baudžia, taikydama oficialias ir moralines sankcijas. Interiorizavusi visuomenės normas, asmenybė už neatsakingumą baudžia pati save, patirdama savo vertės sumažėjimą. Tai pasireiškia į save nukreiptu agresyvumu – gėdos ir kaltės jausmais. Keliama veiklos aplinkybių kontroliavimo problema – subjekto galimybė aktyviai paveikti aplinką. Racionalus objektyvių veiklos aplinkybių keitimas natūraliai didina savarankiškumą, pasitikėjimą, o kartu ir atsakomybę.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil optimalisasi penugasan pekerja di UD. Tiga Baudara menggunakan metode Hungarian. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini adalah setiap karyawan menghabiskan waktu yang berbeda dalam menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini, digunakan metode Hungarian dalam mengefisienkan waktu yang dihabiskan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi perhitungan menggunakan metode Hungarian diperoleh total waktu optimal dalam menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan yaitu 39 jam dibandingkan dengan hasil yang diperoleh sebelum menggunakan metode Hungarian yaitu 42,87 jam, dan biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan meubel adalah Rp 1.664.000 dengan keuntungan meubel Rp 886.000.Kata kunci : Metode Hungarian, Penugasan, Program Linear.

Introduction: Knowledge of pelvic inflammatory disease and its epidemiology is essential to understand reproductive morbidity in women. This paper estimates the level of association between demographic factors and pelvic inflammatory disease in women in their reproductive age. Methods: A descriptive study done in Humla, Kritipur and Baudha by organizing a health camp. Women of reproductive age group and who have lower abdominal pain, pervaginal discharge, fever, and dysparunia were included in the study after taking informed verbal consent from the patient. Patients who have lower abdominal pain and pervaginal discharge were diagnosed as pelvic inflammatory disease. Results: Diagnoses of pelvic inflammatory disease were made in 30% of attendances amongst women aged between 16 to 48. Increased risk of pelvic inflammatory disease was associated with smoking (P<0.0001), age groups 31 – 40 yrs (44.6%),in rural areas(45%) and people who are illiterate (P<0.0001). Among 400, 383(95%) were reported ever using a modern contraceptive. Conclusion: The prevalence of pelvic inflammatory disease was 30% in reproductive age group and was significantly associated with smoking.doi: http://dx.doi.org/10.3126/mjsbh.v13i1.12992

Glavna zgrada Akademije likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu građena je u različitim etapama od 1895. do 1957. godine. U članku se prvi put detaljno analiziraju sve faze gradnje, počevši od Umjetničkih atelijera koje je 1895. projektirao Herman Bollé, dograđenih za potrebe Više škole za umjetnost i umjetni obrt po nacrtima Victora Grossa 1907. godine. Prema projektu Ćirila Metoda Ivekovića sklopu je 1921. prigrađena dvokatnica s visokom mansardom, a kao posljednja velika intervencija uslijedila je trokatna dogradnja 1957. godine prema projektu Ive Geršića. Sveukupno pet objekata različitih autora i razdoblja gradnje čini današnji jedinstveni arhitektonski sklop. Osim arhitekata projektanata, u članku se spominju i graditelji izvođači, Kuno Waidmann, Pilar, Mally & Bauda, Josip Dubsky, Wutte i Mihok. Navode se i interpretiraju i nerealizirani planovi i nacrti koje su izradili arhitekti Viktor Kovačić i Hugo Ehrlich (1908., atribucija), Rudolf Lubynski (1912.) te Srećko Florschütz (1914.). Tijekom prvih šezdesetak godina, od kraja 19. do sredine 20. stoljeća planirana je i izgrađena središnja zgrada u dvorištu Ilice 85, a u njezinoj su arhitektonskoj koncepciji i realizaciji sudjelovali tada najpriznatiji hrvatski arhitekti i graditelji.

Už minėtų draudimų pažeidimus Lietuvoje fiziniams asmenims remiantisATPK 1735 straipsnio 4 dalimi gali būti paskirta iki 30 tūkst. litų bauda (apie 8 700 eurų). Tačiau Piktnaudžiavimo rinka reglamentas, kuris greitu laiku pakeis 2003 m. direktyvą, už draudimų manipuliuoti rinka ir naudotis viešai neatskleista informacija pažeidimus fiziniams asmenims įtvirtina iki 5 mln. eurų administracines baudas. Pagrindinis straipsnio tikslas – išanalizuoti fizinių asmenų administracinės atsakomybės taikymo klausimą Lietuvoje, atsižvelgiant į naująjį ES piktnaudžiavimo rinka reglamentą. Market abuse directive 2003/6/EC provides that member states for market abuse violations, market manipulation and insider dealing, should establish proportionate and dissuasive sanctions. According to Lithuanian administrative code (Article 1735) up to 30 000 litas (about 8 700 euros) penalty might be imposed on natural person for violation of prohibition of market manipulation and insider dealing. However, Market abuse regulation, that will soon replace directive 2003/6/EC, establishes 5 million EUR administrative pecuniary sanctions in respect of natural person for market manipulation and insider dealing. The main goal of this article is to analyze the issues of the administrative liability of natural person in Lithuania taking into consideration the upcoming EU market abuse regulation.

Praeitų metų Literatūros numeryje rašėme apie dvi Senekos tragedijas: Tiestą ir Medė- ją1. Jos pagal Aristotelio antikinių tragedijų klasifikaciją priklauso tragedijoms, kuriose pagrindinis herojus sąmoningai siekia keršyti, nuolat dega pykčiu, o padaręs nusikaltimą, nepajunta kaltės. Šiame straipsnyje analizuosime dvi antrojo tipo tragedijas: Pamišęs Herkulis ir Edipas. Čia pagrindiniai herojai pražudo savo artimuosius netyčia, jų nusikaltimas yra klaida, kuri Aristotelio Poetikoje vadinama ἁμαρτία2, Senekos tragedijose – error3. Po atpažinimo herojai jaučia didžiulę gėdą (pudor) bei kaltę (scelus, culpa) ir patys baudžia save.Edipo mitas graikų tragikų buvo labai mėgstamas, be išlikusio Sofoklio Edipo karaliaus, buvo parašyta vienuolika Edipų. Jų autoriai: Achajas, Aischilas, Karkinas, Diogenas, Euripidas, Nikomachas, Filoklas, Teodektas, Ksenoklas, Likofronas, Meletas4. Aristotelis Poetikoje tragedijos Edipas siužetą vertino kaip vieną gražiausių ir geriausių iš visų graikų tragedijų5. Lotynų kalba buvo parašytos tik dvi tragedijos. Pirmoji – Gajaus Julijaus Cezario, antroji – Lucijaus Anėjaus Senekos. Seneka savo kūrinyje pritaikė Sofoklio sugalvotą marą, panaudojo daug naujovių. Senekos tragedijoje, kitaip nei Sofoklio, vaizduojamas baisus pomirtinis pasaulis, iš požemių pasaulio iškviečiamas miręs karalius Lajas. Senekos Jokastė nusižudo scenoje, Sofoklio tragedijoje apie jos mirtį praneša tarnas. Senekos Edipas labiau kenčia dėl baimės ir kaltės, Sofoklio – skaudžiau išgyvena gėdos jausmą. Seneka, priešingai nei Sofoklis, nevaizduoja Edipo santykių su savo vaikais.Senekos Pamišusio Herkulio siužetas labai panašus į Euripido Heraklio. Tarp graikų tragikų mitas apie Heraklį nebuvo populiarus. Nėra žinoma, ar be Senekos koks nors romėnų poetas buvo perkūręs Euripido tragediją, tačiau pantomimos teatre, ypač Senekos laikais, dažnai buvo vaidinamos adaptuotos graikų tragedijos pagal Edipo ir Herkulio mitus6. Romėnų poetas savo tragedijoje pritaikė daugumą Euripido naujovių. Pasak Apolodoro (II 4, 12), Heraklis savo žmoną Megarą ir vaikus nužudė ankstyvoje jaunystėje, o Euripidas vaizduoja, kad po paskutinio dvyliktojo žygdarbio – Cerberio paėmimo į nelaisvę. Tirono Liko paveikslas, Tesėjo įsikišimas ir Heraklio išvedimas į Atėnus – Euripido sugalvotos naujovės. Seneka siužetą šiek tiek pakeitė paskutiniame veiksme. Euripido Tesėjas (priešingai nei Senekos) nemini, kad Heraklį nuo kaltės apvalys dievas Arėjas (Gradyvas) (Sen. H. F. 1341–1343). Romėno tragedijoje ryški aliuzija į Aischilo Eumenides, kur vaizduojamas Orestas, apvalytas nuo kaltės ant Arėjo kalvos7. Euripido Heraklis savo žmonos ir vaikų nežudo scenoje, kaip Senekos herojus. Senekos Herkulis ne tik žudo scenoje, bet dar jo visus veiksmus bei jausmus nupasakoja scenoje esantis Amfitrionas. Romėnų poetas jau nevaizduoja deivių Iridės ir Lisos.Šio straipsnio tikslas – išanalizuoti Senekos tragedijų herojų jausmus prieš ir po savo kaltės atpažinimo, kokie jausmai kyla, kaip Seneka juos perteikia. Lygindami dviejų Senekos tragedijų – Pamišęs Herkulis ir Edipas – herojų jausmų raišką, pamėginsime išryškinti atpažinimo tragedijoms būdingus bruožus ir svarbiausius herojų jausmus: dezintegracinę ir socialinę baimę, kaltę ir gėdą. Taip pat apžvelgsime naujausius Senekos dramų tyrinėjimus, pateiksime istorinių žinių apie Senekos laikų romėnų teatrą, pantomimos įtaką tragedijoms.

Kova už nacionalinę mokyklą kartu su kova už lietuvišką spaudą ir nacionalinę bažnyčią sudaro vieną iš pačių ryškiausių lietuvių nacionalinio judėjimo istorijos puslapių. Iki šiol nėra darbo, kuriame išsamiau būtų išanalizuota carinės valdžios pozicija privataus mokymo Lietuvoje atžvilgiu, slaptų mokyklų atsiradimo priežastys. Šis straipsnis parašytas remiantis naujais archyviniais duomenimis, rastais TSRS Centriniame valstybiniame istorijos archyve Leningrade. Dar XIX a. pirmoje pusėje Lietuvoje buvo plačiai išvystyta privataus mokymo sistema. Pirmoje šešiasdešimtųjų metų pusėje, sustiprėjus reakcijai, caro valdžios administracija įvykdo griežtą švietimo sistemos centralizaciją. Priimami įstatymai, draudžiantys privačias mokymo įstaigas, o likusiose mokyklose įvedamas mokymas rusų kalba. Caro administracija grupinį privatų mokymą vadino „slaptosiomis mokyklomis“ ir iki karo padėties panaikinimo 1872 m. kovojo su jomis. Atšaukus karinę padėtį carinės administracijos valdininkams lieka tik teisė teikti ieškinius teismo organams, keliant teismo bylas. Teismai neskyrė šių bylų politinio pobūdžio bylų kategorijai ir daugeliu atveju patrauktiems teisminėn atsakomybėn asmenims būdavo skiriama bauda nuo 0, 25 iki 2 rublių arba jie išvis būdavo išteisinami. Straipsnyje yra lentelė, rodanti, kiek slaptų mokyklų caro administracijos valdininkai rado 1872 – 1882 m. m. Kauno gubernijoje ir Vilniaus gubernijos lietuviškuose valsčiuose. Iš 126 Kauno gubernijos slaptųjų mokyklų buvo nubaustos tik 25, iš 225 Vilniaus gubernijos – 63. Slaptųjų mokyklų skaičius kiekvienais metais ne mažėjo, bet augo. Tokia padėtis neramino caro administracijos valdininkus. Pradedant 1887 m. tarp Šiaurės – vakarų krašto administracijos ir Rusijos imperijos Centrinių įstaigų šiuo klausimu vyko aktyvus susirašinėjimas. Jis baigėsi tuo, kad Šiaurės-vakarų krašto administracijos reikalavimu 1892 m. balandžio 2 buvo priimtos „Laikinosios taisyklės“, uždraudusios privatų mokymą ir nustačiusios bausmes. Suvalkų gubernija, lyginant su Kauno ir Vilniaus gubernijomis, buvo geresnėje padėtyje, nes čia 1892 m. balandžio 2 Laikinosios taisyklės įsigaliojo tik nuo 1900m. gegužės 26. Straipsnyje skirta vietos privataus grupinio mokymo sistemos priežasčių aiškinimui, parodoma, kad slaptos mokyklos buvo atidaromos dėl įvairiausių motyvų. Slaptos mokyklos buvo ne tik lietuviškos, veikė lenkiškos, žydiškos, net rusiškos. Slaptų mokyklų persekiojimas savo tikslo nepasiekė. 1897 m. gyventojų surašymo duomenys rodo, kad lietuviai elementarų raštingumą įgydavo būtent slaptose mokyklose.

In the Qur'an, Allah entrusts many messages through parables about animals. One of the unique animals that Allah uses as tamtsīl (permisalan) in the Koran is a virus (fauqa baūdhah) the smallest animal from a mosquito (baūdhah), which is written in Surah al-Baqarah verse 26. If examined in the context of parables The facts of the verses of Allah will be found. Nature and everything there are verses kauniyah as a knife of analysis that is able to peel the signs of God's power contained in the revelation of God as a qouliyah verse. Then the verse is intriguing to be studied in terms of the present and present contexts, paying attention to the end of 2019, the world was shocked by the spread of the corona virus, known as covid-19. So named because of its emergence at the end of 2019 which is still spreading in the middle of 2020 with no knowing when it will end, until now it has claimed the lives of millions of people. In this study the authors used a descriptive analysis method, by examining the interpretations of some classical to contemporary commentators, such as Athari, Atharihar, Al-Maraghi, Imam Nawawi, Hamka, and Quraish Shihab. This is intended to find out the interpretation of some commentators, then reveal the content of science in Surah al-Baqarah verse 26, and bring up the message or wisdom contained therein. The results of this study indicate; First, according to modern commentators, fauqa baudd is interpreted as a germ and a virus. Second, modern science has proven that something that is considered trivial like a virus, can actually deliver signs of God's power that is so great. Third, man, it is classified into two in addressing Covid-19, which is the attitude of underestimating the corona virus so that it does not make a lesson on the pandemic disaster and the attitude of the muhasabah themselves to return to God and follow the direction of religious and government figures in addressing Covid-19.

Abstract The incorporation of the goddess Tārā into the Hindu pantheon appears to have begun around the turn of the first millennium, a couple of centuries after her first mentions in Buddhist sources. The earliest Hindu texts concerned with Tārā tend to acknowledge this through a narrative wherein the Vedic sage Vasiṣṭha must travel to ‘Greater China’ to learn from the Buddha how to propitiate the goddess properly through the violation of brāhmaṇical purity codes for which Indian tantric traditions are infamous. Over time her ‘foreign’ associations faded, narratives linking Tārā to sites in Assam and Bengal became more prominent, and her worship drew closer to regional Hindu orthopraxy. This essay tracks the latter stages of that process especially through a reading of early modern ritual manuals in Sanskrit before considering a more recent revival of interest in the Hindu Tārā’s Buddhist connections as shown in Bengali sources and fieldwork.

Rice blast caused by Magnoporthe oryzae is a major devastating fungal disease and represents a potential threat to world rice productions. However, information about the genetic and biochemical basis of disease tolerance is still limited. In this study, we tested the presence and diversity of resistant R genes using SSR markers, and the antioxidant enzymes catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidise (APX) and guaicol peroxidise (POD), activity and also the concentration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in resistant (BAUdhan 3) and susceptible (BRRIdhan 28) genotype. Molecular marker analysis reveals the presence of all ten studied resistant genes in BAUdhan 3. Among the markers studied, three markers namely RM224, RM72 and RM206 produce distinct band only in resistant genotype BAUdhan 3, which might be used to screen resistant genotypes. The enzymatic activity of APX, CAT and POD increased in the inoculated plant for both cultivars but the increase was more prominent for BAUdhan 3. The M. oryzae infections significantly increased the H2O2 content in BRRIdhan 28 and not much changed in BAUdhan 3. The MDA concentration was higher in the leaves of inoculated plants of BRRIdhan 28. The higher activities of APX and POD in the leaves of the inoculated plants of BAUdhan 3 resulted in lower H2O2 accumulation which can minimize the cellular damages possibly caused by reactive oxygen species. The result shows that the presence of more resistance genes and an effective antioxidative system in BAUdhan 3, which limits the damage caused due to fungal infection and thus contributes to greater resistance.

Suaugusieji turi daug vaiko negatyvaus elgesio korekcijos priemonių. Jie gali vaikui kantriai paaiškinti, kodėl jo veiksmai yra netinkami ir kokio elgesio tikisi iš savo vaiko arba be komentarų taikyti įvairias bausmes. Aptarsime tik fi zines bausmes, nes nėra vieningos mokslininkų nuomonės apie tokių priemonių pasekmes vaiko asmenybės raidai, o suaugusieji jas ypač dažnai taiko vaiko elgesio korekcijai.Tyrimo tikslas — suaugusiųjų požiūrio į fi zines bausmes, kaip į pedagoginę elgesio korekcijos priemonę, tyrimas. Ištirta 100 respondentų imtis (50 vyrų ir 50 moterų), sudaryta patogiuoju būdu. Tyrimui atlikti sudarėme anketą, rem-damiesi viešosios nuomonės ir rinkos tyrimo centro „VILMORUS“ gyventojų apklausos metodika, vaikų patiriamam smurtui tirti (1999). Tyrimo medžiaga analizuota taikant matematinės statistikos metodus. Gautų rezultatų skirtumo patikimumas buvo apskaičiuojamas pagal chi kvadrato (χ²) kriterijų, kuris naudojamas hipotezėms apie kintamojo skirstinį populiacijoje tikrinti. Pasirinktas patikimumo lygmuo α = 0,05. Rezultatų skirtumas laikytas reikšmingu, kai p < 0,05. Išsiaiškinta, kad fi zines bausmes naudoja daugumas tėvų (atitinkamai 52% vyrų ir 78% moterų) (p < 0,05). Moterys reikšmingai dažniau nei vyrai yra patys patyrę fi zinę bausmę vaikystėje. Pastaruoju metu pastebima tendencija, kad fi zinė bausmė vaikams, kaip elgesio korekcijos priemonė, pasirenkama rečiau. Respondentus tėvai vaikystėje dažniau-siai bausdavo už neklusnumą atsikalbinėjimą, dingimą iš namų, melą. Pagrindinės priežastys, dėl kurių respondentai baudžia savo vaikus, — atsikalbinėjimas, neklusnumas, melas, blogi pažymiai, prasta tėvų nuotaika. Beveik pusė respondentų (58% vyrų ir 48% moterų) mano, kad fi zinės bausmės padeda tapti geresniu žmogumi. Nuomonei, kad fi zinės bausmės yra būtina auklėjimo priemonė, prieštarauja 52% vyrų ir 22% moterų. Tačiau tik trečdalis respondentų (30% vyrų ir 28% moterų) mano, kad fi zines bausmes reikia uždrausti įstatymu.Raktažodžiai: elgesio korekcija, fizinė bausmė, fizinių bausmių taikymo priežastys, fizinių bausmių pasekmės.

Good nutrition is the foundation of human well-being that leads to better health, effective engagement of the workforce, and productive lifestyle, resulting in higher income and an integrated development trajectory. This paper attempts to comprehend the impact of climate vulnerability on household nutrition status through agriculture production systems in Odisha, India. This study using secondary data estimates a composite index of climate vulnerability on the agriculture ecosystem in Odisha at the district scale. Results suggest that among all the districts in Odisha, Bhadrak (0.193) is the most vulnerable district followed by Sonepur (0.191) and Baudh (0.190). On the other hand, Mayurbhanj (0.099) is the least vulnerable district followed by Ganjam (0.103) and Sundargarh (0.105). The fi ndings also suggest that there is a wide variation in vulnerability indicators among the districts in Odisha (0.099 – the lowest district value vs. 0.193 – the highest). The results of multivariate analysis evince that in households (both women and children) nutritional status, the composite value of “climate vulnerability” has a greater role in predicting the predictors in Odisha through the agriculture production system. The climate vulnerability has a positive and signifi cant relationship with forest area (r=0.403*), gross cropped area (r=0.489**), percent of scheduled caste population (r=0.510**), percent of urban area (r=0.427*), and per-capita income (r=0.712**). The fi ndings also signify that district-wise gross cropped area (t=3.01), average annual rainfall (t=4.05), area under irrigation (t=3.36), cropping intensity (t=3.60), and forest areas (t=1.81) play a more predictive role to determine the household nutritional status along with socioeconomic and health factors such as per-capita income (t=1.8), urbanization (t=1.91), and women’s anemic status (t=2.74). Drawing inferences from the empirical evidence, the study suggests that climate vulnerability has a much greater role in influencing household nutrition status, particularly with women and child nutrition through the agriculture production system. Appropriate policy level measures for climate-sensitive and adaptive action are the need of the hour to make agriculture production ecosystem contributes positively to nutrition status.
